There are 1 owner-reported body & structure complaints for the 2023 Hyundai Venuein NHTSA's database. These are unverified consumer reports and may not reflect confirmed defects.
The body panel below the left front turn signal has cracked and is getting larger in size due to the thermal dynamics of expansion and contraction. The car is currently under its original bumper-to-bumper warranty and was noticed and reported to Hyundai at 41K miles (the original bumper-to-bumper warranty is for 5 years and 60K miles). Hyundai's warranty includes an anti-perforation warranty, and since the body panel now has a crack exposing the interior of the engine compartment, the item is warrantable. But, Hyundai is refusing to cover it at this point in time. This is in contradiction to their own warranty, which they claim is the best in the automotive industry. If their warranty is that good, then WHY is it so difficult for them to cover this body panel crack?
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
