THE ON GOING DEATH WOBBLE ISSUE. THIS LAST INCIDENT , I WAS COMING HOME FROM WORK ON THE FLORIDA TURNPIKE DOING ABOUT 60 MPH AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN AND I LOST TOTAL CONTROL OF THE JEEP AND ALMOST GOT HIT BY AN 18 WHEELER... LUCKILY I MANAGED TO CUT TO MY RIGHT BEFORE HE HIT ME.
PURCHASED 2011 SAHARA MANUAL 2DR IN 3/2016. ON 2/24/2021 NOTICED SMOKE AND BURNING SMELL COMING FROM LEFT FRONT SIDE AS I WAS RETURNING HOME FROM A DOCTOR VISIT ON LOCAL 4 LANE 35 MPH HIGHWAY. STOPPED AT LOCAL JEEP DEALER,ROSS JEEP, 2 BLOCKS AWAY AND FIRE WAS VISIBLE FROM LEFT FRONT WHEEL. WAS TOLD FIRE DUE TO BRAKE "SEIZED" CAUSING FIRE TO ROTOR/BRAKE. 22,000 MILES CURRENTLY ON JEEP. HAVE SERVICED REGULARLY AS RECOMMENDED AND GARAGED WITH NO "OFF ROAD" DRIVING. MECHANIC/DEALER SUGGESTED NEW BRAKES AND ROTORS ON FRONT OF JEEP. WHY WITH ONLY 22,000 MILES WOULD I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BRAKES AND WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS PROBLEM ? FROM READING OTHER COMPLAINTS I FEEL LUCKY TO NOT HAVE HAD A TOTAL LOSS OF JEEP AND MY LIFE DUE TO FIRE. I HAD JEEP COMPLETELY CHECKED OUT PRIOR TO PURCHASE ALONG WITH CHECKING FOR RECALLS AND NO ISSUES SURFACED.
JEEP WAS TOWED TO SHOP DUE TO STARTER RANDOMLY CATCHING ON FIRE. ASKED MECHANICS TO CHECK THE ROAD WALK. THEY SAID EVERYTHING WAS FINE BUT JEEP BOUNCES ALL OVER THE ROAD. I HAVE DROVE MANY KEEPS AND THIS ISN'T NORMAL AND IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH THE HEATED SEATS. THEY TURN ON FOR 3-4 SECONDS AND SHUT BACK OFF.
I'VE EXPERIENCING A TERRIBLE WOBBLING WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY.I ONLY DRIVE BACK AND FORWARD TO WORK. I DO NOT OFF ROAD AT ALL!! I ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT THE OTHER DAY COMING FROM WORK. MY JEEP HAD A PISTON / CONNECTING ROD BREAK THROUGH BOTTOM OF MY ENGINE BLOCK MY JEEP WAS MAINTENANCED AND I'M SECOND OWNER AND IT ONLY HAS 74,000MI SO GO INTO NOW I'M PAYING ON VEHICLE AND NO WAY GET WORK, PLUG IN MY CODE READER AND FIND CODE OF DEATH LIKE REALLY. ANY WAY WAS INDICATED THAT MY NUMBER 4 CYLENDER HAD MISS FIRE LEADING TO STUCK IN A VERY EXPENSIVE PAPER WEIGHT. I WAS DRIVING NORTHBOUND ROUTE 209
When braking since these lights are on it will cause issue with the brakes themselves as if they don’t want to brake fully. Now I’m a 32 year old man and am aware of making sure your brakes are good and fully functioning. I’ve noticed also the steering when slowing down too from this. Nothing underneath the vehicle is an issue for steering. All steering components are fully functioning. I’ve noticed issues with the clock spring in the Jeep as well. Sometime it comes and goes (most likely and electoral problem) geez who knew! Haha, however when I’m turning the airbag light will stay on then go off and the lights on the steering wheel themselves with turn off. They’ve been off for awhile now. Since this is happening on a daily basis. When owing down it’s cause a very big issue for me because it will make the jeep want to turn in any direction it may feel and sometimes that direction is in another lane mostly on coming traffic! I have not had the jeep looked at by a dealer but has been by a mechanic with a $3000 scanner and he still has the codes stored for me. No and no.
HEATED SEATS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. OVERHEATING ON OCCASION WITH SMELL OF "BURNING" PLASTIC, AND NOT HEATING ON OTHER OCCASIONS.
THERE IS A BAD CONNECTION WITH THE GEARS ACCORDING TO THE TRANSMISSION. IT'S SLIPPING AND DELAYED MOVEMENT TO THE VEHICLE. FROM TIME TO TIME, THE VEHICLE WILL SLOW DOWN OR STOP ALL OF A SUDDEN WHEN DRIVING OR TURNING A CORNER. IT'S VERY DANGEROUS ESPECIALLY IF SOMEONE IS ON YOUR BUTT.
MY AIRBAG LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON INTERMITTENTLY. TOOK IT TO A DEALERSHIP AND SAYS THE CLOCK SPRING HAS GONE BAD. I SEE THERE IS A RECALL FOR JEEP'S THAT ARE RIGHT HANDED FOR THIS SAME ISSUE. I ALSO SEE ON THE FORUMS AND THIS WEBSITE THAT IT IS HAPPENING TO A LOT OF LEFT HANDED JEEP WRANGLERS. I THINK THE RECALL SHOULD BE FOR BOTH. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD AS I LEARN MY DRIVERS SIDE AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY IF I AM IN A WRECK.
FUEL OVERFLOWS WHILE FILLING TANK. FUEL SPILLS ON PEOPLE, VEHICLE, AND GROUND.
MY AIR BAG LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON RANDOMLY. I TOOK IT TO A FRIEND WHO WORKS FOR CHRYSLER AS A MECHANIC AND HIS CODE READER MENTIONED THE STEERING WHEEL AIR BAG IS THE CULPRIT. WE'VE DETERMINED THAT THE CLOCK SPRING IS THE ROOT OF THE ISSUE. ALTHOUGH NOT OF THE SAME RECALL GROUP, THIS IS EXACTLY LIKE THE 2016'S RECALL OF 2007-2010 US WRANGLERS, AND OVER 7K+ RIGHT-HAND DRIVE WRANGLERS. IM SURE MY WRANGLER IS NOT THE ONLY 2011 HAVING THIS ISSUE. CONSIDERING WE'VE BEEN DEALING WITH TONS OF DUST AND SOOT IN CALIFORNIA DUE TO WILDFIRES EVERYWHERE, IT IS LIKELY THE DUST TRIGGERING THIS; NONETHELESS FITTING THE PROFILE OF THE RECALL IN 2016 EXACTLY AS IT IS. I BELIEVE CHRYSLER/FIAT SHOULD HONOR VEHICLES BUILT IN THAT YEAR RANGE AS IT SEEMS THEY ARE STILL AFFECTED BY THIS DESIGN FLAW.
WHEN FILLING UP WITH FUEL, THE GAS WILL SPIT BACK AND SPILL FUEL ON THE SIDE OF JEEP AND GROUND, EVEN AFTER THE AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF OF THE HOSE ENGAGES. HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL, MAYBE 5 DOZEN, TIMES SINCE I'VE OWNED IT. IT US WELL DOCUMENTED FROM THOUSANDS OF OWNERS OF THIS STYLE JEEP HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM.

I WORK FOR USPS I AM REQUIRED TO USE MY JEEP ON A DAILY BASIS THIS IS COSTING ME MONEY COULD OF COST ME MY LIFE ALSO! I USE MY JEEP RUN LIKE 250 MILE PLUS PER DAY. I CONTACT MY DEALER SHIP THEY SAY THERE IS NO ETA TIME I'M LIKE WHAT THAT'S SHE LIKE I DON'T KNOW WHEN WE GET YOU A SEAT BELT I'M LIKE WELL I NEED IT'S MY WORK VEHICLE AND THAT'S MY DRIVER SIDE AND STILL THEY DIDN'T HELP ME! FIRST MY HORN STOPPED WORKING THEN THE BUTTONS ON THE STEERING WHEEL QUIT WORKING THEN THE RADIO STARTED GETTING ALL STATIC BUT AT FIRST WHEN RADIO STARTED BEING STATIC THE CD PLAYER STILL WORKED AND THEN THE CD PLAYER WOULD PLAY INTERMITTENLY AND NOT A SOUND IN RADIO MODE NOW NOW CD , NO RADIO, NO STEERING WHEEL BUTTON AND NO HORN. THE CRUISE CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON IF THE BUTTON IS PRESSED BUT THAT IS IT. IT IS IMPORTANT TO HAVE A WORKING HORN SAFETY!!! I WAS TOLD IT IS THE CLOCKSPRING GOING OUT AND CAUSING ALL THESE ISSUES AND CAUSEING THE AMPLIFIER TO FAIL AND THE STEREO MALFUNCTION AND NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. COSTING A COUPLE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
WHILE HEADLIGHTS/FOG LIGHTS ON, RIGHT TURN SIGNAL ON AS VEHICLE MAKING TURN FOG LIGHTS GO OFF. INTERMITTENT SOUND WITH AM-FM PART OF RADIO, SATELLITE PART WORKS FINE .
ENGINE FAILURE. WHILE TRAVELING AT 75MPH ON THE HIGHWAY, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER AND THREW A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE AND ATTEMPTED TO RESTART IT. THE VEHICLE DID NOT IMMEDIATELY RESTART, BUT DID SO ON THE SECOND TRY. I DROVE AWAY AND APPROXIMATELY A MILE DOWN THE ROAD, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO KNOCK AND MAKE BANGING NOISES, I PULLED OVER ONCE AGAIN AND CALLED A TOW TUCK. VEHICLE WAS LATER DIAGNOSED WITH FAILED ROD BEARINGS AND REQUIRED A FULL REBUILD. VEHICLE HAD 125K MILES AT THE TIME OF FAILURE.
DRIVING DOWN ROAD VEHICLE STARTED TO FLAME FROM RIGHT FRONT PASSENGER SIDE NEAR FRONT. PULLED OVER. GOT OUT IN TIME AT WHICH TIME VEHICLE WENT UP IN FLAMES. CALLED 911 AND FIRE DEPARTMENT CAME PUT OUT FIRE LEFT FIRE REIGNITED AND THEY CAME BACK TO PUT OUT. CALLED INSURANCE, FILED CASE WITH CHRYSLER GOT NO RESPONSE. VEHICLE WAS NOT MODIFIED OR USED FOR OFF ROAD THIS WAS A VEHICLE USED FOR REGULAR COMMUTE TO WORK. THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING A SPEED OF APPROX 35 MPH ON A CITY STREET. RAYMOND STREET. BELIEVE IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH FUEL SYSTEM IN RELATION TO ENGINE. EVERY TIME WE FILL THE GAS TANK, FUEL SPEWS/SPILLS OUT AT THE END OF PUMPING THE GAS.

I BROUGHT MY JEEP IN FOR THE AIR BAG LIGHT BEING ON AND A RECALL FOR TGE INFLATOR, AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE LIGHT WAS ON DO TO THE DRIVERS SIDE AIR BAG AND THERE COULD BE A POTENTIAL PROBLEM TGAT ISN'T A RECALL FOR THE CLOCK SPRING
WHEN I FILL THE GAS TANK, THE STATION PUMP CLICKS OFF THE NOZZLE THEN GAS SPITS BACK OUT OF MY TANK ALL OVER THE SIDE OF MY JEEP AND ONTO THE GROUND.
WHEN FILLING THE FUEL TANK, GASOLINE SPEWS OUT OF THE FILLER TUBE AS THE GAS PUMP CLICKS OFF AT "FULL" LEVEL. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF. THIS PROBLEM HAPPENS ALMOST EVERY TIME I FILL THE TANK
DRIVING TO WORK MY WRANGLER DIED AND BURST INTO FLAMES MOVING FROM THE BACK TO THE FRONT. I WAS NORTHBOUND ON HWY 265 WHEN VEHICLE DIED AND STARTED BURNING.*DT*JB
WHEN FILLING WITH FUEL, GAS WILL SPIT BACK FROM THE FILLER NECK AND ALL OVER THE SIDE OF THE JEEP RIGHT BEFORE THE FUEL NOZZLE CLICKS OFF. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES NOW IN THE 3 WEEKS SINCE I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE FROM A DEALER. THIS CREATES A FIRE HAZARD IN THE EVENT GAS HIT A HOT SPOT OR A SPARK CAUSED BY STATIC, ETC...
SO THEY (MOPAR/JEEP) HAVE HAD THIS JEEP CLOCK SPRING RECALL ISSUE FOR A WHILE NOW... WE HAVE HAD IT REPLACED TWICE NOW UNDER THE RECALL AND IT IS STILL DOING THE EXACT SAME THING... SO THE RECALL FIX WAS NOTHING BUT A SHAM... IT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS AND I AM NOT FIXING IT FOR A THIRD TIME WHEN THE SOLUTION THEY CAME UP WITH FOR THE RECALL IS NOT A SOLUTION IT JUST MASKS THE PROBLEM FOR A LITTLE WHILE... SO NOW ONCE AGAIN THE CLOCK SPRING IS OUT IN IT AND I AM AT MY WITS END WITH IT!
DURING THE EVENING OF OCTOBER 16, 2019 WHILE DRIVING ON INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 84 NEAR THE EAGLE ROAD EXIT 46 WITH MY 5 YEAR OLD GRANDSON, MY JEEP HAD A CATASTROPHIC ELECTRICAL FAILURE. I COULD NOT GET THE TURN SIGNALS, HEADLIGHTS, WINDSHIELD WIPERS, OR HORN TO WORK. LATER I LEARNED THAT AT LEAST THE DRIVERS AIR BAG WAS ALSO INOPERABLE. THE NEXT MORNING MY LOCAL JEEP DEALER (LARRY H MILLER, BOISE, ID) DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS A FAILURE OF THE 'CLOCK SPRING' THE SERVICE MANAGER CALLED ME AND SAID THAT DUE TO THE ONGOING RECALL OF CERTAIN RIGHT HAND DRIVE JEEP WRANGLERS (NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS:16V288000, 13V176000, AND 11V528000, ALL INVOLVING THE CLOCK SPRING) A NEW, REDESIGNED, CLOCK SPRING IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR NON-RECALLED VEHICLES. HE TO INSTALL AT MY EPENSE A NEW CLOCK SPRING, BUT OF THE OLD DESIGN, WHICH WOULD EVENTUALLY FAIL.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON WITH NO WARNING. THE AIRBAG LIGHT WOULD GO OFF AND ON. TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN STATIONARY WILL ALSO MAKE THE LIGHT COME ON AND OFF.

THE CONTACT CALLED MARINO CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE (5133 W IRVING PARK RD, CHICAGO, IL 60641, (773) 777-2000) AND INFORMED THEM OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
I HAD JUST DROPPED MY 6 YEAR OLD OFF SCHOOL, WENT TO LEAVE WITH MY 7 MONTH OLD AND ENDED UP STRANDED BECAUSE THE ALTERNATOR WENT OUT, JUST TO FIND OUT THAT THERE IS A SENSOR IN THE COMPUTER AND ISN'T SOMETHING THAT CAN BE FIXED REAL QUICK. SO NOW AM IN A MAJOR BIND TRYING TO GET MY FAMILY PLACES WHILE MY JEEP SITS.
CLOCK SPRING MALFUNCTION- THE BUTTONS ON THE STEERING WHEEL HAVE ALL GONE OUT, THE HORN NO LONGER WORKS, AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON. THIS HAPPENED SUDDENLY WHEN I WENT TO TURN MY CAR ON AFTER IT HAD BEEN PARKED AND TURNED OFF FOR THE NIGHT.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 91,000. *DT CONTACT STATED HE HAD A FAULTY CLOCKSPRING CAUSING THE AIRBAG LIGHT TO STAY ON. CONTACT'S VIN WAS NOT ON THE RECALL.*JB
SEATBELT IS NOT RECOGNIZED AS BEING CLICKED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THE AIR BAGS WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE HORN BECAME INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A DEFECTIVE CLOCKSPRING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER, NO ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 108,000.
2011JEEP WRANGLER SAHARA LEFT REAR BRAKE HAS FROZEN WHILE APPLIED AND CAUSED EXCESSIVE HEAT AND PARTS DAMAGED ON 3 SEPARATE OCASSIONS. ENTIRE BRAKE ASSEMBLY WAS REPAIRED AND REPLACED WITH NEW COMPONENTS AFTER EACH FAILURE BUT CONTINUES TO BE A PROBLEM. VEHICLE IS IN MOTION AT ANY SPEED ON ANY SURFACE TO HAPPEN. TIRE DAMAGE AND BRAKE LOSS IS A POSSIBILITY IF DRIVEN WITH THIS ISSUE.
I SPOKE TO BROWN'S FORD IN PATCHOGUE AT 8:58AM AS WELL AS RIVERHEAD CHRYSLER 9:30AM TODAY TO BRING THE JEEP IN FOR THE AIRBAG RECALL. THEY INFORMED ME THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS FOR THE AIRBAG PROPELLANT RECALL AND DO NOT HAVE A DATE FOR ARRIVAL ONLY TO SAY MOST LIKELY JULY. THEY WOULD TAKE MY INFO AND CALL ONCE THE PARTS ARE IN. I BELIEVE THIS RECALL IS A VERY IMPORTANT ONE THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE ASAP, NOT A MONTH OR TWO FROM NOW.
I AM NOT ABLE TO GET THE AIR BAG RECALL DONE DUE TO THE FACT THAT I NO LONGER HAVE THE STOCK STEREO.
REPEATED FAILURE OF RADIATOR AND THERMOSTAT HOUSING. ANNUAL REPLACEMENT PLUS THE HEATER CORE DETERIORATION DUE TO PH LEVELS. BAD DESIGN. SAFETY ISSUE AS A FAILED RADIATOR BLOWS UP STEAM AND BLOCKS VIEW IN MOTION IN UNSAFE.
THE OE HOOD LATCHES DEGRADE OVER TIME ALLOWING THE HOOD TO VIBRATE AND "LIFT" ESPECIALLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THIS IS WELL DOCUMENTED ANECDOTALLY - GOOGLE "WRANGLER JK HOOD FLUTTER". I SAW THE FRONT OF MY HOOD MOVING AT LEAST 1" TO THE POINT WHERE I FEARED IT WOULD FLY UP OVER THE WINDSHIELD. I REPLACED MY LATCHES WITH THOSE FROM THE 2018-19 WRANGLER JL MODEL WHICH NOW USES A METAL RING IN PLACE OF THE RUBBER BAND ON THE JK LATCH. THIS INDICATES TO ME THAT FCA REALIZES THE JK DESIGN IS FAULTY.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DICK SCOTT CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (684 ANN ARBOR RD W, PLYMOUTH, MI 48170, (734) 451-2110) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLOCKSPRING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED, BUT NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS SIMILAR TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 13V176000, 11V528000, AND 16V288000 (AIR BAGS). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
AIR BAG CLOCK SPRING DOES NOT WORK. IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD....AIRBAGS, HORN AND CRUISE CONTROL, WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT THIS PART. IN TEXAS, IT WILL NOT PASS INSPECTION. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE ADVISED TO BECOMING A RECALL FOR JEEP WRANGLERS THAT WERE BUILD IN THE SAME PLANT AS MINE JEEP. *TR
RECENTLY HAD AIRBAG REPLACED PER RECALL. ABOUT 2 WEEKS BEFORE, AIRBAG LIGHT ON CONSOLE NOW COMES ON INTERMITTENTLY, USUALLY AT LOWER SPEEDS. WILL GO OFF FOR BRIEF PERIOD, THEN ALARMS AND ILLUMINATES AGAIN. THIS BEGAN WITH AROUND 149,500 MILES. I AM ORIGINAL PURCHASER. AIRBAG LIGHT WAS DOING THIS AT TIME OF AIRBAG REPLACEMENT. I CONFIRMED AUTHORIZED REPAIR DEPT. WAS AWARE OF THIS, AND THEY CONFIRMED. INFORMED ME TO SCHEDULE FOLLOWUP APPOINTMENT FOR REPAIR. VEHICLE HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN NO ACCIDENTS. UPON PERSONAL REVIEW, IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THIS MAY BE A CLOCK SPRING ISSUE, AS BUTTONS ON STEERING WHEEL ARE NON-OPERATIONAL, EXCEPT CRUISE CONTROL AND HORN.
HOOD FLUTTERS AT NORMAL SPEED ON ANY TYPE OF ROAD UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS.
DRIVNING ON INTERSTATE IN OHIO AFTER STOP AT SERVICE PLAZA AND JUST GOT OFF RAMP PULLING ONTO INTERSTATE AND OIL LIGHT POPPED UP AND AT SAME TIME ENGINE MADE A NOISE. IMMEDIATELY PULLED OFF ROAD. TURNED OFF JEEP, CALLED AAA. THEY TOWED ME. I'M TOLD IT NEEDS A NEW ENGINE. I HAVE RECORDS OF GOOD CARE OF THIS VEHICLE. IT ONLY HAD 56,500 MILES. I'M FINDING OUT OTHERS ONLINE OTHERS WENT THROUGH SAME. THE GARAGE TELLS ME THAT JEEP KNOWS OF THE PROBLEM AND PUT A NEW UPGRADE TO ENGINES. THESE ENGINES SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED. NOW I'M FACING THOUSANDS FOR A NEW ENGINE AND I AM WITHOUT A VEHICLE. I HAVE CONTACTED JEEP AND WAITING FOR A RESPONSE.
WHEN FILLING UP AT A FUEL PUMP, THE FUEL PUMP HANDLE WILL CLICK OFF AND AFTER THAT HAPPENS, ABOUT 1/4 OF A GALLON OF FUEL WILL SPILL OUT OF THE FILLER NECK ONTO THE SIDE OF MY VEHICLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER PARKING ON A SLIGHT INCLINE AND TURNING THE ENGINE OFF, THE VEHICLE ERRONEOUSLY ROLLED FORWARD AND CRASHED INTO A TREE. DURING THE INCIDENT THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS ENGAGED AND THE GEAR SHIFTER WAS IN FIRST GEAR. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. NO POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER (1200 E. CARROLL ST, TULLAHOMA, TN) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE HAD OCCURRED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.

2011 JEEP SAHARA WRANGLER REFUELING PROBLEM. REFUELING GEYSER OVERFLOW PROBLEM OF GASOLINE AT WHERE NOZZLE ENTERS VEHICLE. REQUIRES MANUALLY CLICKING OFF HANDLE WHEN FUEL TANK IS COMPLETELY FULL OVERFLOWING GASOLINE ON GROUND, JEEP, AND SELF, (FUEL ON HANDS AND SHOES). THIS OVERFLOW OCCURRED JANUARY 25, 2019, FEBRUARY 11, 2019, AND MARCH 10, 2019. WE ARE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS FROM BERGLUND JEEP DODGE RAM DEALERSHIP AND THE SERVICE ADVISOR INDICATED REPAIRS WOULD NOT BE COVERED APRIL 3, 2019.
