AFTER A COMPLETE STOP, THEN AN ATTEMPT TO ACCELERATE, THE CAR HESITATES AND THEN MOVES FORWARD IN AN UNCONTROLLED MANNER. IT SEEMS LIKE THE TRANSMISSION IS HUNTING FOR A GEAR AND THEN SUDDENLY FINDS IT ALLOWING THE CAR TO MOVE BUT NOT IN A WAY THE DRIVER WOULD LIKE. *TR
DRIVING AT NIGHT IS UNSAFE. HEADLIGHTS WHILE ON LOW BEAM LIGHT UP 3 TO 4 FEET ABOVE STREET LEVEL WHILE ON LEVEL GROUND. THERE IS A HORIZONTAL LINE , THE LOWER SIDE OF THE LINE IS BRIGHT THE UPPER SIDE IS PITCH BLACK. NIGHT VISION FURTHER AHEAD OF VEHICLE IS NON EXISTENT AS THE UPPER SIDE OF LINE WOULD DICTATE DISTANCE AHEAD. FORGET ABOUT SEEING AHEAD OF THE CAR FOR A SAFE DISTANCE . IF A PERSON IS STANDING IN THE ROAD YOU WOULD ONLY SEE HIS WAIST ON DOWN. DEALER HAS SAID THERE HAVE BEEN MORE COMPLAINTS. *TR
PICK THIS VEHICLE UP FROM THE DEALER GOT ONE EXIT DOWN ON THE HIGHWAY AND TURNED AROUND BECAUSE EVEN HOLDING THE STEEL WILL PERFECTLY STRAIGHT WITH BOTH HANDS ON THE WHEEL THE CAR JUST DRIFTS FROM SIDE TO SIDE IN THE LANE AND IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO KEEP CONTROL OF WHILE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER WHO SAID THAT THEY PUT IT BACK ON THE ALIGNMENT MACHINE AND THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ALIGNMENT, I ALSO AM HAVING ISSUES WITH THE REAR DEFROSTER NOT WORKING PROPERLY. I ALSO POINTED OUT A VISUAL DEFECT IN THE PAINT ON THE HOOD OF THE CAR WHICH THE DEALER SAID I'LL WILL CALL YOU BACK IN A WEEK OR TWO AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT AND WILL HAVE TO HAVE THE HOOD REPAINTED I HAVE YET FIVE MONTHS LATER YET TO HEAR BACK FROM THIS DEALER SHIP AS TO WHEN THE GOING TO ACTUALLY REPAINT THE HOOD ON THE VEHICLE. *TR
I HAVE HAD 3 (OR 4) FALSE LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNINGS. THE FIRST 3 TIMES THE DEALER REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN CHECK THE PRESSURE AND RESET THE LIGHT. THE LAST TIME I HAD AN ALARM I DROVE ANOTHER 25 MILES AND THEN LOOKED AT THE TIRES. I COULD SEE NOTHING WRONG SO I ASSUMED IT WAS ANOTHER FALSE ALARM. THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED ON A SATURDAY SO THE DEALER WAS CLOSED AND I CONTINUED THE TRIP WE HAD PLANNED. WHEN I FINALLY WENT TO THE DEALER, IT WAS 5 DAYS AND 300 MILES LATER, THE DEALER DID FIND A NAIL AND THE PRESSURE WAS 24 PSI. NOW THE DEALER IS TELLING ME THAT HE HAS RESEARCHED THE HONDA DATA BASE AND/OR TALKED TO HONDA AND THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO UNTIL I BRING IT IN AGAIN WITH A FALSE ALARM. THEY WILL THEN CONNECT THE COMPUTER AND BEGIN A PROCEDURE. *TR
WENT TO WEDDING 125,MILES AWAY, AT THE RECEPTION NOTICED MY CELL PHONE CHARGER LAYING IN THE SEAT" BERRIED HAFT WAY IN THE LEATHER SEAT BURNT A HOLE IN THE SEAT. WIFE NOT HAPPY HER CAR. I TOOK THE FIRST CHARGER TO VERIZON TO BE CHECK OUT AT THE SAME TIME I PERCHES A SECOND CHARGER AND TO LET THEM NO A BOUGHT THE BURN IN THE SEAT, AFTER VERIZON CHECKED CHARGER IT WAS DETERMINED NOT TO BE THERE CHARGER AFTER COMING HOME FROM THE WEDDING T WENT TO ROCK HONDA TO ASK IF THERE WAS OR IS A RECALLS ON THE ELECTRICAL THE ACCORD FOR THIS YEAR, NOT THAT THEY A WHERE OF. I CHECK IN TO THE COST OF HAVING THIS SEAT REPAIRED, THE COST WAS SMALL BUT SIGNIFICANT. I WAITED TO SEE F THERE WHERE GOING TO ANY MORE OCCURRENCES BE FOR TAKING THE VEHICLE PASSENGER SEAT TO BE REPAIRED, YES THERE WAS A THIRD INCIDENT. MY WIFE AND I WHERE RETURNING FROM A FUNERAL ON 4/21/2015 WHEN THE REAR VIEW CAMERA FROZE ON THE WINDOW SCREEN KEEPING FROM VIEWING ANY IN MY BLIND SPOT OR TO THE REAR OF MY VEHICLE. I DROVE FROM THE CEMETERY TO ROCK HONDA WITH THE PROBLEM STILL SHOWING ON MY DASH. THE WAIT WAS LONG AT THE DEALER, BUT BE FOR I TURNED OFF THE CAR I TOOK A PICTURE OF THE OF THE DASH BOARD SHOEING IT WAS FROZEN. I RECEIVED @ 12:22 4/22/2015 TELLING ME THAT THEY WERE GOING TO REPLACE THE REAR VIEW CAMERA BUT NOT GOING TO DO ANY THING FOR THE CHARGER OR THE BURN /HOLE IN THE SEAT. THERE WORDS WHERE: I MUST NOT HAVE PUSHED THE CHARGER ALL THE WAY,THUS CAUSING THE CHARGER TO GET HOT" SCREEN GOING DARK-2 CHARGER MELTING AND CAMERA FREEZING, ITS SOME WHERE IN THE ELECTRICAL. NOTE THERE WAS NO MENTION ON THE DIMMING OR BRIGHTENING OF OUR DASH LIGHTS, WHEN I ASK' THEY TOLD ME THEY DID A COMPLETE RESET OF THE COMPUTER AND THIS WILL TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM. *TR
(FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT'S INVOICE ON 08/09/16) 2 SENSOR ONE WIRES CHEWED ON BY RODENT SHORTING PCM. TRIGGERED SHUT OFF. REPLACED SENSOR. MY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE WIRES WERE NOT VINYL BUT WERE SOY AND THAT'S THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. THE CAR HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIR. SINCE THE CAR WAS OUT OF WARRANTY, I WAS CHARGED $422 TO REPLACE THE SENSOR. I WANT A REFUND. I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT AGAINST HONDA OVER THE ISSUE OF THE SOY COATED WIRES. ( MY HUSBAND, ROY BAKER, IS MOST FAMILIAR WITH THIS ISSUE.)
I WAS PARKED IN AN ALLEY BEHIND A COFFEE SHOP. I TURNED THE CAR ON AND PUT MY SEAT BELT ON AND PUT IT IN GEAR. IT SUDDENLY LURCHED FORWARD AND STRUCK A PARKED CAR ONE CAR'S WIDTH FROM ME, RICOCHETED AND HIT ANOTHER PARKED CAR (WHICH THEN HIT THE CAR NEXT TO IT). I COULD NOT STOP THE CAR, THOUGH I TRIED; THEN I PIVOTED AGAIN AND HIT AND TOOK DOWN THE CINDER BLOCK WALL OF A GARAGE. I TURNED THE CAR OFF EITHER RIGHT BEFORE HITTING THE GARAGE WALL OR RIGHT AFTER. NO AIRBAGS WERE EVER RELEASED. IN RETROSPECT, AFTER THE SHOCK AT ALL THE DAMAGE, I BELIEVE SOMETHING WAS DEFECTIVE ABOUT MY NEW HONDA ACCORD.
