The contact stated that while driving at unknown speeds, the Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) and Forward Collision Avoidance system engaged, and the vehicle automatically braked. The contact stated that the vehicle corrected itself after an extended period of time, and the instrument cluster froze. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to correct the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.
