This car brakes on its own. It has done this over and over. Honda claims It has no issues dealer has always serviced it replaced things but it brakes on the freeway, its just shuts down nothing I can do. I reported when it began to happen I even filed a report and sent letter to Honda USA. It last did it a few weeks ago on an expressway near my home. First time it ever did it on the street its always been freeways. I have documented emails to dealer, Honda corporate VM. No one is helping this car is not safe. It is not a made up thing. This car brakes on its own. It beeps signals when it does. It does not move it just shuts down. I have not been hit but know it will one day happen. If it does it has been reported and documented to Piercey Honda now Envision Honda in Milpitas Ca . My service advisor is Adrian Cruz
I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE IN THE SHOP NUMEROUS TIMES FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO OPEN THE GAS TANK TO FILL UP THE CAR. SEALS COMING OFF THE DOORS. ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM QUIT WORKING AND NOT RESPONDING. NOW THE VEHICLE SLAMS ON ITS BREAKS FOR NO REASON WHEN NO VEHICLES ARE AROUND. ALSO THE VEHICLE DEPARTS IT'S LANE WHEN IT IS SUPPOSED TO KEEP ME IN IT. ALSO THE VEHICLES BRAKES GRIND WHEN I STEP ON THEM. ALSO THE CAR MAKES A GRINDING NOISE WHEN I STEP ON THE GAS PEDAL AND THE VEHICLE SOMETIMES STAYS IN 4000 RPM WHEN DRIVING DONE THE ROAD. ALSO WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND GOING 70 MPH AND I STEP ON THE BREAKS THE WHOLE CAR SOMETIMES SHAKES AND DOESN'T STOP WHEN NEEDED. IT STARTED WITH ISSUES WHEN I GOT THE VEHICLE NOT MUCH LATER. IT CURRENT ONLY 17800 MILES ON IT AND I SHOULDN'T BE HAVING THESE ISSUES.
Brake light warning comes and with nothing in front or near me and on occasion it engages the brakes. Also the lane keep assist also goes off when I’m in the middle of a lane and going straight. I have had various electrical problems like this since week one of getting the car, and the dealer or Honda can never explain any of this
ON APRIL 13, 2019, MY BRAND NEW, 2019 HONDA ACCORD SPORT 2.0T ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 55 MPH, WITH MERE/MILD RAIN BROUGHT AN ALERT OF COLLISION MITIGATION WARNING ONTO THE DASH. THE CAR HAS SINCE ALERTED ME OF THE SAME PROBLEM ABOUT 5 TIMES, IN BOTH WET AND DRY HIGHWAY CONDITIONS. WHEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER, THEY SAID THE CAR HAD NO RECORDS OF THE ALERT. NOT KNOWING IF THE HONDA SENSING SYSTEM WILL WORK IS VERY ALARMING AND I HAVE BECOME SCARED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AS I CAN NOT TRUST THAT THE VEHICLE WILL PERFORM AS ADVERTISED. I AM PAYING FOR A SERVICE THAT IS NOT SAFE TO USE OR NOT SAFE FOR OTHER MOTORISTS AS MANY OTHER ACCORD AND HONDA OWNERS HAVE REPORTED THE SAME ON THEIR CARS.
THE COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM AND CRUISE CONTROL RANDOMLY STOP WORKING. IT REQUIRES A RESTART TO ACTIVATE THESE IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURES. THE CAR WAS ON THE HIGHWAY EACH TIME. IT HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK. ATTACHED IS A PICTURE OF THE WARNING OF THE FAILURE.
BACKUP CAMERA/HONDALINK SOFTWARE DEFECT: GUIDANCE LINES ON REVERSE CAMERA IMAGE DO NOT APPEAR ON DASH DISPLAY OR DISAPPEAR SHORTLY AFTER STARTING THE CAR AND PLACING IT IN REVERSE APPROXIMATELY 20% OF THE TIME. ALSO NOTICE HONDALINK REBOOTS SPONTANEOUSLY A FEW MINUTES LATER MANY TIMES. DEALER CANNOT FIND DEFECT OR RECALL OR TSB FOR PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL/YEAR.
HAVE TAKEN MY BRAND NEW 2019 HONDA ACCORD SPORT 1.5 TO TWO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS DUE TO MY CAR NOT TRACKING STRAIGHT. EACH TIME A MINOR TWEAK WAS DONE TO THE ALIGNMENT. AFTER RESEARCHING A BIT MORE I FOUND THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE GEAR BOX BEING FAULTY (53620-TWA-A28) WHICH CAUSES THE TRACKING TO BE OFF WITH AND WITHOUT LANE KEEP ASSIST ENGAGED. I AM TRYING TO GET THIS ISSUE RECTIFIED AND AWAITING DEALER FEEDBACK. I HAVE CONTACTED THE DEALER AND MADE THEM AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE 2018 AND 2019 ACCORDS ARE VERY SIMILAR AND THE ISSUE IS PRESENT IN 2018S AND A FEW 2019S AFTER READING ACCOUNTS ON 'ACCORDXCLUB.COM'. MY BUILD MONTH AND YEAR WAS NOVEMBER 2018.
THE TIRES OF THE NEW 2019 HONDA ACCORD WERE FIXED BY THE DEALER SHOP: NORTHSIDE HONDA AT 9100 SAN PEDRO AVENUE SAN ANTONIO, TX 78216 (210) 988-9644 BUT THE DETERIORATING CONDITION OF THE TIRES CONTINUES
WHILE I WAS DRIVING IN A ROAD WITH SPEED LIMIT OF 45, SOMEHOW, THE SYSTEM WAS SHOWING THE SPEED LIMIT AS 90 MPH. IT HAPPENED ONLY ONCE.
ON A NUMBER OF OCCASION, BOTH ON THE HIGHWAY AND DRIVING IN TOWN, THE ADAPTIVE COLLISION CONTROL SYSTEM HAS SIGNALED "BRAKE" WHILE ABRUPTLY APPLYING THE BRAKES EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO OBSTRUCTION ANYWHERE NEAR THE FRONT OR SIDES OF MY VEHICLE, IN ONE CASE NEARLY CAUSING THE VEHICLE BEHIND ME TO COLLIDE WITH MY VEHICLE.
Paint chipping…Honda refuses to assist. Paint has been chipping approximately 3 years now and it’s getting worse. The paint is coming off in chunks.
