On 1-16-25 I was involved in a vehicle crash in which the airbags "did not" deploy. The vehicle is at my home, the brakes locked also. I have photos. No inspection to my knowledge. Yet. Insurance claim was filed. I do not have a police report yet. No warning lights or sensors.

The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Engine rod bearings loose torque and piston break make a hole into block, I fix the engine but my cat converter failed
I was involved in a car accident where a truck pulled out in front of me causing me to hit him in his side with the front passenger side of my car resulting in the car to roll two times. As a result of the airbags not deploying the windshield came into the car causing lacerations to the face of the passenger and as the car was rolling his right arm was out of the window causing him to have to have staples put in his arm and the skin on his hand was gone both driver and passenger had concussions and I feel that these injuries could have been avoided if the airbags (front and side ) were to deploy !
I was driving doing about 30 mph and hit a boulder and came to complete stop and my air bags did not deploy. And there is another feature vogue or on star that is spouse to call for help did not go off either.

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE RETRACTOR, RECEIVER, AND BUCKLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,504.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND OPENED CASE NUMBER: 12597330, BUT NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.
I WAS SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT AND WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN, I PROCEEDED TO DRIVE ABOUT 20 MPH. ABOUT 30 SECONDS LATER, I RECEIVED A HEAVY PUNCH IN MY CHEST AND STOMACH AREA. I YELLED, "WHAT IS GOING ON". I THEN NOTICED THE AIRBAG HAD DEPLOYED AND EXPLODED CAUSING MULTIPLE BURNS AND BRUISES TO MY ARMS, CHEST, CLAVICLE AND STOMACH AREAS. I WAS A LITTLE DISORIENTED AFTER THIS BUT MANAGED TO GET OUT OF THE CAR. ONCE OUT OF THE CAR, I NOTICED I HAD REAR-ENDED THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME AND THE DRIVER WAS TELLING ME TO GET AWAY FROM THE CAR SINCE MY CAR WAS SMOKING. IT WAS 95 DEGREES THAT DAY AND I DID NOT HAVE THE AIR CONDITIONING ON. THIS WAS A DEFECTIVE AIRBAG.

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE WHATSOEVER TO ANY OF MY CALLS OR E-MAILS. WHAT DO I DO TO GET SERVICE FOR THIS DANGEROUS CONDITION IN MY CAR?. I WAS SECOND IN LINE AT A STOP SIGN AND WAS HIT BY 2006 FORD F150 TRAVELING ABOUT 50 MPH IN THE DRIVERS FRONT QUARTER PANEL. THE ONLY 2 AIRBAGS THAT DEPLOYED WERE THE STEERING WHEEL AND THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG. THE 2 IN THE PILLARS COMING DOWN ALONG THE WINDSHIELD DID NOT DEPLOY, NEITHER DID THE ONES ON THE DOOR. *TR
WAS MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN INTO A PARKING SPOT NEXT TO CAR THAT WAS ALREADY PARKED, WAS BARELY MOVING WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR TAKES OFF HITS THE CURB AND HITS THE WALL OF A BUILDING, AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. I HAD 3 PEOPLE IN THE BACK SEAT BUT THE CENTER SEAT BELT WOULD NOT STAY LOCKED FROM THE START. THIS DIDNT CHANGE REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY TIMES IT WAS ATTEMPTED. IT HAS SINCE BEEN REPLACED BY DEALER BECAUSE I COMPLAINED IT WAS A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN I HAVE 3 PEOPLE IN THE BACK SEAT. THE CAR HAS ALWAYS HAD A SMALL GRADUAL DRIFT TO THE RIGHT. DEALER DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING. LATER I HAD THE ALIGNMENT DONE BY SOMEONE ELSE. THEY SHOWED ME BOTH FRONT AND REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRES COULD NOT BE ALIGNED TO TRUE. THEY SAID THE FRONT WILL BE FIXED BY NEW STRUT BUT BACK IS A STRAIGHT AXLE THAT CANT BE ALIGNED. THE CAR ALWAYS DRIFTED RIGHT AND STILL DOES. I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THE DEALER WITH 10 MILES ON IT

WINDSHIELD WIPERS TOO SLOW ON FASTEST SPEED. OLD CAR HAD FASTER WIPERS. SEAT BELTS HARD TO CLICK AND UNCLICK, VERY AWKWARD ACCESS TO SEATBELT BUCKLE. BRAKES: USER FORCE TOO HARD, VERY FATIGUING. WHEN ENGINE STARTS INITIAL IDLE SPEED CONTROL NOT SMOOTH GOES UP AND DOWN YET COMPUTER DOES NOT LOG AN ERROR. THIS IS MORE THAN 50 RPM. AMERICAN CAR WOULD PROBABLY LOG ERROR IF CAR DID THAT. CAUSES CAR TO LURCH UNEXPECTEDLY WHEN PULLING OUT OF DRIVEWAY.
