THE CAR RANDOMLY DOES NOT TURN ON WHEN I PRESS THE START BUTTON. NOTHING HAPPENS. IT'S NOT THE KEY FOB EITHER BECAUSE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WORKS IN THE CAR AT THAT POINT. I CAN'T OPEN THE TRUNK USING THE BUTTON INSIDE THE CAR, LOCK OR UNLOCK THE DOORS, NOTHING. THE CAR IS ESSENTIALLY A USELESS HUNK OF METAL. AFTER ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES THOUGH, THE CAR WILL JUST RANDOMLY TURN ON. I DON'T PRESS THE START BUTTON - IT'LL JUST TURN ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS SO FAR.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 GENESIS G80. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO ACCELERATE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. MERIDEN HYUNDAI (318 S BROAD ST, MERIDEN, CT 06450, (203) 235-1669) DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE, BUT DID NOT FIND A FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
TERRIBLE BLIND SPOT RESULTING FROM SIDE MIRRORS AND ROOF PILLARS WHEN TURNING RIGHT OR LEFT. WORSE ON RIGHT TURNS. CAN'T SEE PEDESTRIANS. THE MIRROR AND ROOF PILLAR CREATES A 24 INCH WIDE BLIND SPOT. MAKING IT WORSE IS THE FACT THAT THE POWER SEAT DOESN'T GO HIGH ENOUGH FOR ME TO SEE OVER MIRRORS( I AM 5'8"). NO ACCIDENT, ONLY CLOSE CALLS AND SURPRISES.
The contact owns a 2017 Genesis G80. The contact stated occasionally while shifting into gear, the vehicle jolted, with an abnormal sound coming from underneath the hood. There was no warning light illuminated. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired because the warranty had expired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 HYUNDAI GENESIS G80. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS WERE TURNED TOWARDS THE GROUND WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. THE CONTACT COULD NOT SEE THE ROAD OR OBJECTS AHEAD. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MCCAFFERTY HYUNDAI SALES INC. (1106 E LINCOLN HWY, LANGHORNE, PA 19047, (888) 754-7841 3004), BUT NO FAILURE COULD BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,000.
BOUGHT CAR AS NEW MAY 2018. 1 BLOW OUT AND 4 WOUOD BE BLIWOUTS IF I DIDNT SEE BUBBLE IN TIRES PROBLEMS ARE WITH THE FRONT TIRES 33 PSI IS INCORRECT ON ROAD BALANCE MACHINE I PROVED TIRES ARE UNDER INFLATED. I MADE HYUNDAI AWARE I OWN THE CAR 10 WEEKS IT SAT AT 2 DEALERSHIPS A TOTAL OF 3 WEEKS BETWEEN ORDERING TIRES AND FIGHTING OVER WHO'S PAYING FOR IT. I ASKED MANY TIMES FOR A REGIONAL MGR TO LOOK AT THIS CAR. THEY ARE TOTALLY NEGLIGENT. NOBODY LOOKED AT AND NOBODY DROVE. WHAT THEY SAY IS TIRE MFG SAYS THAT 33 PSI IS BEST PERFORMANCE AND BEST GAS MILAGE. ITS GONNA TAKE A FATALITY FOR SOMEONE TO GET INVOLVED AND CHECK THESE CARS OUT AND I GET THE FACT THAT THERE LOW PROFILE TIRES WHICH MEANS NOTHING. I HAD A 2013 CADILLAC XTS FOR 30 MONTHS AND PUT 65K MILES ON THE CAR WITH NO PROBLEMS. I WAS A. ADDILAC CUSTOMER FOR 20 YEARS AND USED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE ONCE. I HAVE THIS CAR 10 WEEKS USED ROADSIDE 3 TIMES. BOTTOM LINE ITS UNSAFE. FOR SURE THE TIRES ARE UNDER INFLATED ITS A FRONT HEAVY CAR AND PROBABLY THEY SHOULD BE USING A DIFFERENT TIRE IF ANYONE GETS INJURED OR WORSE I SENT HYUANDI PLENTY OF EMAILS AND RECORDED PHONE CONVERSATIONS THERE BEYOND NEGLIGENT TO NOT LOOK AT THIS CAR. AND THEY PROMISE A GENESIS SERVICE LOANER WHEN THE CAR IS IN THE SHOP. NONE OF THESE DEALERSHIPS HAVE THEM. THE GENESIS EXPERIENCE IS THE GENESIS INCONVENIENCE. I HAVE BIG TIME BUYERS REMORSE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 HYUNDAI GENESIS G80. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END COLLISION WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE CONTACT INITIALLY DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL, BUT THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING (AEB) FEATURE DID NOT ACTIVATE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE "CHECK AEB SYSTEM" WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 8,300. *TT *TR
THE OWNER HAS HAD TWO BLOWOUTS IN ABOUT 6 WEEKS. HE GOT THE VEHICLE IN DECEMBER 2017. THIS IS JANUARY 25, 2018 THE CAR CAME WITH CONTINENTAL PROCONTACT 19" 245-45R/19" THE LOAD IS 98W. HIS 2017 G70 HAD ITS TIRES RECALLED. AND CHANGED. I FIND IT VERY SUSPICIOUS THAT ONE CAR HAD TWO BLOWOUTS. I LOVE MY HUSBAND AND I FEEL THAT THIS FACT HAS ENDANGERED HIS LIFE AND I AM ALERTING YOU TO A POTENTIAL SAFETY PROBLEM AND THIS WILL PERHAPS SAVE LIVES. I THINK THAT THE LOAD OF THE CAR IS TOO GREAT OR THE WHEEL BASE IS TOO LONG FOR THE TIRES, BUT I AM NOT AN EXPERT, I AM A WIFE
12/31/2017 1000 AM NEBRASKA TEMPERATURE AROUND -1, WINDCHILL -25-30, LEFT HEATED GARAGE DROVE 40 MILES PARKED THE CAR, FRONT OF THE CAR INTO THE WIND AT A PARKING LOT, RETURN ABOUT 1.5 HOURS LATER AND THE STEERING ASSIST WOULD NOT WORK. APPEARS THE COLD TEMPS EFFECTED THE STEERING SOMEHOW ALSO RECEIVED AN IMMEDIATE WARNING AT START UP TO TAKE CAR TO DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC AND POSSIBLE REPAIR. DEALER IS NOT OPEN UNTIL TUESDAY. MANAGED TO GET HOME PUT BACK IN GARAGE, CHECKED STEERING ASSIST ABOUT 3 HOURS LATER AND THE STEERING ASSIST WAS WORKING.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THERE WAS AN ABNORMALLY LOUD NOISE FROM THE AREA OF THE SUN ROOF, THE SUN ROOF FRACTURED WITH GLASS EMITTING ON THE OUT SIDE AND INNER AREA OF THE VEHICLE WHEN THE FAILURE HAPPENED. THE VEHICLE WAS TO BE SCHEDULED FOR AN APPOINTMENT WITH (TIPTON HYUNDAI, 450 MORRISON RD, BROWNSVILLE, TX 78526, (956) 243-8810 ). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE TO DETERMINE THEIR RECOMMENDED SOLUTION TO REPLACE THE PART AND TO DETERMINE IF A DEALER COULD DIAGNOSE WHAT CAUSED THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,400.
DRIVERS SEAT TRACK HAS PLAY IN SIDE TO SIDE OR FRONT TO BACK MOTION WHEN CORNERING. THIS HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED BY MY LOCAL GENESIS SERVICE PROVIDER. HE SAID" WE TIGHTEN THE TRACKS, SO LET ME KNOW IF IT PERSISTS". (IN WARRANTY PERIOD ;36 MONTHS) IT CONTINUES TO BE AN ISSUE ON CORNERING AND BRAKING.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO HUFFINES HYUNDAI PLANO (LOCATED AT 909 COIT RD PLANO TX 75075 972 468 0458) AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 10099772. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS PROVIDED A LOANER VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,800.
