BRAKE BOOSTER GOING OUT ON MY 2010 CX-9 AT 97,000 MILES MAZDA IS PLAYING GAMES SAYING IF I BRING TO DEALER AND PAY $120 DIAGNOSTIC FEE, THEY "MAY ASSIST" IF CONFIRMED. SUPERVISOR WOULD NOT QUOTE WORK BUT OFFERED RANGE OF $800-$1300 FOR REPAIR, WOULD NOT PROVIDE HOW MUCH MAZDA WOULD COVER. LOCAL SHOP CHARGES $450. MAZDA RIPOFF!
VEHICLE SKIDS DURING RAIN/SNOW CONDITION AS IF I WILL LOSE CONTROL OF CAR. BRAKES WERE CHECKED & CHANGED BUT THE PROBLEM STILL OCCURS. I EXPERIENCED ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS OVER THE PAST YEARS. I CONTACTED MAZDA DEALER AND WAS TOLD I HAD TO WAIT TO HEAR FROM MANUFACTURE...STILL WAITING.
WHEN IT IS COLD OUTSIDE AND I AM BACKING OUT OR DRIVING FORWARD AND I BRAKE IT MAKES A GRINDING NOISE. I HAVE HAD MY BRAKES CHANGED AND THAT WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. IT ONLY DOES IT WHEN IT IS COLD OUT SIDE AFTER IT GETS WARMED UP IT STOPS. *TR
I WAS STARTING THE CAR IN THE MORNING ON MY DRIVEWAY. I SWITCHED THE CAR ON R AND I START TO BACK UP. WHEN I PRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL , I REALIZED I HAVE NO BRAKE POWER. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP THE CAR. I HAD TO USED THE PARKING BRAKE TO STOP IT. I'VE TRIED FOR 5 MINUTES TO SEE IF BRAKES ARE WORKING WITH NO RESULT. THEY WERE DEAD!! WHEN THE CARD WAS STARTED , THERE WAS NO MALFUNCTION INDICATOR ON THE DASH.2 MONTHS BEFORE THIS, I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP REPORTING THAT BRAKING PERFORMANCE DECREASED A LOT. THEY INVESTIGATED THE CAR AND FOUND "NO DEFECT" AND TOLD ME THE CAR IS WORKING AS IT SHOULD...YEAS SURE!! MY LUCK WAS THAT I WAS NOT DRIVING THE CAR ON THE ROADS. IMAGINE LOOSING BRAKE AR 60 MPH. *TR
