I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY ON 7/21/19 AND MY 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE'S ENGINE SEIZED. THE CAR HAD TO BE TOWED AND NOW JEEP HAS A 2 MONTH WAITING LIST FOR THE HEMI MOTOR (WHICH APPARENTLY THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM FOR - THAT IS WHY THE WAITING LIST IS SO LONG). IT WILL BE OVER $8000 TO FIX AND I STILL OWE ON THE LOAN FOR THE CAR THAT I HAVE HAD LESS THAN 3 YEARS. IF HEMI MOTORS ARE A PROBLEM, JEEP SHOULD MAKE THEM WITH V6 NOT THE HEMI V8 MOTORS. THERE IS NO RECALL FOR THIS AS OF NOW. I AM STUCK WITHOUT A VEHICLE TO GET TO WORK AND A LARGE LOAN FOR A USELESS JEEP THAT I CAN'T DRIVE. IT HAS 90,000 MILES ON IT. WHY IS JEEP ALLOWED TO CONTINUE TO MAKE THESE IF THEY ARE SUCH ISSUES. WHY IS THERE NOT A RECALL ON HEMI ENGINES IN JEEPS? THEN WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL JEEP CORPORATE THEY CLAIM THEY RETURN CALLS ONCE A WEEK (WHICH THEY DON'T) AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS TOLD ME "THING HAPPEN". THIS IS A TERRIBLE WAY OF DOING BUSINESS AND AS A JEEP OWNER FOR MANY MANY YEARS I WILL NEVER BUY A JEEP AGAIN. HOPEFULLY THIS HAPPENS ENOUGH THAT THEY WILL NEED TO DO A RECALL AND I CAN RECOUP SOME OF MY MONEY BACK.
I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE AND IT COMPLETELY SHUTS OFF UNEXPECTEDLY. WHEN IT DOES IT AFFECTS BOTH THE BRAKING AND THE STEERING. THE FIRST TIME I WAS STOPPED AT A LIGHT AND WAS AN EASY FIX BUT THE 2ND TIME I WAS GETTING OFF AN EXIT AROUND 50 MPH. I HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN AND NOW I AM SCARED TO DRIVE THEM AROUND IN IT. I KNOW IN NOT THE ONLY ONE THIS IS HAPPENS, THERE'S COMPLAINTS ALL OVER THE INTERNET. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL BEFORE SOMEONE DIES.
THE FIRST TIME MY POWER STEERING WHEN OUT I HAD STOPPED TO DO SOMETHING. GOT BACK IN MY JEEP AND THOUGHT I HAD A FLAT BECAUSE IT WAS SO HARD TO TURN THE WHEEL. GOT OUT TO LOOK AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE. GOT BACK IN, DROVE IT AROUND A NEIGHBORHOOD STREET AND STEERING RETURNED TO NORMAL. HAD A MECHANIC TOP OFF THE POWER STEERING FLUID AND WAS FINE FOR MONTHS. YESTERDAY WAS LEAVING TO GOT TO THE STORE AND JUST BEFORE I GOT OUT ONTO A BUSY HWY THE POWER STEERING STOPPED WORKING. THIS TIME I COULD NOT BUDGE IT. I CALL MY MECHANIC FRIEND. BY THE TIME HE GOT THERE THE STEERING WAS NORMAL AGAIN. HE CHECKED THE LEVEL AND WAS FINE. IF I HAD GOTTEN OUT ONTO THE HWY AND THIS HAPPENED I WOULD HAVE BEEN A SITTING DUCK. THIS IS A 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE WITH 80,000 MILES ON IT.
MY JEEP HAS AN IGNITION/STARTING PROBLEM. IT WILL TRY TO START BUT JUST KEEPS TURNING OVER. AFTER 10 SECONDS IT WILL STOP THEN IT WILL USUALLY START AFTER. ONLINE IT SAYS THE TIMP COULD BE THE PROBLEM.
I HAVE LESS THAN 76K MILES ON MY JEEP. I HAVE BEEN THE ONLY OWNER, TAKING EXCEPTIONAL CARE OF MY JEEP, ALWAYS GETTING OIL CHANGES ON TIME AND MAINTENANCE WITH VERY FEW CITY MILES ON MY JEEP AND I AM HAVING TO PAY 10K FOR A NEW MOTOR AND CAMSHAFT.
I had purchased my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 hemi in June 2019. Shortly thereafter, I was driving on the highway when the vehicle stalled out and the wheel became very hard to control. I managed to avoid causing a major accident and made it to the side of the highway where I then sat for over 4 hours stranded. After trying to start my Jeep it just started up out of the blue and I drove home. I was nervous to drive it but I had no other mode of transportation. Over the next few months it would increasingly stall out. Sometimes in mid turn , sometimes on the expressway and sometimes just not start at all. A recall came out and I was able to have the truck " repaired ". Not even a month later it started to do the same thing. Stalling in mid drive. not starting at all or starting in Neutral only. I took it to a different dealership and paid over 300$ for them to do a diagnosis. Their diagnosis consisted of a " walk around " and taking a video of the vehicle. What a waste of money. As I was going to leave the dealership the vehicle wouldn't start. Then after an hour it suddenly started. I had advised service about it and they said that I can leave the vehicle and have them look at it when they had time which they said would be 4 days from then. I said you just looked at it and did nothing and I had to pay 300$ for nothing to be diagnosed. I was able to get the car home and then the car didnt start for a week then started .. would drive it then stalled and have to have it towed home a couple of times. Now the truck has been sitting in my driveway not able to start at all. The fuel pump relay was supposed to be replaced by two recalls I believe. Nothing was fixed and infact it only had made it worse probably causing damage to the rest of my vehicle. I am lucky I didnt crash, or even kill someone because of this. It is extremely dangerous and to not have the part fixed correctly nor even remedied with a replacement of the TIPM is unbelievable.
THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WENT BAD 6 MONTHS AFTER I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE HWY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON I TOOK IT BACK TO JEEP THEY TOLD ME $2300 TO FIX IT. AND I HAD JUST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE 6 MONTHS PRIOR
AN UNINTENTIONAL SHIFTING OF THE TRANSFER CASE THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE ITS ON AND CANT TAKE IT OFF, ALL STARTED WITH THE VEHICLE BEEN STATIONARY.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO ROCHESTER HILLS CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (1301 S ROCHESTER RD, ROCHESTER HILLS, MI 48307, (248) 652-9650) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FLOORBOARD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND THE FRONT PIPE NUTS BOTH PULLED OUT OF THE REAR CROSS MEMBER, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
TAKATA RECALL TIPM CORROSION/FAILURE. TO DATE, MULTIPLE FUSES HAVE BLOWN RESULTING IN SYSTEM FAILURE AND NEEDED REPLACING. I WAS ADVISED DUE TO THE SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF CORROSION IN THE TIPM MODULE, THE RESULT MAY LEAD TO SYSTEM WIDE SHORT AND POSSIBLE FAILURE OF ALL ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME AND PARKED, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST, BUT WAS UNABLE TO RETRIEVE A FAULT CODE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V115000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. ELECTRICAL STABILITY CONTROL DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY IT SWAYS FROM AND REAR. MAINLY WHEN IT RAINS. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM A PROBLEM BETWEEN SIGNAL LIGHTS AND THE RADIO, WHEN THE SIGNALS ARE USE THE RADIO GOES OFF??? LIFT SUSPENSION SYSTEM OPERATE BY ITSELF, UP AND DOWN ON HIS OWN, AND THAT PROBLEM PREVENTS FOR THE SUV TO BE ALIGNED; ALSO THERE IS A SHAKING ON STEERING WHEEL WHEN ABOVE 55MPH. MY JEEP WAS DRIVING JUST FIND UNTIL A COUPLE DAYS AGO. I HEARD A GNARLY POP AND PSSSSSSSTTTTTT NOISE FROM THE RIGHT FRONT OF MY CAR. LUCKILY I JUST PULLED INTO MY DADS DRIVEWAY, SINCE I THOUGHT MY TIRE POPPED AND WAS HISSING AIR OUT. I GET OUT TO FIND THAT MY FRONT AIR SUSPENSION, ON BOTH SIDES, WAS DONE FOR... IT IS CURRENTLY IN THE SHOP AND AWAITING INSPECTION. I READ THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MANY JEEP GC OWNERS WHICH IS RIDICULOUS, AND JEEP/MOPAR SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS FURTHER! HOPEFULLY THE REPAIRS DON'T COST ME AN ARM AND LEG, BECAUSE I AM FRESH OUT...
MY ENGINE LIGHT HAS DECIDED TO LIGHT UP IN MY JEEP RANDOMLY ONE DAY AFTER STARTING IT. AFTER SCANNING IT, IT SHOWS CODE P0522. THE RESEARCH I HAVE DONE HAS SHOWN IT USUALLY SHOWS THE OIL LIGHT WHEN IT IS THAT CODE. SO AS A RESULT, I HAVE HAD MY OIL CHANGED AGAIN AND I HAVE ORDERED A OIL PRESSURE SENSOR/SENDER HOPING THAT WILL FIX ALL MY PROBLEMS WHICH WILL BE INSTALLED NEXT SUNDAY (7/7/2019). I ALSO HAD TO CHANGE THE WATER PUMP BECAUSE IT HAD A CRACK IN IT, THE THERMOSTAT JUST FOR PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES, AND THE BELT BECAUSE IT HAD A TEAR IN IT ABOUT HALF THE SIZE OF THE WIDTH. ALL OF THIS TO TRY TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINE LIGHT AND THE SCANNER SHOWING THE CODE P0522. SO WE WILL SEE IF THAT ACTUALLY FIXES THE PROBLEM.
I was driving home from work and entering a highway merging into traffic at about 50mph, all was operating normally the Jeep was accelerating and I was turning the steering wheel to merge into the traffic. Suddenly without warning there was a noise from under the hood that can best be described as a "pop" which was followed by a burning smell and power loss. I managed to coast out of traffic and onto the shoulder of a 12 lane highway and called my roadside assistance who when they arrived immediately said it was the alternator without even lifting the hood. The incident occurred without warning on a major highway with busy traffic which could have easily resulted in an accident for myself and others. The Jeep was taken to the dealer who diagnosed an alternator diode failure, which also damaged the battery I had recently replaced. i authorized the repair which was accomplished without any issues, I have attached the paid invoice for this repair which totaled $874.06 +/-.
CAR IS NOT MAINTAINING POWER AFTER STARTING. I HAVE SEEN RECALLS FOR THE CAR BUT JEEP IS DENYONG THE CLAIM

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DISHMAN DODGE RAM CHRYSLER JEEP (7700 E SPRAGUE AVE, SPOKANE VALLEY, WA 99212, (509) 924-3250). THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY BECAUSE THE MILEAGE EXCEEDED 75,000. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND A COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
NHTSA RECALL NUMBER: OPENS NEW WINDOW TAKES AWAY FROM VIN LOOKUP SECTION>19V-813RECALL DATE: NOVEMBER 14, 2019. I HAD NUMEROUS INSTANCES THIS PAST YEAR WHERE THE VEHICLE STALLED UNEXPECTANTLY AND THEN WOULD NOT START. HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO THE DEALER AND THEY REPLACED THE FUEL RELAY BUT I HAD TO PAY FOR THE SERVICE. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME THAT THE FUEL RELAY HAD BEEN REPLACED ON MY VEHICLE. CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK? IS THIS NEW RECALL A PERMANENT FIX OR WILL I HAVE TO REPLACE THE PART AGAIN WITHIN A YEAR OR TWO?
VEHICLE WOULD CRANK MY NOT START. THIS WAS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM. ON JUNE 8, 2019, THE VEHICLE FAILED AND REQUIRED TO BE TOWED TO A SERVICE STATION. THE PROBLEM WAS DIAGNOSED AS A FAILURE OF THE TOTAL INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM).
MY VEHICLE HAS DECIDED TO START BOGGING AROUND 35MPH. IT HAS CONTINUALLY DONE THIS FOR A WEEK AND HAS DECIDED TO START DRIVING HORRIBLE. IT DOES NOT DRIVE LIKE IT HAS BEEN. WE ARE GOING TO CHECK WHAT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE SUNDAY (7/7/2019) AND ATTEMPT TO FIX. MY JEEP IS NO LONGER COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START IMMEDIATELY AND REQUIRED SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO START. THE FAILURE RECURRED CONSISTENTLY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ALSO FAILED TO OPERATE AT THE DESIRED SPEED IN INCLEMENT WHETHER WITH SEVERAL UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

DRIVING FROM THE GAS STATION TO THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE REAR AIR SUSPENSION FAILED TO SHUT OFF AND OVERINFLATED CAUSING THE FORWARD MOUNTS ON THE REAR SUBFRAME TO BE RIPPED OUT OF THE BODY OF THE CAR WHICH CAUSE THE SUBFRAME TO CRASH INTO THE EXHAUST, TRANSFER CASE, AND DRIVE SHAFT WHICH IMMOBILIZED THE VEHICLE. NO INJURIES OCCURRED LUCKILY AS THE VEHICLE HAD NOT MADE IT TO THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED.
WHEN GETTING OFF THE EXPRESSWAY OR HIGHWAY MY TRUCK CUTS OFF WHEN I EXIT FOR MY STOP NO POWER OR CONTROL OF THE POWER STEERING.
PERIODICALLY, THE VEHICLE STALLS IMMEDIATELY AFTER STARTING. I THEN HAVE TO KEEP PUSHING THE START/RUN BUTTON UNTIL THE CAR SWITCHES TO OFF AND THEN TRY TO RESTART THE CAR AGAIN. THIS GOES ON 5 OR 6 TIMES UNTIL IT STAYS RUNNING. I HAVE TRIED VERSIONS OF PUMPING THE GAS (BEFORE AND DURING). IT STILL STALLS. I AM USING TODAY'S DATE, BUT THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS.
TIPM FAILURES, IPM SYSTEMS FAILURE, PCM MULTIPLE FAILURES AND BACK ORDER ON STEERING WHEEL MODULE... DEALER CAN'T FIX IT

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO YARK CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM FIAT (6019 CENTRAL AVE, TOLEDO, OH 43615, (419) 877-7712) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SPARK PLUGS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT 95,000 MILES. THE FAILURE RECURRED, BUT THE CONTACT HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO REACH THE DEALER AGAIN. THE CONTACT RESEARCHED THE FAILURE AND FOUND THAT THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000.

IN AUGUST 2017 I PURCHASED THE 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE FROM MOSSY MOTORS. A RECALL 17V-435 WAS ISSUED AND AN UNKNOWN DEALERSHIP INSPECTED, NOT REPRISED, THE ALTERNATOR AND MARKED 'COMPLETE' TO THE RECALL. IN MAY 2019, THE ALTERNATOR, WHICH WAS IN RECALL 17V-436 QUIT WORKING WHILE DRIVING AND SURGED THE PCM ON MY CAR. CAUSING ALL STEERING, LIGHTS, ETC TO QUIT WORKING AND THANKFUL DID NOT CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. I WAS STRANDED OK THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND HAD TO BE TOWED. UPON REPLACING THE ALTERNATOR (WE PAID FOR BECAUSE WE THOUGHT ALL RECALLS WERE COMPLETE AS STATED - UNTIL FURTHER INVESTIGATION), IT WAS FOUND THE PCM ALSO NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO SURGING FROM THE ALTERNATOR THAT WAS INSPECTED, INSTEAD OF REPLACED. FCA IS REIMBURSING FOR THE ALTERNATOR BUT SAID THEY WILL NOT FOR THE PCM, ALTHOUGH I WAS TOLD FROM AN FCA CUSTOMER CARE SPECIALIST, FCA WAS AWARE THAT IF THE ALTERNATOR WAS NOT REPLACED IT WOULD INDEED CAUSE THE PCM TO FAIL. I HAVE ATTEMPTED SEVERAL TIMES TO DISPUTE THE NON-REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE PCM REPLACEMENT, BUT NO ONE AT FCA COULD GET A CASE MANAGER TO CALL ME BACK AND JUST INSTRUCTED ME TO CONTACT THE DEALERSHIP. THE DEALERSHIP WHO COMPLETED THE 'INSPECTION' IS UNKNOWN TO MYSELF, AND STATED UNKNOWN FROM THE CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE AT FCA.

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR WAS DEFECTIVE AND ALSO THAT TIPM (TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE) WAS THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PART WAS $1200-$1300 PARTS AND LABOR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED OR MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE SAME FAILURE OCCURRED PREVIOUSLY AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO HER RESIDENCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000.
I HAD BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH MY CAR STALLING WHILE CRANKING OR IT WOULD GET HUNG UP AND CUT RIGHT BACK OFF MORE THAN 3X NUMEROUS TIMES SO MANY I CAN'T COUNT! I CALLED MOPAR SERVICE NUMBER BECAUSE THE FIRST FUEL PUMP RELAY CALL AND THEY DID ABSOLUTELY TOLD ME TO GO TO A DEALERSHIP AND RUN DIAGNOSTICS WHICH IS AROUND $200 RIGHT OFF THE BAT! THIS WAS MAY OF 2019 HERE IT IS NOV AND THERE IS NOT A REMEDY YET OR PARTS AVAILABLE! I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY AND BE REIMBURSED ESPECIALLY WHEN I CALLED WAY BEFORE NOW ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM AS BEFORE!
ENGINE STALLS FOR NO REASON UNDER BRAKING AND DECELERATION. HAPPENS MORE OFTEN WHEN BRAKING AND TURNING. LOSS OF POWER STEERING WHEN IT HAPPENS. DOES NOT HAPPEN FREQUENTLY , MORE OFTEN IN THE COLD WHEN THE CAR HAS BEEN STARTED. CANT REPLICATE IT WHEN CAR IS HOT. DANGEROUS WHEN IT HAS HAPPENED ON EXIT RAMPS AS CAR HAS TO BE CONTROLLED WITH NO POWER STEERING AND CAR HAS TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP, PUT IN PARK WHERE IT HAS ALWAYS RESTARTED. PEOPLE BEHIND ME NOT HAPPY WHEN STOPPING ON EXIT RAMPS. HAVE BROUGHT TO DEALER AFTER IT HAS HAPPENED AND THE CAR HAS NOT THROWN ANY CODES. THERE IS NOT REAL PATTERN TO THIS STALLING, BUT, HAVING TO STOP THE CAR TO RESTART IT POSSES A DANGER OF GETTING REAR ENDED. HAPPENS AT SPEEDS BETWEEN 30 TO 60. HAPPENS MOST FREQUENTLY IN ROTARIES (ROUNDABOUTS) WHEN SLOWING DOWN TO ENTER.
I HAVE TAKEN MY JEEP IN TO THE DEALERSHIP THREE TIMES FOR AN ISSUE WITH REGARDS TO THE ENGINE CRANKING BUT NOT STARTING. THE DEALERSHIP HAS REPLACED THE KEY FOB AND IT IS STILL NOT ACTING RIGHT. TODAY JUNE 3, 2019 WILL MAKE THE FOURTH TIME TAKING MY TRUCK IN FOR THE SAME PROBLEM.

BRAKING FROM ~35MPH TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS THE CAR JUST STALLS WITHOUT ANY INDICATION OF ISSUE. NO POWER STEERING OR BRAKES. ALL ELECTRONICS STILL FUNCTIONAL. COAST TO TO A STOP AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, FIGHTING THE HEAVY STEERING TO AVOID CARS IN THE ON COMING LANE, PLACE IN PARK PRESS BRAKE PEDAL AND HIT START BUTTON, AND THE CAR STARTS RIGHT UP. DRIVE TO DEALERSHIP (PRIME JEEP IN SACO, MAINE). STEERING MODULE CLOCK SPRING WAS REPLACED LAST YEAR (AUGUST 2018) AS THE SUPPOSED CAUSE FOR THIS EXACT STALLING PROBLEM THAT WAS HAPPENING LAST YEAR.

TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK COMING FROM A/C CONDENSER/TRANSMISSION COOLER. SIGNIFICANT LEAKAGE OCCURRING LEADING TO PROBLEMATIC TRANSMISSION PERFORMANCE SUCH AS SLIPPAGE AND VEHICLE JERKING ON ACCELERATION OR DECELERATION. IT APPEARS THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THESE MODELS OF JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE AND THIS TYPE OF COMPONENT FAILURE SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. THIS SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF UNDER A MANUFACTURER RECALL OF THE PROBLEMATIC AREAS BEFORE SERIOUS ISSUES ARISE.
AFTER FAILING INSPECTION IT WAS IN SHOP 6 WEEKS FOR REPAIR BUT WAS NOT REPAIRED! IT MISSES MORE THAN EVER, MOST OFTEN DURING IDLE & HAS DIFFICULTY STARTING AT TIMES & YOU CAN SMELL GAS SOMETIMES MAKING ME FEAR IT WILL CATCH FIRE.

MY AIR BAG LIGHT RANDOMLY LIGHTS UP AND GOES AWAY AND SOMETIMES IT CHIMES WHEN IT POPS UP AND SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T. HERE RECENTLY, IT HAS DECIDED TO STAY ON. THERE IS NO CODE IF IT IS SCANNED.
