TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 LINCOLN TOWN CAR. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 45 MPH THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS ENGAGED, FOLLOWED BY AN UNINTENDED ACCELERATION AND THE SPEED INCREASED TO APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH. THE GEAR WAS SHIFTED FROM DRIVE TO NEUTRAL AND THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO SLOW DOWN. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
