GRINDING NOISE DUE TO TORN CV BOOTS, ALSO CV AXLE CRACKED AND CV BOOTS REPLACED.
OWNER HAD RECALL REPAIR WORK DONE ON 6-11-94 FOR THE BODY MOUNTS, THE VEHICLE IS STILL HAVING THAT PROBLEM, THE SUBFRAME DROPPED, RESULTING IN LOSS OF STEERING. RECALL #93V106000. *AK
AFTER DRIVING SEVENTY MILES PARKED CAR OUTSIDE GARAGE, GOT OUT GAVE FRIEND HER SUIT CASE, GOT BACK INTO VEHICLE AND STARTED IT, PUT FOOT ON BRAKE, PUT IT IN DRIVE AND VEHICLE TOOK OFF UNCONTROLLABLY, PEELED RUBBER AND CRASHED INTO FOUNDATION OF HOUSE . *AK
THE STARTER FAILED THREE TIMES.

RECALL 93V10600 REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED, BOLTS HAVE RUSTED ONCE AGAIN, CAUSING SUBFRAME TO DROP AGAIN. *AK
THE STEERING TIE RODS COME LOOSE FROM THE THREADED ENDS OF THE STEERING RACK GEAR WHEN THE THREADS WEAR OUT FROM CONSTANT SCRUBBING DUE TO IMPROPER FASTENING.
STEERING TIE RODS CAME LOOSE FROM THE ENDS OF THE STEERING RACK DUE TO THREAD FAILURE.
OWNER STATES THAT WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE AT 15 MPH THE BOLTS THAT HOLD TRANSAXLE AND ENGINE MOUNTS BROKE, CAUSING TOTAL STEERING LOSS. OWNER IS VERY CONCERNED FOR SAFETY. *AK
RECALL REPAIR NOT DONE ON SEAT BELT LATCH BECAUSE VIN DID NOT FALL UNDER RECALL.

ENGINE ACCELERATES WHEN THE CAR IS IN MOTION. WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED THE VEHICLE STARTS TO SPEED UP. DEALER CANNOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM. *AKSPARK PLUG WIRES WERE REPLACED BUT ONLY SOLVED THE PROBLEM TEMPORARILY. *NLM

WHEN VEHICLE IS TURNED ON THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT IS CONTINUALLY ON. A RECALL WAS ISSUED ON MODEL/YEAR . VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN UNDER RECALL . OWNER HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER. *AK
THE HORN SENSORS ARE DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. ONLY WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL IS POSITIONED TO THE RIGHT OR LEFT CAN THE HORN BE APPLIED. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK

WHILE DRIVING STEERING WENT OUT/BOLTS, WHICH HOLD STEERING WHEEL IN PLACE, RUSTED OUT, CAUSING STEERING LOSS OF STEERING. CONSUMER IS VERY CONCERNED FOR SAFETY. *AK
WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE MAKES A CLUNKING NOISE AND WHEN GOING AROUND TURNS THE VEHICLE IS HARD TO STEER. THE VEHICLE WANTS TO PULL TO THE RIGHT. WHEN OWNER LOOKED UNDER VEHICLE ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, HE NOTICED THAT THE BOLT IS COMING OUT OF THE MOTOR MOUNT. THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED ABOUT THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THERE IS NO RECALL FOR THIS YEAR. *AK
I AM NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED TO MY COMMENT SO I WILL STATE THEM AGAIN. THE WINDSHEILD WIPERS CUT ON AND OFF WHILE IN OPERATION. YOU MUST CONTINUE TO TAP THE TURN SIGNAL OR TURN THE CONTROL TO KEEP THEM RUNNING. WHAT I FIND DISTURBING IS THAT I HAVE HAD TO DRIVE TWO OTHER FORD TRUCKS A 1993 F-150 AND A 1991 FORD RANGER AND THEY BOTH DO THE SAME THING. I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM MY DAD AND HE TELLS ME IT HAS ALWAYS DONE IT. THE OTHER TWO WHERE BOUGHT USED BUT HAVE ALWAYS DONE IT. IF YOU NEED THE VIN OF THE TAURUS OR F-150 I CAN GET THEM. WHILE DRIVING ACCELERATOR WILL SMASH ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR ON ITS OWN, CAUSING FULL ACCELERATION OF VEHICLE. TO STOP CONSUMER HAS TO APPLY BOTH FEET TO THE BRAKES AND STAND ON THEM TO STOP VEHICLE. DEALER HAS NOT BEEN CONTACTED. *AK

WHILE DRIVING AT 20 MPH VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED TO 60 WHILE CONSUMER WAS APPLYING THE BRAKES TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO AN STOP. CONSUMER PULLED OVER AND PLACED THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL. FINALLY, SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN TO STOP VEHICLE. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK
