LEFT FRONT WHEEL STUD BROKEN OFF COMPLETELY. DO NOT KNOW WHEN OR HOW IT HAPPENED. WENT TO GET WHEELS ROTATED AND FOUND BROKEN STUD.
THE STEERING WHEEL STARTED TO JERK. SHORTLY AFTER THIS HAPPENED, THE POWER STEERING STOPPED WORKING ENTIRELY. THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DISPLAYED A NOTICE THAT SAID SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW. THE TCS LIGHT CAME ON WHEN THE POWER STEERING STOPPED WORKING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE POWER STEERING SEIZED AND THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILURE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THE POWER STEERING WAS STIFF AND DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE STREET MAKING A SLIGHT TURN MY FORD FUSION 2011 EXPERIENCED FULL ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING FAILURE. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I HAD THIS SAME ISSUE 4 YEARS AGO IN DEC. 2015 (46,000 ODOMETER) WITH THE ELECTRONIC STEERING UNIT (PSCM) AND HAD IT REPLACED AND REPROGRAMMED AT THE FORD DEALERSHIP. THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE $1800 PART TO HAVE TO REPLACE A SECOND TIME (74,000 ODOMETER). CONTACTED THE FORD SERVICE LINE AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO.

THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TAYLOR FORD OF WAYNESVILLE (828-452-5111, LOCATED AT 524 RUSS AVE, WAYNESVILLE, NC 28786) WHERE THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED THE AIR BAGS AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE FLOOR MAT. THE STEERING WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO STEERING RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 73,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE POWER STEERING BECAME INOPERABLE. THE CONTACT MANAGED TO PULL THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 159,000.
POWER STEERING TO THIS CAR WENT ON ME AS I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS . I SEE I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT IS HAVING ISSUES WITH THIS, THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL DONE ON THIS AS I AM NOT PAYING 1800 ON THIS PART WHEN IT ISN'T JUST MY CAR.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY ALMOST HOME WHEN A 'POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULTY' NOTIFICATION APPEARED IN THE DASH. AS I APPROACHED MY DRIVEWAY I REALIZED I COULD BARLEY TURN TO GET OUT OF THE HIGHWAY.
THIS CAR HAS BEEN CARRIED IN TWICE FOR LOSING POWER STEERING. IT HAPPENED AGAIN ON 09/28/19 WHERE AN ACCIDENT WAS INVOLVED. POWER STEERING WAS LOST WHILE MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. COULD NOT PULL CODES OFF COMPUTER AS POWER WAS LOST BY ACCIDENT.NO AIR BAGS WERE DEPLOYED NOR DID SEAT BELT ENGAGE
DROVE AT 25 MILES PER HOUR MY CAR SUDDENLY JERKED AND HESITATED ON ACCELERATION. AT THIS TIME A WRENCH LIGHT CAME ON AND MY CAR COMPLETELY LOSS POWER. I COULD NOT ACCELERATE AND THE CAR MOVED AT 10 MILES/HOUR. THIS WAS VERY DANGEROUS! I WAS LUCKY BECAUSE IT WAS IN THE EARLY MORNING, NOT MANY TRAFFI. I COULD HAVE IN CAR ACCIDENT IF IT HAPPENED IN A RUSH HOUR. I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO FORD DELLER AND COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. THIS HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES IN LAST SEVERAL MONTHS. YOU GUYS REALLY NEED TO GET ALL OF THERE FORD FUSIONS OFF OF THE ROAD.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GOLF MILL FORD (9401 N MILWAUKEE AVE, NILES, IL 60714, (847) 470-9800) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING GEARS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V340000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 77,000.
WE WERE DRIVING OUR 11 FUSION ON A NARROW ROAD AND PULLED OVER INTO LOOSE GRAVEL WHILE BRAKING AND THE ABS WAS ACTIVATED AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT ALMOST TO THE FLOOR. THE NEXT DAY THE BRAKES SEEMED FINE, THEN I PULLED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND THE BRAKES WENT ALMOST TO THE FLOOR AGAIN AND THE PEDAL HAS NEVER CAME BACK. I'M SCARED TO DRIVE THIS CAR BECAUSE I FEAR THAT SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET KILLED BEFORE FORD IS FORCED TO ENACT A RECALL. PLEASE HELP US! SINCERELY, FED UP. *TR
THE POWER STEERING FAILED TO OPERATE CORRECTLY AND THE DASH DISPLAYED A "POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT" AND "SERVICE ADVANCETRAC SYSTEM" WARNING DURING STARTUP. THE ERROR REPEATED DURING SEVERAL STARTS AND FINALLY BECAME CONSTANT.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN REPAIRED THREE TIMES PREVIOUSLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 97,343. *DT*DT THE CONTACT HAS STATED THAT THE PROBLEM OCCURRED ONCE WHILE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY AT A SPEED OF 70MPH. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THEY WERE ALMOST IN A COLLISION AND WERE STUCK ON THE HIGHWAY, WAITING TO BE TOWED.
POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. TOOK TO TO DEALER TO HAVE AN OLDER RECALL PERFORMED. SEVERAL DAYS LATER, POWER STEERING FAILED COMPLETELY SHORTLY AFTER STARTING WHILE IN A PARKING LOT. I ALMOST HIT ANOTHER PARKED CAR WHEN I SUDDENLY COULD NOT TURN. APPARENTLY THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE, I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY FORD IS PERMITTED TO HAVE THIS PERSIST. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE! THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A PERSON WALKING THERE!!!!
MY CAR WAS 100% FINE WHEN I DROVE TO WORK AND 3 HOURS LATER WHEN I WAS DRIVING FOR LUNCH THERE WAS A MESSAGE THAT THERE WAS A POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT. THANKFULLY I WAS NOT IN A BUSY AREA BECAUSE I COULD BARELY CRANK MY WHEEL TO TURN. THERE IS A RECALL FOR 2011 FORD FUSIONS BUT MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. YET WITH NO INDICATORS MY POWER STEERING DOES NOT WORK.

UPON RESEARCH, 400,000+ FORD FUSION 2011'S HAVE BEEN RECALLED OVER THIS SAME EXACT ISSUE - YET IT SEEMS THAT NO ONE'S VIN #S MATCH WITH THE RECALLED VEHICLES. YET AGAIN, OVER 2000+ RECENT COMPLAINTS ON NHTSA WEBSITE AS WELL! THIS IS RIDICULOUS - ALMOST 2 YEARS LEFT TO PAY ON MY LOAN AND MY VEHICLE DOESN'T MATCH THE VIN FOR THE RECALL - WHEN OBVIOUSLY, YES IT [XXX] WELL DOES! I HAD TO CALL FOR HELP BECAUSE I'M TOO PREGNANT TO FORCEFULLY MANHANDLE THE WHEEL THAT BARELY TURNS 2 INCHES TO EITHER SIDE, TO TRY AND STEER A VEHICLE WITH NO POWER STEERING! THE DEALER UPDATED THE ELECTRONIC SYSTEM AND RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO THE CONTACT'S FATHER. RECENTLY, WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE POWER STEERING FAULT WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE CONTACT'S FATHER HAD DIFFICULTY STEERING THE VEHICLE. FOR SOME TIME, THE CONTACT'S FATHER WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND IT RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE HAD BECOME MORE PERSISTENT. THE CONTACT'S FATHER RETURNED TO THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT HE WAS NO LONGER ELIGIBLE FOR A RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT'S FATHER WAS GIVEN A QUOTE OF $2,200 TO REPLACE THE POWER STEERING RACK AND PAID A $125 DIAGNOSTIC FEE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS UNAWARE IF THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,120.

SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW TODAY I HAD A FLAT AND CHANGE THE TIRE AFTER I PUT THE NEW TIRE ON MY CAR BEEN HARD TO STEER AND THIS SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW HAS BEEEN ON SINCE AND I HAVE TRIED RESET IT BY UNHOOKING THE BATTERY BUT THE DAY THING I AM TRYING TO SEE IF I HAVE A RECALL ON MY CAR FOR IT ARE HOW I CAN GET MY CAR FIXED FOR IT SINCE THERE ARE RECALLS FOR 2011 FORD FUSION

WHEN YOU FIRST START THE CAR, THE BREAK BOOSTER IS NOT BUILDING PRESSURE PROPERLY. THE FIRST TIME YOU USE THE BREAKS, THE BREAK PEDDLE WILL GO ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR BARELY ENGAGING THE BREAKS. THERE IS NO WAY TO PERFORM AN EMERGENCY STOP IF NEEDED. I HAVE HAD THE CAR LOOKED AT IN DIFFERENT SHOPS FOR THIS. ALL PEOPLE WHO HAVE DRIVEN THE CAR HAVE DUPLICATED THE PROBLEM BUT ARE UNABLE TO FIND A FIX. THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR.
DRIVING IN A PARKING LOT TO PICK UP MY SON AND WENT TO PARK AND THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT. SO I WASN'T GOING VERY FAST I WAS PARKING. EVEN THOUGH I WAS IN NO DANGER OR ANYONE ELSE I FEEL THAT THIS COULD HAVE GONE WORSE, THANKFULLY IT DID NOT. IT WENT WITHOUT WARNING.

THROTTLE BOTTLE POPS A CODE. WRENCH LIGHT COMES ON WHILE IN MOTION AND SUDDENLY STALLS. I CAN PULL OVER AND SHUT OFF VEHICLE TO CLEAR CODE. RESTARTING VEHICLE WORKS AMD I CAN DRIVE TO MY DESTINATION. IT DOES HAPPEN AGAIN USUALLY NEXT DAY. IT DOES NOT MATTER THE SPEED OF VEHICLE. MECHANIC STARTED FAILED THROTTLE BODY. MY CAR ONLY HAS 121000 MILES. IS THIS STILL COVERED BY FORD. 2015 A JUDGEMENT COVERED VEHICLES FOR 10YRS OR 15000MILES WHICHEVER CAME FIRST.
DRIVERS INSIDE DOOR HANDLE BROKE AND UNABLE TO EXIT. REQUIRED CRAWLING OVER TO PASSENGER DOOR. THE OUTSIDE HANDLE OPENS. THE INSIDE DOOR HANDLE LOOSE AND UNSTABLE. MY VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN RECALL MODEL/YEAR. THE INTERNET IS FLOODED WITH SAME COMPLAINT PROBLEM OF FORD FUSION 2009 2010 AND 2011. PLEASE MY VIN CAR TO RECALL. INJURY TO RIGHT KNEE WHEN CRAWLING OVER FROM DRIVER DOOR TO PASSENGER DOOR.
I WAS ENTERING A FREEWAY ON AN ENTRANCE. THE CARS IN FRONT ME BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN. I WAS GOING ABOUT 45 MPH. I APPLY BRAKES AND I DIDN'T FEEL A SLOW DOWN. I REACTED BY THEN SLAMMING THE BRAKES AND I WANT SLOWING DOWN. I SWERVED INTO THE SHOULDER HIT THE CONCRETE WALL, THEN HIT ANOTHER CAR FROM THE SIDE THAT WAS ABOUT 4 CARS DOWN AND THEN HIT THE CONCRETE WALL AGAIN. THE ENTIRE TIME I HAD THE BRAKES PRESSED COMPLETELY DOWN. I DID STOP AND I HAD THE BRAKES FLOORED. THE PRESSURE I'M USED TO FEELING WAS NO THERE. NO ONE WAS SERIOUSLY HURT. I TRAVELLED PASSED 6 CARS AND HIT 1. I HAD PLENTY OF TIME AND DISTANCE TO BREAK, I COULDN'T STOP. THERE WERE NO WARNINGS MY BRAKES WERE A PROBLEMS. I HAD JUST REPLACED ALL 4 BRAKES PADS JUDY 2018 AND DID NOT HAVE ANY ISSUES. THE FREEWAY RAMP I ENTERED HAD CONSTRUCTION SO I WAS ENCLOSED AND HAD NO OPTION BUT THE CONCRETE WALL AND THE RAMP WAS ENDING SINCE IT MERGED INTO THE HIGHWAY.

THE STEERING GEAR/RACK WAS REPLACED AND THE FAILURE WAS REMEDIED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 135,000.
THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. TOOK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY FOUND A PINHOLE ON THE TOP OF THE FUEL TANK. THERE WAS A RECALL CONNECTION WITH A PART CAUSING THE FUEL TANK TO CRACK. HOWEVER, I WAS MADE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS AND FORD WILL NOT REIMBURSE ME.
DRIVER'S DOOR DOES NOT OPEN FROM INSIDE. AND POWER LOCK IS STACKED IIN LOCK POSITION. THERE IS A RECALL EXACTLY FOR THIS PURPOSE ON 2013-2017 FUSION WITH THE SAME SYSTEM THAN IN MY 2011 FUSION.
I WAS DRIVING IN A PARKING LOT WHEN THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT. I RECEIVED AN ERROR MESSAGE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT. THIS HAD HAPPENED IN THE PAST AND I WOULD TURN THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON AGAIN AND THE POWER STEERING WOULD RETURN. THIS TIME IT DID NOT WORK. I LOOKED IT UP AND FOUND THAT FORD HAS A RECALL 15S18 ON THIS ISSUE. I TOOK IT TO A FORD DEALER WHERE REPAIRS WERE DENIED UNDER THE RECALL. MY CAR IS A COVERED VEHICLE BUT FORD SAID I EXCEEDED THE MILEAGE REQUIREMENT OF 150,000 MILES BUT I AM UNDER THE 10 YEAR REQUIREMENT. THE ONLY REFERENCE THAT I CAN FIND UNDER NHTSA IS THAT THE VEHICLE MUST BE UNDER THE 10 YEAR REQUIREMENT WITH NO MILEAGE REQUIREMENT. THE FORD DEALER TECHNICIAN REQUESTED A WAIVER OF THE MILEAGE REQUIREMENT PER FORD MOTOR COMPANYS' INSTRUCTIONS. IT WAS DENIED EVEN WHEN THE TECHNICIAN CLEARLY INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE DISPLAYED THE RECALL FAULT CODES. I DROVE AWAY WITHOUT POWER STEERING AND AM CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY AND THE VEHICLES ROAD WORTHINESS. DEALER TECHNICIAN EMAILED COMMENTS TO FORD MOTOR COMPANY AFTER DENIAL " POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT IS DISPLAYED, VEHICLE HAS NO POWER STEERING. EEC TEST FOUND CODES U2011.49, U3999.96 FOR INTERNAL MODULE FAULT. TECH VERIFIED VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE POWER STEERING " DATE 08-21-2019. REPAIRS WILL EXCEED $1,000.00. I DO NOT HAVE A SCANNER AT THIS TIME BUT HAVE RETAINED ALL DOCUMENTS.
WHILE TAKING A ONE LANE EXIT ON THE FREEWAY GOING AT 30 MILES PER HOUR A WRENCH LIGHT CAME ON AND MY CAR COMPLETELY LOSS POWER. THE CAR COASTED UNTIL IT CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. THIS WAS VERY DANGEROUS! I COULD HAVE DIED. YOU GUYS REALLY NEED TO GET ALL OF THERE FORD FUSIONS OFF OF THE ROAD. I COULD NOT ACCELERATE OR BRAKE TO SLOW ON THE FREEWAY. I WAITED 5 MINUTES AND THE CAR TURNED ON WITH NO PROBLEM. MY MECHANIC COULD NOT REPLICATE THE PROBLEM SO HE SAID THERE WAS NO PROBLEM. WHILE LOOKING ONLINE THIS IS A THROTTLE BODY ISSUE. WHICH NEEDS TO BE RECALLED IMMEDIATELY. I CAN'T WORK IF I CAN'T GET THERE WITH A CAR THAT I'VE PURCHASED!!! I REFUSE TO DRIVE THIS CAR!
AFTER READING FORD RECALL 15S18, IT WAS A DEAD RINGER FOR MY PROBLEM. I LOST POWER STEERING WHILE DRIVING AT SPEED (45 MPH) AND NEARLY DIDN'T MAKE A TURN. THE DEALERSHIP CONFIRMED THE ISSUE WAS INDEED THE ISSUE RELATED TO RECALL 15S18 AND DID THE WORK. THEY REPLACED THE STEERING GEAR AND REPROGRAMMED A MODULE EXACTLY AS THE RECALL PRESCRIBED. THE BILL WAS $2450 AND WHEN I BROUGHT UP THE RECALL THEY POINTED TO THE FINE PRINT WHICH SAID THAT THE RECALL WAS GOOD FOR 10 YEARS (WHICH I WAS WITHIN BY 2 YEARS) AND 150,000 MILES. I WAS A MERE 7000 MILES OVER THE LIMIT SO THEY WOULD NOT CLAIM IT UNDER THE RECALL. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF THE RECALL OR I WOULD HAVE HAD IT FIXED. THE CAR HAD BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR YEARS FOR OIL CHANGES AND SERVICE, YET THEY NEVER ONCE THOUGHT TO TELL ME THERE WAS A SAFETY RECALL?!? I CALLED FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SEE IF THEY WOULD BE REASONABLE BUT THEY DENIED ME TOO. A SAFETY RECALL, WHICH IS THE FAULT OF THE ENGINEERING DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE, SHOULD BE COVERED REGARDLESS OF MILEAGE!
BRAKES WENT SPONGY AFTER APPLYING BRAKES ON SUDDEN DOWNHILL CITY STREET. TOOK CAR TO FORD FOR BRAKE INSPECTION. THEY DIAGNOSED PROBLEM AS FAULTY ABS DUMP VALVE. HAD TO HAVE FORD REMOVE AND INSTALL NEW ABS MODULE AND ABS CONTROL MODULE. VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR FOR FAULTY FORD PART.
WHILE STATIONARY, POWER STEERING LOCKS UP AND GIVES ERROR CODE ON DISPLAY. ITS THE SAME PROBLEM DESCRIBED IN RECALL 15S18. IT HAPPENS INTERMITTENTLY. OVER THE LAST 2 MONTHS IT HAS HAPPENED ABOUT 7 TIMES. I HAVE TO SHUT THE CAR OFF THEN BACK ON AND IT WILL FUNCTION CORRECTLY.
TAKATA RECALL- WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF ANY RECALLS. I DO GET A WARNING EVEEY NOW AND THEN THAT THE POWER STEERING IS AFFECTED BUT GOES AWAY AFTER I TURN THE CAR OFF AND ON AGAIN
POWER STEERING WENT OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 40 MILES PH.. ALMOST WRECKED HEAD ON WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE. FOUND THAT THE STEERING WAS RECALLED AND FORD REFUSED TO HELP. GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA ON A STREET BEFORE COMING TO A CURVE.
POWER STEERING HAS GONE OUT. SAW THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 2011 FORD FUSION, BUT FORD WILL NOT COVER MY CAR BECAUSE IT WAS NOT ONE OF THE CARS THEY HAVE RECALLED. IT SEEMS THIS ISSUE SPANS ACROSS THE FUSIONS AND NOT JUST THE CARDS THEY RECALLED. LUCKILY I HAD ONLY GONE A FEW FEET FROM MY DRIVEWAY WHEN IT WENT OUT. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO MOVE MY CAR OUT OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD ROAD AND BACK INTO A PARKING SPOT. ONLY FORD IS ALLOWED TO ORDER THE PART AND CHARGE THEIR PRICES. CHANTILLY FORD DOES NOT EVEN PICK UP THEIR PHONES FOR THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

POWER STEERING FAILURE WHILE MY 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET. LUCKILY THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT ALTHOUGH MY VEHICLES MANUFACTURE DATE FALLS JUST BEFORE FORD RECALL 15S18 LEAVING ME TO PAY FOR A PROBLEM ALL PARTIES HAVE ALREADY AGREED THAT IS FORDS LACK OF ENGINEERING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE. HOW WERE THE DATES DETERMINED THIS RECALL? MY CAR WAS MADE A COUPLE WEEKS EARLIER AND HAS THE EXACT SAME DEFECT AS DESCRIBED IN THE RECALL. THIS RECALL NEEDS TO BE AMENDED TO INCLUDE VEHICLES MANUFACTURED EARLIER.

I'VE NOTICED THAT A CAR THAT I HARDLY DRIVE THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT. WENT ONLNE AND NOTICED THAT FORD HAS A REALL ON POWER STEERING BUT MY CAR ISN'T INCLUDED WHEN ITS OBVIOUSLY EXPERIENCING THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM.
TAMARA RECALL I WENT TO START MY CAR THIS MORNING 08/01/2019 AND MY POWER STEERING ASSIST LIGHT CAME ON AND I HAVE NO POWER STEERING AT ALL TRIED TO DRIVE HOME MADE IT HOME BUT TURNS WERE A PROBLEM AS I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK.
THE CAR IS CONTINUOUSLY REPORTING HIGH TEMPERATURE, WHEN IN FACT THE ENGINE IS WORKING AT NORMAL TEMPERATURE. COOLANT FLUID ARE AT THE CORRECT LEVEL AND MANUAL/VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT DOES NOT SHOW ANY EVIDENCE OF HIGH TEMPERATURE DAMAGE. AFTER REPLACING THE COOLANT SENSOR, THE ECU KEEPS REPORTING THE SAME PROBLEM. OTHER THAN THAT THE CAR WORKS JUST FINE. THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN WHEN THE CAR IS IN MOTION EVEN AFTER A FEW MINUTE OF TURNING IT ON DURING THE MORNING BEFORE THE ENGINE GETS WARM. THE CAR HAS ONLY 24K MILES.
