I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY IN THE RAIN USING MY WIPERS WHEN THEY STOPPED. THEY NO LONGER WORK. THEY DON'T MOVE AT ALL.
WINDSHIELD WIPERS QUIT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH ON EXPRESSWAY DURING HEAVY RAINSTORM. VERY LIMITED VISIBILITY TO GET OFF THE ROAD AND WAIT FOR RAIN TO STOP. AFTER GETTING TO A SERVICE SHOP I WAS TOLD THE WINDSHIELD WIPER TRANSMISSION HAD FAILED. ONE OF THE TRANSMISSION JOINTS HAD POPPED OPEN
BRAKE FAILURE. THE BRAKE VACUUM PUMP FAILED. I MARKED THE FAILURE AS TODAY AS THE DEALERSHIP CONFIRMED THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED A MONTH OR SO AGO. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN ALL OF TIME.
I WAS DRIVING ON I-85 SOUTH AT ABOUT 55 MPH HEADED TO WORK ON APRIL 19, 2019 DURING A HEAVY RAIN STORM. I WAS DRIVING IN THE HOV PEACH LANE WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, MY WIPER BLADES STOPPED COMPLETELY IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION CAUSING COMPLETE BLINDNESS. I COULD NOT SEE ANY OF THE CARS IN FRONT OF ME AT ALL. SINCE I WAS DRIVING IN THE HOV PEACH LANE (LEFT LANE), I HAD NO SHOULDER TO PULL OVER. MY CAR WAS STILL PARTIALLY ON THE INTERSTATE CAUSING A TRAFFIC JAM AND PEOPLE HAD TO STOP TO GO AROUND ME. I HAD TO CALL THE HERO UNIT TO HELP ME GET TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE INTERSTATE. THE RAIN WAS SO HEAVY, I COULD NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE. I HAD TO GET TOWED TO MY HOUSE. I NEVER MADE IT TO WORK. I NOW FIND OUT THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH THE WIPER UNIT AND MY SAFETY IS NOW COMPROMISED WHEN THERE ARE HEAVY RAINS. THIS WIPER UNIT SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED YEARS AGO. AT THE VERY LEAST, PLEASE RECALL BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED OR HURT.
EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION- 2014 GMC TERRAIN WITH 78,000 MILES IS 'CONSUMING' APPROXIMATELY 1.5-2 QUARTS OF OIL WITH 1500 MILES REMAINING BEFORE NEXT OIL CHANGE IS DUE. THIS HAS OCCURRED OVER THE PAST 3 OIL CHANGES AND SEEMS TO BE TIED INTO A 'TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN' ISSUED TO THE GM DEALERSHIPS BY GENERAL MOTORS.
WAS DRIVING ON A STATE HIGHWAY. UPON TAKING OFF FROM A STOPLIGHT, A HARSH NOISE CAME FROM THE ENGINE, FOLLOWED BY A LOSS OF POWER AND OIL. CAR WAS TOWED TO A SHOP, WAS TOLD METAL SHAVINGS ARE IN THE PAN ANF THE ENGINE WOULD NEED REPLACING
VEHICLE HAD STALLED ONE MORNING IN VERY COLD WEATHER, RESTARTED AND OPERATED FINE WITHOUT ISSUES FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS. A WEEK AGO THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. DIDN'T DRIVE ANYWHERE THAT DAY. NEXT DAY TRIED TO TAKE IT TO MY PREFERRED SHOP BUT COULD ONLY TRAVEL A SHORT DISTANCE TO A LOCAL SHOP. DIAGNOSTICS SHOWED ISSUES WITH INTAKE CAMSHAFT POSITION, FUEL PRESSURE PERFORMANCE, IDLE SPEED LOW AND FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR. HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED, FURTHER INSPECTION SHOWED SEVERAL BROKEN ROCKER ARMS, BASICALLY ENGINE DAMAGE DUE TO TIMING CHAIN ISSUE AND/OR OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE. VEHICLE HAS 147,000 MILES AND HAD VARIABLE VALVE TIMING SOLENOID REPLACED AT 99,000 MILES. HAD EVERY SCHEDULED OIL CHANGE NEVER EXCEEDING MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATION OF 7,500 MILES BETWEEN OIL CHANGES. CAR IS BASICALLY DEAD WITH LITTLE VALUE AT THIS POINT. GENERAL MOTORS REFUSED TO ASSIST WITH THIS. *TR
WE WERE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH IN A HEAVY RAIN. THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPPED WORKING. WE HAD TO PULL OVER QUICKLY BUT DO TO VERY LOW VISIBILITY THIS WAS DIFFICULT. WE WAITED UNTIL THE RAIN STOPPED AND DROVE HOME. UPON INSPECTION WE DETERMINED THAT THE LINKAGE OF THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR MECHANISM HAD BROKEN.
2014 GMC TERRAIN WITH 66,000 MILES STALLING OUT WHEN SLOWING/STOPPING, LOW ACCELERATION, LOUD ENGINE. DEALER SAYS OIL IS LOW WHEN IT WAS JUST REPLACED 2 MONTHS (2,700 MILES) AGO. CANNOT DETERMINE WHY VEHICLE IS CONSUMING MORE OIL THAN WHAT GM ALLOWS.
MY ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. FELT LIKE THERE WAS SLIGHT EXHAUST SMELL LEAKING IN THE CABIN BECAUSE HAD A HEADACHE DRIVING HOME AND DRIVING TO DEALERSHIP. ALSO, NOTICED BLACK OIL OR WET SOOT INSIDE MY TAILPIPE AFTER I PARKED IT AND CHECKED IT. STANLEY CHEVROLET TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A BAD TIMING CHAIN BEATING AGAINST ENGINE CAUSING A GAS SMELL AND QUOTED ME OVER 2 GRAND TO REPAIR.
MY CAR ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND THE CAR KEEPS CUTTING OFF WHEN I STOP OR WHEN I GET READY TO DRIVE. I TOOK MY CAR TO THE MECHANIC AND HE IS TELLING ME IS THE CAMSHAFT THAT THESE CARS HAVE ALOT OF COMPLAINTS FOR THIS. MY CAR HAS LESS THAN 52K MILES. I DON'T DRIVE MY CAR A LOT. THIS IS HORRIBLE THAT THIS IS HAPPENING SO SOON.
I WAS DRIVING MY 2014 GMC TERRAIN WITH APPROXIMATELY 85,000 MILES WHEN I NORMALLY PRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE ANTILOCK BRAKES ACTIVATED UNEXPECTEDLY. MY DASHBOARD TOLD ME THE STABILITY TRACK NEEDED SERVICE. I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO GET REPAIRED AND THEY FOUND A SPEED SENSOR AND IT'S CONTACT ON THE HUB WERE BAD. COST TO REPLACE HUB APPROX $350
IT HAPPENED AGAIN, IN A SNOW STORM MY WIPERS SUDDENLY QUIT WORKING. LAST TIME IT WAS THE BUSHING OR WHATEVER HAD POPPED OUT, I ASSUME IT'S THE SAME THIS TIME. I WAS ON MY WAY TO WORK IN BLIZZARD LIKE CONDITIONS, POOR HIS ABILITY AND DANGEROUS ROAD CONDITIONS.
WHILE DRIVING HOME ON 1/19/2019 IN RAIN MY WIPERS QUIT WORKING.. COULD HEAR WIPER MOTOR STILL RUNNING BUT WIPER BLADES NOT MOVING. LUCKLY I WAS CLOSE TO HOME OR I COULD HAVE HAD A SERIOUS PROBLEM. I AM ASSUMING SOMETHING BROKE AS I HAVE NOT GOTTEN THEM REPAIRED YET. PLANNING ON GETTING WITH DEALER TO GET THEM FIXED...
I'VE TOOK IT TO CAR SHOP AND THEY SAID IT'S BURNING OIL. I HAVE TO GET OIL CHANGES EVERY 2500 MILES, AND IT'S LOW AFTER 2 WEEKS. I'VE CONSTANTLY ADDING OIL AND CHECK IT BETWEEN OIL CHANGES. THIS IS MY FIRST GMC AND I'M NOT TOO HAPPY ABOUT THIS ISSUE I'M HAVING. 104561 MILEAGE AND ENGINE LIGHT JUST CAME ON THIS WEEK. I'M VERY SCARE AND I CAN'T AFFORD ANOTHER ENGINE. IT'S TICKING LOUD AND MAKES NOISE WHEN I ACCELERATE. I ONLY WORK LESS THAN 5 MILES FROM HOME AND THIS IS JUST CRAZY.
MY CAR IS BURNING OIL RAPIDLY. IT IS CAUSING ISSUES TO OUR CARS ENGINE. JUST HAD MY OIL CHANGED 1500 MILES AGO AND HAD TO DO IT AGAIN. ENGINE IS VERY LOUD AND MECHANIC SAYS MOTOR NEEDS WORK DONE TO IT AT A PRICE OF $1500.
MY AIR BAG / SEAT BELT KEEP LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON . CODE B001B AIR BAG PASSENGER SEAT ANCHOR PRETENSION DEPLOYMENT LOOP. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SAFETY HAZARD THAT SHOULD HAVE A RECALL.
BLIND SPOT SENSORS IN THE MORRORS ARE ALWAYS LIGHTING UP WITH NOTHING TO SET THEM OFF.GM SAYS THERE IS NO FIX AND THEY KNOW OF THIS PROBLEM WITH THE ACADIA
28 DEC 2018 MY WIFE WAS DRIVING HOME DURING RAIN STORM ON RT 80 WEST BOUND APX EXIT 12 NJ DRIVERS SIDE WIPER ASSEMBLY / LINKAGE FELL APART . VISIBILITY WAS ZERO, WAS ABLE TO PULL OFF OF HIGHWAY. LOCAL REPAIR STATION VERIFIED LINKAGE FAILED, WAS UNABLE TO REPAIR DUE TO LACK OF PARTS. WE CONTACTED DEALER AND HAVE SCHEDULED REPAIR FOR 31 DEC. HAVE REQUESTED THE DEALER REVIEW FAILURE AND SUBMIT REPORT OF FAILURE TO GMC AND NHTSA. SITUATION WAS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, HAD NO PRIOR INDICATION OF PENDING FAILURE, RESEARCH AFTER THE FAILURE HAS INDICATED REPORTED INCREASED ISSUES OF THIS TYPE WITH THIS MY AS WELL AS OTHERS MY'S.
WHILE DRIVING IN A SNOW STORM MY WIPERS SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING. THEY ARE MOVEABLE BY HAND, BUT DO NOT ENGAGE AT ALL WHEN TURNED ON. IT SOUNDS LIKE MOTOR ENGAGES, BUT WIPERS DO NOT MOVE.
STOPPED AT A LIGHT AND CAR JUST STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. PUT THE CAR ON PARK AND PUT MY BLINKERS ON. LOOKED AT DASHBOARD AND NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. TURNED CAR OFF AND ON THEN IT STARTED TO DRIVE BUT STALLED 4 MORE TIMES AFTER I CAME TO A FULL STOP AT A LIGHT. USED THE FIXD APP AND IT DETECTED 1 PROBLEM CODE P0011 INTAKE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR AND THE TEST TURNED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON AND EXPLAINED THAT VARIABLE VALVE/CAMSHAFT TIMING IN THE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE CONTROL THE INTAKE AND EXHAUST GASES IN AND OUT OF THE GAS COMBUSTION CHAMBER. SENSOR SHOULD LAST AS LONG AS YOUR CAR BUT CAN BECOME DAMAGED DUE TO WEAR AND TEAR BUT MY CAR ONLY HAS 93000 HWY MILES AND IS ONLY 4 YRS OLD.
AROUND 90,000 MILES THE ENGINE BEGAN BURNING OIL. I HAD TO ADD OIL EVERY 2,000 MILES. AT 101,000 MILES RADIATOR FAILED. AT 123,000 MILES THE ENGINE COMPLETELY FAILED. THE MECHANICS AT GM DEALERSHIP COULD NOT EXPLAIN IT. THEY SAID IT APPEARED THAT THE ENGINE WAS BURNING OIL. I HAD TO SPEND $7,000 TO REPLACE ENGINE AND ADDITIONAL PARTS THAT WERE DAMAGED DUE TO THE ENGINE FAILURE. I HAVE SEEN MANY REPORTS ABOUT THE ENGINES FOR THIS MODEL AND YEAR BURNING OIL WITH NO ACTION OR RECALL FROM GM. ONCE MORE OWNERS HIT 100,000 MILES, I BELIEVE THAT THERE WILL BE MORE REPORTS OF THIS ENGINE ISSUE. HOPEFULLY GM WILL THEN RESPOND AND ISSUE A RECALL.
WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPPED WORKING IN THE MIDDLE OF A RAINSTORM IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION. MAKING VISIBILITY VERY LOW. HAD TO PULL THE CAR OVER AND WAIT UNTIL THE RAIN STOPPED. MOTOR IS STILL MAKING NOISES BUT CASE SEEMS TO BE SIMILAR OR THE SAME AS THE RECALL ON THE 2013 GMC TERRAINS. POSSIBLE CORROSION OF THE LINKAGE. ACCIDENT WAS ALMOST CAUSED BECAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT.

THE EMISSIONS WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TWIN CITY BUICK GMC (3046 ALCOA HWY, ALCOA, TN 37701(865) 970-2977) AND THE CAMSHAFT SENSOR WAS REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. ADDITIONALLY, THE TIMING BELT MALFUNCTION AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TIMING BELT AND CAMSHAFT WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIPER BLADES FAILED, BUT THE WIPER MOTOR WAS STILL OPERABLE. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE LOCAL DEALER (BRUCE LOWERY, 711 SOUTHWEST RT. 820, FORT WORTH, TX) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
WHILE DRIVING ON HWY 121 IN A HEAVY RAINSTORM MY WIPERS FROZE! THE RIGHT WIPER ARMS STOPPED AT 12 O CLOCK POSITION RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY VIEW WHILE THE LEFT ARM STOPPED OFF TO MY FAR LEFT AT APPROX 9 OCLOCK POSITION STICKING OUT PAST MY DRIVER SIDE MIRROR!!!I HAD TO PULL OVER TO SHOULDER AND MANUALLY PLACE ARMS IN FLAT (OFF) POSITION. I CALLED AAA TO TOW ME TO SAFETY. I CHECKED FUSES, THEY WERE FINE AND WIPER MOTOR ALSO RUNNING BUT ARMS WILL NOT MOVE FOR FRONT WIPERS AT ALL. REAR WIPER STILL FUNCTIONING.

OIL CONSUMPTION TESTING BEGAN 6/12 A WEEK LATER CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME OUT. BROUGHT MY TERRAIN BACK TO GMC FOR THEM TO TELL ME THAT THE TIMING CHAIN NEEDS TO BE REPLACED DUE TO THE OIL CONSUMPTION PROBLEMS. HAVING SEVERAL PROBLEMS SINCE SUCH AS JERKING, AND STALLING THAT I DID EXPRESS TO GMC OVER THE PAST COUPLE WEEKS, WHICH IS DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM THE GMC TO GET MY SUV FIXED ALMOST 40 PLUS DAYS LATER
MENU SCREEN IN MY 2014 GMC TERRAIN GO BLANK ABOUT 5 TIMES NOW AND I AM STARTING TO WONDER WHAT THE ISSUE IS. THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM AND IT IS NOT DUE TO THE BLUTOOTH OR GPS REDIRECTING. THIS ALSO MADE MY CAR COMPLETELY SHUT OFF AT A DRIVE THRU.
DRIVING IN RESIDENTIAL AREA WHILE HEAVY RAIN WAS PRESENT WIPERS STOPPED WORKING SUDDENLY AND STOPPED UP ON WINDSHIELD. I WAS UNABLE TO SEE AND HAD TO PULL OVER UNTIL RAIN CLEARED UP.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 GMC TERRAIN. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE HORN FAILED TO WORK. THE DEALER (PENSKE CADILLAC OF SOUTH BAY, 18600 SOUTH HAWTHORNE BLVD, TORRANCE, CA 90504) DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUSE WAS BLOWN DUE TO A SHORT. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,885.
I HAVE A 2014 GMC TERRAIN SLT THAT WHEN THE LIFT GATE IS OPENED IT GOES ALL THE WAY OPEN, DROPS CLOSED ABOUT 1/4 OF THE WAY AND THEN OPENS FULLY AGAIN, THEN WITH POWER CLOSES-SLAMS SHUT. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED 3 DAYS AGO, IT HIT ME IN THE HEAD AND KNOCKED ME TO THE GROUND. I CALLED DEALER WHERE I PURCHASED IT FROM AND THE TECK THERE SAID THERE WERE NO NOTED PROBLEMS OR RECALLS FOR THE "TERRAIN" MODELS AND I SHOULD COME IN AND JUST HAVE BOTH THE LEFT SIDE ACTUATOR AND THE RIGHT SIDE GAS STRUT REPLACED. THIS INITIALLY HAPPENED IN MY DRIVEWAY WITH THE CAR IN PARK AND ENGINE OFF. HAS ALSO HAPPENED WITH THE CAR IN MY DRIVEWAY WITH ENGINE RUNNING.
WHEN SHIFTING CAR FROM DRIVE TO PARK KEY WILL NOT TURN ALL THE WAY AND WILL NOT COME OUT IGNITION. HAVE TO DISCONNECT BATTERY FOR KEY TO COME OUT. IF LEAVE KEY IN IGNITION DASH BOARD LIGHTS STAYS ON AND BATTERY CHARGE WILL GO DOWN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 GMC TERRAIN. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING AND THE ABS INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED. LANCE BUICK GMC IN MANSFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND SCHEDULED A DIAGNOSTIC APPOINTMENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,900.
WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE IN HEAVY RAIN WIPERS STOPPED WORKING. SINCE RAIN WAS SO HEAVY IT WAS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE WITHOUT THE WIPERS. AFTER PULLING OVER TO SIDE OF ROAD THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO NEAREST DEALER WHERE THE WIPER MODULE WAS REPLACED DUE TO FAILURE.

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CODE FOR DEF HEATER FAILURE. POSSIBLE LIMP MODE EFFECT IN TRAFFIC.
WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE SPORADICALLY JERKS. I'VE TAKEN IT TO GET FIXED AT WILLIAMS CHEVROLET 3 TIMES (1) IN FEB 2018, I WAS TOLD THE VEHICLE NEEDED TO BE FLUSHED, BOTH THE FLUSH AND 2 DAYS LATER THE TRUCK JERKED AGAIN, TOOK IT BACK AGAIN IN FEB 2018 THE MECHANIC RODE WITH ME IN THE VEHICLE AND HE FELT THE JERK, THIS TIME I WAS TOLD TO USE HIGH OCTANE GAS WELL I DO USE HIGH OCTANE GAS, LEFT AND THE CAR JERKED TOOK IT BACK A 3RD TIME P, MAR. 2018 AND WAS THEN TOLD THE VEHICLE HAD A SENSOR UPDATE, THEY CLAIMED THE UPDATE WAS DONE AND I WOULD HAVE NO MORE ISSUES. IT'S NOW DECEMBER 2018 AND THE VEHICLE IS STILL JERKING SPORADICALLY. THIS VEHICLE HERE LOCAL DRIVING ON THE STREETS AND WHEN TRAFFIC IS SLOW ON THE HIGHWAY WITH STOP AND GO TRAFFIC IT JERS AS WELL SPORADICALLY.

THE HEADLAMP BULBS WERE REPLACED WITH BRIGHTER BULBS; HOWEVER, THE REPLACEMENT FAILED TO REMEDY THE ISSUE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,678.
TAKATA RECALL WHEN DRIVING MY VEHICLE SAID OIL PRESSURE WAS LOW AND JUST SHUT OFF. LOST ALL OIL. MECHANIC SAID IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE PCV VALVE. THIS HAPPENED WHEN DRIVING AND HAPPENED FAST WITH NO WARNING.
I HAVE HAD MY VEHICLE SINCE NOVEMBER OF 2016. SHORTLY AFTER I BOUGHT IT THE CHECK AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. I TOOK IT TO THE DEAL SINCE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THEY REPLACED SOMETHING. THIS 'FIX' ONLY LASTED FOR A LITTLE WHILE. THE LIGHT COMES ON ALL THE TIME NOW. WHEN I TOOK IT BACK TO HAVE THEM LOOK AT IT THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE ME A FEE SINCE IT IS PAST THE WARRANTY. IF THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME. I ALSO DON'T FEEL THAT THIS SHOULD BE MY RESPONSIBILITY TO FIX SINCE IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE.
2 and a 1/2 months after I bought my 2014 GMC Terrain used. It had no oil in it. I had to put pretty much a whole new engine in that cost me $5000
The actuator that controls the blend door / recirculation door (moves the air from defrost to floor to vent) does not last more than a year in my vehicle. I see on the GMC Terrain forums that it is a common problem. It is a danger when defrost is needed on the windshield, and it doesn't work.
PLUGGED PVC ORIFICE IN INTAKE MANIFOLD. PVC ORIFICE WAS PLUGGED DUE TO COLD WEATHER AND WAS FILLED WITH ICE AND OTHER SLUDGE. THIS CAUSED PRESSURE TO BUILD AND BLOW THE REAR CRANKSHAFT MAIN BEARING SEAL. THIS CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO LOSE ALL OIL AND SUBSEQUENTLY STALL. ENGINE STALL OCCURRED WHILE VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN AND WITHOUT ANY WARNING.
THE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM (INCLUDING BACK UP CAMERA, AUDIO, NAVIGATION, TEMP DISPLAY, ETC.) FREEZES OR THE SCREEN GOES BLACK. YOU CAN NOT USE THE AUDIO CONTROLS AT ALL. YOU CAN STILL ADJUST CLIMATE CONTROLS, BUT CAN NOT SEE THE DISPLAY. THE BACK UP CAMERA HAS EVEN BEEN STUCK ON WHILE NO LONGER IN REVERSE AND DRIVING FORWARD. HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL DIFFERENT TIMES, NO INDICATION TO THE CAUSE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 GMC TERRAIN. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH IN THE RAIN, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPPED WORKING WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT CALLED RICK HENDRICK CHEVROLET BUICK GMC AT (804)-793-9305 (LOCATED AT 12050 W BROAD ST, RICHMOND, VA 23233) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPER LINKAGE WAS FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 96,000.
I JUST HIT 105K ON MY VEHICLE AND THE INTAKE CAMSHAFT POSITION TIMING IS CAUSING MY SUV TO SHUT OFF WHILE STOPPED. I WAS PULLED HALFWAY INTO A MAJOR HIGHWAY WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN I WENT TO TAKE OFF AND THE ENGINE DIED. I TRIED TO SEE IF THERE WAS MAYBE A RECALL BUT I DID NOT FIND ONE FOR MY VIN NUMBER. ANYONE ELSE'S CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON AND THROWING THIS CODE?
WIPER TRANSMISSION BALL SOCKET FAILURE. DRIVING IN HEAVY RAIN AND IT ALMOST CAUSED ME TO WRECK. THIS HAS BEEN RECALLED IN CANADA BUT NOT IN THE USA. IT IS THE SAME PART AND THE TERRAINS ARE ALL MADE IN CANADA....RIDICULOUS!!!1

THE FUEL PUMP NOZZLE DOESN'T STAY CONNECTED TO THE VEHICLE DURING REFUELING. FUEL SPILLS ON THE GROUND OR ON YOUR PERSON AND RISK OF SPARK WHEN THE PUMP NOZZLE HITS THE GROUND IN A PUDDLE OF GAS.
