REAR SEAT BELT ON DRIVER'S SIDE, GOT CAUGHT AND WOULD NOT RELEASE. MY SON WAS STUCK IN SEATBELT AND EVERYTIME HE MOVED, IT TIGHTENED. IT WAS SO TIGHT AROUND HIS STOMACH THAT HE HAD A HARD TIME BREATHING, AND IT WAS SO TIGHT THAT IT WOULDN'T RETRACT. HAD TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY STOP, ASKED TWO MEN TO HELP RELEASE MY SON. THEY COULDN'T SO WE HAD TO CUT SEATBELT. ALSO, SEATBELTS COME UNDONE ON THEIR OWN. *AK
WHILE TRYING TO CLOSE THE DOOR IT WILL NOT SHUT/ IT GETS STUCK. CONSUMER HAS TO PUSH THE BACK OF THE DOOR TO GET IT OPENED. THIS WOULD BE UNSAFE IN AN ACCIDENT, OCCUPANT MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET OUT. DELAER HAS READJUSTED, CHANGED LATCH, OILED, APPLIED SLIP TAPE. STICKING STILL CONTINUES. *AK *ML
HONDA ODYSSEY PURCHASED IN 2000 HAS HAD TRANSMISSION REPLACED TWICE. CURRENTLY IN LITIGATION WITH HONDA INC WITH NJ LEMON LAW. SEVERAL MEETINGS WITH HONDA REPS (TO INCLUDE ARBITRATION) HAVE RESULTED IN NO SATISFACTION. I CANNOT DEPEND ON THIS VEHICLE FOR ANY OF MY TRANSPORTATION NEEDS DUE TO CONTINUING PROBLEMS AND SAFETY CONCERNS.*AK
THE STEERING VIBRATES ALSO AT LOWER SPEEDS, HAS ALSO PROBLEM WHILE OPENING SLIDING DOORS
TWO SLIDING DOORS WILL NOT STAY SHUT MOSTLY ON DRIVER'S SIDE. THIS HAPPENS WHEN GOING OVER A BUMP. COSNUMER HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER 6 TIMES FOR DOOR OPENING, AND PROBLEM HAS GOTTEN WORSE, DOOR OPENS WHILE DRIVING. *AK
REOCCURRING PROBLEM WITH LEFT TURNS AND ELECTRIC SLIDING DOOR INDICATORS SHOWING THAT DOOR IS OPEN. THE DOOR HAS NOT ACTUALLY OPENED AS OF YET. I KNOW THE 1999 MODEL HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS, BUT THEIR DOORS WERE OPENING. THIS SHOULD SERVE AS MOSTLY AN AWARENESS ALERT. I WILL HAVE DEALER LOOK AT IT WHEN I TAKE IT IN FOR FIRST SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE IN ABOUT ONE MONTH.
WHILE DRIVING CAN HEAR THE SOUND OF GASOLINE SPLASHING AROUND IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND THEY SAID HONDA WAS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, BUT HONDA DIDN'T HAVE A SOLUTION YET. *AK
CONSUMER NOTICED THAT BOTH PASSENGER SIDE AND DRIVER SIDE SLIDING DOORS DID NOT CLOSE AND LOCK PROPERLY. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *AK THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED INDICATING THAT THE DOORS WERE NOT SECURED. A RECALL (#00V-119000) WAS ISSUED FOR THE PROBLEM THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED DUE TO VIN. *NM
2000 HONDA ODYSSEY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT APPEARED AND CAUSED EXTREME ERRATIC SHIFTING. SERVICE DEPART READ CODE SIGNIFYING TRANSMISSION FAILURE. *TS THE MANUFACTURER CHOSE TO EXTEND THE WARRANTY ON THE TRANSMISSION IN CANADA AND AMERICA. THE CONSUMER VEHICLE WAS NOT ELIGIBLE BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER IN CANADA. AMERICAN HONDA CLAIMED THAT SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS CANADIAN THEY WOULD NOT PROVIDE ANY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. *NM
DRIVER BUMPED INTO SEAT LEVER WHEN IT BECAME STUCK, CAUSING DRIVER SEAT TO AUTOMATICALLY RECLINE BACKWARDS ON TOP OF CHILD THAT WAS IN CSS BEHIND DRIVER'S SEAT. DRIVER SAYS THAT IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE SEATBELT CAUGHT ON THE RECLINE LEVER, CAUSING IT TO CONTINUE TO RECLINE AFTER DOOR WAS SHUT. *AK *ML
SIDE SLIDING DOOR DOES NOT CLOSE PROPERLY. WHEN THE DOOR IS PUSHED/SHUT IT DOES NOT STAY IN PLACE, IT SLIDES BACK, AND BECOMES UNEVEN WITH THE BODY OF THE VEHICLE. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK
WHILE DRIVING THE VAN AT HIGHWAY SPEED 55MPH VAN PULLED TO THE RIGHT. VAN WAS BROUGHT TO THE DEALERSHIP. SOME ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE, BUT THE VAN CONTINUED TO PULL TO THE RIGHT. VAN WAS BROUGHT TO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN ON JAN, 22,2000. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
THE RIGHT SLIDING DOOR OPENS WHILE DRIVING WITHOUT MANUAL OPERATION. ALSO, DOOR BECOMES STUCK. PASSENGERS CANNOT ENTER OR EXIT VEHICLE. DEALER CANNOT IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
IN REVERSE GEAR AND GOING BACK TWO FEET, CONSUMER WILL HEAR A LOUD CLUNK NOISE AS THOUGH IT'S GOING INTO ANOTHER GEAR. DEALER WILL REPLACE TRANSMISSION. *AK
OPENING THE LEFT SIDE SLIDING DOOR FOR FILLING GAS CAUSES THE DOOR TO JAM AGAINST GAS FLAP AND NOZZLE RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO GAS FLAP HINGE AND TANK. YH
THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR IS STICKING. YH
RIGHT FRONT AND REAR WHEEL OUT OF ALIGNMENT, ALREADY HAD PERFORMED ALIGNMENT TWICE, CAR STILL PULL TO RIGHT; BODY RATTLE SINCE NEW. BROUGHT TO DEALER THREE TIMES, BUT SAID NOTHING CAN BE DONE FOR EITHER PROBLEM. *AK
CAR PULLS TO THE RIGHT AT HIGH WAY SPEEDS. MOST OF THE HONDA HONDA ODYSSEYS HAVE THE SAME PRBLEM. YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL VERY TIGHT TO KEEP THE CAR GOING IN A STRAIGHT LINE. THIS MAKES DRIVING THE CAR DIFFICULT ESPECIALLY FOR WOMEN. IT ALSO CREATES DANGER ON THE HIGHWAY. SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE DEALER COULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY SAID TEY CONTACTED HONDA AND HONDA DOES NOT HAVE A SOLUTION EITHER. *AK
THE AUTOMATIC DOORS DONT STOP CLOSING IF THEY BANG INTO SOMEONE, ONLY AT THE LAST TWO INCHES WILL THE DOOR BOUNCE BACK AND THAT IS ONLY IF IT COMES INTO CONTACT WITH SOMETHING HEAVY.
DOORS DO NOT STOP WHEN CLOSING. HAS HIT PERSON/KIDS. ALSO, CANNOT STOP CLOSING DOOR BY PHYSICAL STRENGTH.
WHILE EXITING PARKING GARAGE UP A STEEP 25 DEGREE INCLINE THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ROLL BACKWARDS AS IF IT WERE IN NEUTRAL, CONSUMER WAS TOLD THAT ALL HONDA TRANSMISSION ROLLS BACKWARDS ON INCLINES (DESIGN). NLM
TRANSMISSION/TORQUE CONVERTER EXHIBITS A METTALIC DRONING NOISE AT APPROXIMATELY 50MPH. NOISE IS ONLY APPARENT WHEN TORQUE CONVERTER LOCKS UP.
TRANSMISSION NOISE, MOST PRONOUNCED AT 1500 RPM AND 50 - 55 MPH, SOUNDS LIKE DRONING, RATTLING, CHATTERING AND DIESELING.*AK

THE PASSENGER DOORS WILL "STICK" AND NOT OPEN FROM INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. THIS HAS HAPPENED BETWEEN 15-20 TIMES. ALWAYS IN HOT WEATHER. HAS BEEN REPORTED ALL TIMES TO LOCAL DEALER. DEALER CLAIMS MANUFACTURER IS AWARE OF PROBLEM AND ARE WORKING ON A SOLUTION. SUGGESTED AND PUT ON TWO SIDED TAPE. DOORS FUNCTIONED FOR AWHILE BUT ARE BEGINNING TO STICK AGAIN. DEALERSHIP UNABLE TO HELP. IS THIS A PROBLEM WITH OTHER VEHICLES OR IS THE ONE I HAVE THE ONLY ONE WITH THE PROBLEM?*AK
REGARDLESS OF HUMIDITY LEVEL, I GET A HORRIBLE STATIC/ELECTRICAL SHOCK EVERY TIME I EXIT THE VEHICLE. THE LOCAL DEALER GAVE ME A HONDA FACT SHEET WITH SUGGESTIONS I.E. USE STATIC GUARD, GROUND WITH KEY IN IGNITION, SPRAY WITH SCOTCH GUARD, HOWEVER, NOTHING REDUCES THE SHOCK! I HATE DRIVING THIS VAN. HONDA NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS. AFTER SPEAKING TO SEVERAL OTHER OWNERS, THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT JUST LIVE WITH IT. IT IS HORRIBLE!*AK
NO LIGHTS, CAN'T START THE CAR. *AK
CANNOT SHIFT INTO LOWER GEARS. STATIC ELECTRICTY EXTREME AFTER DRIVING. SLIDING DOOR WILL NOT ALWAYS OPEN.*AK
SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW: THE REAR SEAT POWER SLIDING DOORS AUTO-REVERSE ONLY WHEN ENCOUNTERING AN OBJECT WITHIN 12 INCHES FROM CLOSURE. IF SOMETHING LARGER , SUCH AS AN ADULT HUMAN BODY, IS IN THE DOORWAY, THE DOOR ACTUALLY INCREASES PRESSURE AGAINST THE OBJECT AND CONTINUES IN THIS MANNER ALL THE WAY TO CLOSURE. THE AUTO-REVERSE FEATURE DOES NOT ENGAGE , EVEN WHEN THE DOOR BECOMES LESS THAN 12 INCHES FROM CLOSURE! MY WIFE EXPERIENCED A BRUISE WHEN SHE WAS IN THE DOORWAY AND MY DAUGHTER MISTAKENLY PULLED THE OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE, STARTING THE DOOR CLOSING, AND THERE WAS NO AUTO-REVERSE. I TOOK IT IN TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIR, AND WAS INFORMED THAT THIS WAS IN FACT HOW IT WAS DESIGNED! I TRIED CONTACTING BOTH THE REGIONAL AND NATIONAL HONDA CUSTOMER RELATIONS DEPARTMENTS TO COMPLAIN, BUT NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. I THINK THIS IS AN OUTRAGEOUS DESIGN FLAW. *AK
BOTH THE REAR SLIDING DOORS ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN IN COLD WEATHER. WE CAN OPEN IT ONLY AFTER THE INTERIOR OF THE VAN WARMS UP CONSIDERABLY. HAVE CONTACTED THE DEALER LAST WINTER AND HE APPLIED GREASE ON THE DOOR SEALS WHICH SEEMED TO FIX THE PROBLEM AT THAT TIME. IT HAS RETURNED AGAIN THIS WINTER. CURRENTLY THE VEHICLE IS UNDER WARRANTY. I AM WORRIED THAT ONCE THE VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY THE DEALER WON'T EVEN TAKE A LOOK AT THE PROBLEM UNLESS I PAY FOR IT. *AK

THE VEHICLE CAN NOT BE PROPERLY ALIGNED PER THE MANUFACTURERS SPEC CAUSING THE CONSUMER TO REPLACE ALL FOUR TIRES DUE TO EXCESSIVE WEAR, WHEN THE ALIGNMENT WAS DONE AT AN OUTSIDE SPECIALTY SHOP THE CAR PULLED TO THE RIGHT, WHEN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT ALIGNED THE VEHICLE IT PULLED TO THE LEFT, IN ORDER FOR THE VEHICLE TO DRIVE STRAIGHT THE ALIGNMENT CAN NOT BE DONE TO PER THE MANUFACTURERS SPECS. WHILE VEHICLE WAS PARKED OVERNIGHT IN A GARAGE SLIDING DOOR CAME OPEN. DEALER HAS NOT SEEN VEHICLE. *AK
RIGHT SLIDING DOOR SPONTANEOUSLY CLOSED CONTACTING (PRESSING ON) OUR SON, WHO WAS LOADING THE CAR.
THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, WITHIN THE FIRST COUPLE INCHES OF ITS TRAVEL, STICKS SO THAT WHEN YOU TRY TO GENTLY ACCELERATE, YOU ARE FORCED TO APPLY EXCESSIVE PRESSURE TO GET PAST THE "STICKING POINT" CAUSING THE CAR TO CHARGE FORWARD. DEALER HAS ALREADY REMOVED CARBON DEPOSITS FROM THROTTLE BODY (1/11/01), BUT PROBLEM IS NOW BACK AND IS SLOWLY GETTING WORSE. I AM CONCERNED THAT UNINTENDED ACCELERATION AND/OR LOSS OF CONTROL COULD RESULT FROM THIS PROBLEM. *AK
ELECTRONIC DOOR CAN STILL BE OPENED BY CONTINUOUSLY JIGGLING OF DOOR, EVEN WHEN GAS CAP DOOR IS OPEN. CONTINUING JIGGLES CAN BYPASS SAFETY FEATURE THAT DOOR SHOULD HAVE AT ALL TIMES. IN OWNER MANUAL ON PAGE 97 IT STATES THIS INFORMAITON. CONSUMER STATES UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD SAFETY FEATURE BE BYPASSED. *AK

POWER SLIDING DOORS FAILED TO REVERSE W/O A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF FORCE. ACCORDING TO HONDA DOORS MUST BE STOPPED SUDDENLY, NOT GRADUALLY
INTERMITTENTLY THROTTLE STICKS WHEN DECELERATING. DEALER HAS CLEANED THROTTLE BODY. HOWEVER, THROTTLE STILL STICKS.*AK CONSUMER HAS SINCE RETURNED TO DEALER ON TWO OCCASIONS, THEY HAVE ORDERED A REPLACEMENT THROTTLE ASSEMBLY. *SLC
THIS IS THE 3RD TIME THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. WE BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE IN 1999, VEHICLE HAD 35 MILES. FIRST BUYER RETURNED VEHICLE BECAUSE OF UNKNOWN TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. AT 31,000 MILES, HAD PROBLEMS SHIFTING INTO SECOND GEAR. MAKING A CLUNK AND HUMMING NOISE, THEN LOOSES POWER AND WHEN PUT IN REVERSE, THERES A CLUNK. TRANSMISSION WAS CHANGED WITHOUT QUESTION. THIS IS THE 3RD TIME, 9/25/01, VEHICLE MAKES A HUMMING NOISE WHEN TRAVELLING EVEN AT 25 MPH GETS WORSE ON FREEWAY, DOESN'T SHIFT INTO 4TH GEAR, LOOSES POWER. ENGINE HUMS LIKE IT'S HARD AT WORK. HEARS CLUNK IN REVERSE GEAR. TOOK VEHICLE INTO ANOTHER DEALER IN RCH. CUCAMONGA. INFORMED THEM OF THE HISTORY. ASST. SERVICE MGR. SAID A CLUTCH SILINOID WOULD BE REPLACED AND 3 TRANSMISSION FLUSHES WERE RECOMMENDED. AFTER FLUSHES WERE DONE, PROBLEM STILL EXISTED. DEALER AGREED TO REPLACE TRANSMISSION BUT THAT IT WAS ON BACK ORDER AND DOESN'T HAVE AN ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL. TRANSMISSION HAS YET TO BE REPLACED. VERY UNSATISFIED AND FEAR OF SERIOUS ACCIDENT!!!*AK
THERE APPEARS TO BE A FLAW IN THE DESIGN OF THE HONDA ODYSSEY BRAKE HARDWARE. SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR, I OCCASIONALLY FELT A VIBRATION IN THE BRAKE PEDAL, WHICH SEEMED LIKE THE ANTI-LOCK FEATURE KICKING IN WHEN IT SHOULDN'T. I LATER REALIZED THE PROBLEM WAS EXCESSIVE HORIZONTAL PLAY IN THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VIBRATION IS MOST EVIDENT ON A BUMPY ROAD. ON A COUPLE OF OCCASIONS WHEN MY SHOE WAS WET, MY FOOT CAME CLOSE TO SLIDING OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL FROM THE VIBRATION, SO THIS PROBLEM IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I HAVE SAT IN A FEW ODYSSEYS AT HONDA DEALERS. IN ONE CASE THE BRAKE PEDAL SEEMED TO HAVE SIGNIFICANTLY LESS PLAY THAN MINE; IN THE OTHERS THE PLAY SEEMED TO BE SIMILAR TO MINE. I DID NOT DRIVE THESE OTHER CARS, BUT I ASSUME THEY WOULD ALSO HAVE THE VIBRATION THAT MINE DOES. THE BRAKE PROBLEM WAS CHECKED AT A HONDA DEALER, AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS "NORMAL". I THEN CALLED HONDA MOTORS, AND THEY ARRANGED TO HAVE MY CAR CHECKED AT ANOTHER DEALER. THEY ACKNOWLEGED THE PLAY AND COMPARED IT TO ANOTHER ODYSSEY AND ALSO CLASSIFIED IT AS "NORMAL".*AK
THE REAR SLIDING PASSENGER DOORS STICK AND ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN WITHOUT A GREAT DEAL OF EFFORT FROM BOTH THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. WE BOUGHT THIS VAN BECAUSE OF IT'S HIGH SAFETY RATING AND IT'S USED TO TRANSPORT OUR SEVEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT, IF IT WAS NECESSARY TO EXIT FROM EITHER OF THE REAR DOORS IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO DO SO. I HAVE TALLKED TO SEVERAL OTHER ODYSSEY OWNERS AND THEY ALL SEEM TO HAVE TH SAME COMPLAINT ABOUT THE DOORS. WE HAVE COMPLAINED TO BLUFF CITY HONDA ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND THEY SEEM TO HAVE MADE AN EFFORT BUT THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. THIS MAY SOUND LIKE A MINOR INCONVENIENCE BUT I BELIEVE IT TO BE A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN. TO
WHEN POWER DOORS ARE CLOSED USING HANDLE, IF RESISTANCE IS ENCOUNTERED, THE DOOR CLOSES WITH INCREASED FORCE AND DOES NOT SHOP. WHEN A ROLL OF PAPER TOWELS IS PUT INTO THE DOOR, THE DOOR DESTROYED THE PAPER TOWELS.
WHEN DOORS ARE UNLOCKED BY MASTER LOCK, SLIDING DOORS DO NOT OPEN FROM OUTSIDE OF VEHICLE. DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
WE WERE TOLD THE AUTOMATIC DOORS HAVE SENSORS SIMILAR TO THOSE OF GARAGE DOOR OPENERS-THEY DO NOT AND IT TAKES A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF ADULT FORCE TO OPEN THE DOOR WHEN IT CLOSES ON A PEROSN OR BODY PART. ACHILD COULD EASILY BE CRUSHED BY THIS MECHANISM.*AK
I AM FILING THIS WITH YOU BECAUSE I CANT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND HONDAS LOGIC IN DEALING WITH A SERIOUS SAFETY EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION ON A NEWER CAR THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE UNDER WARRANTY. THE SPECIFIC PROBLEM IS THAT THE MIDDLE PASSENGER SIDE SEATBELT ON MY 2000 HONDA ODYSSEY EX HAS BROKEN AND WILL NOT RETRACT. THE GENERAL PROBLEM IS THAT I NEED TO GO ALL THE WAY TO CANADA FROM SEATTLE TO GET IT FIXED. MY WIFE AND I PURCHASED OUR 2000 HONDA ODYSSEY EX FOUR MONTHS AGO WITH 29,000 MILES ON IT. THE VAN WAS PURCHASED FROM A PRIVATE PARTY WHO HAD BOUGHT IT WITH 192 MILES ON IT FROM A DEALER. WITH THE PURCHASE CAME AN EXTENDED WARRANTY LEADING US TO ASSUME THAT WE WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF IF THE HONDA ODYSSEY EX HAD ANY SERIOUS PROBLEMS. I THINK OF A BROKEN SEATBELT THAT HOLDS IN MY CHILDREN AS A SERIOUS PROBLEM. MY REGULAR MECHANIC TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER BECAUSE HE SAID HONDA HAS A LIFETIME WARRANTEE ON THEIR SEATBELTS. MY EXTENDED WARRANTEE COMPANY (HERITAGE) DOES NOT COVER SEATBELTS OR AIRBAGS BUT INSISTED THAT HONDA SHOULD. WE TOOK IT TO A HONDA DEALER (BURIEN HONDA) WHO SAID THAT SEATBELTS ARE ALWAYS COVERED BY HONDA. THEY TOOK MY INFO AND SAID THEY WOULD ORDER THE PARTS. A FEW HOURS LATER I GOT A CALL FROM THE DEALER STATING THAT BECAUSE THE CAR HAS A VIN INDICATING IT WAS PURCHASED IN CANADA IT WAS NOT COVERED. I THEN CALLED HONDA (IN AMERICA) CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER THEY WERE NICE BUT TOLD ME THAT CARS SOLD IN CANADA ARE NOT COVERED BY HONDA WE DID NOT KNOW THE VEHICLE WAS FROM CANADA, ALTHOUGH THAT SHOULD NOT MATTER. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT ALL 2000 HONDA ODYSSEYS WERE MADE IN CANADA AND ALL HAVE THE SAME FAMILIAR HONDA LOGO ON THE HOOD. I CAN NOT IMAGINE SEAT BELTS BEING VERY DIFFERENT BETWEEN CANADA AND AMERICA. IN AN AUTO ACCIDENT, SOMEONE COULD GET INJURED OR EVEN KILLED BECAUSE OF THIS BROKEN SEATBELT. THIS IS THE SECOND REPORT I HAVE FILED ON THIS PROBLEM. THE FIRST WAS 2 WEEKS AGO. EVERYTIME I GET INJURED, I AM REMINDED! THIS MORNING WHILE BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVE AT LESS THAN 5 MILES AN HOUR, THE CONVERTIBLE ROOF STRUCTURE, IMPACTED MY LEFT TEMPLE. I STILL HAVE A HEADACHE. THE SUPPORTING FRAME OF HTE CONVERTIBLE TOP IS ABOUT TWO INCHES AWAY FROM LEFT TEMPLE. ANY PASSENGER TALLER THAN 5'11" HAS THE SAME PROBLEM ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE. A SIMPLE SOLUTION WOULD BE TO INSTALL SEATS THAT SEAT PASSENGER AND DRIVER LOWER IN THE CAR. EITHER BY LOWERING THE SEAT RAILS OR A DIFFERENT SEAT WOULD WORK. I HAVE TOLD MY WIFE IF I SUFFER A HEAD INJURY IN THIS CAR, THAT SHE HAS GROUNDS TO FILE A LAWSUIT. I WOULD MUCH RATHER NOT BE THE CAUSE! I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND MY PREVIOUS COMPLAINT WHEN I SEARCHED YOUR DATABASE. I HAVE REPORTEDC THIS PROBLEM TO HONDA AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WON'T FIX IT. I AM NOW RESEARCHING OTHER AVENUES TO GET THIS PROBLEM RESOLVED. PLEASE HELP, MY NEXT STEP WILL BE TO COMPLAIN TO MY FEDERAL REPRESENTATIVES.*AK
