The contact restarted the vehicle. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V282000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. I was driving and the car just stopped in the middle of the road. I had to turn the car off and restart. Once I did the car wouldn’t get any speed but the RPM would go up to 4 or 5. I finally got the car home and had it towed the next morning. After 9 days in the shop, I was advised it needed a new fuel pump but no ETA on when the car will be repaired.
