The contact stated that puddles of water were present on both the front passenger’s and driver’s side floorboard due to condensation and moisture from rainwater entering the vehicle. The contact was concerned that moisture would create mold and an electrical shock hazard inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the sunroof drainage system was clogged and needed to either be cleaned or replaced. The failure was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 130,000.
