TIRE LOW AIR INDICATOR CAME ON AND TIRE WENT FLAT. I LOOKED AT TIRE AND REFILLED WITH AIR JUST ABOVE THE SIDE WALL INTO THE TREAD ON THE TOP SIDE OF THE TIRE WAS THREE HOLES UP TO 1/4 AND THE SIDE WALL HAD A BUBBLE THREE INCHES ACROSS JUST ABOUT 3 INCHES BELOW THE THREE HOLES . I HIT NOTHING AND DID NOT DAMAGE THE SIDEWALL. THE DEALER AUTO NATION IN SPRING TX ACTED LIKE A 3RD GRADER SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS AND SAID TAKE IT TO A FIRESTONE DEALER. *TR
VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN AT 60 MPH ON INTERSTATE. VEHICLE'S ENGINE STALLED CAUSING SUDDEN DROP IN SPEED TO 25 MILES MPH. VEHICLE WAS THEN PULLED TO A COMPLETE STOP, PLACED IN PARK, THEN TURNED OFF. ONCE THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED ENGINE LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. VEHICLE WAS THEN DRIVEN OFF OF INTERSTATE WHERE IT STALLED AN ADDITIONAL 4 TIMES WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF OPERATION. *TR
PASSENGER SIDE FRONT AND BACK DOORS HAVE A LEAK WHICH ALLOWS WATER TO LEAK INTO THE VEHICLE CAUSING THE CARPETING TO BECOME SATURATED AND RETAIN THE WATER TO THE POINT WHERE IT PUDDLES AND HARD TO PROPERLY CLEAN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 JEEP COMPASS. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MECHANISM WOULD NOT FUNCTION WHEN THE LEVER WAS PUSHED DOWN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSIS AND THE TECHNICIAN STATED THE KNOB HAD TO BE TURNED IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE THE WINDSHIELD WIPER. THE CONTACT STATED WHEN HE ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THE VEHICLE THE WINDSHIELD WIPER LEVER COULD BE PUSHED DOWN IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE THE WIPERS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 400.
PURCHASED A NEW 2014 JEEP COMPASS, AND 2 DAYS AFTER PURCHASING ON MY WAY HOME I SET CRUISE CONTROL AND LET MY FOOT OFF THE PEDAL. WHEN I MOVED MY LEFT FOOT CLOSER TO MY SEAT, MY SHOE TRIGGERED THE HOOD RELEASE LATCH. THE HOOD POPPED UP A FEW INCHES, AND IF THE UNDER HOOD SAFETY WASN'T THERE THE HOOD COULD HAVE OPENED COMPLETELY. SAME THING HAPPENED 4-5 DAYS LATER, WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE. THE WAY THE LATCH PROTRUDES NEAR THE PEDALS IS THE CAUSE FOR THE MULTIPLE TIMES I'VE ACCIDENTALLY TRIGGERED THE HOOD RELEASE. *TR
