CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE FELT SLUGGISH WHEN FIRST STARTING IN THE MORNING, THE DEALER REMOVED THE TRANSMISSION PAN AND FOUND EXCESSIVE BRASS AND METAL INSIDE THE PAN, THE DEALER DISSASSEMBLED THE TRANSMISSION, AND PUMP BUSHINGS THAT WERE STUCK ON THE TORQUE CONVERTER, ALSO THE REAR CLUTCH WAS BURNT.*JB
THE KEYLESS ENTRY WORKS INTERMITTENTLY. CONSUMER STATES SOMETIMES THE WINDOWS WILL GO UP AND SOMETIMES THEY WON'T. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. TS

THE ROTORS HAD BEEN SERVICED FOUR TIMES FOR VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN COMING TO A STOP.*JB
WHILE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A SLOW RIGHT TURN FRONT AIR BAG SUUDENLY DEPLOYED THROWING DRIVE BACK INTO THE SEAT, AND CAUSING HIM TO REMOVE FOOT FROM BRAKE PEDAL, JAMMING ACCELERATOR TO THE FLOOR. VEHICLE LOST CONTROL AND SLAMMED INTO THE BLOCK BUILDING. *AK
WHEN THE WERE APPLIED, THE VEHICLE VIBRATED EXCESSIVELY. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED CONSUMER A KIT WAS AVAILABLE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *JB
THE' ABS MADE A LOUD GRINDING SOUND, THE BRAKE PEDAL ALSO BECAME HARD WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. *JB
THE VEHICLE SHOOK WHEN LIGHT TO MODERATE PRESSURE WAS APPLIED TO THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE FRONT CALIPERS AND ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *NLM
THE BRAKE ROTORS FAILED WITHIN EIGHT MONTHS OF PURCHASE. THE DEALER REFUSED TO REPLACE THEM, BECAUSE THE PREMATURE FAILURE WAS DUE TO WEAR AND TEAR. MR *SCC *JB
POWER STEERING PUMP BROKE ON VEHICLE. *MR WHILE DRIVING THE CONSUMER COMPLETELY LOST THE POWER STEERING ON THE HIGHWAY. THE POWER STEERING HAD A KINK IN THE COLUMN AND COULD BE HEARD WHEN MAKING A TURN. THE POWER STEERING HOSE WAS REPLACED ALONG WITH THE STEERING PUMP. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THAT THE FRONT LEFT TIRE WAS BALD DUE TO IMPROPER ALIGNMENT. THERE WAS A WHISTLING SOUND UNDER THE HOOD WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS IDLED. THE WATER PUMP AND THE CLUTCH WAS REPLACED DUE TO BAD BEARING. *SCC ALSO THE ROTORS WERE REPLACED. *JB
CONSUMER STATES PASSENGER'S SEAT BELT UNLATCHED AND RELEASED CHILD SEAT WHILE TRAVELING . *AK
CONSUMER NOTICED THAT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT BELTS ARE HARD TO LATCH AND UNLATCH. CONSUMER HAS TO PRESS THE RELEASE BUTTON HARD TO UNLATCH.*AK
VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND DISENGAGED AFTER DRIVING. CONSUMER WAS NOT ABLE TO REMOVE KEY FROM IGNITION. DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE CAUSE.*AK
THE GAS TANK LEAKS WHILE FILLING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON 7/7/2003. THE DEALER STATED THE VENT TUBE WELD FAILED. *AK
PROBLEMS WITH 2000 JEEP CHEROKEE BRAKE EQUIPMENT. *MR THE SECOND MAJOR REPAIR WORK DONE. IT WAS DANGEROUS WHEN ATTEMPTING TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND FELT AS IF THE VEHICLE WAS RUNNING OVER MASSIVE BUMPS. THE VEHICLE HAD NEW PADS, THE FRONT AND BACK ROTORS WERE MACHINED, AND A NEW CALIPER KIT WAS ADDED. *SCC *JB
SERVICE BRAKE FAILURE. WHEN VECHICLE EXCEEDS SPEEDS OF 50 MPH THE BRAKES SQUEAK, AND THE PEDAL VIBRATES. THIS OCCURS EVERY 12,000. DEALERSHIP INSTALLED/USED A CALIBER KIT, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS.*AK
CONSUMER STATED WHILE APPLYING FORCE TO BRAKES FRONT END OF VEHICLE DROPPED TO GROUND DUE TO OUT OF ROUND ROTORS. *AK
WHILE CONSUMER WAS LOOKING UNDER THE HOOD THE HOOD FELL AND HIT THE CONSUMER ON THE BACK. DEALER DETERMINED THAT THE STRUTS BROKE AND REPLACED THEM. *AK
WHEN PUTTING VEHICLE IN REVERSE IT STALLED. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND DEALER FOUND SLUDGE BUILD UP IN THE ENGINE. CONSUMER BELIEVED THAT PROBLEM WAS THE SAME AS STATED IN RECALL 02V104000 CONCERNING MANIFOLD DEBRIS ACCUMULATION. *AK
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A HEAD ON COLLISION AT 20 MPH, UPON IMPACT, FRONTAL AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK
DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT FRAME DETACHED FROM BEING WELDED. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME THAT SEAT DETACHED. DRIVER SUSTAINED BACK INJURIES WHEN THE SEAT FELL BACKWARD. DEALER WAS WELDING THE SEAT AGAIN. ALSO, GEAR SHIFTER JUMPED FROM PARK INTO REVERSE ON ITS OWN. *AK
THE CALIPERS DAMAGED THE ROTORS WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SPIN OUT WHEN TRYING TO BRAKE. THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONSUMER THERE WERE NEWLY DESIGNED CALIPERS THAT COULD BE INSTALLED AT THE CONSUMERS EXPENSE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS. *JB
WHEN DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE VIBRATED. THE DEALER REPLACED THE FRONT BRAKES. *AK *SC *JB
WHEN DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL AT ANY SPEED CONSUMER NOTICED THE BRAKE PEDAL PULSATED. VEHICLE WAS SERVICED SIX TIMES FOR BRAKES AND ROTORS, BUT PROBLEM RECURRED. *AK
WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES AT ANY SPEED VEHICLE SHOOK. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE BRAKES, ROTORS AND CATALYTIC CONVERTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *AK
THE VEHICLE SLIPPED OUT OF GEAR WHEN THE CONSUMERS FOOT WAS NOT ON THE BRAKE. THE VEHICLE ALSO HAD A PROBLEM WITH SUDDEN AND UNEXPECTED ACCELERATION. *JB THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE IN REVERSE THEN HIT A STEEL POLE WHICH STOPPED THE VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER REQUESTED REIMBURSEMENT. *SC *JB
VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A ROUTINE INSPECTION. WHILE OPENING THE DRIVER'S DOOR CONSUMER NOTICED THAT THE DRIVER SEAT BROKE. WHILE AT DEALER, MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE FRAME AND BRACKET NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO WORN OUT PARTS. *AK
