I have had two instances where the automatic braking engaged when there was no traffic that was near me. The scariest was when I was exiting the highway and my car suddenly stopped on the off-ramp. I could have easily been rear ended as there was no reason to stop the vehicle. Luckily no accident or injury occurred. There has been no attempt to have the issue examined or recreated because it has not been a frequent issue. The brake indicator light had illuminated although there was no traffic and then the car stopped. There was no other indication that this would occur.
On multiple occasions since purchasing this certified used vehicle in April 2021, the "brake" warning of the AEB will randomly begin flashing when there are no cars or other obstacles in front of me. On one occasion, while I was traveling over 55mph on a highway, the "brake" warning began flashing and the brakes were engaged by the vehicle causing me to lunge forward into the steering wheel. Thankfully, there was no car immediately behind me that had to use their brakes. The incident occurred quickly and then the car began to accelerate back to the speed I was originally travelling. I reported this to my local Honda dealership, but no report was filed by them and the vehicle was not inspected. I made inquiries after that to find out if and how to disable the AEB since it is faulty. If I forget to disengage the system (it has to be done every time the car is started) the random "brake" flashing continues to occur without reason.

The vehicle was taken twice to the dealer and two of the fuel injectors were replaced however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer for the third time. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that they would contact the dealer. The failure mileage was 31,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while driving 30 MPH, the brake warning light illuminated, causing the automatic braking system to intermittently activate and the vehicle decelerated. The contact was able to continue driving to her destination. The contact stated that she experienced the failure several times. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 72,000.
The contact owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the sun visors on the driver’s and passenger’s side fell. The contact stated that the failure distracted him while driving. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure was confirmed, and the contact was provided an estimate to replace the sun visors. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
While driving on the highway the service engine soon light started blinking and the engine lost power effecting my ability to keep up with traffic. After coming to a stop the light stopped. When I started the engine back up there was a lot of white smoke from the exhaust. I checked the oil level and it was at least 1/2 inch above full and smelled strongly of gas.
Awaiting notification letter to repair 2 Recalls for practically new vehicle & should provide extended warranty for only 11,461 miles driven & already need to replace A/C compressor.
This has happened several times in my vehicle now. On city streets I have had the collision avoidance system activate when there is no obstruction whatever. I was traveling 35-40 mph once and the system slammed the brakes on with with little or no warning. There was NO obstruction ahead and the car behind me nearly rear ended my vehicle. This has literally made me scared to drive my vehicle as it seems to be totally random as where and when it may occur. I sometime get the BRAKE light and audible notification, but again this comes on with NO obstruction ahead of me including other cars.
Glass sunroof spontaneously shattered while on highway. Glass shards flew off the roof of the vehicle causing unsafe road hazards to those behind us. Glass shards will fall into vehicle if screen is pulled back under sunroof. Contacted dealer and was told this is a insurance issue. No impact to sunroof by debris. No warning before it shattered. Has not been inspected yet by dealer, manufacturer or insurance.
A/C Failure in May, 2021 AND REPEATED in May, 2022: Prior to June 1, 2021, when the CRV was about 33 months old, the Air Conditioner stopped providing cool or cold air when was set as low as 65 degrees. The dealer checked it and found it was leaking (code 06001) and replaced the compressor, coil set, and clutch, then recharged it. It worked fine in 2021, but in the spring of 2022 it stopped cooling again (only about 10,000 miles in 3 1/2 yrs).. Dealer said the A/C is covered under its one year warranty, so it will be returned to the dealer in 2 days. Total mileage now is about 13, 200 miles. This is an engineering disaster and in warm weather can cause accidents. This problem is a long standing issue since early in 2000 and should be REPAIRED permanently,
WHILE DRIVING AT 5-10 MPH IN A GROCERY STORE PARKING LOT THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY FLASHED A BRAKE WARNING LIGHT AND CAME TO A JARRING STOP. THERE WERE NO OBSTACLES IN THE PATH OF TRAVEL. IT WAS TAKEN TO SCHLOSSMAN HONDA AND NO PROBLEMS COULD BE FOUND. AMERICAN HONDA HAS SINCE ASKED US TO SIGN A CONSENT FORM TO COLLECT THE RADAR AND CAMERA FOR STUDY.
The infotainment display screen on my 2018 Honda CR-V with 10,000 miles is prone to “regularly and unexpectedly” malfunction while a vehicle is in motion. It will spontaneously freeze, dim or go dark and start beeping. or go into full-brightness mode all on its own, which can be particularly dangerously distracting to a driver. The beeping was constant and a "Brightness" bar kept popping up and it would self adjust than go dark again. It is intermittent, so you never know when it will happen. It is a safety issue. I went to Capitol Honda in San Jose,Ca and talked to an adviser to ask if there has been a recall on the touch screen and they said no and that they have never heard of this problem. I also went to Victory Honda in Morgan Hill, Ca and they also said no recall on the touch screen and they have not heard of any problems with the touch screen, The advisor said that they could run a diagnostic test for $190.00,but I declined. If you do a search on the web for this problem you will see many other people also have this same problem, but Honda will not acknowledge that there is a problem.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE SAN MATEO BRIDGE , CAR BEGAN HESITATING AND JERKING UP AND DOWN AND LOST POWER ENGINE LIGHT CAME UP. TOOK IT TO PEP BOYS THEY DIAGNOSED IT AND SAID IT NEEDED COILS AND SPARK PLUGS , ABOUT $ 1000 LATER TOOK THE CAR HOME AND CONTINUED TO DO THE SAME THING, TOOK IT BACK TO PEP BOYS AND SAID THERE WAS A RECALL ON THAT CAR FOR THAT PROBLEM . THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE COILS AND SPARK PLUGS HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE VEHICLE JERKED AND LOSS MOTIVE POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO ANOTHER INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE WITH A FAILURE TO THE FUEL PUMP. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. PRIMO HONDA (777 INDUSTRIAL RD, SAN CARLOS, CA 94070) WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE DEALER DECLINED TO SELL THE CONTACT THE FUEL PUMP PART DUE TO A POSSIBLE LIABILITY ISSUE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND CONFIRMED TO THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER DECLINED TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON WHICH FUEL PUMP PART WAS NEEDED. THE CONTACT RELATED THE FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 21V215000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 92,000.
FOR NO APPARENT REASON ALL DASH WARNING LIGHTS (FORWARD COLLISION WARNING, ETC.) BEGIN FLASHING WHEN THE VEHICLE IS BEING DRIVEN (ONE RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER). THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED THE WARNING LIGHTS STOPPED EVENTUALLY. ABOUT ONE MONTH LATER THE SAME THING OCCURRED BUT THE WARNING LIGHTS WOULD NOT QUIT. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY REPLACED THE FUEL INJECTORS AND FUEL PIPE AT A COST OF $2029.00. THIS CAR ONLY HAS 32,746 MILES ON IT. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND FUEL INJECTORS SHOULD LAST BETWEEN 50,000 AND 100,000 MILES. WE ALSO HAD TO REPLACE THE TIRES. OF COURSE IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHTS ARE LIGHTING UP IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CAR WAS PARKED AND TURNED ON (IDLE) IN DRIVEWAY WHEN ALL THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS TURNED ON. 2 DAYS LATER, THEY ALL TURNED OFF. THEN 2 DAYS LATER THEY ALL TURNED ON AGAIN WHEN THE CAR WAS IDLE IN DRIVEWAY. MULTIPLE WARNING LIGHTS ARE ON, INCLUDING POWER STEERING PROBLEM, HOWEVER, THE POWER STEERING IS FINE. CAR RUNS NORMALLY. I READ ONLINE THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH MULTIPLE HONDA 2017-2018 CR-V'S. MOST PEOPLE HAVE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY AT DEALERSHIPS AND NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM. I REPLACED THE BATTERY 1 YR AGO BECAUSE THE FACTORY BATTERY DIED. NOT SURE IF THE 2 ARE RELATED.
My vehicle was marked salvage without me as the owner knowing until recently informed by a Carfax report at Toyota. I was wondering why it was marked salvage and if it was done by Carfax or insurance.
I AM INTERESTED IN OBTAINING ADDITIONAL RECORDS RELATED TO 2 COMPLAINTS FOR THIS 2018 HONDA CR-V. THE PRIOR NHTSA ID NUMBERS ARE 1185601; INCIDENT DATE 1/5/19 AND NHTSA ID NUMBER: 11283193, INCIDENT DATE 11/29/19. I CHECKED THE BOS FOR "REQUEST RESEARCH" BUT NO OPTION WAS PROVIDED TO GET THE RESEARCH. I AM INTERESTED IN OBTAINING ANY ADDITIONAL RECORDS RELATES TO THESE COMPLAINTS.
From 4/12/21 till 6/18/21 have had intermittently, all safety warnings lights on dash roll constantly while driving. Usually for 1-3 days, then it stops. Brought into dealership 3 times. First time, 4/12/21 battery changed at 41,525 miles. Second time, 5/1/21, they said warning light not on when they turn the car on, but they checked it out anyway. Third time 6/14-15/21, 43,293 miles, they kept my car, said last software update wasn't completed. On 6/18/21 the safety warning lights came back on. They have not answered my question, because this is happening, is my car safe to drive? My concern is, the warnings lights are telling me there is a problem, but the dealership is not. So are these safety features working, or disabled while they stay on.

THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF HER BODY, LACERATION TO THE FOREARM, FRACTURED L1, AND A CONCUSSION. NO POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V663000 (STEERING) AS A POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO THE FAILURE HOWEVER THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. PARKER HONDAPARKER HONDA (5327 HIGHWAY 70 W, MOREHEAD CITY (252) 247-2488) WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED NO RECALLS WERE UNDER THE VIN. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS BY NATIONWIDE AUTO INSURANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 36,277.
Steering feels stuck and requires extra force to move while driving. This issue started little more than a year ago, but initially, it seemed like a very minor thing; but now its getting worse. Initially, I called the dealer and showed him the recall notice no. C2N, P2O (enclosed). Dealer said my VIN no. cars were not affected by the recall notice. I would beg to disagree.

THE CONTACT CALLED FLOYD TRAYLOR HONDA SERVICE & SALES (3200 S ZERO ST, FORT SMITH, AR 72908, (479) 434-5975) AND FRANK FLETCHER HONDA (2921 MOBERLY LN, BENTONVILLE, AR 72712, (479) 715-8622) AND WAS INFORMED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TAKEN IN TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 51,500. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
AFTER RUNNING THE VEHICLE FOR MORE THAN 10-15 MILES FROM START THE STEERING STICKS AND JERKY WHILE MAKING A CURVE AND WON'T MOVE BACK OUT OF THIS CATCH WITHOUT APPLYING AN EXTRA FORCE. THIS COULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO CUT THE LANE UNINTENTIONALLY AND IS DANGEROUS. I HAD TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER ON 3/16/21 AND THEY COULDN'T RECREATE THE PROBLEM AS THEY WON'T DRIVE MORE THAN 5MILES. I AM GETTING THIS PROBLEM EVERY TIME I DRIVE MORE THAN 10-15 MILES.
SINCE NEW, ENGINE INTERMITTENTLY STALLS FOR A SEVERAL SECONDS AND THEN RECOVERS WITH A BURST OF ACCELERATION. HAPPENS MAINLY AT INTERSECTIONS WHEN STOPPED OR ROLLING AT A VERY SLOW SPEED AND TURNING EITHER LEFT OR RIGHT. DEALER CANNOT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM, AND I CANNOT PURPOSELY DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AT WILL. HOWEVER, IT AVERAGES HAPPENING EVERY APPROXIMATELY ONCE PER WEEK. IT HAPPENED 4/2/2021, ON A HEAVY TRAFFIC LOOP AND CAUSED A FENDER BENDER ACCIDENT. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A MAJOR ACCIDENT RESULTING IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. AFTER INVESTIGATION, I FIND ENGINE STALLING IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL HONDA.
THE TOUCHSCREEN ON THE MAIN INFOTAINMENT DISPLAY FAILED TO WORK IMMEDIATELY ON STARTUP OF THE VEHICLE. IN ADDITION THE MECHANICAL VOLUME/POWER BUTTON ON THE DISPLAY WOULD NOT WORK EITHER. RADIO CONTROL (SOURCE/STATION/VOLUME) WAS AVAILABLE THRU STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS BUT NO OTHER FUNCTIONS OF THE DISPLAY WERE AVAILABLE. A NORMAL KEY CYCLE DID NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE.
DILUTION OF THE ENGINE OIL WITH GASOLINE, CAUSING LEVEL TO RISE. SMELL OF GASOLINE OUTSIDE VEHICLE. DEALER SAYS HONDA TECHLINE TOLD THEM THIS IS NORMAL. MY VIN IS NOT PART OF HONDA'S EXTENDED WARRANTY AS AN ANSWER TO THIS ISSUE.
DRIVING ON HIGHWAY CAR BRAKES FOR NO REASON CAR IN BACK ALMOST HIT ME HAPPENS MORE THAN ONCE

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HIS DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING UP HILL AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED AND STALLED WITH SEVERAL UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THELEN HONDA (1020 N. EUCLID AVE, BAY CITY, MI 48706, (989) 402-0532) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TURBO NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I WAS DRIVING STRAIGHT IN AN OPEN STREET, NO OBSTACLES AT ALL. HOWEVER, MY VEHICLE STARTED BEEPING AND SLAMMED THE BRAKES TO A COMPLETE STOP. I WAS ALMOST THROWN OUT OF MY SEAT BUT THANK GOD I HAD MY SEATBELT ON. I CHECKED MY DASH CAMERA FOOTAGE ASWELL NO SIGN OF OBSTACLE, NOTHING AT ALL. I BELIEVE ITS THE COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM THAT GOT ACTIVATED FOR NO REASON. I HAVE MY DASH CAM FOOTAGE TO SUPPORT MY CLAIM.
THE TIRE WAS PURCHASED 3/18 AND WITH LESS THAN 50 MILES ON THE TIRE THE SIDEWALL FAILED AND BLEW OUT AT 70 MPH. TIRE WAS LESS THAN A DAY OLD AND NO OBJECT WAS HIT TO CAUSE THE FAILURE.

The contact stated that there are no objects on the road when the failure occurred. The contact stated that there would be a shadow on the roadway or a change on the pavement. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that there were no error codes and the failure was unable to be duplicated. The contact stated that the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The manufacturer stated that she would need to duplicate the failure on her own. The contact also stated that the lane departure system fails as it attempted to take oversteer turning the vehicle to the left. The contact stated that the steering assist warning was displayed. The dealer was contacted however, the vehicle was not taken in for diagnoses or repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and added it to her open case. The contact stated that this was an ongoing issue that the vehicle would either brake or display the automatic braking message. The approximate failure mileage was 46,000.
WHEN I STAR THE CAR AND DRIVE THE YELLOW WARNING LIGHT STAY ON AND THE RED LIGHT BLINK AND NOT GO OFF. ALL WARNING LIGHT. (TPS, COLLISION MITIGATION PROBLEM, EMISIN SYST. PROBLEM, ELECTRIC BRAKE PROBLEM, ETC.). ASLO THIS HAPPEN ALREADY 4 TIMES BEFORE. COUPLE TIMES I USE MY BRAKES WHEN I WAS DRIVE AND I FELT THAT THE CAR NO STOP RIGH AT TIME AND ALMOST HIT THE OTHER CAR. ALSO I CHANGE MY MOTOR OIL AND THE OLD ONE IS MIX WITH GASOLINE AND IS MORE VOLUME THAT I PUT IN. ALSO SOME TIME WHEN I DRIVE THE CAR STAR TO STALLING.
MANY TIMES I START AND DRIVE THE CAR AND THE YELLOW WARNING LIGHTS STAY ON AND AND ALSO THE RED LIGHT BRAKE KEEP BLINKING. WHEN THIS HAPEN CRUISE, PRESURE TIRES MALFUNCION. ONE THE LAS TIME I PARKED AND TURN OFF AND WHEN I TRIED TO STAR AGAIN THE BRAKES STAY ENGAGED AND NO GO ANY WHEARE. I HAVE TO DISCONECT THE BATERY 2 TIMES FOR RESET THE ALARMS. ALSO WHEN I DRIVE LOW SPEED THE MOTOR START TO STALLING. WHEN I CHANGED MOTOR OIL I SMELLED GAS AND OLD OIL IS MIX WITH GAS AND IS MORE VOLUME THAT THE ORIGINAL
WHEN STEERING FAR TO RIGHT OR LEFT WHILE TRAVELING ON A HIGHWAY OR STREET AND THEN STRAIGHTENING UP THERE IS A JERK OR CATCH AS IF SOMETHING IS CAUGHT IN THE STEERING MECHANISM.
WHEN I STAR ON AND DRIVE, THE YELLOW WARNING STAY ON , RED BRAKE LIGHT BLINK, ALL COMPUTER SAFETY SYSTEM MALFUNCION , ELECTRIC BRAKES, TIRES PRESSURE, COLLISION, A.C , POWER STERING, ETC. CAR DRIVE BUT FEEL LIGHS THE BRAKE IS ON. THIS IS A DANGERUS TRASH CAR. BRAKES PROBLEM "THE MAIN SAFETY DIVICE FOR RECALL. "
I WAS DRIVING 40MPH UP BEACH BLVD. NO TRAFFIC IMMEDIATELY NEAR ME. THE FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM BEEPED AND FLASHED BRAKE BRAKE BRAKE. WITHOUT CAUSE THE CAR STOPPED SUDDENLY. THIS IS THE SECOND REPORTED INCIDENT WITH THIS SAME CAR IN LESS THAN A YEAR. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED HONDA DEALERSHIP. NO RECALLS OR PROBABLE CAUSE. AFTER LAST INCIDENT, THERE WERE SOME NEW UPDATES INSTALLED ON THE CAR. TOLD I WOULD NEVER HAVE ANY MORE ISSUES - A FREAK OCCURRENCE. MY FEAR IS THAT IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN WITH A SEMI BEHIND ME. THIS SAFETY FEATURE MAY VERY WELL BE DEADLY.
WITHOUT WARNING NUMEROUS DASH WARNING LIGHTS SPONTANEOUSLY DEPLOYED AND VEHICLE SLOWED TO 10 MILES PER HOUR. WARNING LIGHTS INCLUDED LANE DEPARTURE, EMISSIONS, EMERGENCY BRAKE, BRAKE HOLD, ADAPTIVE CRUISE, SUCH AS THE BRAKE SYSTEM, ACC & FORWARD COLLISION WARNING ILLUMINATED ON THE DASH. SECOND TIME THIS OCCURRED IN TWO YEARS. CAR WAS IN MOTION.
The automated braking system activation when there was no car in the lane I was traveling in. I pressed on the gas pedal in attempt to override the automated braking system. I don't know if that help but soon enough the braking system release. I was on a freeway in a city and feel lucky to have avoided a collision.

3WKS FEB23, 2021 I PURCHASED A 2018 HONDA CRV I WAS LOOKING AT SOME CUSTOMERS THAT COMPLAINING ABOUT OIL DELETION IN THE ENGINE, I'M VERY WORRIED BECAUSE I DO GET A GAS SMELL INSIDE MY CAR, FROM THE EXHAUST AND WHEN I CHECK THE ENGINE OIL DIPSTICK. IT DOESN'T SHOW AS A RECALL BUT IT IS VERY CONCERNING AND I'M WORRIED THE VEHICLE WOULD BURST INTO FLAMES.
WHILE DRIVING ALL WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DASH CAME ON AND THE CAR SHUT DOWN. HONDA DIAGNOSED THE INTERCOOLER AND TURBOCHARGER ASSEMBLIES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. CAR IS UNDRIVEABLE.
2018 HONDA CR-V WITH 44000 MILES ON IT. ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS STARTED SCROLLING ACROSS THE DASH SCREEN WHILE IDLING IN A PARKING LOT. RESTARTED THE CAR, AND THE WARNINGS CONTINUED TO SCROLL. BROUGHT TO HONDA DEALER, AND DIAGNOSTIC SHOWED THAT ALL FOUR FUEL INJECTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY, COST $1,000. THE VEHICLE IS WELL MAINTAINED, AND ALWAYS USE QUALITY FUEL. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS WITH THE FUEL INJECTORS IN PREVIOUS VEHICLES.

DRIVING ALONG AND CAR STARTS BEEPING AND ALL THE DASH LIGHTS START BLINKING. I MEAN ALL. BRAKES, ENGINE, CRUISE, ETC. CAR WAS IN MOTION. I HAD IT TO HONDA IN OCTOBER THEY SAID THEY REPLACED A/C CONTROL UNIT, UPDATE PCM AND TCM AND CHANGED OIL. ALSO SAID VALVE COVER LEAKING REPLACE VALVE COVER GASKET SET. THIS WAS IN OCTOBER 2020 AND WAS GRATIS. THE SAME THING HAPPENED IN FEB. 2021. THEY TELL ME NOW THAT THE FUEL INJECTORS ARE BAD AND THEY ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND IT WILL COST $1477 + TO REPAIR. I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP AND THEY SAID NOTHING IS WRONG WITH FUEL INJECTORS AND THAT IT IS A SOFTWARE PROBLEM. THIS SCARES YOU SO BAD WHEN THE CAR BEEPS ALL THE WAY HOME AND ALL THE LIGHTS ARE FLASHING ON THE DASH.

THESE TIRES ARE RATED FOR 50000 MILES OR 6 YEARS. YOU CAN IMAGE MY SHOCK THAT TIRES WORE OUT SO FAST AND DRIVING VEHICLE IN SECURITY IS NOW QUESTIONABLE. TIER MANUFACTURER HANKOOK IS DENYING TIRE DEFECTIVENESS EVEN THOUGH HONDA DEALERSHIP HAS PROVED HANKOOK LIABLE AS NO VEHICLE DEFECT IS DISCOVERED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED OR INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,000. IT WAS ALSO REVEALED THAT IN JANUARY 2019, HONDA SENT A RECALL TO ADJUST THE SOFTWARE AND MAKE A CHANGE IN THE AC UNIT AND THIS CAR HAD THAT DONE. HONDA ALSO EXTENDED THE WARRANTY FOR THESE VEHICLES BY ONE YEAR. IT IS KNOWN THAT HONDA MADE ENGINE CHANGES IN THEIR 2019 MODESA. IT IS SPECULATED THAT THE INJECTOR SYSTEM IS CAUSING THE ISSUE IN THE 2017 AND 2018 CRV TURBO CHANGED ENGINE.
