STRONG ENGINE VIBRATIONS: PURCHASED VEHICLE MAY 2015 AND AFTER I DROVE THE VEHICLE A FEW DAYS A STRONG VIBRATION WAS FELT FROM THE ENGINE WHILE STOPPED AND IN DRIVE. VIBRATION IS ALSO FELT WHILE IN PARK. HONDA HAS ACKNOWLEDGE THE DEFECT ON WEB SITE BUT REFUSES TO ALERT THE CUSTOMERS VIA WIDE ALERT. HONDA ISSUED A BULLETIN FOR A THREE MODE "FIX" THAT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. TWO DIFFERENT HONDA DEALERS HAVE TRIED THE PROCURES PROVIDED IN THE BULLETIN WITH NO AVAIL. I REPEATEDLY TAKE IT BACK TO THE HONDA DEALER BUT NOW THEY WILL NOT OPEN A SERVICE TICKET STATING " WE'VE DONE ALL WE CAN DO" HAD I KNOWN OF THIS PROBLEM I WOULD HAVE NOT PURCHASED. WHAT AM I TO DO NOW WITH THIS VEHICLE THAT I CAN'T EVEN TRADE IN BECAUSE OTHER DEALERS KNOW ABOUT THIS ISSUE WITH THE 2015 HONDA CRV.
MY VEHICLE SHAKES AND VIBRATES WHILE IDLING. I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP THREE TIMES. A SOLUTION HAS NOT BEEN FOUND. THE VEHICLE HAS UNDER 6,000 MILES (PURCHASED MAY 2015).
MY 2015 CRV HAS A CONSISTENT SHUDDER AND VIBRATION THAT CAN BE FELT THROUGH THE STEERING WHEEL AND SEAT WHILE DRIVING. IT IS MOST NOTICEABLE AT 1000 RPM'S AND 2000 RPM'S. THIS VIBRATION IS VERY DISTRACTING AND CAUSES FATIGUE DURING LONGER TRIPS. ALSO SEVERE VIBRATIONS AT THE IDLE, AROUND 600 RPM'S WHEN STOPPED AT STOP LIGHTS OR IN TRAFFIC. THE VIBRATION MAKES THE CAR EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE TO DRIVE FOR THE DRIVER AS WELL AS THE PASSENGER.
THE VEHICLE VIBRATES/SHUDDERS WHEN IN DRIVE GEAR AND IDLING. THE SHUDDER DECREASES CONSIDERABLY IF THE CAR IS SHIFTED TO NEUTRAL. THE VIBRATION HAPPENS IN BOTH REGULAR DRIVE AND ECO MODE, AND NOW OCCURS CONSISTENTLY WHILE AT IDLE SPEEDS (AT STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT). BOTH FRONT SEATS SHAKE QUITE A BIT - THE PROBLEM IS REDUCED CONSIDERABLY IF YOU SWITCH TO NEUTRAL. HONDA ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEM IN A VIDEO POSTED IN APRIL, BUT NO SOLUTIONS/REMEDIES HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATED TO OWNERS. IT BEGAN AS A LESS NOTICEABLE SHAKE/VIBRATION (I DROVE A DIESEL BEFORE SO WAS ACCUSTOMED TO SOME VIBRATIONS- AND DIDN'T THINK MUCH OF IT AT FIRST), BUT AS I HAVE PUT MORE MILES ON THE CAR (I NOW HAVE 1,800 MILES) - THE VIBRATIONS HAVE BECOME CONSIDERABLY MORE NOTICEABLE, AND RECENTLY PASSENGERS ARE COMMENTING ABOUT IT. I AM CONCERNED THAT THIS VIBRATION WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE AND MAY CAUSE THE SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE TO BE COMPROMISED. ITS NOT A MINOR VIBRATION/SHUDDER- THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NEUTRAL AND DRIVE GEAR IS VERY PRONOUNCED.
I WAS DRIVING AND EVERY TIME I STOPPED AT A RED-LIGHT WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER OFF, THE CAR WOULD VIBRATE SO MUCH THE SEAT NEXT TO ME WOULD VISIBLY SHAKE. I ALSO FELT MY SEAT AND STEERING WHEEL SHAKE A LOT. NOT JUST TO THE EXTENT THAT A NORMAL VEHICLE WOULD, BUT A LOT! I LITERALLY FELT THE VIBRATIONS THROUGHOUT MY BODY. THIS IS A BRAND NEW 2015 HONDA CRV EX AND IS NOT AT ALL NORMAL. I HAVE DRIVEN MANY HONDAS AND NONE OF THEM HAVE DONE THIS. EVEN MY 13 YEAR OLD HONDA PILOT DOES NOT DO THIS.
2015 HONDA CR-V VIBRATES AT IDLE WHILE IN GEAR JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE'S. I HAVE ALSO NOTICED EXTREMELY LOUD ENGINE NOISE FOR A NEW CAR WHILE AT IDLE IN GEAR OR IN PARK AS WELL. NOISE AND VIBRATION BEGUN AT ABOUT 141 MILES.
VIBRATION: IN DECEMBER OF 2014, WE PURCHASED A BRAND NEW HONDA CRV 2015 MODEL FROM TOM WOOD HONDA IN ANDERSON, INDIANA. SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, (AT AROUND 5,000 MILES DRIVEN ON THE VEHICLE), WE NOTICED THAT; THE VEHICLE VIBRATED WHEN STOPPED (SAY AT A STOP LIGHT) WHEN THE CAR WAS IN 'DRIVE'. THE VIBRATION WAS NOT DETECTED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED AND IN 'PARK'. THE VIBRATION AT THIS TIME WAS SLIGHT AND ONLY A LITTLE DISTURBING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PENSKE HONDA (ON THE NORTH SIDE OF INDIANAPOLIS) AT AROUND 28,000 MILES OR SO, WHERE A '16-053 CRV UPDATE' WAS APPLIED. THE VIBRATION PROBLEM WAS MADE MUCH WORSE, NOT BETTER. IMMEDIATELY AFTER DRIVING THE CAR OFF OF PENSKE'S LOT, IT VIBRATED SO BADLY THAT IT WAS EXTREMELY DISTURBING. FOLLOW A FEW FRUSTRATING CONVERSATIONS WITH PENSKE HONDA ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FISHER'S HONDA. FISHER'S HONDA PERFORMED UPDATE 15-046 FOR VIBRATION AT IDLE, WHICH AMELIORATED THE PROBLEM, HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE STILL VIBRATES QUITE NOTICEABLY WHEN ENGAGED IN DRIVE AND STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT FOR EXAMPLE. THE IDLE SPEED DROPS TO AROUND 550 RPM WHEN STOPPED AND IN DRIVE. THE ENTIRE CAR SHAKES. THE STEERING WHEEL VIBRATES IN THE DRIVER'S HANDS. IN MY OPINION, NO ONE WOULD BUY A NEW OR EVEN USED CAR WITH THIS PROBLEM. I CERTAINLY WOULDN'T. WE TOOK THE 2015 HONDA CRV TO TOM WOOD HONDA. ONE OF THEIR TOP TECHNICIANS DROVE THE CAR WITH US IN IT. HE ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEM, BUT STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING MORE HE COULD DO TO FIX THE PROBLEM THAN WHAT HAD ALREADY BEEN DONE, AND THAT THE PROBLEM HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ENGINE AND DRIVE TRAIN PAIRING. SINCE THAT TIME, THE VIBRATION PHENOMENON WHEN THE CAR IS STOPPED AND ENGAGED IN DRIVE HAS WORSENED. IN ADDITION, THE CAR VIBRATES WHEN DRIVING THE CAR AT 35 TO 45 MILES PER HOUR AND THE RPMS ARE AROUND 1,100 RPM OR SO. *TR
ON MAY 2ND, 2015, WE PURCHASED A 2015 HONDA CR-V. AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE A WATER STAIN WAS NOTICED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE B PILLAR ROOF. PART OF THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT INCLUDED REMOVING THE STAIN THAT SEEMED TO BE FROM A PARTIALLY OPENED SUNROOF DURING SHIPPING. THE STAIN WAS REMOVED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND CHECKED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND ALL APPEARED TO BE RESOLVED. A SHORT TIME LATER ANOTHER WATER STAIN DEVELOPED IN THE SAME AREA. AGAIN THE STAIN WAS REMOVED AND THE VEHICLE CHECKED. AFTER THE CR-V'S THIRD VISIT TO THE SHOP IT WAS DETERMINED THAT AN "INSUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF SEAL SEALER" WAS USED IN THE ASSEMBLY OF THE VEHICLE AT THE FACTORY. OUR HONDA HAD TO BE SENT TO AN OUTSIDE HONDA APPROVED BODY SHOP FOR REPAIRS. ON DISCOVERING THE EXTENT OF THE PROBLEM, WE NO LONGER HAD CONFIDENCE IN THE QUALITY OF OUR "NEW" VEHICLE. GIVEN THE FACT IT HAD SUSTAINED WATER DAMAGE MULTIPLE TIMES AND HAD TO BE TAKEN TO AN AUTO BODY SHOP TO BE PROPERLY REPAIRED WITH ONLY A FEW HUNDRED MILES. WE HAD CONCERNS ABOUT WATER BEING TRAPPED BETWEEN THE MULTIPLE LAYERS OF METAL ROOF PANELS. IN TURN THAT COULD LEAD TO RUST, WHICH COULD LEAD TO THE RELEASE OF THE SEAM SEALER THAT HELPS PROVIDE THE RIGIDITY NEEDED FOR ROLLOVER CRASHES. ALSO, THE CONCERN OF MOLD DEVELOPING IN THE ROOF AND CARPET. UPON HEARING OUR CONCERNS THE DEALERSHIP AGREED TO TRADE IN OUR WATER DAMAGED CR-V FOR A NEW ONE. WITH LESS THAN 100 MILES THIS CR-V ALSO DEVELOPED A ROOF LEAK. NOW THE DEALERSHIP AND BODY SHOP HAS HAD OUR CURRENT CR-V TWO WEEKS, TO FIX THE LEAKED CAUSED BY HONDA NOT USING ENOUGH SEALER ON THE PASSENGER SIDE ROOF PANELS AND RAIL STUDS.HONDA IS NOW USING OUR CR-V AS FIELD REPORT CASE STUDY TO SUBMIT TO HONDA ENGINEERS. WE WOULD LIKE HONDA TO ISSUE A RECALL OUT OF CONCERN FOR OTHER CR-V OWNERS. MANY OWNERS MAY BE UNAWARE OF MOLD DANGERS AND STRUCTURAL ROOF WEAKNESS.
INTERMITTENTLY WHILE IN ECONOMY MODE, WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP OR WHILE MOVING AND INCREASING SPEED THE ENGINE HESITATES ANYWHERE FROM ONE TO FIVE SECONDS BEFORE ANY INCREASE IN SPEED OR ENGINE RPMS. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND HAS CAUSED ME TO ALMOST BE T-BONED NUMEROUS TIMES. THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ON VARIOUS SITES ON THE INTERNET. MY DEALER SAYS THIS IS NORMAL BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF TRANSMISSION. OTHER DEALERS SAY THE SAME THING. THIS IS GOING TO GET SOMEONE KILLED SOON.
I LEASED A HONDA 2015 CRV AND STARTED NOTICING NAUSEATING VIBRATION WHEN STOPPED AT LIGHTS. WHEN THE CAR'S RPM HIT UNDER 1000 THE VIBRATION IN THE CAR GETS CONTINUALLY WORSE. WHEN RPM HIT 500 THE CAR VIBRATES SO MUCH IT CAUSES DRIVER AND PASSENGER TO VISIBLY SHAKE. THIS OCCURS EVER TIME THE CAR HITS 500 RPM, WHICH FOR ME OCCURS AT LEAST 7 TIMES EACH WAY OF MY DAILY WORK COMMUTE . YOU WILL FEEL THIS SHAKING FROM YOU BACK TO YOUR SHOULDERS WHEN YOU ARE IN THE SEAT. HAVE TAKEN IT TO TWO DEALERSHIPS BOTH WHICH COULD/WOULD NOT FIX THE ISSUE. WAS TOLD IT A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CAR WHICH IS BS. MADE A COMPLAINT TO HONDA OF AMERICA WHICH HAS NOT BEEN HELPFUL. THIS WAS MY FAMILY'S FOURTH HONDA BRAND CAR AND WILL BE ARE LAST. I AM CURRENTLY STUCK IN A LEASED CAR THAT IS NAUSEATING AND WILL MOST LIKELY CAUSE REPAIR ISSUES IN FUTURE WITH THE VIBRATION THAT GOES THROUGH ENTIRE CAR.
ABOUT 1-2X PER MONTH, AFTER CAR SITS FOR SEVERAL HOURS (AND POWER TRAIN IS COLD), VEHICLE WILL SHUDDER WHEN FIRST STARTING OUT IN REVERSE OR DRIVE. THIS USUALLY OCCURS WHEN IN REVERSE AND RIDING BRAKE AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE. RPM DOES DROP TO ABOUT 500 RPM FOR ABOUT A SECOND, MAKING VEHICLE FEEL AS IF IT WILL STALL (SIMILAR TO NOT GIVING ENOUGH GAS WITH A MANUAL TRANSMISSION). ENGINE WILL THEN REV SLIGHTLY ABOVE INITIAL IDLE BEFORE RETURNING TO NORMAL. THROTTLE RESPONSE ALSO DIMINISHES FOR A FEW SECONDS AFTERWARD. DEALER FOUND NO TROUBLE CODES AND ASSOCIATED SYMPTOMS WITH IDLE VIBRATION ISSUE. HOWEVER, FREQUENCY OF IDLE VIBRATION IS MUCH MORE REGULAR WITH THOSE WHO HAVE IT. CAR HAS NOT STALLED YET BUT ALWAYS THINK IT MIGHT. MY DAD HAS AN IDENTICAL VEHICLE AND HAS HAD SAME SHUDDERING ISSUE, THOUGH WITH MUCH LESS FREQUENCY.
SHAKE OUT OF THE SEAT VIBRATION WHEN STOPPED IN DRIVE AND ALL ACCESSORIES AND LIGHTS OFF. TRANSMISSION VIBRATION AT TAKEOFF UP TO 30 MPH, OR 1,500RPM. THE ISSUE IS CONSTANT, AND HONDA DEALER STATES IT IS A KNOWN PROBLEM.
WHILE IN LOW IDLE (LESS THAN 750 RPM) VEHICLE SHUDDERS WHILE IN DRIVE OR "S" GEAR. SHUDDER DECREASES IF CAR IS SHIFTED TO NEUTRAL, OR IF BRAKE CONTINUES TO BE APPLIED AND A BIT MORE RPMS ARE INTRODUCED BY TAPPING THE ACCELERATOR. HAPPENS IN EITHER REGULAR DRIVE OR ECO MODE. DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME, BUT IS ANNOYING WHEN IT HAPPENS.
CVT TRANSMISSION IS CAUSING VIBRATIONS AT IDLE. NO SUPPORT FROM HONDA HAS BEEN MADE TO FIX THIS.
THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE WOBBLES WHILE DRIVING, STREET AND HIGHWAY. ORANGE BRAKE LIGHT FLASHES IN DASH WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAY WHEN I TAP BRAKE PADDLE. CONCERNED ABOUT POSSIBLE BRAKE FAILURE. I HAVE ASKED THE DEALERSHIP IF MY "NEW" CAR WAS DAMAGED BEFORE I PURCHASED IT, OF COURSE I WAS TOLD NO. ONCE MY CAR TURNED OFF AT A RED LIGHT. MY CAR WAS CHECKED AND NOTHING FOUND.
AFTER 3 TIMES GOING TO DEALER FOR SERVICE WITH TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN (TSB) 15'046, MY CAR STILL VIBRATES STRONGLY FOR ALL SEATS, WHICH CERTAINLY CAUSES DISTRACTING, HEADACHES AND QUEASINESS.
NOTICEABLE VIBRATION WHEN VEHICLE IDLE ON D AND RPM FALLS BELOW 600. VIBRATION GONE WHEN RPM BOUNCE BACK ABOVE 700, OR WHEN YOU SWITCH TO N. BOUGHT A NEW CRV EX-L ABOUT A WEEK AGO, NEVER EXPERIENCED VIBRATION FOR PREVIOUS YEAR MODEL. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA CR-V. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE VEHICLE VIBRATED SEVERELY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED CONSTANTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE'S SOFTWARE WAS UPDATED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150.
VIBRATION WHILE AT IDLE OR 2200 RPM WHILE DRIVING AND SITTING. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY TRY TO FIX AND IT WAS A NO FIX. BRAND NEW CAR RUNNING LIKE A WORN-OUT VEHICLE. HONDA SAYS IT IS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE, FIRMLY DISAGREE, EVENTUALLY CONSISTENT VIBRATIONS WILL CAUSE PARTS TO LOOSEN. DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR ACCIDENTS TO HAPPEN BEFORE HONDA AND THE GOVERNMENT TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE? IT IS A DISTRACTION WHEN DRIVING AND A SAFETY CONCERN. IT IS A SAFETY CONCERN. BATTERY ALREADY HAD TO BE REPLACE ALSO THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPEN. HEATER/ DEFROSTER MOTOR THING HAD TO BE REPLACE ALSO. THIS HAS BEEN A ONGOING PROBLEM SINCE I GOT THE CAR IN MARCH 2015
I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW WITH 6 MILES ON THE VEHICLE AND AFTER A WEEK TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER TO FIND OUT WHAT'S CAUSING THAT VIBRATING / SHAKING FEELING WHEN THE CAR IS IN IDLE OR AT A RED LIGHT , CAR SHAKES A LOT AND CAN REALLY FOCUS ON THE STEERING WHEEL , DEALER TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND SUPPOSE MY SALES PERSON THAT BEEN WORKING THERE FOR 15 YEARS DON'T KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND THE SERVICE MAN SAID THAT HONDA IS WORKING ON A SOFTWARE , THIS IS A $30K CAR I ASKED FOR EXCHANGED THEY SAID THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DO SUCH A THING LIKE THIS ,, MY QUESTION IS WHEN HONDA IS GOING TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING THAT COULD FIX THIS ISSUE ,, I AM SCARED TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE ON VACATION BECAUSE IT FEELS THAT ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION IS GOING TO BREAK A PART WE NEED AN ANSWER WE NEED SOMETHING TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS NOT JUST WE ARE AWARE OF IT AND THAT'S IT ,, THAT DON'T HELP THESE DAYS. *TR
EXCESSIVE VIBRATION AT IDLE.
THE VIBRATION, AND AT TIMES SHAKING, OF THE SEATS OF MY 2015 HONDA CRV IS SO SEVERE THAT IT CAUSES NAUSEA, MIGRAINES, AND BACK PAIN. I MYSELF HAVE A HERNIATED DISK WITH NERVE COMPRESSION, A CONDITION THAT IS SERIOUSLY AGGRAVATED BY THE VIBRATION/SHAKING. I HAVE NOTIFIED BOTH THE DEALERSHIP AND HONDA TO NO AVAIL. THAT HONDA, OR ANY CORPORATION FOR THAT MATTER, SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO HARM CONSUMERS IN THIS WAY IS DESPICABLE.
VIBRATION IS FELT IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT (BOTTOM AND SEATBACK) BOTH WHEN STOPPED AND WHEN DRIVING. VIBRATION IS MORE PRONOUNCED WHEN IN DRIVE WITH FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND THE CAR IS STOPPED. WE HAVE CONCERNS OVER THE SAFE CONTROL OF THE CAR, GIVEN THIS VIBRATION. IN ADDITION, THE REAL ANNOYANCE OF THE VIBRATION MEANS WE TAKE OUR HANDS OFF THE WHEEL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, EXASCERBATING SAFETY CONCERNS. THIS CONDITION WAS THERE WHEN THE CAR WAS DRIVEN HOME AND HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY SERVICE CONSULTANT AT CURRY HONDA, ATLANTA.
MY BRAND NEW HONDA AFTER DRIVEN FOR 15-20 MINUTES BEGINS TO SHAKE/VIBRATE WHEN IDLING, SITTING AT A LIGHT OR AT LOW SPEEDS. THE STEERING WHEEL AND THE SEATS VISIBLY SHAKE. THIS IS NOT THE QUALITY PRODUCT THAT USUALLY COMES FROM HONDA CORPORATION! WE OWNED A 2002 ODYSSEY FOR 13 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT OR A PROBLEM WITH IT OTHER THAN GENERAL MAINTENANCE. THIS BRAND NEW HONDA CR-V AWD TOURING 2015 (LESS THAN 3 WEEKS OLD) HAS AN ISSUE OF VIBRATION OF THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATS, STEERING WHEEL, AND CAR OVERALL (E.G., DOORS). THE ISSUE HAPPENS WHEN THE CAR IS DRIVEN A FEW MILES AND THE CAR STOPS (IDLES) IN DRIVE MODE (E.G., AN A STOP LIGHT). WITHIN SECONDS THE SEATS AND STEERING WHEEL STARTS TO VIBRATE, SOMETIMES UNCOMFORTABLY. THE VIBRATION GOES AWAY AS THE CAR STARTS TO MOVE, SO IT SEEMS TO ONLY HAPPEN NOTICEABLY WHEN IDLING WITH THE TRANSMISSION IN DRIVE. THE CAR IS BRAND NEW AND THE VIBRATION IS NOTICEABLE ENOUGH THAT MAKES THE DRIVER (OR PASSENGERS) AWARE AND SUSPICIOUS OF A PROBLEM. A CRACK ON THE WINDSHIELD WAS NOTICED APR/12/2015 (STARTING AT THE BOTTOM EDGE AT DRIVER'S SIDE AND SPREADING TOWARDS THE CENTER). I WENT TO DEALER (MANCHESTER HONDA) APR/13/2015, SHOWED VIBRATION ISSUE TO SELLER WHICH WAS REPRODUCED AT THE DEALER PARKING LOT, AND WAS LATER INFORMED BY A SERVICE REP THAT HONDA IS AWARE OF ISSUE. I CALLED HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE APR/14/2015, AND WAS DIRECTED TO A HONDA VIDEO (HTTPS://WWW.YOUTUBE.COM/WATCH?V=A6K6JPH7ZAK) AND OPENED A CASE, NO RESPONSE YET. THE HONDA REP TOLD ME THEY ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE, THAT HONDA DOES NOT CONSIDER IT A SAFETY ISSUE, AND THAT THEY "HOPE" TO HAVE A FIX SOMEDAY. THE WINDSHIELD WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY AS THE HONDA DEALER DECLINED TO REPLACED IT (THEY CLAIM IT WAS CAUSED BY A STONE/ROCK CHIP, A REALLY TINY ONE, SIZE OF A PINHEAD OR ABOUT 0.5 TO 1 MM). I STILL WONDER IF IT IS NOT CAUSED BY THE VIBRATIONS OR DEFECTIVE WINDSHIELD. I ALSO WONDER IF THIS ISSUE DOES NOT REPRESENT A SAFETY ISSUE. WHERE TECHNICIAN WAS ABLE TO DUPLICATE AND DOCUMENT COMPLAINT. SERVICE WRITER STATES THAT HONDA IS AWARE OF ISSUE BUT HAS NO FIX. MY 2011 CRV RAN SMOOTH AS GLASS. HONDA HAS BEEN THE BENCHMARK FOR QUALITY VEHICLES BUT HAS REALLY DROPPED THE BALL ON THE 2015 CRV. IF A MACHINE SHUDDERS OR VIBRATES WHEN IN OPERATION THERE IS AN INDICATION THAT IT WAS MIS-DESIGNED, SOMETHING IS BROKEN OR WILL BREAK IN THE NEAR FUTURE. TOOK IT BACK TO HONDA DEALER AND THEY DID SOME TESTING ON IT AND FIND OUT THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM BUT DIDNT FIX THE ISSUE BY SAYING HONDA DONT HAVE ANY SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM AND HONDA IS WORKING ON SOLUTIONS ALSO SAID THAT HONDA IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM.

TOOK THE CAR BACK WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF PURCHASE AT WHICH TIME I WAS TOLD THAT HONDA KNOWS ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND THAT THERE IS NO SOLUATION AT THIS TIME. THEY REFUSSED TO REPLACE MY BRAND NEW HONDA CRV 2015 WITH A TROUBLE FEE CAR. AND TO THIS DATE (7 MONTHS LATER) THEY STILL HAVE NO SOLUATION. THESE ARE ALL POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUES BY INDUCING MORE DYNAMIC TENSIONS OUTSIDE THE DESIGNED INTENTIONS WHERE THE POWER TRAIN PARTS WILL FAIL AND CREATING A LOSS OF POWER TRAIN AND INDUCING A CRASH DURING NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS.
