DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WATER LEAKED INTO THE FRONT RIGHT SIDE OF THE VENTILATION SYSTEM, ONTO THE FLOOR, AS THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN AT 45 MPH, WHILE IT WAS RAINING. THE SERVICE DEALER HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, BUT THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED.*AK
ON A 2003 MERCURY SABLE THE BLOWER MOTOR QUIT WORKING. FOR SEVERAL MONTHS PRIOR TO THE FAILURE, WATER COULD BE HEARD SLOSHING AROUND UNDER THE DASHBOARD AND THE CARPETING BECAME WET. THE FAN MOTOR AND RESISTOR HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE OF WATER DAMAGE. THE MECHANIC WHO REPAIRED IT TOLD ME THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AND THAT FORD IS AWARE OF IT. THE FAN MOTOR LITERALLY SITS IN A PUDDLE OF WATER. FORTUNATELY THERE WAS NO SPARKING WHICH COULD HAVE LED TO A FIRE. IT COST OVER $300 TO REPAIR. FORD MOTOR CO. IS AWARE OF THIS DESIGN DEFECT AND SHOULD PAY FOR THE REPAIRS.*JB
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE STALLED WHILE TRAVELING AT 5 MPH CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY RESTARTS AFTER A FEW MINUTES, OTHER TIMES IF MAY BE UP TO AN HOUR. IT WAS TOWED ONCE BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT RESTART. THIS OCCURS MORE OFTEN WHEN IT'S RAINING. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP FIVE TIMES. ON ONE OCCASION THE FUEL PUMP AND FUEL INJECTION SENSOR WERE REPLACED. ON EVERY OTHER OCCASION THE DEALERSHIP COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *AK
ABS ACTIVATED AFTER GOING OVER SEVERAL "BUMPS" IN A SERIES AND BRAKES APPLIED LIGHTLY. LIGHTLY BEING AS WHEN SLOWING DOWN IN TRAFFIC FOR A TRAFFIC LIGHT AND STOPPING. ABS LIGHT DID NOT COME ON. HOWEVER, ABS LIGHT HAS SUBSEQUENTLY COME ON. ABS LIGHT DOES NOT NECESSARILY COME ON AGAIN THE NEXT TIME THE VEHICLE IS STARTED. ALSO THE BRAKES CAN APPEAR TO BE FINE UNTIL THE NEXT SERIES OF "BUMPS" IS ENCOUNTERED WHEN DRIVING. *NM
WATER COLLECTED IN THE HEATER BLOWER MOTOR CAUSING IT NEED REPALCEMENT. I HAVE HEARD THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW. *NM
DT: CONTACT STATED THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WOULD LIGHT UP AND THE RADIO WOULD GO OUT, AND THE VEHICLE WOULD SHUT OFF. SHE PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND WAS ABLE TO RESTART IT. SHE CONTACTED THE MECHANIC, WHO REPLACED THE TWO SENSORS ON THE VEHICLE. *AK THE MECHANIC STATED THE VEHICLE THINKS IT IS BEING STOLEN. THE VEHICLE IS STILL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 MERCURY SABLE. THE FAN MOTOR CHIRPED WHEN THE FAN WAS ACTIVATED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FAN MOTOR WAS LEAKING WATER AND THEY MADE THE REPAIR. HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE AIR CONDITIONER MALFUNCTIONED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE A/C BLOWER MOTOR WAS RUSTED DUE TO WATER LEAKAGE. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 03V087000 (VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
NO EVENTS LEADING UP TO INCIDENT. WHENEVER IT RAINS, WATER LEAKS ONTO THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FLOORBOARD. WATER ALSO LEAKS ONTO BLOWER MOTOR AND RESISTOR CAUSING FAILURE. CAUSED BY A MANUFACTURER DESIGN FLAW IN A PLASTIC COWLING IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT. *NM
DT THE CONSUMER HAD DIFFICULTY STOPPING THE VEHICLE. WHEN THE CONSUMER ATTPEMTED TO STOP, THE ENGINE STARTED TO RACE. *JB DEALER REPLACED IAC VALVE ASSEMBLY. *TT
ON JUNE 11, MY MOTHER WAS INVOLVED IN A FENDER BENDER IN TRAFFIC. WHEN SHE PULLED OUT OF TRAFFIC INTO A SHOPPING PLAZA SHE INADVERTENTLY ACCELERATED INSTEAD OF BRAKING. HER 2003 MERCURY SABLE WAGON SPUN AROUND AND CRASHED FIRST INTO A HUGE CEMENT LAMPOST, THEN PROCEEDED TO RUN OVER TWO SHRUBS AND A TREE WHERE THE CAR FINALLY STOPPED. THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED BUT THE DRIVER'S SIDE DID NOT, EVEN THOUGH THE ENTIRE FRONT END WAS TOTALLY DEMOLISHED. ALTHOUGH MY MOTHER WAS WEARING A SEAT BELT, THE LACK OF THE AIR BAG GOING OFF RESULTED IN MY MOTHER SNAPPING FORWARD RESULTING IN A SPINAL CORD INJURY TO THE NECK AND PARALYSIS FROM THE CHEST DOWN- A C6 INJURY. SINCE THE CAR WAS ONLY TWO YEARS OLD, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE THAT THE AIR BAG DIDN'T DEPLOY. THERE MUST BE SOME DEFECT WITH THAT MODEL AND I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT NO ONE ELSE SUFFERS AND ENDS UP PARALYZED. THE AUTO BODY SHOP STATED THAT THEY'D SEEN OTHER FORD CARS IN TOTAL COLLISIONS THAT ALSO DIDN'T HAVE THE DRIVERS SIDE AIR BAG GO OFF. HE THOUGHT IT MIGHT HAVE TO DO WITH THE SENSORS. EITHER WAY, THE PRODUCT ISN'T WORKING. *JB
2003 MERCURY SABLE BLOWER MOTOR INOPERABLE. OCCURRED IN JANUARY AS AN INTERMITTENT ISSUE. MOTOR FAILED COMPLETELY IN MAR 2005. TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN ISSUED EFFECTIVE 7/16/2004 STATES: 2001-2004 TAURUS/SABLE: WATER IN BLOWER CASE-BLOWER MOTOR/RESISTOR FAILURE-VEHICLES BUILT BETWEEN 5/1/2003 TO 12/15/2003. SOME VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT WATER IN BLOWER CASE, RESULTING IN LEAKAGE TO INTERIOR PASSENGER FLOOR. INSPECT AND SEAL COWL AREA AND INSTALL RAIN-HAT. INSPECT AND REPLACE BLOWER MOTOR. THE BLOWER MOTOR WAS REPLACED AS WAS THE RESISTOR. THE COWL LEAK IS NOT ON RECALL EVEN THOUGH IT CAUSES SIGNIFICANT WATER DAMGE TO ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS AND INTERIOR PASSENGER SPACE. THIS IS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT AND SHOULD NOT BE THE BURDEN OF THE CONSUMER.
CONTACT STATES: WHILE DRIVING WITH PASSENGERS, CHILD SAFETY SEAT WITH PASSENGER IN TOW PULLED THE SEATBELT ACROSS HERSELF. THIS BECAME ENTANGLED AROUND THE PASSENGERS NECK CAUSING GREAT DISCOMFORT. CONCERNED OCCUPENTS TRY TO FREE AND DISENGAGE SEAT BELT ATTACHMENT WITH EVERY EFFORT THE SEAT BELT BECOMES TIGHTER AND SLACK IS DISAPPEARING CHOKING THE CHILD. FORTUNATELY THE CHILD WAS FREED WITH THE HELP OF A POCKET KNIFE, CHILD HAD TO BE CUT OUT OF THE RESTRAINT. CHILD SUBSTAINED DEEP TISSUE BRUISING AS DIAGNOSED BY DOCTOR. THE DEALER REPAIRED THE SEAT BELT.
WHEN STOPPING ON AN INCLINE FOR A LIGHT OR SIGN WITH FOOT ON BRAKES VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS WHEN FOOT WAS TAKEN OFF THE BRAKES TO ACCELERATE. WOULD EITHER DEPRESS THE BRAKES AGAIN OR ACCELERATOR PEDAL TO KEEP VEHICLE FROM HITTING ANOTHER VEHICLE BEHIND. HAD TAKEN VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIPS BUT MECHANIC DID NOT NOTICE OR FIND ANYTHING WRONG. THIS PROBLEM HAPPENED AT LEAST 6 TIMES BEFORE.*AK
2003 MERCURY SABLE STATION WAGON RAN OFF THE ROAD INTO A STONE LINED DITCH. THE PASSENGER AIR BAG DEPLOYED BUT THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT.*MR..... ON APRIL1, 2005 WHILE DRIVING WITHIN THE SPEED LIMIT VEHICLE RAN OFF THE ROAD INTO A ROCK LINED DITCH. UPON IMPACT, DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG FAILED TO INFLATE. DRIVER SUSTAINED CHEST PAINS AND NUMEROUS BURNS. DRIVER WAS IN PAIN FOR ABOUT 4 WEEKS. *AK
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 MERCURY SABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS LEAKING WATER THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE WATER LEAKING THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD WAS LEAKING AND STAYING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOORBOARD. THE LEAKING CAUSED THE BLOWER MOTOR IN THE COOLING SYSTEM TO FAIL. HE ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS A RELATED RECALL; HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY BEING REPAIRED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
WHILE DRIVING AT 45 MPH THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS STRUCK BY ANOTHER VEHICLE, AND THE PASSENGER AIR BAG DEPLOYED, HOWEVER, THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. *AK *SC THE VEHICLE WAS SENT 10-15 FEET INTO A DITCH. THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER STATED THAT THE ENGINE HAD BROKEN OFF ALL OF IT'S MOUNTINGS AND SHIFTED 3 INCHES. *SC *JB
WHILE TURNING RIGHT INTO A PARKING SPACE WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE THE VEHICLE SUDDENNLY ACCELERATED, JUMPED A CONCRETE WHEEL BARRIER AND SCRAPED A POST. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER THE NEXT DAY. THE COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM.*AK
WHILE DRIVING IN HIGH SPEEDS CONSUMER HEARD A LOUD CLANKING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT. CONSUMER APPLIED THE BRAKES, AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP COMPLETELY. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. *AK THERE WAS A GAS SMELL INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE, A STEERING VIBRATION AND THE OIL PAN GASKET WAS REPLACED. *JB
WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED UNCONTROLLABLY. THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND PULLED OVER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE MECHANIC CAN NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AT THIS TIME. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS. *NM
2003 MERCURY SABLE HAS PROBLEMS WITH HEATER FAN EQUIPMENT.*MR THE DEALER TOLD THE CONSUMER WATER LEAKED INTO THE BLOWER MOTOR AND DESTROYED IT. WATER ALSO LEAKED INTO THE COMPARTMENT CABIN FILTER. A NEWLY DESIGNED COWL PIECE WAS INSTALLED THAT WOULD PREVENT WATER FROM LEAKING INTO THE FAN. *JB
I OWN A 2003 MERCURY SABLE PLATINUM EDITION. I HAVE EXPERIENCED FOUR FLAT TIRES IN THE LAST YEAR WITH THIS VEHICLE (2/2005 TO 2/2006). THE FIRST THREE I HAD REPAIRED AT A LOCAL TIRE STORE, AS I WAS NOT AWARE THAT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE VEHICLE'S ALUMINUM WHEELS. IN EACH CASE THE WHEELS CORRODED AROUND THE SEALING BEAD, OR THE VALVE STEM CAUSING AN AIR LEAK. THE CORROSION OCCURS ON THE INTERIOR OF THE WHEEL, HIDDEN FROM SIGHT. THE ONLY CLUE IS WHEN THE TIRES BEGIN TO LOSE PRESSURE. THE FIRST FLAT TIRE OCCURRED IN FEBRUARY OF 2005. THE SECOND AND THIRD HAPPENED IN MARCH AND APRIL OF 2005 RESPECTIVELY. FINALLY THE THREE WHEELS THAT HAD BEEN REPAIRED AND THE FOURTH BEGAN LEAKING, AND IN SEPTEMBER 2005 I HAD ALL FOUR OF THE WHEELS REPAIRED AT A LOCAL FORD DEALER. IN DECEMBER OF 2005 I BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE TIRE INFLATION PROBLEMS AGAIN, BUT THE DEALER REFUSED TO ADMIT THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM. CURRENTLY I AM FORCED TO CHECK MY TIRE PRESSURE DAILY, AND FILL THE TIRES EACH TWO TO THREE DAYS. THE LAST FLAT TIRE OCCURRED ON FEBRUARY 23, 2006, BUT I WAS ABLE TO GET THE TIRE FILLED BEFORE IT TOTALLY DEFLATED. PLEASE NOTE THIS VEHICLE (PLATINUM EDITION) COMES EQUIPPED WITH SPECIAL WHEELS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE NORMAL LS EDITION. I FEEL THAT THIS CONDITION IS HORRIBLY UNSAFE, AND AT THIS POINT I AM BEGINNING TO FEAR THAT THE VEHICLE WILL BECOME UNDRIVABLE.*JB
I FEEL THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE DUE TO THE TIME OF YEAR. THE VEHICLE DI NOT HAVE HEAT DUE TO A THE FAILURE OF THE HEATER FAN. THE VEHICLE IS ONLY A YEAR OLD AND THIS IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. I FEEL THAT SOMETHING LIKE THIS SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO DUE TO THE AGE OF THE CAR AND THE FACT THAT THIS COMPONENT SHOULD BE COVERED AT NO CHARGE.*AK
DT: THE CONTACT STATED HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE RIGHT SIDE REAR OF THE CAR BOTTOMING OUT WHEN HE HITTING A BUMP OR POTHOLE. THE RIGHT REAR TIRE RUBS THE FENDER WELL. TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOUR TIMES TO TRY TO HAVE THIS REPAIRED. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. NOW, THE CONTACT THINKS THAT THE VEHICLE MAY HAVE BEEN TAMPERED WITH BEFORE HE TOOK OWNERSHIP OF THE CAR. *AK
MY WIFE SWERVED TO AVOID HITTING ANOTHER VEHICLE ENCROACHING INTO HER LANE. SHE LOST CONTROL OF HER 2003 MERCURY SABLE AND SLAMMED HEAD-ON INTO THE CONCRETE CENTER DIVIDER OF THE WESTBOUND 60 FWY DIAMONDBAR CA. THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED, BUT THE DRIVERS SIDE BAG DID NOT. SHE SUFFERED A CONCUSSION, A FRACTURED MANDIBLE, AND A MOLAR TOOTH WAS BROKEN FROM THE JAW BONE WHICH THE MAXILLO-FACIAL SURGEON WAS UNABLE TO SAVE. THE CAR WAS A TOTAL LOSS.*AK
CONSUMER RECEIVED NHTSA RECALL 04V105000 CONCERNING AIR FILTER PAPER IN THESE VEHICLES CAN SMOLDER OR BURN. DEALERSHIP STILL DOES NOT HAVE THE PARTS AVAILABLE TO CONDUCT RECALL REPAIRS. *AK
CONSUMER WAS CONCERNED THAT BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR INTERMITTENTLY WHEN APPLIED. VEHICLE WAS TO DEALER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, AND DEALER WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE PROBLEM. AFTERWARDS VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH BECAUSE THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR WHILE COMING ONTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHOINFORMED THE CONSUMER THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE MASTER CYLINDER. *AK

NHTSA RECALL# 04V105000 SUBJECT:AIR FILTER PAPER/FIRE. THE CONSUMER CALLED THE DEALER TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE FREE REMEDY. THE DEALER ASSURED THE CONSUMER THAT THE PARTS WERE AVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON 3/23/2004 AND THE DEALER DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS. *JB *JB
NHTSA RECALL 04V105000 CONCERNING AIR FILTER PAPER/FIRE. CONSUMER MADE AN APPOINTMENT ON 3/22/2004 FOR RECALL REPAIRS. DEALER DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS, BUT TOLD CONSUMER WHEN THE APPOINTMENT WAS MADE THAT THE PARTS WERE AVAILABLE. ALSO, DEALER PERFORMED THE RECALL FOR THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH WHICH THE CONSUMER HAD NO INFORMATION ON THIS RECALL. DEALER DID NOT KNOW WHEN THE PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO REPAIR THE AIR FILTER PAPER.*AK
THE CONSUMER RECEIVED RECALL 04V105000 REGARDING AIR FILTER PAPER. THE DEALER CLAIMED THAT THE RECALL PART WAS REPLACED, BUT THE CONSUMER INSISTED THAT IT WASN'T REPLACED. THE CONSUMER FOUND THAT THE ORIGINAL AIR FILTER WAS STILL IN THE VEHICLE. *AK THE SERVICE DEALER FIXED THE AIR LEAK IN THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR AND REPLACED THE AIR FILTER. *SC *JB

WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH CONSUMER'S VEHICLE COLLIDED WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE HEAD ON, AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK *MR
SEAT BELT RETRACTOR HAS NOT WORKED FOR AT LEAST 18 MONTHS- PART ON ORDER FOR AT LEAST THIS TIME. *NM
THE OIL PAN GASKET HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE ON MY VEHICLE AND NOW IT IS LEAKING AGAIN. I SUSPECT THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? *LA
CONSUMER HAS PROBLEMS SEEING THROUGH WINDSHIELD WHEN THE SUN IS SHINING. THE REFLECTION IS SO BAD THAT IT DISTORTS VISION. WHEN LOOKING THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD, INSTEAD OF SEEING WHAT IS ON THE OUTSIDE, THE CONSUMER SEES THE REFLECTION OF THE DASHBOARD. THE REFLECTION IS VERY STRONG. *AK *TS *NLM
I HAVE A 2003 MERCURY SABLE WAGON VIN [XXX]. IT'S SUPPOSE TO HAVE AN 18 GALLON GAS TANK. I CAN NEVER GET MORE THAN 13 GALLONS IN AND THE GAUGE NEVER SHOWS FULL. THE DEALER HAD THE CAR 4 DAYS BUT DID NOTHING. I CAN TRAVEL 220-230 MILES BEFORE HAVING TO REFILL. I FILL UP WHEN THE LOW TANK LIGHT COMES ON. THEY SAY THEY ARE LOOKING INTO THE SITUATION. THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION AS ON THE OPEN ROAD A GAS STATION MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE LEAVING A DRIVER STRANDED IN UNSAFE AREAS. I BROUGHT THIS TO THEIR ATTENTION WITHIN SEVERAL WEEKS OF PURCHASE WHICH WAS 7/30/03 AND A NUMBER OF TIMES SINCE. I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2003 MERCURY SABLE LS AND PRIOR TO LEAVING THE DEALERSHIP IN PHILADELPHIA I NOTICED THE FRONT WINDSHIELD DID NOT HAVE THE FACTORY TINT GLASS WHICH WAS STATED ON THE WINDOW STICKER AND WINDSHIELD AS HAVING TINTED GLASS. I RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP AND SPOKE WITH THE SALES PERSON,SALES MANAGER & SERVICE MANAGER AND AFTER COMPARING OTHER SABLES OF 2003 IN THE LOT, ALL STATED IN THE FRONT WINDSHIELD AS HAVING THE TINT BUT SOME DID NOT APPEAR AS HAVING THE DARKER BAND RUNNING ACROSS THE TOP OF THE FRONT WINDSHIELD. NO ONE COULD ADDRESS THIS AS TO WHY SOME DID OR DID NOT OTHER THAN THEY WERE DIFFERENT SUPPLY VENDORS FORD USED THAT DAY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO A SENSOR THAT COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. 2003 MERCURY SABLE WITH 20,000 MILES ON IT. WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MPH, I STEPPED ON THE ACCELERATOR TO PASS A TRUCK, I HEARD A THUMP AND THEN THE ENGINE WENT TO IDLE AND WE LOST ALL POWER. WE PULLED OVER AND FOUND THAT THE ACCELERATOR CABLE HAD SNAPPED. I FOUND A SMALL PIECE OF PLASTIC ON THE FLOOR THAT CAME FROM THE MECHANISM. WE WERE STRANDED 100 MILES FROM THE NEAREST CITY ON A SUNDAY NIGHT. I SUBSEQUENTLY ASKED THE RENTAL CAR MANAGER IF HE HAD EVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE AND HE SAID THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO A TAURUS HE WAS DRIVING. THIS, AS I AM SURE YOU KNOW A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION - IF WE HAD BEEN ON A CROWDED INTERSTATE THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUS PROBLEMS. WE WERE LUCKY. IS THERE ANY RECORD OF THIS PROBLEM OCCURRING.
