The Crank Ventilation code is showing up for a code and this has been happening to all of these GLC coupes. The check engine light comes on.
Catastrophic engine failure at 63,000 miles. Mechanic says its a known issue with this particular make and model of that year. Dealer says I need to replace the engine.
Getting error code P052e which has been a very common issue with these engines on Mercedes models. It does not affect driving but since it’s out of warranty, it will cost over $3,000 to repair. Mercedes knows this and included it on their extended warranty for Diesel engines, not gasoline.
I got the P052E error at about 50k miles. Many GLC 300s apparently have this issue. I need a new crank case valve I believe and they put the part in a terrible place. Dealers charging over $1k in just labor.
WHILH E DRIVING WITH A PASSANGER IN THE FRONT SEAT, AND PROPERLY BUCKELED UP. THE PASSENGER SEAT BELT WILL RANDOMLY TIGHTEN UP AND THE SEAT BELT LIGHT WILL FLASH ON THE DASHBOARD AND THE SEAT BELT AUDIBLE BELL WILL SOUND, THIS WILL LAST FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THEN STOP FOR A FEW MINUTES THEN START AGAIN. I WENT TO THE DEALER AND GOT THE EARLIEST APPOINTMENT TO GET IT FIXED WHICH IS OVER 30 DAYS AWAY (7-26-22), I ASKED WAS IT STILL SAFE TO DRIVE THE SUV AND WAS TOLD TMHEY BELIVED IT WAS OK BECAUSE IT SOUNDED LIKE A SEATBELT LATCH ISSUE, I HAVE DISCIVERED THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM BUT NOT MY MODEL YEAR
I pressed the "Park" button, but the transmission did not go into park. When I let my foot off the break, thinking that I was in Park, the car started rolling backwards. Thank God my wife was in the car and noticed the motion and shouted to me to break the car. I was able to stop the car before hitting anybody or anything, but it was dangerously scary.
The contact owns a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC300. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the front roof panel between the windshield and sunroof detached from the vehicle. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer and was not repaired. The contact became aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V715000 (Visibility) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 68,000. Warranty on the car has expired and was told consumer would have to pay for it. Rep said she would talk to other people to see what can be done but she is not making any promises.
crankcase ventilation valve replacement required confirmed by the dealer. check engine light came on as notification. It appears to be a very standard problem on the the glc300 when they hit 60,000 miles and are out of warranty. $2000 repair
I was suggest by dealer to replace crank case vent value as its blocked and quoted $300 for part and 1800 for labor cost as they need to remove whole engine and replace part. Issue is how can mercedes benz design such engine with 6-7 hrs of labor intensive work and 6 times higher labor cost than part cost. I was told this work is necessary for engine efficiency and to pass SMOG test. I feel design issue is related to car / passenger safety and environment hazard. Also it looks like a very common recurring issue with mercedes models based google search. Added to it local dealer didnt find a problem when my car is under warranty or within service packages. Warranty completed and came up with these problems.
vent valve po52e71 - I have found thousands of the same issue with my car online. Mercedes covers this piece as an emission piece for Deisal Engine but not gas engines. This peice needs to be recalled and covered under emissions warranty asap.
While driving vehicle, the seat belt pretensioner is activated and the seat belt light and alarm is activated. This cycle occurs throughout the drive, regardless of speed. Seems as though the seat belt latch does not sense that the seat belt is activated. This is very distracting to the driver. We reported the issue to the dealership, but have not heard anything since the report. This problem occurs on and off, randomly. May occur for a week straight, then stop for a day or two, then start again.
Was driving on the freeway car started to shake. Speed dropped from 73 to 40 I was thankfully able to merge off the freeway. I stoped to see if there was any visible damage. Everything look normal. Was able to make it home. Husband changed spark plugs and coils. Also bought another small part nothing fixed it. Took it to two different auto shops one being Mercedes. They both confirmed it's a blown engine at 47,000 miles. Unbelievable.
The fuel line leaks directly under the driver seat. Filling the cabin with fuel vapors. Mercedes has an extended warranty for this problem but only on vehicles from 2004 to 2009.
P052E code, Positive Crankcase Ventilation Regulator Valve failed. It is a known issue by Mercedes Benz on its 2016 and newer C-Class and GLC class vehicles. The valve is clearly a manufacturer defect that is burdensome to the consumer as the part is located near the engine mount and prohibitively expensive to fix due to per hour labor rates. Hundreds if not thousands of consumers have been affected through no fault of their own.
The steering column has stopped moving up/down. I guess due to some latency build up (after having tried to adjust the steering a few times prior to the drive) caused the steering to move down (one time incident) while driving and caused momentary loss of steering control due to slippage and had to pull over to the shoulder of the freeway. While this was a one time incident it could become a safety issue...this seems to be a rampant issue (up/down movement getting jammed) on all MB vehicles and anything related to critical vehicular controls should be flagged as such.
driving car and engine failed, #1 piston crack, turbo metal filings ruined it also, very expensive repair. both engine and turbo had to be replaced by mercedes benz service. many others are reporting this also, catastrophic failure at speed possible - not known if any fatalities associates with these engines (on both c300 and glc300 circa 2015 to ~2018)
check engine light appears, car runs fine. the crankcase vent value was broken on our 2017 GLC300 car. a mechanic, with a computer, ran the codes and shared this happens many times to this car. the service advisor at mercedes shared the same input. happens all the time and should be covered under emissions warranty but isn't. this disfunction does not affect driving of car, just emission and (sales pitch to fix it) "could" affect engine in long term. i suspect this is a defective piece in the system that mercedes won't address or cover under emissions warranty.
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Car is at Mercedes dealer for repair. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Yes, car lost acceleration on freeway and put other drivers at risk on the road. Lucky to get off freeway and pull over without any injuries. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Dealer provided feedback cracked piston, cylinder # 2. Reading on forums, others continue to have the same issue. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Inspected by Mercedes bens manufacturer. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? in retrospect, some slow acceleration delays 1-2 days prior, but not consistent.
The contact owns a 2017 Mercedes Benz GLC300. The contact stated while driving approximately 55 mph, suddenly there was a loud sound and vibration coming from the vehicle. After stopping the vehicle, it was discovered that sections of the panoramic roof had separated and dislodged from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who indicated that the vehicle was included in the NHTSA recall campaign number 21V197000 (Structure) however, the part needed to repair the vehicle was not yet available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 62,000.
WHILE DRIVING, THE MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL/CHECK ENGINE LIGHT) CAME ON. AFTER SOME DIGGING THIS WAS CAUSED BY AN OBD II CODE OF P052E, WHICH INDICATES A BLOCKED CRANKCASE VENT VALVE ACTUATOR. THIS APPEARS TO BE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT IN THESE VEHICLES.
SMELLS LIKE GAS COMING THROUGH THE VENTS INTO THE CABIN OF THE VEHICLE AND CAUSES HEADACHES

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC300. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A U-TURN, SHE HEARD AN ABNORMAL SOUND. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THE FOLLOWING DAY, SHE NOTICED THE STEERING WHEEL FEATURES INCLUDING THE HORN AND AIR BAG WERE INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER HOFFMAN LEXUS (750 CONNECTICUT BLVD, EAST HARTFORD, CT 06108, (860) 525-3987) AND THE DEALER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER NEW COUNTRY MERCEDES-BENZ (1 WESTON ST, HARTFORD, CT 06120, (860) 278-2000) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH NEEDING THE CLOCK SPRING TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED AS OF YET. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.
FUEL LINE LEAK: THE TEMPERATURE IN S. FLORIDA HIT A LOW OF 45 DEGREES TONIGHT ON 1 DEC 2020, FIRST NOTING THE ISSUE DESCRIBED. UPON RETURN HOME FROM AN 8 MILE TOTAL TRIP TO THE STORE, MY DAUGHTERS EXITED THE VEHICLE AND NOTED A STRONG GASOLINE ODOR. UPON INVESTIGATION MYSELF, I FOUND GASOLINE POOLING BEHIND THE ENGINE WHERE THE MAIN FUEL LINE CONNECTS TO A RUBBER HOSE. THE POOLING WAS ON THE REAR OF THE UNDERCARRIAGE COVER AS ALSO DESCRIBED BELOW. THERE IS APPARENTLY A REVISED FUEL LINE CONNECTOR AVAILABLE, NO RECALL AS YET. THIS JOINT IS APPARENTLY PART OF THE LOW-PRESSURE FUEL SYSTEM (4 BAR), NOT THE HIGH-PRESSURE SIDE (200 BAR)."
I HAD AN ACCIDENT AND REARENDEAD ANOTHER CA. HOWEVER MY AIRBAGS DIDN'T DEPLOYED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 MERCEDES BENZ GLC300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HIS WIFE WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A 2ND VEHICLE. DURING THE CRASH THE FRONT END WAS SEVERELY DAMAGED BUT THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. ALSO, THE COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONED AND DID NOT STOP THE VEHICLE TO AVOID THE COLLISION. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED BRUISES TO THE TORSO AREA WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL TREATMENT. AN OCCUPANT FROM THE 2ND VEHICLE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE. NO FURTHER INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE. A POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN AT THE SCENE AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AWAY. THE LOCAL DEALER MERCEDES BENZ OF HUNTSVILLE (6220 UNIVERSITY DR. HUNTSVILLE, AL) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WERE NOT DETERMINED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000.
THE PANORAMIC SUNROOF EXPLODED OUTWARD. I WAS DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED ON THIS VEHICLE
TRAVELING 60 MPH ON INTERSTATE, WHEN STEERING WHEEL JERKED TO THE RIGHT AND THEN LEFT, BRAKES AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED, AND SEAT BELT TIGHTENED. LASTED FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 MILES, THEN JERKING STOPPED. WITHIN ANOTHER 30 MILES HAPPENED 3 MORE TIMES. EACH TIME AN ALERT APPEARED ON DISPLAY 'BLIND SPOT ASSIST IS DEACTIVATED, NOT OPERATIONAL'. STOPPED AND HAD CAR WASHED TO REMOVE ANY DEBRIS FROM SENSORS, BUT PROBLEM PERSISTED. HAPPENED AGAIN TODAY, 5/2, AT 45 MPH ON PUBLIC HIGHWAY. CRUISE CONTROL WAS NOT ENGAGED WHEN THESE INSTANCES OCCURRED. TERRIFYING! I HAD TO FIGHT THE WHEEL TO KEEP CONTROL.
WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION(VARIOUS SPEED, 1 TIME AT HIGHWAY, 2 TIMES LOCAL STREETS), THE FASTEN SEATBELT LIGHT AND AUDIBLE WARNING CAME ON. ALSO, AT THE SAME TIME, THE SEATBELT TENSIONS (PULLS). THE DRIVER SEATBELT WAS FASTENED THE WHOLE TIME WHILE THIS WAS HAPPENING. *TR
FEED LINE TO HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP LEAKING TO ENGINE COMPARTMENT CAUSING ODOR WHEN STARTING IN COLD WEATHER (VEHICLE STATIONARY). HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR A LONG TIME BUT SIMPLY DID NOT CONNECT THE DOTS.
BOUGHT CAR 3 DAYS AGO AND BRAKES SQUEAL UPON BACKING OUT OF GARAGE AND SOMETIMES APPLYING WHEN STOPPING! SPECIFICALLY ASKED SALESMAN IF MERCEDES HAD PROBLEMS WITH BRAKES MAKING NOISE AS WE WENT THROUGH THIS WITH A VW TOUREG AND WAS TOLD NO THEY DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM. CALLED SALESPERSON TODAY AND WAS INFORMED NOW THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS ISSUE AND ITS NORMAL AND SHOULD ONLY HAPPEN WHEN CAR HAS BEEN SITTING AND ITS COLD OR THEY GOT WET. TOLD IF IT GOES MORE TIMES THAN THAT BRING INTO SERVICE???? VERY DISAPPOINTED WE WERE BOLD FACTLY LIED TO AND NOW HAVE ANOTHER CAR THAT APPEARS TO HAVE BRAKE NOISE ISSUES.
2017 MERCEDES BENZ GLC 300. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO ENGINE MISFIRE, SPARK PLUGS AND CYLINDERS. THE CONSUMER STATED THE ENGINE HAS BEEN REBUILT TWICE BUT, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED.
WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, OR STILL, THE DRIVER'S SIDE COVER FOR THE SEATBELT/AIRBAG WILL NOT STAY ATTACHED. THIS IS LOCATED ON THE DRIVER'S SEAT AND IS VISIBLE WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING THE CAR. I AM NOT REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE COSMETIC ISSUE AS MUCH AS THE SAFETY ISSUE. WITH THE SIDE IMPACT AIRBAGS, THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. IF THE BAG DEPLOYS WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE FLOATING PART? WILL THE AIRBAG, OR SEATBELT EVEN DEPLOY, OR WORK AS IT SHOULD? THIS IS ALSO A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE YOU CAN BE INJURED BY THE HARD PLASTIC THAT IS HANGING THERE. THE PIECE CAN ALSO GET CAUGHT UNDER OUR FEET WHILE DRIVING AS IT DOES NOT STAY IN PLACE. I REPORTED THIS THE 3RD DAY AND HAD IT REPAIRED 3 OTHER TIMES. I HAVE HAD MY CAR AND IT HAS BEEN IN PLACE ONLY 5 DAYS IN 2 YEARS, 2 MONTHS AND 30 DAYS. THE NEW LOANER THEY GAVE ME HAD THE SAME ISSUE AND THE PORTERS REPORT THEY NEVER STAY ON. THE CAR WAS IN FOR SERVICE FOR THIS ISSUE 4 TIMES IN THE FIRST 20 MONTHS I OWNED IT. IT COULD HAVE BEEN WEEKLY IF I WOULD HAVE NOT JUST LIVED WITH IT IN BETWEEN SERVICES THAT WERE NEEDED AND TAKEN IT IN AGAIN FOR SERVICE AND THE ISSUE.
VEHICLE SHUT OFF ON BUSY HIGHWAY. ENGINE SHUT OFF. ELECTRICAL/ COMPUTER SYSTEM MALFUNCITONED. VEHICLE WOULD NOT START BACK UP AGAIN
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC300. WHILE PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY, THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE. THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO A MANUFACTURER DEFECT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CONTACTED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TOWED. AN UNKNOWN DEALER LOCATION WAS CONTACTED, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,000.
THE THREE LEVERS LEFT OF THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLLING WIPERS (BOTH FRONT AND REAR) ADJUSTMENT OF THE STEERING WHEEL, AND CRUISE CONTROLS DO NOT ILLUMINATE IN THE DARK/EVENING. AS A RESULT, THE DRIVER IS DISTRACTED FROM VIEWING THE ROAD AHEAD IN AN ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY THE NEEDED ACTIONS FOR OPERATION. THE DEALERSHIP STATES THAT MY VEHICLE IS MADE THIS WAY.
EXPLODING PANORAMIC SUNROOF: WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 40MPH ON ROUTE 35SOUTH (MIDDLETOWN, NJ) IN 30 DEGREE WEATHER AT 7:30PM ON 5FEB2018 THE FORWARD PANEL OF THE PANORAMIC SUNROOF EXPLODED. THERE WERE NO OTHER CARS AROUND ME. IT WAS A LOUD POP EXPLOSION. THE SAFETY GLASS LOOKS PUSHED OUT AND GLASS STARTED TO FLY BEHIND THE CAR ONTO THE ROAD. I PULLED ONTO THE SHOULDER AND I CONTACTED MERCEDES HELP LINE FOR ASSISTANCE. THEY TOLD ME TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE NEAREST DEALER (MY LOCAL DEALER CONTEMPORARY MOTORS IN LITTLE SILVER, NJ). I DID A NIGHT DROP BOX DROP OFF. MERCEDES IS NOW ACCESSING THE ROOF.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC300. WHILE DRIVING BELOW 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE VEERED TO THE LEFT AND CRASHED INTO A TREE. THE CONTACT DID NOT NOTICE IF THERE WERE ANY WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED BEFORE OR AFTER THE CRASH. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE CONTACT WAS INJURED AND REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED TOTALED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY; THEREFORE, THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THERE WERE NO RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS LESS THAN 1,000.
WINDSHIELD WIPERS STUTTER ON WINDSHIELD AND MALFUNCTION. THIS JITTERING ACROSS THE WINDSHIELD IMPAIRS VISIBILITY. WINDSHIELD IS NOT KEPT CLEAR, EVEN WITH NEW BLADES. WINDSHIELD CLEANERS ALSO PLUG UP CONTINUALLY MAKING WASHING THE WINDSHIELD WHILE DRIVING IN AREAS WHICH CREATE VISIBILITY PROBLEMS DUE TO DUST, BUGS, ETC....IMPOSSIBLE -- EVEN IF CLEANER FLUID TANK IS FULL. THE ENTIRE SYSTEM IS AN ISSUE. MERCEDES KNOWS THIS IS A PROBLEM. THE SUV HAS BEEN IN FOR REPAIR 4 TIMES SINCE PURCHASING LAST OCTOBER. THEY HAVE REPLACED IT EACH TIME, SAY THEY KNOW THERE IS A PROBLEM, AND SAY THEY WILL NOT REPLACE IT AGAIN. THEY SAY THAT NON-MERCEDES WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID IS A PROBLEM (BUT THE FIRST 3 TIMES, THE FLUID WAS ORIGINAL MERCEDES FLUID). THEY SAY PUTTING THE VEHICLE IN A CAR WASH IS PROHIBITED -- A RIDICULOUS COMMENT. WHO DOESN'T PUT THEIR SUV IN A CAR WASH? THE MECHANISM IS FAULTY AND MERCEDES WON'T TAKE RESPONSABILITY AND IT IS A SAFETY PROBLEM.
TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V627000 (AIR BAGS) EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE REPAIR. THE CONTACT RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTIFICATION IN OCTOBER OF 2017. THE DEALER (EURO MOTORCARS BETHESDA, 7020 ARLINGTON RD, BETHESDA, MD, 20814, 301-986-880) STATED THAT THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE FOR THE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE FOR THE REPAIR. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
REAR BRAKING SYSTEM. WHEN BACKING UP OR APPLYING PRESSURE TO THE BRAKES, THE VEHICLE IS SCREAMING A LOUD NOISE. TAKEN BY DEALERSHIP AT 7000 MILES 01/04/18 DEALERSHIP STATES THEY CAN'T FIX IT UNTIL THEY RECEIVE PARTS ,WITH THE TAKATA RECALL AND A FAULTY BRAKING SYSTEM, THIS IS A HIGHWAY SAFETY ISSUE.

WHILE DRIVING ON THE I-75 NORTH, THE SUNROOF EXPLODED AS INDICATED IN THE PICTURE ATTACHED. IT IS STILL UNCLEAR IF THE SUNROOF SHATTERING WAS FROM A STRAY ROCK ON THE HIGHWAY, OR IF THE SUNROOF EXPLODED ON ITS OWN, HOWEVER MY CONCERN IS HOW THE SUNROOF SHATTERED AND THE QUALITY OF THE MATERIAL/GLASS USED. WHAT TYPE OF GLASS IS USED IN THIS VEHICLE FOR IT TO SHATTER AS IT DID? IS THIS PERHAPS A SIGN OF CHEAPER MATERIAL BEING USED ON THE SUNROOF. THERE ARE MORE PICS THAN CAN SHOW MORE OF THE DAMAGE.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE I-5 INTO DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO WE HEARD A LOUD BAM, A MOMENT LATER HEARD CRACKING THEN SHATTERED GLASS FROM MY SUNROOF FELL INTO THE CAR. THERE WAS NO ONE DIRECTLY AROUND US.
VEHICLE KEY-LESS ENTRY LOCKED OUT THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER WITH KEYS INSIDE THE VEHICLE WHILE PARKED. TALKED TO OTHER MERCEDES GLC300 OWNERS AND THEY ARE EXPERIENCING SAME ISSUE. THIS HAPPENED LATE AT NIGHT WITH MY WIFE AND 7 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN A HIGH CRIME AREA WHILE I WAS OUT OF TOWN. MERCEDES ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE CHARGED US $99.95 TO UNLOCK VEHICLE. THIS IS A LIFE THREATENING DEFECT AND SHOULD BE ACKNOWLEDGED AND ADDRESSED BY MERCEDES IMMEDIATELY.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE AND A TECHNICIAN WAS SENT TO MERCEDES-BENZ OF ROCKVILLE CENTRE, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ADHESIVE WAS PLACED ON THE DOOR. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE UNAVAILABLE.
