REAR SUBFRAME ROTTED OUT AGAIN AFTER BEING REPLACED FOR A RECALL 5 YEARS AGO! WENT O GET A STICKER AND THEY SAID IT WAS ROTTED. GOING TO A HYUNDAI DEAL ON MONDAY THE 23RD TO FILE A COMPLAINT JUST WANTED TO GET THE CALL STARTED
The contact owns a 2006 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that the brake pedal would fail to respond intermittently, causing her to depress it excessively. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the brakes; however, after the repair, the brake pedal failed to operate. The contact stated that the head lamps also had failed to operate as needed. The bulbs were replaced; however, the driver's side headlamp failure recurred. The bulb was replaced; however, the low-beam failed to illuminate and the high-beam was illuminating with inadequate lighting. Additionally, the contact stated that while at a complete stop after refueling the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start immediately. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle after several attempts. The vehicle was pushed back to the residence with assistance. The ABS, ECS, brakes, and check engine warning lights were illuminated. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact associated the failures to NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 08E021000 (Exterior Lighting), 13V354000 (Suspension) and 18V026000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 176,000.
REPLACED ALTERNATOR DUE TO FAULTY LEAK OIL GASKETS. OIL LEAKS ONTO ALTERNATOR IN 3.3 LITER V6 SONATA. THIS WILL BE THE SECOND ALTERNATOR IN LESS THAN A YR. I ALSO READ IN A AUTO FORUM OTHERS HAVE COMPLAINED OF THE SAME ISSUE. THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS CAUSING CAR TO JUST DIE WITH LITTLE WARNING OTHER THAN BATTERY LIGHT LIGHTING UP ON DASHBOARD. VEHICLE BARELY MADE IT HOME.

THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH THE VEHICLE UNEXPECTEDLY SWERVED AND THE STEERING WHEEL HAD NO RESISTANCE WITH THE ESC LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO (PLAZA HYUNDAI 2740 NOSTRAND AVE #2, BROOKLYN, NY 11210) FOR A DIAGNOSTIC EXAM. THE DIAGNOSIS WAS THAT THE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR, ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR FRONT PASSENGER, FRONT PASSENGER AXLE HAD FAILED. HOWEVER THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATELY 140,000. PASSENGER OCCUPANT WEIGHT SENSOR IS SHOWING AN TROUBLE CODE B1448. NO DAMAGE TO SEAT OR ANY REASON WHY THIS SHOULD HAPPEN. WHY SHOULD I BE RESPONSIBLE FOR A MALFUNCTIONING SENSOR?
PASSENGER OCCUPANT WEIGHT SENSOR IS SHOWING AN TROUBLE. THE PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT REMAIN ON ALWAYS. I TAKE THE CAR INTO A HYUNDAI DEALER WITH THE RECALL I ENCLOSED AND THEY DONT APPROVE IT.
PASSENGER SEAT BELT TAKES SEVERAL TIMES TO REMAIN SECURED AND LOCKED. HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT POSITIONED PROPERLY. AT NIGHT THE ROAD IS BARELY VISIBLE AND COULD VERY EASILY LEAD TO A CRASH IF NOT PROVIDING PROPER ATTENTION AND FOCUS TO ROAD. *TR
WHILE DRIVING OUR 2006 I NOTICED AFTER STOPPING AT A STORE AND GOT BACK IN IT WAS HARD TO START. IT FINALLY DID START, THIS HAD NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. AS I WAS DRIVING I NOTICED THE GAS GAUGE HAD MOVED FROM 3/4 OF A TANK TO 1/2. I THOUGHT MAYBE I JUST LOOKED AT IT WRONG. BUT BY THE NEXT STOP LIGHT I WAS DOWN TO 1/4 TANK. BY THIS TIME I WAS CLOSED TO HOME, SO WHEN GOT HOME AND GOT OF THE CAR I NOTICED A TRAIL OF GAS BEHIND ME. I LOOKED UNDER THE CAR AND GAS WAS POURING DOWN FROM THE GAS TANK ON TOP OF EXHAUST. HOW IT DIDN'T CATCH ON FIRE I HAVE NO IDEA. I FOUND THAT THE GAD LINE FROM THE FUEL PUMP TO THE MAIN GAS LINE HAD RUSTED AND UNDER PRESSURE IT BLEW. THANK GOD WE DINT GIVE THIS CAR TO OUR GRANDDAUGHTER AS WE WERE IN THE PROCESS OF DOING.
I HEARD REALLY LOUD SOUND IN THE ENGINE BUT THERE'S NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. AFTER OF FEW DAYS OF DRIVING AND THE DAY I DECIDED TO BRING IT TO THE MECHANIC, FEW MILES AWAY FROM THE SHOP THE THE LOUD NOISE IN THE ENGINE IS GONE THEN CHECK ENGINE SHOW UP AND THE OIL PAN APPEARS. THE MECHANIC SAID IT WAS THE OIL PUMP AND THEY SAID THERE'S A METAL SHAVING INSIDE THE ENGINE, WHEN THEY DRAIN THE ENGINE OIL.

TAKATA RECALL MY CAR CAUGHT ON FIRE AS I WAS DRIVING IT DOWN THE ROAD.
CAR STALLED AND LOCKED UP THREE TIMES WHILE DRIVING ON A CITY STREET. HAD THE CAR TOWED TO THE HYUNDAI SERVICE CENTER AND WAS TOLD IT IS THE ABS CONTROL MODULE THAT IS MALFUNCTIONING. THE ABS MODULE RECALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN EXPANDED AS I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE UNTIL NOW.
AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. KEY HYUNDAI MILFORD CT SENT SEAT OUT FOR RECALIBRATION AT 40,000 MILES. THEY REPLACED THE SEAT BELT BUCKLES AT 45,000 MILES. AIRBAG LIGHT IS STILL ON. KEY HYUNDAI TOLD US THEY CANNOT HELP. NOW KEY TELLS US THAT THE SEAT BELT BUCKLES MUST BE REPLACE, AGAIN, AT OUR COST. HYUNDAI CORPORATE WON'T HELP. WE ARE DRIVING WITH AN APPARENTLY IN-OPERABLE AIRBAG SYSTEM.
TAKATA RECALL 1)WHEN THE ENGINE WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET IN A SPEED OF 25 MPH OR LOWER WHOLE BODY IS SHAKING AND VIBRATING LIKE PULLING UP AND DOWN CONTINUOUSLY. 2)IN MOTION SOMETIMES ENGINE IS DOING SOME DIFFERENT KIND OF NICE AND IT LOSES ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL. 3) AND MY AIR BAG LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON. 4) OVERALL MY CAR IS GIVING SO LESS MILEAGE THAN EXPECTED BY YOU .
ESC/ABS LIGHTS CAME ON WHILE DRIVING AND WAS HARD TO CONTROL THE CAR ACCELERATION WAS HARD AND BRAKING SEEMED TO GO DOWN LOW ENOUGH TO SCARE YOU. I MADE IT HOME THE LIGHTS WENT OFF BUT BACK ON ANOTHER DOING THE SAME THING HAPPENED WHERE ACCELERATION SEEMED TO BE DRAGGING ANF BRAKES FELT LOW THIS IS DANGEROUS AND NOW I DO NOT DRIVE IT SINCE THESE LIGHTS COME ON OFTEN. I HAD THE CAR CHECKED AND DTC CODES SHOW MULTIPLE CODE FOR ABS, ESC, AIRBAGS ALL OF WHICH HAVE BEEN FIXED BUT THAT DID NOT HELP THE ESC/ABS LIGHT STILL COME AND MAKE BRAKING/ACCELERATION HARD AT TIMES.
FRONT SUSPENSION "WHEEL CONTROL FORK" BOLTS MUST CONSTANTLY BE TIGHTENED EVERY FEW WEEKS OR THE BOLTS WILL COME LOOSE CAUSING A "KNOCKING" NOISE WHILE DRIVING. IF LEFT UNTIGHTENED THE FORK WILL COME DISCONNECTED FROM THE SUSPENSION CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL AND POSSIBLE CAR CRASH.
TAKATA RECALL: MY AIRBAG LIGHT STARTED FLASHING, NOW IT WILL NOT GO OFF.
BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH DID NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY. IT CAUSED THE BRAKE LIGHTS TO FLASH ERRATICALLY. THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH WAS REPLACED AND THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED. THE SEVICE AIR BAG INDICATOR LIGHT IS ON CONSTANTLY.
FUEL SMELL COMING FROM THE VEHICLE WHEN I FILL TO A FULL TANK
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING LOW SPEEDS, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. ALSO, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WHEN ATTEMPTING TO TURN LEFT. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DOES NOT DISPLAY THE CORRECT MILEAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE HARMONIC BALANCER FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
I'M HAVING A FEW ISSUES WITH MY CAR. SOME OF THE ISSUES I'M HAVING ARE: MY LIGHTING/HEADLIGHTS, MY FUEL LINES ARE COMPLETELY RUSTED OUT AND CAUSE GAS TO LEAK FROM MY VEHICLE, IT SOMETIMES WILL NOT START OR TURN ALL THE WAY OVER, AND THE BRAKES ON MY CAR. I HAVE LOOKED UP SOME RECALLS FOR MY SPECIFIC TYPE OF CAR AND SOME OF THEM MATCH THE ISSUES OF WHICH I'M CURRENTLY HAVING. ALL OF THE ISSUES I HAVE ARE VERY DANGEROUS AND WOULD BE DANGEROUS FOR OTHER DRIVERS AROUND ME.
DRIVER SIDE (LEFT) REAR SUSPENSION ARM ROTTED OFF . LOOKS LIKE WHERE IT WAS ATTACTED TO CAR, METAL ALL RUSTED .CAR WAS IN MOTION ON A HIGHWAY RT 611 WHEN IT BROKE, HAD A VERY HARD TIME KEEPING IT ON ROAD TILL WE COULD PULL OFF. NO PHOTO AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

AS I WAS SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY, THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. IT WAS GOING ON AND OFF THEN STAYING OFF WHILE DRIVING. IT IS NOW STEADILY ON. ALSO, SUDDENLY THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT UNBUCKLE LIGHT NOW FLASHES CONTINUOUSLY, AND ONLY GOES OUT OF I BUCKLE THE SEAT BELT OR OF SOMEONE SITS ON SEAT AND BUCKLES IT. I ENTERED THE VIN ON HYUNDAI WEBSITE AND THEY VERIFY NO OPEN RECALLS. THIS ISSUE INITIALLY STARTED AT IDLE IN MY DRIVEWAY SHORTLY AFTER START THE CAR.

AIR BAG LIGHTS ARE ON, THE DAEALER SAY THERE IS NO RECALLON THE AIR BAG FOR MY CAR. AT ONE POINT I RECIEVED A NOTICE BUT DONT REMEMBER TAKING IT TO THE DEALER DUE TO MY BEING OUT OF TOWN THAN IN. THE LIGHT STAY ON ALL THE TIME WHILE THE IGNITIONIS ON. NOT THE PASSENGER BUT THE DRIVER SIDE.
MY AIRBAG LIGHT ON MY CAR TURNED ON ONE MORNING WHEN I WAS DRIVING IT
THE CRUISE CONTROL COMES ON BY ITSELF DURING NORMAL DRIVING. AFTER THE "CRUISE" LIGHT COMES ON THE "SET" LIGHT ILLUMINATES AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATES WITHOUT WARNING. THE BRAKE WILL MOMENTARILY STOP THE ACCELERATION, BUT THE ACCELERATION RESUMES ONCE THE BRAKE PEDAL IS RELEASED. IT OCCURS ABOVE 25 MPH. IT KEPT ACCELERATING AND WOULD HAVE CONTINUED IF I HADN'T HIT THE BRAKES. I HAPPENS REGULARLY, AND WE HAVE PARKED THE VEHICLE.
I HAD 2006 SONATA ESC LIGHT POPPED UP AND SUDDENLY MY ACCELERATOR PEDAL STOPPED WORKING MY CAR WAS IDEALIZED TO THE SPEED OF 20MPH I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE I WAS JUST SAVED TO MEET AN ACCIDENT. FUSE BOX STARTED HEATING AND IT BURNET I SHUTOFF ENGINE AND THEN STAYED THEIR FOR A WHILE AND THEN I WENT BACK HOME. I THOUGHT ONLY MY CAR HAS THIS PROBLEM BUT THERE ARE MANY MORE CARS WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS I AM NOT USING MY CAR SINCE I CHANGED TPS ASSEMBLY BREAKLIGHT SWITCH FUSE BUT STILL, PROBLEM RESIST THIS MAY CAUSE A BIG ACCIDENT. PLEASE LOOK AFTER THIS SAFETY PROBLEM.
My parking and tail lights do not turn off when I turn off the car when it's dark. I have to turn the headlight switch on and off several times to see if they will turn off. If they do not I have to disconnect the battery so it doesn't discharge. I was told this is a fuse panel issue. If this is a fuse panel issue then I'm concerned what else will go wrong with the fuse panel. If the lights stop working altogether then that will be a problem. I have not taken this vehicle to a dealer due to financial responsibilities. This all started without warning. At about the same time, my ESC turned off and will not come back on. Curious if this is connected.
THROTTLE BODY PISTON SENSOR AS I AM DRIVING THE ENGINE REVS HIGH AND DOES NOT COME BACK DOWN. WHEN LOOKING UP THE CODES THEY STATE IT IS THE THROTTLE BODY PISTON SENSOR WHICH HAS BEEN CHANGED AND I AM STILL HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME INVESTIGATING AND APPARENTLY A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE AND HYUNDAI DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT.
THE AIRBZG LIGHT CAME ON AFTER MY GIRFRIEND SAT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT .AFTER LEAVING THE VEHICLE THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS STAYING ON INDICATING A FAULR IN THE AIRBAG / OCS SYSTEM. I HAD THE CODES PULLED BY INDEPENDANT MECHANIC AND CODE B1448 SHOWED INDICATING THE SEAT MAT SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE . I WENT TO HYUNDAI DEALER IN NORTH HAMPTON NEW HAMPSHIRE.THE DEALER SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE FOR $125 AND IT COSTS ABOUT 1400 TO REPLACE THE MAT , MANY PEOPLE ONLINE IN FORUMS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE . THEY WERE ABLE TO HAVE THIS REPAI DONE .ITS CAMPAIGN 083 . I WAS TOLD TO CONTACT HYUNDAI CORPORATE BY SERVICE EMPLOYEE AT THE DEALERSHIP . HYUNDAI CONTINUED TO CLAIM MY VIN IS NOT LISTED .THIS IS NOT A RECALL BUT CAMPAIGN .THE CAMPAIGN AFFECTS 2006 AND NEWER SONATAS .THE HUYNDAI CORPORATE EMPLOYEE SAID I CSN HAVE THE CAR DIAGNOSED AND THEN THEY CAN SUBMIT A "REQUEST" TO HAVE CORPORATE AUTHORIZE THE REPAIR .WHICH WOULD COST SIGNIFICANT MONEY . OTHERS ONLINE HAD NO PROBLEM GETTING THIS REPAIR DONE FREE AS ITS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE SONATA . THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE CONTACT CALLED THE LUJACK HYUNDAI DEALER (563-445-4307, 101 W 37TH ST, DAVENPORT, IA 52806) AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT BACK TO THE SAME DEALER, STATING THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNDER A WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 121,000.

THE INSURANCE COMPANY INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A YARD AND WITH EXTENSIVE DAMAGES AND DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. A DEALER HAD NOT INSPECTED AND DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE. SUBFRAME COMPLETELY CORRODED, REAR TIRES ANGELED INWARDS, ALMOST LOST MY TIRES WITH CHILDREN IN THE CAR ON FAIRLY BUSY ROAD. VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT DEALERSHIP WHERE I AM BEING TOLD THEY WILL TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS AND SUBMIT TO HYUNDAI FOR HYUNDAI TO POSSIBLY COVER REPAIRS. SUBFRAME ROT IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE.
AIRBAG LIGHTS ARE CONSTANTLY ON, EVEN AFTER MULTIPLE REPAIRS. PASSENGER SEATBELT FLICKERS ON OFF WHEN SOMEONE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. LOOKING ON-LINE, THERE ARE SEVERAL 2006 SONATA OWNERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE. IF TRULY THE AIRBAG DOES NOT WORK THEN THE LIGHT IS ON, THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY RISK. ENOUGH ON LINE TO SUGGEST THIS IS AN ISSUE AND SHOULD BE RECALLED ON-GOING.
REAR CONTROL ARM SUPPORT IS TOTALLY RUSTED OUT CAUSING THE CAR TO BE UNSTABLE. THIS CAUSES ANY TYPE OF DRIVING HARD TO CONTROL. THE CONTROL ARM DOES NOT HAVE ANY UPPER ARM SUPPORT.
AIR BAG LIGHT IN DASHBOARD INTERMITTENTLY ON. BAD SENSOR.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2006 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING HIGHWAY SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE MADE AN ABNORMAL NOISE AND SMOKE EMITTED FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SAFELY MANEUVER FROM THE HIGHWAY TO A PARKING LOT. THE CONTACT EXITED THE VEHICLE AND OBSERVED FLAMES UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CONTACTED AND EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD WHERE IT WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V026000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000.
THE BRAKES STARTED LOCKING UP GOING DOWN THE ROAD NOT ALLOWING THE CAR TO TRAVEL ANYMORE AND PULLING TO ONE SIDE. HAD TO WAIT FOR THE BRAKES TO COOL DOWN AND THEY STILL DID THIS AGAIN. REPLACED ALL BRAKE CALIPERS, ROTORS AND PADS AND WAS FINE FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AND NOW IS DOING IT AGAIN. NOW THE ESC OFF LIGHT CAME ON AND WILL NOT TURN OFF.
THE TRANSMISSION STARTED TO BECOME JERKY AT 140,000 MILES. THIS OCCURED ON A VEHICLE WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION; WHILE THE CAR WAS MOVING AND IN DRIVE, IT WOULD DELAY AND THEN JERK WHEN SHIFTING UP OR DOWN, SUCH AS WHEN THE CAR WAS ACCELERATING AFTER STEPPING ON THE ACCELERATOR (ESPECIALLY DURING TURNS OR ENTERING HIGHWAYS) OR WHEN THE CAR WAS DECLERATING (ESPECIALLY WHEN ON A CITY STREET, MOVING 40 MP4 OR LESS) AND NEITHER THE BRAKE OR ACCELERATOR WAS BEING APPLIED. THE CAR ALSO DELAYED AND JERKED HARD WHEN SHIFTING TO AND FROM REVERSE.
THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WAS THE ENGINE WAS DYING WHEN I CAME TO A STOP AT A RED LIGHT, WITH THE ENGINE IDLING, THE CAR IN DRIVE AND MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE. I STARTED TO PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL WHEN I HAD TO COME TO A STOP, SO THE ENGINE WOULDN'T SPUTTER, AND THEN BACK IN DRIVE WHEN I WANTED TO GO. AFTER ABOUT A DAY OR 2, THE ENGINE STARTED REVVING WHEN I PUT IT IN DRIVE OR REVERSE, AND THE BRAKE WASN'T STRONG ENOUGH TO STOP THE CAR. I TOOK IT TO MY HYUNDAI DEALER, WHO SAID IT NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION (SPECIFICALLY TORQUE CONVERTER). I TOOK IT TO A TRANSMISSION SHOP, WHICH REBUILT THE TRANSMISSION. BUT THE CAR WAS STILL REVVING WHEN IT WAS PUT IN DRIVE AND IDLING, WITH THE BRAKE ON. THE TRANSMISSION SHOP RESEARCHED THE PROBLEM, WHICH TOOK ABOUT A MONTH, AND FOUND THAT THE CONTROL MODULE HAD MALFUNCTIONED. ACCORDING TO THE MECHANIC, IT WAS SENDING THE SIGNAL TO REV THE ENGINE AND CUT THE POWER TO THE BRAKES WHEN THE CAR WAS IDLING IN GEAR. HE SAID HE FOUND THAT THERE WERE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS MAKE/MODEL/YEAR RANGE, BUT THERE WAS NO RECALL BECAUSE NO SERIOUS INJURIES OR DEATHS HAD OCCURRED BECAUSE OF IT YET. OBVIOUSLY, IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME TILL THIS HAPPENS, WHEN A VEHICLE REVS ITS ENGINE AND CUTS POWER TO THE BRAKES SIMULTANEOUSLY. ONCE THE PROBLEM WAS IDENTIFIED, THE TRANSMISSION SHOP WAS ABLE TO ORDER THE SOFTWARE FROM HYUNDAI TO REPROGRAM THE ECM, WHICH SOLVED THE PROBLEM.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT TO CALL NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 196,986.
MY AIR BAG LIGHT STAYS ON I DIDNT HAVE ACCIDENT OR THEY DIDNT DEPLOY
WHEN THE CAR IS PARKED AND THE KEY IS OUT OF THE IGNITION THE PARK LIGHTS STAY ON IN THE FRONT AND BACK, AS WELL AS THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS STAY LIT UP. I HAVE TO UNHOOK THE BATTERY TO GET THEM TO TURN OFF. AS SOON AS I HOOK THE BATTERY BACK UP THE LIGHTS COME BACK ON.
