IN OLDER CARS & PICKUPS IT STUCK UP WHERE YOU COULD FASTEN IT,IN MY WIFE'S CAR I CANNOT FASTEN IT, JUST CAN IN MY PICKUP. ALSO THE NEW DRIVING LIGHTS, ((ADD ONS)) WHEN PICKUPS COMES UP BEHIND YOU, NO WAY TO SEE, IT BLINDS YOU. REASON DEATH RATE HAS FALLEN,!!!! PEOPLE CAN'T AFFORD GAS TO DRIVE AS MUCH!!!!!!!!!! TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2003 MITSUBISHI LANCER. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH THAT DESTROYED THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THE FRONTAL DRIVER AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. THE FRONTAL PASSENGER AIR BAG DID. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS AVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A POLICE IMPOUND AND WAS NOT EXAMINED FOR THE CAUSE OF THE AIR BAG FAILURE. UPDATED 10/21/10. LJ THE CONSUMER CRASHED INTO A TELEPHONE POLE. UPDATED 10/26/10*JB
WAS IN A 45 MPH REAR END COLLISION. AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, BACK SEAT PASSENGER SEAT BELT AND TETHER CLIP FAILED. SONS CAR SEAT HIT THE BACK OF PASSENGER SEAT, LUCKILY I HAD ALREADY DROPPED IN OFF AT DAY CARE.*AK
WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A REAR END COLLISION, UPON IMPACT, FRONT AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO DEALERSHIP. *AK
DURING A 30 MPH FRONTAL COLLISION FRONT AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. THE TWO OCCUPANT SUFFERED FROM CHEST, BACK AND SHOULDER INJURIES. *NM
DRIVER OF 2003 LANCER WAS THROWN FROM VEHICLE DUE TO FAILURE OF SEAT BELT TO RESTRAIN, CAUSING TWO SEVERE SKULL FRACURES AND BRAIN, EAR, NOSE, THROAT TRAUMA.*AK
I AM A CHEMICALLY SENSITIVE INDIVIDUAL HAVING BEEN POISENED 9 YEARS AGO. I DID NOT RECOGINIZE THE HAZARDS BECAUSE THE DEALERSHIP COMPLIED WITH MY REQUEST TO NOT DETAIL CAR WITH CHEMICALS, BUT THE OFF GASSING OF THE PLASTICS, VINYLS, CARPETS, MATERIALS AND ? (I DO NOT KNOW IF I HAVE OVER LOOKED SOMETHING ELSE) HAS CAUSED MUSCLE PAIN, HEADACHES, NAUSEA, FATIGUE, PASSING OUT AT THE WHEEL, WEAKNESS IN MY LIMBS, INTERNAL CRAMPING AND ECZEMA ON MY HANDS. THE SEAT IS TOTALLY INCORRECTLY DESIGNED FOR SHORTER PEOPLE AND THE ADJUSTMENT IN THE SEAT DOES NOT WORK TO COMPENSATE CAUSING EXTREMELY LOWER TO MID BACK PAIN SO SEVERE IT CAUSES DIFFICULTY IN WALKING, SITTING AND NAUSEA. THE DEALERSHIP AND THE MANUFACTURER ARE NOT WILLING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE INADEQUATE, UNSAFE CONDITION OF THE PRODUCT.
