I RECEIVED A RECALL FOR A DEFECTIVE SEAT BELT AND AIR BAG ASSEMBLY IN MY 2012 JEEP COMPASS WEEKS AGO. BECAUSE THIS VEHICLE IS USED IN A FLEET CAPACITY, I PULLED IT FROM SERVICE IMMEDIATELY. I TALKED TO DODGE AND WAS TOLD THERE IS NO REMEDY AT THIS TIME. I THEN ASKED FOR A LOANER VEHICLE UNTIL MY VEHICLE WAS SAFE TO DRIVE AND WAS TOLD THAT DODGE DOESN'T HAVE A RENTAL PROGRAM FOR RECALLS. I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS MANUFACTURE DOESN'T HAVE A PLAN TO RECTIFY AN INCONVENIENCE THAT THEIR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO GO THROUGH REGARDING A PROBLEM THAT WASN'T THE CUSTOMERS FAULT TO BEGIN WITH. I'M VERY UNHAPPY DODGE TREATS CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS.
COMPUTER ECM FAILS TRACTIONS LIGHT ON ETC.
"IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL" ISSUED SEPTEMBER 2016. AS OF FEBRUARY 17,2017-- 5 MONTHS LATER NO REPAIR IS AVAILABLE. I AM TERRIFIED TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE WITH MY CHILD IN IT KNOWING THERE IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT PUTS US BOTH AT RISK AND SEEMINGLY NO RUSH IS BEING MADE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM IN A TIMELY FASHION.
CAR'S ACTUATOR FAILED PREMATURELY.

THE VEHICLES MAY EXPERIENCE LOSS OF AIR BAG AND SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER DEPLOYMENT CAPABILITY IN CERTAIN CRASH EVENTS DUE TO A SHORTING CONDITION RESULTING IN A NEGATIVE VOLTAGE TRANSIENT THAT TRAVELS TO THE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER VIA THE FRONT IMPACT SENSOR WIRES. THERE IS CURRENTLY NO FIX FOR THE RECALL AND THE NOTICE WAS SENT OUT IN OCTOBER. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO TAKE THIS LONG, I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING. *TR
The catalytic converter is failing on this vehicle. The vehicle had been maintained pre manufacturer specifications. Check engine light came on without warning. Crank shaft and cam shaft sensor both Failed on vehicle and had to be replaced. All bearing had to be replaced. Two of which were fixed before 60,000 miles. Hood rusted completely through. Cross members are rusting through.
THE TRANSMISSION DIPSTICK TUBE BROKE OFF. WHEN I PARKED THE VEHICLE I NOTICED THE PART ON THE FLOOR AT MY HOME. DON'T KNOW WHEN IT MAY HAVE BROKEN.

IT WAS STATED THAT THE SEAT BELT HAD A HISTORY OF LOOSENING. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT WAS KILLED IN THE CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE CRASH. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
DRIVING ON THE TURNPIKE 11/10/2016 AT 530AM NEARING EXT. 6 MY TRUCK SHUT OFF, I MADE IT TO THE CAR SHOP AND THEY STATED IT WAS THE SENSORS. I PROCEEDED TO CALL THE JEEP DEALER AND THEY STATED SENORS ARE NOT COVERED IN ANY WARRANTY AND THAT MY EXTENDED WARRANTY DOES COVER IT AS WELL. IM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE POINTLESS PURCHASE OF MY WARRANTY, AND THE FACT THAT I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED ON THE TURNPIKE. ALSO MY TRUCK MAKES THIS LOUD SQUEAKING NOISE BUT I HAVE TAKEN IT TO 3 SHOPS AND NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS, BUT THEY ALL AGREED IT IS NOT THE BRAKES.
REC'D NOTICE FROM FCA REGARDING RECALL, S61/NHTA16V-688. AFTER CONTACTING FCA, WAS INFORMED THAT PART REQUIRED WOULD BE AVAILABLE BY 1 JUNE 2017. HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM FCA NOR COULD A REP TELL ME WHEN PART WOULD BE AVAILABLE. SITUATION IS SUCH THAT THE AFFECTED VEHICLE CAN NOT BE SOLD OR TRADED AND IS LOOSING VALUE. VEHICLE IS PARKED AND ESSENTIALLY UNUSABLE AS IT COULD PRODUCE MORE HARM THAN GOOD TO MYSELF OR OTHERS IF USED AND AN INCIDENT OCCURS. MY 77 YEAR OLD MOTHER WAS DRIVING VEHICLE ON HIGHWAY 159 IN MARYVILLE, IL WHEN THE ENGINE STALLED. SHE WAS ABLE TO PULL OFF ROADWAY. ENGINE LIGHT APPEARED. TURNED VEHICLE OFF AND THEN RESTARTED. WENT TO DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY USED SOME TYPE OF HAND HELD TESTER. IT SHOWED CODE PO335 WHICH IS CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. THIS HAPPEN TWO DAYS LATER WHEN TURNING INTO PARKING LOT. SAME AS ABOVE. WE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE IN OCTOBER OF 2016 AND THE REMEDY FOR THESE ISSUES ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE.
WHEN TRAVELING TO A WEDDING FROM DENVER TO FT. COLLINS, THE TRANSMISSION WARNING LIGHT CAME ON AND BEGAN TO LOSE SPEED. I PULLED OVER AND LET SIT FOR ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES, TURNED IT BACK ON AND CONTINUED MY DRIVE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT IT HAS HAPPENED AND IT SEEMS TO DO IT MORE ON LONG TRIPS AND HOT DAYS. IT'S VERY ANNOYING, ESPECIALLY WHEN TRYING TO GET SOMEWHERE. IS THERE A RECALL ON THIS CAR OR IS THIS SOMETHING THAT WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH? NHTSA RECALL # 16V-668 ON MY 2012 JEEP COMPASS IS STILL INCOMPLETE. THE MANUFACTURER STILL ADVISES THERE IS NO REMEDY, EVEN THOUGH IT HAS ALMOST BEEN A YEAR SINCE THE RECALL WAS ISSUED. I AM TRYING TO TRADE THIS VEHICLE IN AND THE DEALERSHIP IS TELLING ME THEY CAN'T ACCEPT A 2012 EXCELLENT CONDITION JEEP COMPASS WITH 54,000 MILES ON IT, BECAUSE OF A RECALL THAT CAN'T BE FIXED. THEREFORE, I AM BEING PENALIZED FOR SOMETHING THAT IS COMPLETELY OUT OF MY CONTROL AND IS THE FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MANUFACTURER.

IS THERE'S A DEADLINE TO FIX A AUTO RECALL ON AIR BAG SYSTEM?
OUR JEEP'S TAIL PIPE, PRIMARILY DUE TO ITS EXCESSIVELY SHORT LENGTH, BECAME TUCKED, BY REGULAR VEHICLE USE, UNDER THE JEEP'S BUMPER AND FORCED HOT EXHAUST FUMES TO MELT THROUGH THE BUMPER. WE OBSERVED SIGNS OF CHARRING AND MELTING OF THE JEEP'S EXTERIOR BUMPER BODY CAUSED BY THIS TOO SHORT EXHAUST PIPE DESIGN DEFECT RESULTING IN AN OBVIOUS FIRE DANGER.
MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING THE 2012 JEEP COMPASS HOME FROM WORK SATURDAY 3/26/2016. I WAS IN THE DRIVEWAY AND WHEN SHE PULLED UP, I NOTICED A BLACK TUBE DRAGGING UNDER THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR. I CLIMBED UNDER THE CAR AND PULLED OUT A TUBE THAT WAS AROUND 11 INCHES LONG. I TOOK THE PART INSIDE AND STARTED RESEARCHING WHAT COULD CAUSE THIS TO HAPPEN. I'VE READ MULTIPLE PEOPLE HAVE HAD THIS SAME ISSUE WITH THE PART JUST BREAKING OFF. WE ARE HAVING THE JEEP TOWED TO LANDERS MCCLARTY CHRYSLER IN HUNTSVILLE, AL ON WEDNESDAY 3/30 TO BE REPAIRED. I HOPE THIS CAN BE LOOKED INTO AS A POSSIBLE RECALL BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY THIS PIPE JUST SPLITS LIKE IT DID ON ITS OWN. THE JEEP WRANGLER WAS RECALLED FOR THIS SAME ISSUE. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS. THIS WAS A 16 YEAR OLD DRIVING THIS CAR AT THE TIME.
THIS HAS HAPPENED A FEW TIMES NOW. WAS TOLD BY DEALER THEY HAVE TO BE DRIVING IT WHEN THE PROBLEM OCCURS. TWICE NOW, I LOST ALL ELECTRICAL POWER. NO LIGHTS, NO HAZARDS, NO POWER STEERING. IT IS LIKE I HAVE NO BATTERY AT ALL. EVERYTHING IS DEAD. ONE TIME I WAS PARKED, AND LOST ALL POWER, CAME BACK ON IN A FEW MINUTES. THE SECOND TIME, IT WAS DARK OUT. I HAD JUST MADE A TURN, APROX 100 FEET AFTER, I LOST ALL POWER AGAIN. THIS TIME I WAS IN MOTION, CARS BEHIND ME, I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO LIGHTS. NO HAZARDS. I WASN'T EVEN ABLE TO MAKE IT TO THE SHOULDER, IT HAPPENED SO QUICKLY. LUCKILY IT WAS A TURN AND VEHICLES HADN'T REACHED THE SPEED LIMIT YET. NOT ONLY COULD I HAVE BEEN HIT, BUT THE OTHER VEHICLES BEHIND ME AS WELL. MY CAR WASN'T EASILY NOTICABLE. THE CAR BEHIND ME WAS ABLE TO STOP IN TIME BEFORE REAR ENDING ME, AND TURNED THEIR HAZARDS ON. THE POWER TO MY VEHICLE WAS BACK ON ABOUT TWO MINUTES. PERIODICALLY THE CAR WILL ALSO JUST DIE, AT IDLE OR IN TRAFFIC AT LOW SPEEDS. IT DOESN'T LOSE COMPLETE POWER WHEN THIS HAPPENS THOUGH. IT WILL START AGAIN RIGHT AWAY.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE FAILURE WAS DIAGNOSED AS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE. THE BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR WERE REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.

FOOTREST BY THE GAS AND BRAKE PEDALS BROKE LOOSE WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. APPEARS TO BE A PLASTIC PART MOUNTED BY TWO BOLTS, IN WHICH THE PLASTIC BROKE AND PART SAT LOOSE BY MY PEDALS WHILE DRIVING. REMOVED PART FROM BEING AN OBSTACLE NEAR THE BRAKE AND GAS PEDALS ONCE I COULD COME TO A STOP.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000.

DURING THE FAILURE, THE KEY WAS NOT ABLE TO BE USED TO MANUALLY UNLOCK THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.
A MONTH OR SO AFTER BUYING MY CAR (USED) IT STARTED TO STRUGGLE GOING UP HILL. AS TIME WENT ON THE STRUGGLE UPHILL TURNED INTO STALLING. THEN IT PROGRESSED TO EXTREME DIFFICULTY GETTING UP TO SPEED WHEN JUST GETTING ON THE FREEWAY. SOON IT STARTED TO OVER HEAT IF DRIVEN LONGER THAN AN HOUR. WITH ALL OF THE ISSUES PUT TOGETHER IT HA BECOME VERY STRESSFUL AND SCARY TO DRIVE. WE TOOK IT INTO THE MECHANIC AND HE DISCOVERED THE SMOOTH TRANSITION TRANSMISSION IS FAULTY AND CAUSES THE CAR TO OVERHEAT. HE SAID IT WAS A MATTER OF TIME UNTIL THE TRANSMISSION DROPS. I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE TAKING MY FAMILY ANYWHERE IN THE CAR. BETWEEN THE SLUGGISHNESS, STALLING, OVERHEATING AND TRANSMISSION MY CAR IS A TICKING TIME BOMB. IF ANY OF THIS HAPPENS ON THE FREEWAY MY FAMILY AND POSSIBLY OTHERS COULD GET SEVERELY INJURED. I HAVE LOOKED UP ONLINE AND FOUND MANY OTHERS HAVE THIS SAME ISSUE.
THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM AFTER DRIVING THE CAR AND THEN STOPPING.WHEN YOU RESTART THE VEHICLE AND GO TO PUSH THE GAS IT STALLS LAST TIME WAS WHEN ENTERING TRAFFIC AND IT QUIT ON THREE OCCASIONS .I HAD TO GO AND RESCUE MY WIFE FROM A POTENTIAL SERIOUS SITUATION.THE DEALER HAS HAD THIS VEHICLE FOR OVER A WEEK NOW AND CAN NOT FIND ANYTHING ON THE COMPUTER THAT TELLS THEM WHAT TO LOOK AT . THE FIRST TIME THEY GAVE IT BACK TO US AND SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT.THIS TIME I HAVE STILL NOT HEARD OF A RESOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. BUT CAME TO YOUR SITE AND FOUND THE FUEL TRANSFER TUBE ISSUE WHICH IT SOUNDS LIKE IT COULD BE THE PROBLEM.
WHEN I START MY VEHICLE IT DOES NOT START AND I CAN NOT PULL THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION AFTER A COUPLE OF SECONDS OF LEAVING THE KEY ALONE THE VEHICLE STARTS ON ITS ON. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES HOWEVER; THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. I WAS TOLD IT WOULD HAVE TO DO IT FOR THEM IN ORDER FOR THEM TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. I ASKED THE DEALER TO DOCUMENT THE ISSUE THAT MY VEHICLE IS HAVING BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSE TO MY WARRANTY TO BE OVER. PLEASE INVESTIGATE ISSUE!!!! *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 JEEP COMPASS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE AS THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
THE SIDE WINDOWS, FRONT AND REAR, FOG/FROST OVER WHILE THE VEHICLE IS BEING DRIVEN. RUNNING THE DEFROSTER ON HIGH HEAT AT FULL FAN RESULTS IN A SMALL PEEP HOLE TO SEE THE SIDE MIRRORS. THE REST OF THE WINDOWS REMAIN COVERED AND YOU CAN'T SEE OUT. A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN LIVING IN MICHIGAN IN THE WINTER. NOT SURE IF THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW OR A PROBLEM THAT CAN BE ADDRESSED. *TR
WHILE DRIVING AT 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE LOST ALL POWER. I WASN'T ABLE TO USE MY HAZARDS OR ANYTHING. I WAS ABLE TO GET TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, THE VEHICLE COULD BE RESTARTED BUT RAN VERY ROUGH AND HAD TO BE TOWED. THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL LIGHT WAS ON AS WELL AS CHECK ENGINE. MECHANIC SAID NONE OF THE CODES WERE THE CAUSE, THEY WERE ALL THE EFFECT OF THE POWER LOSS. THE MECHANIC FOUND A LOOSE TERMINAL ON THE OEM BATTERY. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED AND THE ISSUE HAS NOT RECURRED.
WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE THERE IS A CLUNK COMING FROM THE RIGHT FRONT OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. WHEN DRIVING THERE IS A DRAG OR FRICTION WHEN TURNING LEFT WITH A SLIGHT VIBRATION. WHEN TURNING THE ENGINE OFF THERE IS A SERIES OF 3 ELECTRONIC CLICKS FROM THE RIGHT FRONT OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. *TR
AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AT 70 MPH AND THE GAS GAUGE SHOWING 1/4 OF A TANK LEFT, THE ENGINE SUDDENLY QUIT. IT WOULD RESTART. AFTER PUTTING SOME GAS IN IT STARTED IMMEDIATELY. SINCE THEN, AND BEFORE, I HAVE LET THE LEVEL RUN DOWN WELL BELOW A 1/4 OF A TANK WITH NO INCIDENT. MY CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY, BUT I CALLED JEEP BECAUSE THIS SCENARIO IS EXACTLY WHAT WAS DESCRIBED IN THE RECALL NOTICE I RECEIVED A YEAR OR SO AGO, WHICH SAID THAT AT HIGH SUSTAINED SPEED A FUEL INTAKE HOSE IN THE GAS TANK COULD COLLAPSE, RESULTING IN THE ENGINE TURNING OFF SUDDENLY AND A POSSIBLE CATASTROPHIC ACCIDENT. I HAD THE RECALL PROCEDURE COMPLETED BUT I DID NOT TAKE ANY LONG TRIPS UNTIL THE DAY THE INCIDENT OCCURRED. THE JEEP RECALL SPECIALIST TOLD ME TO TAKE THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALER TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT. THE DEALER TOLD ME IF THEY DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG IT WOULD COST $99 FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. I ASKED IF THEY WOULD REMOVE THE FUEL TANK TO CHECK THE HOSE AND THEY SAID NO I DID NOT LEAVE THE CAR BECAUSE I DIDN'T THINK THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO FIND THE PROBLEM, OR DUPLICATE IT. I CALLED JEEP AGAIN; THEY CALLED THE DEALER WHILE I WAS ON THE LINE AND ASKED THEM TO LOOK AT THE CAR AGAIN. WHEN I TOOK IT BACK I WAS TOLD THE SAME THING; THAT IF THEY COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM IT WOULD COST ME $99. THEY THEN ADVISED ME TO TRY TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AGAIN, MYSELF, BY DRIVING THE CAR ON THE INTERSTATE UNTIL IT QUIT, AND THEN HAVE IT TOWED TO THE NEAREST DEALER. I COULDN'T BELIEVE I WAS HEARING THAT SO I CALLED THE JEEP RECALL DEPARTMENT AGAIN, AND AFTER SOME CONFERRING WITH OTHER PEOPLE THERE, THE SPECIALIST TOLD ME THAT YES, THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED TO DO; DRIVE THE CAR UNTIL IT QUITS. WHAT I FIND REALLY INTERESTING ABOUT THIS IS THAT JEEP INITIALLY WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF A CATASTROPHIC ACCIDENT, BUT NOW THAT DOESN'T SEEM TO BE A CONCERN. ANY ADVICE? *TR
I GOT INTO MY 2012 JEEP COMPASS ( 4X4 LATITUDE VERSION) AND NOTED A DRIP OF WATER ON THE INSIDE OF MY WINDSHIELD. AT FIRST I THOUGHT MAYBE MY WINDSHIELD WAS LEAKING AND TOOK NOTE OF THE AREA. WELL, I BEGAN TO BACK OUT AND A BUNCH OF WATER CAME DOWN ON ME THROUGH MY INTERIOR LIGHT AND ALONG THE EDGING OF THE CEILING OF THE INTERIOR ALONG THE WINDSHIELD. I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ME TWICE BEFORE, AND THE ISSUE HAS TO DO WITH THE SUNROOF BECAUSE OF A DESIGN FLAW IN THE SUNROOF DRAINS. RESEARCHING THE INTERNET, THIS IS AN ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS WITH JEEP MODELS. I FEAR THIS WILL NOT ONLY CAUSE PREMATURE AGING OF THE BODY DUE TO THE WATER COMING IN CONTACT WITH BODY PARTS THAT ARE NOT MEANT FOR THE WEATHER ELEMENTS, BUT ALSO THE RISK OF THE WATER GETTING INTO AREAS OF THE DASH CAUSING ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS OR EVEN THE VEHICLE COMPUTER PARTS UNDER THE SEATING. WHEN THE WATER COLLECTS ON THAT CEILING PANEL, IT DRAINS THROUGH THE INTERIOR LIGHT DOWN ONTO THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER AND THE CAR STEREO, AND ALSO ALONG THE PANELING ALONG THE FRONT WINDSHIELD INTO THE DASH AREA. *TR
THE REAR BUMPER IS MELTED AROUND THE EXHAUST PIPE AS IF THERE WAS A FIRE. I DRIVE MY 2 CHILDREN IN THIS CAR CONSTANTLY. I BOUGHT THIS CAR A MONTH AGO. I WAS SHOCKED TO DISCOVER THE MELTED PLASTIC BUMPER AND WANT JEEP TO REPAIR IT ALL, EXHAUST PIPE AND BUMPER AND PROBLEM THAT CAUSED THE MELTING, AT NO COST TO ME ASAP. *TR
I WAS ON A ROAD TRIP IN MY 2012 JEEP COMPASS (4X4 LATITUDE VERSION) FROM THE NASHVILLE, TN AREA TO THE WASHINGTON D.C. AREA, IN AUGUST, AND WAS MONITORING MY FUEL CONSUMPTION ON THE TRIP. I NOTED MY FUEL GAUGE HAD BEEN TELLING ME THAT AT THE FIRST HALF OF THE GAS TANK I HAD BEEN GETTING AROUND 210 MILES OUT OF THAT FIRST HALF OF THE TANK. MY SECOND HALF OF THE TANK ONLY GAVE ME AROUND 90 MILES TO THE HALF TANK, WITH ABOUT A GALLON AND A HALF REMAINING IN THE TANK WHEN I REFUELED. THIS IS NEARLY 100 MILE DIFFERENCE IN MILEAGE BETWEEN THE TWO MEASUREMENTS, ON AVERAGE, FOR HIGHWAY DRIVING CONDITIONS. THE ISSUE CONTINUES TO THIS DAY. *TR
WINDSHIELD CRACKED ON THE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE FOR NO REASON. VEHICLE WAS NOT MOVING AND WAS PARKED FOR APPROXIMATELY 4 DAYS. *TR
THE DOME LIGHT OVER MY DASH LEAKS WATER WHEN IT RAINS. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AS I FIND MYSELF DRIVING AND TRYING TO AVOID GETTING WET OR AVOID THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS TO BE DAMAGED BY WATER. *TR
DRIVING TO WORK I HEARD A CLANKING NOISE. I APPROACHED A STOP LIGHT AND WAS TOLD BY SOMEONE STANDING BY THE LIGHT THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING DRAGGING UNDERNEATH MY VEHICLE. I REACHED MY DESTINATION AND ONCE THE CAR WAS PARKED GOT OUT TO SEE WHAT IT WAS. A METAL TUBE WAS DANGLING FROM MY UNDERCARRIAGE. I WENT AND GOT A COWORKER TO HELP ME. HE PULLED IT OUT AND TOLD ME IT WAS PART OF TRANSMISSION; IT WAS THE METAL TRANSMISSION FILL TUBE. HE LOOKED UNDER MY TRUNK AND POINTED OUT THAT IT SNAPPED AND BROKE OFF. *TR
TRYING TO STOP AT A RED LIGHT APPLIED BRAKES, JEEP DECIDED IT WANTED TO KEEP GOING , I HAD TO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND STOP. WHILE IN NEUTRAL ENGINE REVVED TO 4,000 RPMS. *TR
