There are 1 owner-reported lighting complaints for the 2022 Lincoln Aviatorin NHTSA's database. These are unverified consumer reports and may not reflect confirmed defects.
When starting the car at night, the center display will run at full daytime brightness until the driver manually presses one of the up/down display/interior brightness control buttons. Once pressed, the system "realizes" that it's night time and adjusts accordingly. Having the display at full brightness at night is a safety hazard for drivers unaware that you can use the brightness control buttons as a workaround. My local dealership says this is "normal" behavior.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
