INTERMITTENT AIRBAG LIGHT WOULD COME ON. WHEN I TOOK TO DEALERSHIP, IT WAS ALWAYS OUT, AND INSTEAD OF PAYING EXTRAVAGANT DIAGNOSTIC FEES THEY SAID MAY NOT SHOW PROBLEM, I DID NOT GET IT LOOKED AT. IT WAS REPAIRED TODAY....A HARNESS ELECTRICAL SHORTAGE WHICH I FEEL SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED TO THE CUSTOMER. THE SHORT IS FOR SOMETHING THAT ONLY A CERTIFIED TECH REPAIRS. AIRBAGS HARNESSES ON THIS VEHICLE PER THE REPAIR TECH GO OUT REGULARLY, WHICH SOUNDS LIKE A DEFECT TO ME. THE REPAIR PASSED ON TO ME WAS MORE THAN $300! ALSO, IAC ATTACHED WITH TOO LITTLE SILICONE, WHICH CAUSES THE IAC TO BURN AND MALFUNCTION. IT WAS ALSO REPAIRED. I DO NOT HAVE PARTS.....DEALERSHIP KEPT THEM. *NM
THE CAR WOULDN'T START SO I HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE TECHNICIAN TRIED IT AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP FOR HIM. THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. I'M NOT SURE IF I HAVE IT RIGHT BUT I WAS TOLD THE REASON IT DIDN'T START WAS I HAD THE WRONG TYPE OF FUEL, WINTER VERSES SUMMER. THE TEMPERATURE DROPPED AFTER THUNDER STORMS DURING THE NIGHT. THERE'S BEEN QUITE A FEW TIMES WHEN THE CAR DIDN'T START UP ON THE FIRST TURN OF THE KEY BUT I DIDN'T THINK ANYTHING OF IT. THERE WAS ANOTHER TIME WHEN IT DIDN'T WANT TO START BUT EVENTUALLY DID. IT WAS A RAINY, SNOWY NIGHT. THIS LAST TIME WHEN IT DIDN'T START IT HAD RAINED ALSO. I'M WONDERING IF IT HAS MORE TO DO WITH THE RAIN AND NOT THE FUEL.*AK
