NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
MOTOR TICKS VERY LOUD USES A QUART AND A HALF OF OIL EVERY 500 MILES IS NOT LEAKING IT OUT BUT BURNING IT OCCASIONALLY MAKES A GRINDING NOISE AND DOESN'T WANT TO START.
THE STEERING COLUMN IS MAKING A CLUNKING NOISE. MAY NEED TO REPLACE WHOLE STEERING COLUMN IN CASE IT GOES OUT.
STABILITY CONTROL MALFUNCTION, I LOSE CONTROL AND THE BRAKE APPLIED UNEXPECTEDLY AND THE CRASH MY CAR I AM OK BUT I HAVE DAMAGE IN MY CAR. I WENT TO DEALER FOR THIS RECALL AND THEY DID NOT FIXED NOW I DONT KNOW IF THEY ARE GOING TO PAY FOR IT
I WAS SLOWLY GOING INTO MY PARKING SPOT AND THE CAR SUDDENLY ACCELERATED AND LURCHED FORWARD. I TRIED TO BRAKE, DIDN'T SEEM TO DO ANY GOOD. IT HIT CONCRETE PROTECTING A STREET LIGHT AND WAS SMASHED UP AND STOPPED. IT WAS TERRIFYING. I THE CAR DID THIS ON IT'S OWN. I KNOW WHERE MY FEET WERE AND I WAS IN GOOD SHOES. I'M A CLASSICALLY TRAINED PROFESSIONAL BALLET DANCER AND I KNOW WHERE MY FEET ARE IN SPACE AND WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I DID NOT ACCELERATE, THE CAR DID IT ON ITS OWN LIKE THAT AMOS EPISODE IN DOCTOR WHO. IT WAS TERRIFYING, THIS CAR SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO. IT HAPPENED TWO OTHER TIMES, BUT IT DID IT AND THEN STOPPED. THIS TIME IT STOPPED WHEN IT HIT THE OBJECT. THE CARS I HAD BEFORE NEVER DID THIS. THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR AND I WAS LUCKY I WAS IN A SAFE PLACE.
THE ENGINE STARTED MAKING A SIGNIFICANT KNOCKING SOUND , THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 111000 MILES ON IT, AND THE REPAIR QUOTES ARE $6,500 WHICH IS ALMOST WHAT THE VEHICLE WAS WORTH.
THE DASHBOARD AIRBAG LIGHT HAS COME ON.

THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V871000 (ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL). THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 34,700.
I honestly believe I was ripped off for this vehicle I’ve been having to replace one thing after another since I’d gotten it. The brake system on the front passenger side seems to keep grabbing when I’m not even touching the brake. every time I change the brakes only the front passenger side gets worn down way more then the others. I was thinking it was brake drag, but I litteraly greased my brakes and guide pens then it started making the squeeking noise again when I wasn’t touching the brake. It also compromises my engines functions. my engine lags out and I have a feeling it’s putting more torque into the engine and transmission than it was supposed to, and now is causing problems in them. It causes safety issues because the brakes are one of the most important systems on a vehicle it can cause me a bad accident if the caliper becomes to worn from heat damage, because it excessively is putting pressure on it. I haven’t taken it to the dealership to recreate the issue yet, but I did mention it in the very beginning because I had suspicions of my vehicle having problems, but they said they couldn’t find anything when they ran the vin. They didn’t actually test my vehicle which was what I needed. My check engine light has been on.
AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON FOR NO REASON AND WON'T SHUT OFF. HAVE NOT BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, NOT HAVE I HIT ANY POT HOLES. NO EXPLAINATION
STATE INSPECTION FAILED DUE TO AIRBAG LIGHT THAT CAME ON DAY OF INSPECTION 11/1
WHEN TRYING TO STEER STRAIGHT ESPECIALLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THE STEERING IS DIFFICULT TO MOVE THE SLIGHT AMOUNT NECESSARY TO CONTINUE GOING STRAIGHT.
On 10/30/2019 as I was driving down the highway at 75 mph, my front right coil spring broke and punctured my tire. Fortunately, I was able to get to the side of the road but was not in a safe area, putting others at risk. The faulty coil spring breaking and puncturing my tire could have caused a dangerous accident. Given my high rate of speed, I am very fortunate this did not cause an accident and injure myself or others. My car needed to be towed to a tire place, who discovered the broken coil spring, before again being towed to the dealership for repair. It was diagnosed that the spring broke and bent the seat on the strut assembly. Hyundai replaced my front right strut and spring under warranty but did not compensate for the destroyed tire to be replaced. On 2/6/2023 my other coil spring (left front) snapped as well. Fortunately it was where I park outside of my house so no tire was punctured and a potential accident was avoided. I just noticed it on the ground when I got out of my car. Hyundai has issued a front coil spring recall but only recalled a small window of manufacturer dates (11/12/10 to 3/31/11) and mine is not included as it was manufactured 8/23/11. It is very unlikely Hyundai changed their coil spring just before manufacturing my car less than 5 months later. There are several people on car forums that also say their car experienced the broken coil spring but their manufactured date is outside of the recall window. The recall is due to rust being in "Salt-Belt states" which my state of MN is included. Given that now both of my coil springs have now broken as well as the other horror stories online, I firmly believe Hyundai needs to expand the recall window to include more manufactured dates and fix their faulty part to avoid a public safety risk due to a tire blow out from the faulty spring breaking.
ON 10/28/19 I WAS DRIVING WHEN OUT OF NOWHERE THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD TURNED ON AFTER A FEW MINUTES IT TURNED OFF AND THEN IT TURNED BACK ON. I WASN'T IN ANY CAR ACCIDENT AND I'M CURRENTLY USING MY CAR WITH THE LIGHT ON. ON A DIFFERENT OCCASION, I ALSO HAVE TAKEN THE CAR IN FOR A CLINKING NOISE WHEN STEERING AND THE DEALERSHIP SWORE TO NEVER HEAR THE NOISE NOW MY CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY AND IT STILLS MAKING THAT NOISE. IT WAS THE SAME NOISE IT MADE WHEN THE RIGHT AXLE IN MY CAR HAD TO BE REPLACED. AS WELL, AS CHANGING THE HARNESS ON MY REAR LIGHTS BECAUSE THE BRAKE LIGHTS KEPT BURNING OUT AND I WAS CONSTANTLY CHANGING THEM OUT.

WHILE DRIVING, MY AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. I WAS NOT IN AN ACCIDENT NOR DID I DRIVE OVER ANY BUMPS IN THE ROAD. IT GOES OFF, THEN COMES BACK ON AGAIN.
MY 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA HAS STARTED WITH LOOSE STEERING AND A LOUD CLUNKING NOISE EACH TIME THE WHEEL IS TURNED EITHER WAY. I HAVE CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID MY WARRANTY IS NOT COVERED. I HAVE READ A NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM FROM OTHER OWNERS. I HAVE ALSO ASKED MULTIPLE OF MECHANICS AND THEY HAVE SAID THE SAME THING THAT HYUNDAI ELANTRAS ARE KNOW FOR STEERING WHEEL PROBLEMS. THE DEALERSHIP WANTS $135.00 TO LOOK AT IT, I'M SURE IT'S A MANUFACTURING PROBLEM AND SHOULD BE RECALLED OR COVERED. THIS OCCURS WHEN IN MOTION OR STATIONARY. IF YOUR ON THE HIGHWAY GOING AT A HIGH SPEED IT FEELS UNSAFE AND YOUR PUTTING YOUR FAMILY AT RISK.

NOISY STEERING.PLAY IN WHEEL . NOISES AS TURED LEFT AND RIGHT. EITHER STILL OR ON MOTION. CLICKING/CLUNKING SOUND. SAW VIDEO ABOUT STEERING COUPLING. THAT SEEMS TO BE THE SOUND ...TO MY UNTRAINED EAR.
I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROM A PERSON NOT DEALER. HYUNDAI WAS MINT CONDITION. DRIVES SMOOTH. ITS KEPT UP AND ONLY SERVICED AT HYUNDAI..144,000 MILES. MY 3RD DAY HAVING THIS CAR THE ENGINE TICKS AND KNOCKS. WHEN CHECKING THE ENGINE I LITERALLY BURNED MY FINGER TOUCHING THE ENGINE IT WAS SO HOT I HAD A BLISTER THE CAR RAN FOR 1 MINUTE NOT EVEN. I RESEARCHED THIS AND THOUSANDA OD CONSUMERS HAVE HAD ENGINE AND KNOCKING ALSO THIS LEFT ME STRANDED IN FREEZING WEATHER ON A COUNTRY ROAD WITH MY BORN AND SHE GOT RSV
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. WHILE THE CONTACT'S SON WAS TAKING OUT THE TRASH, HE NOTICED THAT THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED ON THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO TURN THE BRAKE LIGHTS OFF, BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE CONTACT UNPLUGGED THE FUSE BOX IN ORDER FOR THE BRAKE LIGHTS TO TURN OFF. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED THE CONTACT WITH REFERENCE NUMBER: 16138484. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 104,339.
THE BACK END SWAYS SIGNIFICANTLY BACK AND FORTH WHENEVER THE CAR GOES OVER AN UNEVEN BUMP IN THE ROAD (AS LONG AS BOTH SIDES DON'T HIT AT THE EXACT SAME TIME). I'VE DONE RESEARCH ON THE ISSUE, AND FOUND THAT THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF REPORTS/FORUMS ALL REPORTING THE SAME PROBLEM. MANY PEOPLE ARE REPORTING COMPLETE LOSS OF CONTROL LEADING TO CRASHES, WHICH I DO NOT FIND HARD TO BELIEVE. IT TAKES AN EFFORT, WITH GOOD DRIVING CONDITIONS TO KEEP THE VEHICLE FROM SWERVING. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW EASY IT WOULD BE TO LOSE CONTROL AND GO INTO A SPIN DURING RAINY OR SNOWY CONDITIONS.
WAS TURNING OFF A HIGHWAY INTO A MINOR ROAD AND WAS T-BONED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BY ANOTHER CAR. FOLLOWING THE IMPACT MY SEAT BELT (WHICH I ALWAYS SECURE UPON ENTERING MY CAR) HAD SNAPPED OPEN AND WAS JUST HANGING LOOSE ACROSS MY SHOULDER. THE FORCE OF THE IMPACT FORCED THE SNAPPING DEVICE OPEN. THE RESULT WAS MORE FORCE PLACED ON MY WRIST ON THE STEERING AND A SPRAINED WRIST AMONG OTHER...
AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON INTERMITTENTLY, AND WILL NOT TURN OFF NOW, EVEN WHEN VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. AFTER RESEARCHING IVE SEEN THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE BUT HAVE HEARD IT IS AN EXPENSIVE FIX. A RECALL IS NECESSARY!!!

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THORNTON ROAD HYUNDAI (669 THORNTON RD, LITHIA SPRINGS, GA) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 1420002. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON, BAD CLOCK SPRING. *TR
DRIVING IN A 35 MPH ZONE WHEN I DROVE OVER A SMALL POTHOLE. THE CAR MADE A LONG BANG NOISE, CAR BEGAN TO SWAY SIDE TO SIDE UNCONTROLLABLY. I LEARNED THAT MY COIL SPRINGS WERE SEVERELY DAMAGED AND HAD BENDED MY RIMS OF THE WHEELS INWARDS, AND THUS MY REAR WHEELS BECAME DEFLATED. HAD TO CHANGE THE COIL SPRINGS AND RIMS, BUT I NOTICED THAT 3-4 MONTHS LATER, THE COIL SPRINGS AND SHOCKS ARE DETERIORATING ONCE AGAIN AND CONTINUE TO HAVE THE LOUD BANG NOISES AND CAR DROPS HEAVILY AFTER GOING OVER SPEED BUMPS. ALSO, CAR IS HARD TO KEEP STEADY IN AREAS WHERE THERE IS WIND EVEN IN THE MILDEST FORMS, WHICH IS SCARY WHEN THERE IS HIGH WINDS DURING MY COMMUTE IN THE FALL AND WINTER. CAR WILL BE SWAYING SIDE TO SIDE EVEN WHEN DRIVING WAY BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT (SAY 30 IN A 50 MPH ZONE, OR 40 ON FREEWAY). *TR
WHILE TRAVELING ON A CITY STREET AT ABOUT 20 MPH, I HIT A POTHOLE WITH MY 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA AND THE CAR CAME TO A STOP, AFTERWARD THE TIRE BURST. NOISE WAS A LOUD RUBBING SOUND COMING FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER WHEEL. A DEFECTIVE STRUT COIL/SPRING RIPPED AND CUT THROUGH THE INNER SIDE WALL OF THE TIRE. AAA TOWED MY CAR TO ONE OF THEIR REPAIR SHOPS. TOTAL COST OF NEW STRUTS AND TIRE WAS $895.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND ONLY ACCELERATED TO 20 MPH. THE VEHICLE ALSO STALLED WHILE AT A COMPLETE STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT A FAILURE CODE COULD NOT BE FOUND. THE MECHANIC CLEANED ALL THE SENSORS; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY WAS CAUSING THE VEHICLE NOT TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 15986313. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 157,607.
AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AT 197,000 MILES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN ANY TYPE OF ACCIDENT WHERE THE AIRBAG DEPLOYED.
THIS VEHICLE I HAVE TO THE MECHANIC SEVERAL TIMES THIS YEAR AND IT FIXED THE YELLOW LIGHT GOES OFF FOR TWO MONTHS OR SO AND COMES BACK ON AGAIN. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR THE PAST YEAR.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH THE CAR WENT OVER A SMALL BUMP AND DRIVER FELT AN ODD VIBRATING FEEL FROM THE CAR. THERE WAS A HUGE AMOUNT OF WHITE SMOKE VISIBLE IN REAR VIEW MIRROR BEHIND THE CAR. DRIVER PULLED OVER AND FOUND THE DRIVER SIDE STRUT COIL SPRING HAD BURST THRU THE STRUT MOUNT AND WAS RUBBING AGAINST THE TIRE SIDEWALL OF THE TIRE. DRIVER REPLACED THE TIRE WITH THE DOUGH NUT SPARE TIRE, WHICH WAS SMALL ENOUGH TO AVOID THE EXTENDED SPRING, AND CAREFULLY DROVE HOME. DRIVER REPLACED THE STRUT HIMSELF AS CAR HAD 170K MILES AND OUT OF WARRENTY.
AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON AND HAS NOT TURNED BACK OFF
THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT CAME ON SPONTANEOUSLY AT ABOUT 104,000 MILES.
WITH THE ENGINE STARTED AND IN PARK YOU CAN TURN THE STEERING WHEEL RIGHT OR LEFT AND IT HAS A THUMPING NOISE. IT SEEMS LIKE IT DOESN'T AFFECT THE STEERING BUT THIS IS THE CAR MY WIFE DRIVES AND IT MAKES HER VERY NERVOUS. IT MAKES YOU VERY UNCOMFORTABLE DRIVING THE CAR BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW IF THE STEERING WHEEL IS GOING TO LOCK UP AND CAUSE A SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
THE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON DID MY RESEARCH AND IT'S A COMMON PROBLEM. THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL
GOING OVER A STANDARD LOW GRADE SPEED BUMP. MY DRIVER SIDE COIL SPRING SNAPPED. THIS WAS REPLACED BY THE DEALER UNDER WARRANTY. SHOULD THEY HAVE DONE THE PASSENGER SIDE PREVENTIVELY?
TAKATA RECALL. I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER IN 2016 AROUND THE TIME A RECAL FOR IT WENT OUT AND I DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL TODAY. MY CAR SOMETIMES TAKES TWO TIMES TO ACTUALLY START. I TURN KEY AND HAVE TO EITHER HOLD IT OR STOP AND DO IT AGAIN. MY CAR HYDROPLANES EXTREMELY EASILY COMPARED TO OTHER VEHICLES. NORMALLY IT IS ONLY A SECOND BESIDES THE TIME I REAR ENDED SOMEONE WITH NO BAD WEATHER THEN ANOTHER WHILE IT WAS RAINING AND I LOST COMPLETE CONTROL AND THANK GOD NO ONE WAS AROUND ME AND I AM USED TO THE VEHICLE SO I COULD GAIN CONTROL AGAIN TRULY A MIRACLE. OTHER SMALLER ISSUES I IGNORE.
MY 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA STARTED MAKING A TICKING/ KNOCKING NOISE IN THE ENGINE. I GOOGLED THE PROBLEM AND FOUND THAT MANY PEOPLE WERE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. IT WAS A MISSED STEP WHEN BUILDING THE ENGINE. THE NOISE IS CALLED PISTON SLAP. IT'S HAPPENING TO A LOT OF HYUNDAI'S FROM 2011-2016 ELANTRA AND SONATAS. HYUNDAI DIDN'T DO A RECALL BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO FOOT THE COST OF REPLACING THE ENGINES. I TOOK MY CAR TO HYUNDAI OF SOUTH BRUNSWICK NJ ON 7/3/19 NO ONE CALLED ME UNTIL 7/9/19 I CALLED EVERYDAY 3-4 TIMES A DAY AND KEPT BEING TRANSFERED TO LEAVE VOICE MAILS, I LEFT MESSAGES AND NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. ON 7/9/19 I WAS CALLED AND TOLD IT WOULD COST ME 6,766.00 TO REPLACE MY ENGINE. I BELIEVE HYUNDAI SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENGINE WHEN THEY'RE AWARE OF THIS ISSUE AND HAVE NOT DONE A RECALL. THE PROBLEM HAPPENED JUST STARTING THE CAR ONE MORNING AND THE NOISE GOT LOUDER EACH DAY.
I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS VEHICLE. I HAVE HAD FOUR INSTRUMENT CLUSTERS REPLACED DUE TO THE DISPLAY PANEL FADING IN THE HOT WEATHER. THE PROBLEM IS HAPPENING AGAIN AND IT WOULD APPEAR THAT I NOW NEED A 5TH INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. SURELY, THERE MUST BE SOME THING THAT HYUNDAI CAN DO TO FIX THIS ONGOING ISSUE. THE ODOMETER, MILEAGE RANGE AND GEAR POSITION DISPLAY ARE AFFECTED.
SSRS LIGHT CAME ON AND WON'T TURN OFF. IN MOTION ON THE CITY STREET

THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND FILED A REPORT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN MOVED AND CONTINUED TO BE PARKED AT CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT CALLED TO THE LOCAL DEALER HYUNDAI DE HORMIGUEROS LOCATED AT CARR #2 KM 165.7 BO. LAVADERO, HORMIGUEROS, 00660, PUERTO RICO, 1 787-849-6000 AND HAD BEEN MADE AWARE OF FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED AS OF YET. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 135,000.
MY 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA HAS STARTED WITH LOOSE STEERING AND A LOUD CLUNKING NOISE EACH TIME THE WHEEL IS TURNED EITHER WAY. I HAVE CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID MY WARRANTY IS NOT COVERED (64,000 MILES). I HAVE READ A NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM FROM OTHER OWNERS. THEY WANT $135.00 TO LOOK AT IT, I'M SURE IT'S A MANUFACTURING PROBLEM AND SHOULD BE RECALLED OR COVERED. THIS OCCURS WHEN IN MOTION AND STATIONARY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BACK OVER PREVENTION CAMERA INTERMITTENTLY FAILED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN REVERSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SCREEN FAILED TO AND PROVIDE AN IMAGE WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS SHIFTED INTO REVERSE. THE CONTACT CALLED LARSON HYUNDAI (7601 S. TACOMA WAY, TACOMA, WA 98409, (253) 590-4527) AND THE DEALER ACKNOWLEDGED THE FAILURE HOWEVER, INSISTED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE CONTACT WAS THEN REFERRED TO THE NHTSA FOR ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE REPAIR WAS NOT COVERED UNDER RECALL OR WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT BACK TO THE DEALER FOR ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 67,000.
PARKING BRAKE WARNING LIGHT INDICATOR ON THE DASH BOARD DISPLAY: THE PARKING BRAKE WARNING LIGHT DOES NOT ALWAYS DISPLAY WHEN THE PARKING BRAKE IS ENGAGED. THIS PROBLEM IS INTERMITTENT AND OFTEN CAUSES A PROBLEM WITH DRIVING. WHEN THE LIGHT DOES NOT DISPLAY WHILE THE PARKING BRAKE IS INDEED "ON" THE DRIVER IS NOT ALERTED BY THE WARNING LIGHT AND EXPECTS TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE IN THE DRIVE OR REVERSE POSITION. THE CAUSES A DANGEROUS SITUATION WHEREBY PRESSING ON THE ACCELERATOR DOES NOT MOVE THE CAR AS INTENDED. IT WILL NOT MOVE FROM A STOPPED POSITION, MOVES VERY SLOWLY OR LURCHES.

AIR BAG LIGHT ON, SENSOR UNDER PASSENGER SEAT DEFECTIVE. $2000 TO REPLACE! IT CAME ON AFTER STARTING.
WAS DRIVING CAR MADE A BANG NOISE, PULLED OVER FOUND COIL SPRING BROKE ON FRONT DRIVERS SIDE. HAD TO CALL TOLL TRUCK. CAR HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. THANK GOD I WASN'T ON HIGHWAY GOING 55 MPH. COULD HAVE BEEN A BAD ACCIDENT AND PEOPLE COULD HAVE GOT HURT . THERE WAS NO WARNING !
BOTH FRONT SHOCKS HAVE BROKEN DURING DRIVING AND PUNCTURED THE INSIDE OF THE FRONT TIRES, CAUSING ME TO DRIVE OFF THE ROAD. THE SHOCKS DID NOT BREAK AT THE SAME TIME (FRONT PASSENGER SNAPPED FIRST AND THE FRONT DRIVER ABOUT 6000 MILES LATER.) THE FRONT PASSENGER BROKE WHEN DRIVING ON A CITY STREET AND THE FRONT DRIVER BROKE WHILE STATIONARY IN MY DRIVEWAY. THIS VEHICLE HAS UNDER 130,000 MILES, BUT HAS BEEN IN MIDWEST WINTERS FOR AT LEAST THE PAST 6 YEARS.
