TAKATA RECALL. THERE IS NO RECALL ON THIS MODEL, ACCORDING TO YOUR WEBSITE. HOWEVER, AN INTERMITTENT "SIDE AIRBAG" WARNING APPEARS MOST TRIPS, THEN DISAPPEARS FOR A WHILE. THE LOCAL HONDA DEALER CHECKED AND SAID THERE ARE NO RECALLS FOR SIDE AIRBAGS; THEREFOR THERE WILL BE A REPAIR CHARGE FOR ANALYSIS AND'/OR REPAIR. WHEN THE WARNING DOES COME ON IT TYPICALLY WILL START WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED TO "START" AND STAYS ON FOR SOME TIME, BUT MAY GO OFF BEFORE THE TRIP IS ENDED.

I'VE BEEN NOTICING MY AIRBAG LIGHT CONTINUED TO COME ON AND OFF. I RECEIVED THIS LETTER IN THE MAIL CONCERNING THE AIRBAGS. I JUST WANT TO FEEL SAFE IN MY CAR. THE CAR WAS STATIONARY THEN I BEGIN TO MOVE; THE AIRBAG COMES ON CONSTANTLY.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2004 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, A BMW CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK, BACK, AND LEG, WHICH DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FIELD. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 200,000.

THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000.
HEADS LIGHTS DIM AS I DRIVE IN CITY STREETS. HONDA HAS A SERVICE BULLETIN ON THIS BUT NEVER DID A RECALL ON HONDAS 2003 TO 2005. THE ELD HAS A FAULTY SOLDER JOINT. THIS IS WHAT THE HONDA FACTORY SERVICE BULLETIN STATES. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AT NIGHT. PART IS OVER $550.00 PLUS LABOR.
THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE TORQUE CONVERTORS FOR 2004 HONDA ACCORDS BUT I CANNOT GET ANYONE TO FIX MY HONDA'S TORQUE CONVERTOR UNDER THE RECALL
I AM NOTICING AIRBAG SYMBOL POPPING UP OFTEN, NOT SURE WHETHER IT IS PROBLEM WITH AIRBAG OR COMPUTER PART FAULTY THAT MAKES THE AIRBAG TO NOT FUNCTION. EITHER WAY IT IS A SAFETY CONCERN AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED BY THE MANUFACTURER.

THE CONTACT CALLED LOCAL DEALERS, MIKE PIAZZA HONDA LOCATED ON 1908 E OLD LINCOLN HWY, LANGHORNE, PA, 019047 AND HAMILTON HONDA LOCATED AT 655 US-130, HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY, 08691, WHERE IT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WERE NO OPEN RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE AND THAT HE COULD BRING THE VEHICLE IN TO BE DIAGNOSED BUT THERE WOULD BE A DIAGNOSTIC FEE. THE CONTACT WAS UN-PLEASED DUE TO THE LAST TIME THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED FREE PER THE SAME FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THE SAME INFORMATION AS THE DEALERS WITH NO ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE OFFERED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 156,000.
I WAS DRIVING ON AN EXPRESS WAY, AND ALL OF SUDDENLY THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT ENGAGE AND SLIP TO NEUTRAL WHILE MY ENGINE REV UP TO HIGHER RPM. MY SPEED LIMIT WENT FROM 50 TO ALMOST ZERO, BUT LUCKILY TRAFFIC WAS LIGHT AND I WAS ABLE TO MOVE TO THE SHOULDER SAFELY. SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY SON A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO. I HAD MY TRANSMISSION FLUID CHANGED YESTERDAY HOPING THIS WILL PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN.
WHAT IS GOING ON??? HOW CAN HONDA TAKE ZERO RESPONSIBLY FOR THIS? MY CAR IS IN GREAT CONDITION MECHANICALLY BUT THE OUTSIDE IS SO ROUGH. THE PAINT IS PEELING EVERYWHERE, TERRIBLE ON MY HOOD, ROOF AND TRUNK. THIS IS NOT NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. THIS IS AN ISSUE! HELP PLEASE!

WE BOUGHT A CAR FROM A CAR DEALER AND AFTER PURCHASING WE GOT A CAR FACTS AND IT SAYS THE MILEAGE IS WRONG AND INACCURATE IN STATE OF CALIFORNIA IT HAS A BRANDED TITLE BUT IT DOESN'T IN OREGON OREGON BUT IT SHOULD THE MILEAGE IS CONFLICTING IT'S NOT CORRECT ACCORDING TO MULTIPLE CAR HISTORY SITES IT SAYS 147K BUT ENGINE SAYS 151K AND CAR FACTS HAS MILEAGE STATED AS HIGH AS 208K
TRANSMISSION SLIPPING AND GRINDING. TOOK IT TO OUR TRUSTED MECHANIC AND HE SAID THE TRANSMISSION IS FAILING AND HAS TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 128,000 MILES. THERE WAS A NHTSA RECALL #: 04V176000 FOR 2003/2004 HONDAS DUE TO TRANSMISSION FAILURE WHICH COULD LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT. I CONTACTED HONDA AND THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO HELP.
I'M DRIVING 427 SOUTH (TORONTO) LATE EVENING, AND I APPROACH SOMEONE WHO IS DRIVING 80 KM/HR, SO I DECIDE TO OVERTAKE THE CAR. I CHANGE A LANE, ACCELERATE FOR COUPLE SECONDS, AND WHEN I RELEASE A GAS PEDAL, MY CAR DOESN'T SLOW DOWN, IT CONTINUES TO ACCELERATE ON ITS OWN, AND ENGINE IS RUNNING VIOLENTLY, IT REACHES MAX RPMS (I THINK IT'S 5000 RPMS), AND THAN A COMPUTER DROPS RPMS DOWN. SO, NOTHING IS PRESSING A GAS PEDAL, AND THE ENGINE PULLING LIKE CRAZY, CAR IS ACCELERATING, AND HIGHWAY IS OVER IN 5 SECONDS. I TOUCH A GAS PEDAL - IT IS SOFT, BUT IT'S SPRINGING BACK WHEN I RELEASE IT, AND THERE IS NO A BOTTLE OR A CARPET STUCK IN BETWEEN, I CHECK CRUSE CONTROL - IT IS NOT ON, SO I PRESS BRAKES AND TRY TO SLOW DOWN THE CAR WITH BRAKES WHICH IS NOT EASY BECAUSE THE ENGINE IS STILL RUNNING ON MAX RPMS AND PULLING A CAR, YOU CAN FEEL IT. SO, I STOP EVENTUALLY AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE. THE NEXT DAY I CHECKED UNDER THE HOOD FOR THE PROBLEM, AND I DISCOVERED THE NEXT. THERE IS A PART OF A CAR CALLED A THROTTLE, THAT REGULATES AIR INTAKE IN THE ENGINE, AND THIS WAY SPEED OF ENGINE IS REGULATED TOO. THE THROTTLE IS REGULATED BY TWO CABLES. ONE CABLE (NOT A WIRE) GOES FROM A GAS PEDAL, AND IT'S ATTACHED TO A METAL BRACKET ON A THROTTLE. ANOTHER CABLE (NOT A WIRE) GOES FROM CRUISE CONTROL, AND IT'S ATTACHED TO A PLASTIC BRACKET ON A THROTTLE. SO, PLASTIC DETERIORATED OVER TIME, AND CRUISE CONTROL CABLE BROKE OFF AND JAMMED THE THROTTLE ON THE MAX OPENING WHEN I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. I THINK HONDA HAS TO DO A RECALL TO FIX THIS SITUATION BECAUSE IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE. WHEN SOMETHING BRAKES IN YOUR CAR AND YOU CANNOT START A CAR, OR WHEN SOMETHING STARTS SQUEAKING OR RATTLING, AND YOU HAVE TIME TO GO TO A MECHANIC TO FIX IT - IT'S ONE STORY, BUT WHEN YOU DRIVE AND YOU CAR ACCELERATES ON IT'S OWN - IT'S A DIFFERENT STORY.
BOTH FRONT WIPERS STOP WORKING INTERMITTENTLY DURING A RAIN OR SNOW STORM. NOTHING SOLVES THE PROBLEM - E.G. CHANGING FROM ON/OFF/HIGH/MEDIUM/INTERMITTENT. TURNING LIGHTS AND FAN OFF DOESN'T HELP. THE WIPERS STOP MOVING AT RANDOM POSITIONS, SOMETIMES STOPPING FOR A FEW SECONDS, TO MINUTES. NOTE THAT BOTH WIPERS STOP WORKING TOGETHER; THEY EITHER BOTH ARE MOVING OR BOTH STOPPED. THIS HAS HAPPENED DURING DRIVING (ON HIGHWAY AND CITY) IN AT LEAST 2 RAIN STORMS AND ONE SNOW STORM, WITHIN THE LAST 5 YEARS. MY ONLY RECOURSE HAS BEEN TO TRY TO LOOK OUT THE SIDE WINDOW, BECAUSE I HAVE ABOUT 10% VISIBILITY THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD. I AM VERY LUCKY TO HAVE NOT CRASHED. NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM IS HARD TO REPRODUCE - THE WIPERS NORMALLY WORK, EXCEPT WHEN I ACTUALLY NEED THEM. I REFUSE TO DRIVE THIS CAR WITH RAIN OR SNOW IN THE FORECAST. 2 DEALERS HAVE LOOKED AT IT AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG. I HAVE ALSO HAD THE BATTERY CHANGED.

I IN FACT HAD ALL THE AIRBAGS REPLACED IN SEPTEMBER 2016 DUE TO A RECALL NOTICE AND NEVER EVEN KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS 2004 RECALL! THANKS HONDA!!! DO THE NEW AIRBAGS NOT TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER THIS RECALL? CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE THIS OFF OF THE NHTSA WEBSITE SO I CAN SELL MY CAR?
AS IM DRIVING WITH MY FOOT ON THE GAS PEDDAL I START HEARING A SOUND LIKE TRANSMISSION IS SPINNING AND POWER STEERING NOSIE ONCE IT WARMS UP THE NOSIE STOPS WHILE ON THE STREET AND ON THE HIGHWAY ALSO.
TAKATA RECALL : WARNING LIGHT ON DASHBOARD INDICATES THE SIDE AIRBAGS ARE OFF
THE CAR WAS JUST AMAZING WHEN I BOUGHT IT. EVEN THO I PURCHASED IT USED I WENT STRAIGHT TO A SERVICE SHOP HAD THE OIL CHANGED AND COMPLETE TUNE UP DONE EXPECTING TO ENJOY THIS CAR I HAVE ALWAYS HEARD GREAT THINGS ABOUT. THE FIRST COUPLE MONTHS WERE GREAT, NO WORRIES. THEN IT SEEMS LIKE OUT OF NO WHERE I NOTICED A SLIGHT DIFFERENCE IN THE WAY IT DROVE, JUST THE COMPLETE FEELING OF THE CAR WAS DIFFERENT. THE NEXT DAY I WENT OUT TO EAT AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED HARD. OKAY I THOUGHT JUST NEED TO PAY ATTENTION, THAT NIGHT WHEN HEADING TO THE STORE IS WHEN IT BECAME CONSTANT, SHIFTING FROM DRIVE TO REVERSE A HARD SHIFT, FROM 1TO2 SLIP 2TO3 SLIP, THEN ONCE IT HEATED UP STOPPED. TODAY IS THE SECOND DAY OF HAVING TO DRIVE IT AND THE LIGHT FOR THE ENGINE CAME ON. THE CAR HAS ONLY 160,000 MILES ON IT, SUPPOSEDLY STILL IN ITS PRIME ACCORDING TO EARLY HONDA OWNERS, MY COUSIN HAD A EARLY 90'S MODEL ACCORD I KNOW LIVED TO ALMOST 300,000 ON THE SAME ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION. WHAT MAKES THIS GENERATION NOT ACCOUNTABLE OR NOT AS WORTHY OF THE SAME QUALITY THAT HAS GIVEN HONDA THE LOYALTY OF CUSTOMERS IT HAS NOW. THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO TURN A BLIND EYE ON THIS PROBLEM, KNOWING THAT THESE PROBLEMS ARE A SELF INFLICTED AND THE DIRECT RESULT OF CHEAP PARTS AND A DESIGN FLAW THEY ALLOWED TO BE MASS PRODUCED KNOWING, THE "CERTAINTY" OF MASS FAILURE IT WOULD CREATE AFTER THE WARRANTY FREEING THEM OF LIABILITY. LEAVING THE DEDICATED CUSTOMERS, THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE HELPED HONDA BUILD THERE FOOT HOLD ON THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY IN THE USA, IN THE WIND. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE, THE ACCOUNTABILITY, KNOWINGLY PRODUCING A PRODUCT THAT'S DESIGN IS INADEQUATE, KNOWING DUE TO IMPROPER FLUID CONTROL OR LACK OF PROPER FLUID FLOW WILL UNDOUBTEDLY CAUSE FAILURE OF THE POWERTRAIN. HOW IS IT NOT CRIMINAL WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY I THOUGHT PRODUCING PRODUCTS WHICH U KNOW ARE DEFAULT IS ILLEGAL. *TR
I WAS ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK, EXITING THE DOWNTOWN AREA AND ENTERING THE FREEWAY, WHEN THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPED OUT OF GEAR. THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT RE-ENGAGE WITHOUT MOVING THE SHIFTER DOWN TO THE D3 GEAR FIRST. I WAS ABLE TO LIMP THE CAR USING THIS METHOD TO THE NEAREST TRANSMISSION REPAIR SHOP. THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPED OUT OF GEAR SEVERAL MORE TIMES ON THE DRIVE TO THE REPAIR FACILITY. IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A FAULTY THIRD CLUTCH AND A REPAIR ESTIMATE OF $3200-3400 FOR A REBUILT TRANSMISSION. I CHOSE A DIFFERENT REPAIR SHOP, WITH AN EQUALLY GOOD REPUTATION, AND HAD THE TRANSMISSION REBUILT FOR $2700. IT HAS BEEN BACK TO THE SAME REPAIR SHOP 3 TIMES AFTER THE REBUILD WITH SIMILAR SYMPTOMS. THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE RECURRING SLIPPAGE. RESEARCH REVEALS THAT HUNDREDS OF OTHER HONDA ACCORD OWNERS HAVE ENCOUNTERED THE SAME ISSUE OF TRANSMISSION FAILURE. IT APPEARS TO BE THE SAME PARTS FAILING IN A MAJORITY OF INSTANCES. THE TRANSMISSION WILL SLIP OUT OF GEAR FROM A DEAD STOP, IN MOTION AT SLOW SPEEDS OR MODERATE SPEEDS WITH NO DETECTABLE PATTERN. THE TRANSMISSION FAILING WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION CREATES AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, POTENTIALLY FATAL, DRIVING SITUATION. I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE. HONDA HAS ISSUED A RECALL ON THIS TRANSMISSION ALREADY BUT NOT FOR THIS PARTICULAR PROBLEM. MY VEHICLE DOESN'T QUALIFY FOR THE RECALL. *TR
PICKING UP SON FROM PRE-K AND CAR KEY WOULD NOT TURN OFF. AFTER MESSING WITH THE KEY AND JUGGLING IT FOR OVER AN HOUR, I WAS ABLE TO TURN IT OFF BUT IT WOULD NOT TURN ON AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD IT COULD BE THE IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AT THE TIME.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, A CLICKING NOISE STARTED TO EMERGE FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. IN 2004,THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPAIRED THROUGH A MANUFACTURER'S RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 147,000.
2004 HONDA ACCORD V6 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. THE TRANSMISSION IS GOING OUT AT ONLY 145,000 MILES. I CALLED A FEW TRANSMISSION SHOPS AND THE 2003, 2004, & 2005 HONDA ACCORDS WITH THE V6 ENGINE ARE KNOWN TO GO OUT AROUND THIS MILEAGE. I CALLED HONDA AND THEY DENIED THAT THERE WAS ANYTHING WRONG. TAKATA RECALL ON JULY 19, 2016 MY WIFE WAS RETURNING FROM A LUNCHEON ABOUT 2PM ON HWY 111 ON A SUNNY, DRY AFTERNOON FOLLOWING TRAFFIC WITHIN SPEED LIMITS WHEN TO THE BEST OF HER RECOLLECTION THE AIR BIG EXPLODED CAUSING PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO MY WIFE. SHE LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND RAN INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE' THIS ACCIDENT RESULTED IN THE TOTAL LOSS OF THE ACCORD. ABOUT SIX OR EIGHT WEEKS AGO I TOOK THE ACCORD IN TO THE HONDA DEALER IN CATHEDRAL CITY AND REQUESTED THAT THE AIR BAG BE INSPECTED AS A WAS AWARE OF A RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE IN MAY 2016. I WAS TOLD THAT THE AIR BAG WAS SAFE AND NOTHING WAS DONE ON THE CAR. I HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE THAT THE RECALL WORK ON THIS AIR BAG (REPLACE PARTS) SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE BY THE DEALER AND THIS ACCIDENT WOULD NOT HAVE OCCURRED.

JAN. 2015 TRAVELING AT 25 TO 30 MPH, DRIVER FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT SEPARATED CAUSING WHEEL TO TURN SIDEWAYS IN WHEEL WELL, WHICH RESULTED IN DISABLING VEHICLE, SEPERATED CV SHAFT AND FENDER DAMAGE. NO INJURIES AND HAD TO HAVE TOWED. MAY 2015 TRAVELING 20 TO 25 MPH, PASSENGER LOWER BALL JOINT SEPARATED CAUSING WHEEL TO TURN SIDEWAYS IN WHEEL WELL, RESULTED IN DISABLING VEHICLE AND DAMAGE TO FENDER. LOCAL POLICE WERE CALLED, NO INJURIES AND VEHICLE TOWED. JULY 2016 BACKING OUT OF DRIVEWAY, PASSENGER FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT SEPARATED, CAUSING WHEEL TO TURN SIDEWAYS IN WHEEL WELL, RESULTED IN DISABLING VEHICLE, DAMAGE TO FENDER, SEPARATED CV SHAFT, AND DENTED THE OIL PAN, NO INJURIES. THERE IS A FAULT IN THE DESIGN OF THE LOWER BALL JOINT PLACEMENT, THE WEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE IS NATURALLY CAUSING THE BALL TO PRESS AGAINST THE RETAINING EDGE OF THE SOCKET, RESULTING IN METAL ON METAL CONTACT CAUSING THE RETAINING EDGE TO WEAR RESULTING IN SEPARATION OF THE BALL JOINT. THE ONLY WAY TO CORRECT THIS WOULD BE TO REDESIGN THE FRONT SUSPENSION STEERING KNUCKLE AND LOWER CONTROL ARM. THE BALL JOINT SHOULD BE PRESSED INTO THE SOCKET WITH WEIGHT ON THE WHEELS NOT PULLING IT APART. MY ONLY SUGGESTIONS UNTIL SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT THIS, IS GO TO A SERVICE GARAGE AND HAVE THEM CHECK THE BALL JOINTS WITH A PRY BAR BETWEEN THE STEERING KNUCKLE AND LOWER CONTROL ARM, IF THERE IS MOVEMENT HAVE IT REPLACED AND KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS. JUST SHAKING THE WHEEL BY HAND ISN'T ENOUGH TO SEE THE MOVEMENT. DO NOT PICK THE VEHICLE UP BY THE LOWER CONTROL ARM, IT CAN RESULT IN CONTROL ARM BUSHING SEPARATION.

The contact related the failure to having had the driver's side air bag replaced under NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V320000 (Air Bags). The contact stated that the air bag warning light remained illuminated continually. Additionally, the contact stated that the horn, cruise control, and the passenger’s side air bag sensor had also failed to operate as needed. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 405,000.

2004 ACCORD TRANSMISSION BEGAN LEAKING AT THE SAME TIME AS ABS TROUBLE, WHAT SEEMS TO BE SUSPENSION PROBLEMS (BAD SPRINGS?), HOOD STRUTS FAILED. THESE ALL HAPPENED ABOUT A MONTH AFTER ONE DEALER REPLACED AN ENGINE MOUNT AND LEAKING POWER STEERING FLUID CONTAINER. THE TRUNK OPENING SWITCH WOULD NOT WORK BUT WAS TOO EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR. I HAD THE ABS LOOKED AT AT ANOTHER DEALER AND FOR $100 AN "ELECTRICAL SWITCH" UNDER THE GAS PEDAL WAS REPLACED. THE POWER STEERING FLUID WAS LEAKING AGAIN. THEY SAID THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE FIXED FOR $2000 AND THAT MY CAR WAS NOT IN THE RECALL. I SAW MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT TRANSMISSION LEAKS ONLINE AND ABOUT THE GAS DOOR NOT OPENING. THE DEALER DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT. (ENGINE MOUNTS AND HOOD STRUTS ARE POPULAR ITEMS ON AMAZON.) I WAS LUCKY THAT MY HEAD WASN'T UNDER THERE WHEN THE HOOD FELL. I HAD OPENED THE HOOD TO CHECK THE POWER STEERING FLUID AND WENT TO THE TRUNK TO GET SOME, WHEN IT FELL. I WAS ABLE TO REPLACE THEM FROM AMAZON. I HAD THE ENGINE CUT OUT TWICE WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN AFTER LAST INSPECTION. I LOST STEERING AND SAW THE ENGINE LIGHT COME ON SO I QUICKLY STARTED THE ENGINE AGAIN. ABOUT A MONTH APART. IT DIDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN. IT SEEMS STRANGE TO ME THAT ALL OF THIS HAPPENED WITHIN 6 MONTHS AFTER AN INSPECTION.
THE RADIO/CD PLAYER HASN'T WORKED ABOUT 95% OF THE LIFE OF THIS CAR. WHEN IT DOES IN FACT DECIDE TO TURN ON OUT OF NOWHERE, IT CREATES AN EXTREMELY LOUD STATIC NOISE THAT GREATLY STARTLES THE DRIVER, WHICH COULD POTENTIALLY BE A DANGEROUS SITUATION.
THE PANEL LIGHTS ON THE RADIO HAS WENT OUT. I CAN'T RECALL IF IT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS DRIVING OR NOT, BUT I NOTICED IT WHILE DRIVING. IN THE 2004 HONDA ACCORD, THE AC, RADIO, & CLOCK SHARE THE SAME DISPLAY. IT WAS RAINING THE OTHER NIGHT WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND MY WINDOWS FOGGED UP. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THE DEFROST BUTTON AT NIGHT SINCE ALL THE DISPLAY LIGHTS STOP WORKING. THIS IS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE AND HOPEFULLY HONDA WILL STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND FIX THIS ISSUE TO ENSURE THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE SAFE WHILE DRIVING THEIR VEHICLES.
