The engine codes stated that cylinder 3 was misfiring, and all of the spark plugs were replaced. The check engine light went off for a few days and then came on with the same code. Then all of the coil packs were replaced. A few days later the engine light "coolant overheating" came on and the engine started running rough, the computer stated that it was shutting the car down to half power. There were visible signs of coolant sprayed all over the engine. After allowing the car to cool off for 2 hours the car continued to run rough and display coolant overheating. The car was unable to reverse but could go forward. The car was taken to a mechanic and cooling issue codes came up. The cooling system was tested and the water pump was checked before the coolant was found to be leaking into cylinder 3. The OEM back up camera will spontaneously go to a black or blue screen and at times will just say, “back up camera not available”. Being without a back up camera leaves a blind spot where you can’t see small children or pets that are directly behind my car. When it does work the picture displayed is reversed wich can disorient you
My car has been losing power and randomly stalling for a while now. Today as I was driving it was happening more and then suddenly my brake pedal became hard as a rock, and the hill assist warning came up. It keeps stalling and will not remain running for longer than 2-3 minutes of being on. This almost caused me to ram several cars due to not being able to stop quickly enough. No lights came on other than check engine and it has not been inspected as this has only happened today. However the stalling of the car has been going on for about 3 months and I’ve been very pregnant and unable to have it looked at. The loss of power in the car happens and sometimes downshift’s extremely hard causing a loud jerk noise from the underside of the vehicle. Once turned off and turned back on it goes right back to normal until it decides to do it again. It can happen a couple of times or it can happen 100 times within a 5 mile period and I never know when it’s going to happen until it’s actually doing it. Extremely dangerous and I’ve seen several 2015 owners posting about issues of the 2015 brake system/bumper etc. I’ve seen recall talk but this site shows no recalls, please get this issue recalled asap!

TWO PIECE LUG NUTS. DEALER WILL NOT ROTATE TIRES BECAUSE THEY SAY THE LUG NUTS ARE SWELLED AND ARE AFRAID THAT THEY WILL DAMAGE THE LUGS NUTS AND I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO CHANGE THE TIRE IF I HAD A FLAT SINCE MY LUG WRENCH WOULD NOT FIT. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BUY REPLACEMENT NUTS AT $100.00+. FORD SHOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THESE AT NO COST TO ME OR ANYONE ELSE.

Drove the car last on 1/18/2023, no issues with steering whatsoever; never saw a warning light on dash. Then on 1/19/2023, I had to go to work and attempted to make the trip. Upon turning the key the car started but the dash illuminated two warnings. [STEERING-ASSIST FAULT-SERVICE REQUIRED] [SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC] I had not experienced any issues prior to this. Now the cars steering is very difficult to steer. Apparently, some drivers have experienced this while driving, this could be very dangerous and investigated as this could be lethal in certain circumstances. There was a recall for bolts, to my best of knowledge this was fully completed by a local registered Ford dealership. This causes me worry and I think Ford should look into this or at the least perform a complimentary assessment of what is going on and offer some solutions to such an issue that apparently is not uncommon.
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while attempting to roll down the passenger’s and driver's side windows, the windows failed to function as needed. When I went to stop at a stop sign, the brake pedal went all the way to the floor and the car went partially through the stop sign. I was able to pump the brakes and get relatively solid braking, so I drove the two blocks back to my home. Once home, I pumped the brakes approximately 10 times more and the low fluid light came on, indicating a brake leak. Since the brake reservoir was able to empty in approximately 12 pumps, the leak must be relatively severe. The car is approximately 8 years old, has about 125,000 miles on it, has always been serviced by the dealership. About 2 months ago the brakes were inspected and the rear brake pads and rotors were replaced. Thus, there is no reason for a severe brake leak such as this.
My 2015 Ford fusion 1.5 L engine has had problems since 2022. I have been adding antifreeze, changed spark plugs many times, flushed my antifreeze and the vehicle overheats and has had to be towed twice changed out thermostat, spark plugs, coil pack, two times for misfiring coolant housing with no success. Called in a complaint to Ford Motor Co. and they are unwilling to help. They said they put out a bulletin however this does not fix the problem of needing a new engine. I am stuck making payments on a car I cannot drive. My mechanic says it needs a new engine. Never realizing there was a bulletin or a coolant intrusion problem with this engine.
coolant intrusion - excessive coolant consumption, white smoke emitting from tailpipe, spike in engine temperature, engine sputtering and not running correctly.
My Ford fusion has a coolant leak and ford said I need a repair. Price for repair is $9,584.89. It is a known problem with a TSB (see below) Summary This article supersedes TSB 19-2139 to update the production fix date. Issue: Some 2014-2019 Fusion vehicles built on or before 10-Jun-2019 and 2017-2019 Escape vehicles built on or before 08-Apr-2019 equipped with a 1.5L EcoBoost engine may exhibit low coolant level, white exhaust smoke and/or runs rough condition with or without an illuminated malfunction indicator light (MIL) with only diagnostic trouble codes (DICs) P0300, P0301-P0304, P0316, P0217, P1285 and/or P1299 stored in powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to coolant intrusion into the cylinder. To resolve the condition, replace the short block and head gasket.

1. Front passenger brake hose split. 2. While driving the brake hose made an audible pop sound and fluid was released. Had I been driving at a high rate of speed (on an interstate) I could have created a multi-vehicle crash, potentially killing other drivers and, or myself. 3. I have a photo of the split hose. 4. I’ve inspected the issue myself and have photo evidence. It was not difficult to find the malfunctioned part. 5. No warning lamps or notices of failure. I’ve owned several cars, some much older than this current ford fusion and never had this issue with the brake hose. This could have been disastrous. I learned today that NHTSA opened a query into this potential issue in August 2022 and am recommending this be continued or reopened for investigation. This is not something to mess with, brake failure can be lethal.

While driving on a level flat road at approximately 25 MPH, the front right lower A frame assembly snapped and caused the front suspension to drop and the resulting drop caused the front tire to be ripped from its rim. As a result, I briefly lost control and crashed into a parked vehicle. Had this occurred at a higher speed the result would have been disastrous! The lower A-Frame is a thick cast aluminum structure that is approx 11/2" thick where it cracked apart.
