CONSUMER EXPERIENCING EXCESSIVE WEAR OF THE FRONT BRAKE ROTORS. ALSO WHEN DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL THERE IS VIBRATION COMING FROM THE FRONT END. CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER, DEALER HAS REPLACED PARTS. PROBLEM STILL OCCURS. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
THE RACK AND PINION HAS FAILED OR BEEN REPLACED 5 TIMES ON MY VEHICLE. FORD ADVISED US TO HAVE THE STRUT PLATES CUT TO KEEP THE VEHICLE IN ALIGNMENT AND THIS DID NOT HELP EITHER BECAUSE THE RACK KEPT GOING OUT FORD MOTOR COMPANY WAS NOTIFIED BUT THEY NEVER RESPONDED TO OUR COMPLAINTS IT IS LIKE THE FORD EXPLORER MAJOR FRONT END PROBLEMS PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY COMMENTS OR SUGGESTIONS!!! I HAVE READ MANY COMPLAINTS FOR THE SAME PROBLEM ON THE INTERNET BUT FORD STILL HAS NOT RECALLED THIS YEAR MODEL. *AK

ABS, WHEN DRIVING AT SPEED OF 50MPH, VIRBRATION WHEN APPLYING BRAKES IN THE FRONT END, IN FOR REPLACEMENT OF DISC ROTORS AND PADS. *AK ALSO FUEL PUMP WAS REPLACED DUE TO CONTAMINATION. *JB
IF BRAKES APPLIED AT 55 MPH, FRONT END SHAKES. *DSH
FRONT DISC ROTORS WARPED, CAUSING VIBRATION WHEN BRAKING.
WHEN COMING UP TO A STOP SIGN AND GOING 30 MPH ON WET PAVEMENT, CONSUMER WENT TO APPLY THE BRAKES AND REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. MOTOR WAS RACING VERY HIGH.THE OTHER DRIVER GOT OUT OF VEHICLE AND TURNED THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE OFF BECAUSE THE CONSUMER WAS HOLDING ONTO THE STEERING WHEEL AND KEPT HER FOOT ON THE BRAKES. *AK
HEADLIGHTS GO OUT WHILE DRIVING; NO APPARENT REASON; WHEN THIS HAPPENS, DRIVER CANNOT SEE ROAD OR TRAFFIC. *AK
ONGOING PROBLEM WITH VARIOUS PARTS FAILING TO WORK PROPERLY. THEY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: ENGINE HEAD GASKET BLOWN/ONE DEAD ENGINE CYLINDER NEEDS REPLACEMENT/ONE ENGINE MOUNT BROKE AND OTHER IS CRACKING/POWER STEERING MAKES GRINDING NOISES WHENEVER WHEEL IS TURNED, AND SEAT BELT ON DRIVER'S SIDE INTERMITTENTLY FAILS TO RETRACT. *AK
WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR FAILED.
