THE TC-SST IN THE RALLIART SHOWED SIGNS OF SLIPPAGE AND MISSING GEARS. AT ONE POINT DURING OPERATION THE TRANSMISSION HAS GEARS COMPLETELY MISSING LEADING TO ROAD SAFETY ISSUES. MITSUBISHI MOTORS SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE AND THEY WOULD NOT TOUCH THE TRANSMISSION.
THE ACD / AYC PUMP FAILED. CAN BE DANGEROUS TO LOSE AWD SYSTEM. NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. *TR
ON-DASH WARNING LIGHT OF "4WD SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED" CAME ON. THIS WARNING IS INDICATIVE OF A ACTIVE CENTER DIFFERENTIAL (ACD) PUMP FAILURE, GENERALLY DUE TO CORROSION FROM TREATED WINTER ROAD SURFACES AND/OR THE INABILITY TO HANDLE COLD-WEATHER CLIMATES. CAR WAS PREVIOUSLY SERVICED UNDER A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN (TSB) TO DELAY ACTIVATION OF THE ACD PUMP FOR THIS EXACT REASON 2 YEARS PRIOR TO FAILURE. MITSUBISHI HAS YET TO CORRECT THIS MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND IS CURRENTLY REFUSING TO HONOR WARRANTY SERVICE OF FAILED PUMPS UNDER THEIR 5-YEAR / 36,000-MILE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY, STATING THAT THE PUMP IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THE VEHICLE TO OPERATE SAFELY AND PROPERLY. IN CONTRAST, A WORKING ACD PUMP DIRECTLY EFFECTS THE VEHICLE'S HANDLING, TRACTION & STEERING - AND ALL 3 DRIVING PARAMETERS IMMEDIATELY BEHAVE DIFFERENTLY WHEN THE PUMP SHUTS DOWN IN SELF-PROTECTION MODE OR HAS FAILED COMPLETELY. THIS VEHICLE HAS A DRIVER-SELECTED SETTING FOR TARMAC (PAVEMENT), GRAVEL/RAIN & SNOW CONDITIONS - THESE SETTINGS ARE COMPLETELY DISABLED WHEN THE ACD PUMP HAS FAILED, OR IS FAILING (ON-DASH WARNING WITH PUMP IN SELF-PROTECTION MODE). THIS ISSUE EFFECTS SEVERAL MODELS (LANCER, LANCER EVOLUTION, RALLIART, ETC.) FROM MODEL YEAR 2008 TO 2014, AND HUNDREDS OF INSTANCES OF THIS ISSUE HAVE BEEN DOCUMENTED IN ONLINE FORUMS (AND PROBABLY SEVERAL-FOLD THAT AMOUNT THAT HAVEN'T BEEN DISCUSSED ONLINE). STARTED UP ONE DAY AND WENT TO DRIVE IT AND THE ALL WHEEL DRIVE PUMP HAD FAILED, CAUSED A SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN THE HANDLING OF THE VEHICLE. *TR
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE IN WARMER WEATHER, A WARNING (4WD SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED) IS DISPLAYED ON THE DASH AND THE S-AWC AWD SYSTEM IS DISABLED. THE ACTIVE CENTER DIFFERENTIAL AND TORQUE BIASING REAR DIFFERENTIAL ARE DISABLED, WHICH GREATLY REDUCES HANDLING AND CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO REACT DIFFERENTLY THAN NORMAL IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. THIS IS THE RESULT OF A FAILING ACD/AYC HYDRAULIC PUMP. MITSUBISHI WILL NOT COVER THESE PUMPS UNDER THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY, EVEN THOUGH IT IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM. THE PUMPS CORRODE INTERNALLY AND ARE UNABLE TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN PRESSURE. *TR
2010 MITSUBISHI LANCER (RED) CLEAR COAT PROTECTION OVER PAINT BEGAN PEELING 3 YEARS AGO. SINCE, THE CLEAR COAT PROTECTION HAS SPREAD FROM HOOD TO ROOFTOP, AND AROUND WINDSHIELD. MANY DISCUSSION THREADS HAVE ADDITIONAL OWNERS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 MITSUBISHI LANCER EVOLUTION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V446000 (POWER TRAIN) HAD SURPASSED A REASONABLE TIME FOR REPAIR. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED FOR REPAIR BUT HAD NOT REPAIRED THE VEHICLE IN A TIMELY MATTER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER WAS UNWILLING TO GIVE A SPECIFIC TIME FRAME WHEN THE REPAIR WOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. THE MANUFACTURE WAS CONTACTED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
4WD SERVICE REQUIRED LIGHT APPEARED. LIGHTS STAYS ON FOR A FEW DAYS. WENT TO MITSUBISHI DEALER SERVICE AND AWC PUMP HAS FAILED. IM AT 50,000 MILES AND CAR IS 4 YEARS OLD, SO IM WITH IN THE 5YR/60K MILE DRIVETRAIN WARRANTY, AND WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER IT. IT IS OBVIOUSLY A DRIVETRAIN PROBLEM. LET ALONE IT HAS HAPPEND FREQUENTLY TO THESE CARS. *TR
THE S-AWC (SUPER ALL-WHEEL CONTROL) LIGHT CAME ON AND WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP THAT SAME DAY. MITSUBISHI FLASHED THE ECU AND THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. I RECENTLY NOTICED THE LIGHT BLINKING WHILE THE VEHICLE IS BEING OPERATED. I CONTACTED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND THEY INFORMED THE PART IS NOT COVERED BY DRIVE TRAIN WARRANTY AND MY VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED BECAUSE IT OLDER THAN 3 YEARS. THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW IN JANUARY 2010; THIS MAKES IT 3 YEARS 10 MONTHS OLD AT TIME OF INCIDENT WITH LESS THAN 36K ON THE ODOMETER. *TR
THERE WAS NO INCIDENT. I RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM MITSUBISHI FOR THE RECALL. THE PROBLEM IS/WAS MITSUBISHI DIDN'T MAKE EASY FOR THE CONSUMER TO HAVE THE RECALL ISSUE FIXED. MY DEALER (GLENDALE MITSUBISHI) SAID THEY DON'T DO RECALLS ON SATURDAYS. SO MYSELF AND FOUR OTHER CONSUMERS GOT TOLD THEY DON'T DO RECALLS ON SATURDAYS. IT WAS DONE THERE IS ALSO A RECALL ON THE TRANSMISSION, I DON'T REMEMBER FOR WHAT. I RECEIVED A LETTER SAYING NOTHING WOULD BE DONE UNLESS SOMETHING BROKE. *TR
"ALL WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED" MESSAGE CAM ON. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO CORTESE MITSUBISHI IN ROCHESTER NY WHERE I WAS TOLD THAT A SOFTWARE UPDATE WAS NEEDED WHICH WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANT. UPGRADE WAS PERFORMED AND I WAS INFORMED TO RETURN IF OTHER MESSAGES WERE DISPLAYED AS THE AWC PUMP MIGHT BE FAULTY WHICH WOULD BE FIXED UNDER WARRANTY. AT 40300M THE TARMAC DISPLAY STARTED FLASHING AND TRACTION CONTROL SETTING COULD NOT BE CHANGED FROM THE AWC SWITCH. RETURNED THE CAR TO CORTESE MITSUBISHI WHERE I WAS TOLD THAT THE AWC PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $2100. AND THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AS INITIALLY INFORMED BY THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE BECAUSE MITSUBISHI CONSIDERS THIS TO BE A "LUXURY" FEATURE. *TR

TURNING INTO A PARKING LOT AND I RECEIVED A "SERVICE AWD SYSTEM" MESSAGE. CAUSED BY THE ACD/AYC PUMP BEING FAULTY WHICH IS APPARENTLY A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THESE CARS AS CORROSION HAPPENS TO THE EXPOSED PUMP. OPTIONS INCLUDE A $2000-3000 REPLACEMENT OF THE PUMP OR REBUILD ONE AND HOPE IT DOESN'T HAPPEN (WHICH MIGHT SINCE IT IS EXPOSED) AGAIN. REALLY HOPE MITSUBISHI RECALLS THIS ITEM SINCE IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH ALL EVOLUTIONS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 MITSUBISHI LANCER. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ACTIVATED SHE DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL BUT THE BRAKES WOULD NOT RESPOND. THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A BODY REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,000. *TR
EVERY MITSUBISHI LANCER EVO X KEEPS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH OUR ACD/AYC PUMP FAILURE THAT WILL COST ME/OWNER A STAGGERING 2000 TO 3000 DOLLARS TO FIX. THIS IS CLEARLY SHOW HOW THE PART IS REALLY WEAK AND SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY TO FIX IT. PLEASE HELP US HAVE THE MITSUBISHI PAY FOR THIS CRAPPY PART INCLUDED ON AN EXPENSIVE CAR. "4WD SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED" WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO FIND THAT THE ACD PUMP HAVE FAILED. PAID $3,000 BECAUSE IT'S NOT A WARRANTY PART. WENT ONLINE TO FIND OUT THAT OTHER CUSTOMERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM GOING AS FAR BACK AS 2005. IT WAS A DESIGN ISSUE WITH THE ACD PUMP WHERE THE SEAL SHRINKS DURING WINTER ALLOWING DEBRIS TO ENTER THE ACD PUMP SYSTEM. DURING THE SUMMER, THE SEAL EXPAND TRAPPING THE DEBRIS WITHIN CAUSING REGULAR FAILURE OF THE PUMP EVERY 30,000 TO 40,000 MILES. CONSIDERING THEY'VE USED THE PUMP SINCE 2005, MITSUBISHI SHOULD KNOW FULL WELL THE ACD PUMP IS NO GOOD AND SHOULD'VE REDESIGNED IT A LONG TIME AGO. *TR
HAD AN AWD SERVICE WARNING LIGHT COME ON IN THE CAR WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK IN TRAFFIC. THE CAR CODED A C161E CODE FOR ACTIVE CENTER DIFFERENTIAL. IT SEEMS TO COME ON WHEN IT IS WARM OUT ABOVE 60 DEGREES. THE CODE IS FOR THE ACTIVE CENTER DIFFERENTIAL PUMP WHICH IS PART OF THE ALL WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM AND BASICALLY CONTROLS HOW THE CAR SPLITS THE POWER FROM THE FRONT AND REAR WHEELS THROUGH THE TRANSFER CASE. FOUND OUT WHEN I WENT TO THE MITSUBISHI DEALERSHIP THAT THIS IS ONLY COVERED UNDER THE BASIC 36000 MILE WARRANTY AND IS NOT CONSIDERED PART OF THE POWERTRAIN, EVEN THOUGH IT IS PART OF THE AWD SYSTEM. I WAS ALSO ADVISED IF IT IS THE PUMP, WHICH SEEMS TO BE WHAT HAPPENS WITH THESE CAR, IT WOULD BE $2500 TO FIX, BUT SINCE IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY I WOULD ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COSTS FOR ANY TROUBLESHOOTING AND ANY OTHER PARTS THAT WOULD NEED FIXED OR REPLACED AS WELL. WHILE RESEARCHING ONLINE, SINCE I DON'T HAVE +$2500 TO FIX THIS ISSUE I FIND THAT THIS IS APPARENTLY A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THESE CARS THAT MITSUBISHI REFUSES TO TAKE CARE OF. I HAVE THE CAR KEPT IN A GARAGE AT HOME AND ONLY SITS OUTSIDE WHILE I'M AT WORK AS WELL SINCE I READ THAT THE COLD WEATHER EFFECTS THESE PUMPS AS WELL. I WOULD THINK THIS WOULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE AND COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT SINCE THE AWD SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. *TR
BOUGHT MY VEHICLE AS A CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED VEHICLE WITH 37,213 MILES ON IT. AT 43,000 MILES, VEHICLE BEGAN HAVING MALFUNCTIONS WITH THE ALL WHEEL CONTROL SYSTEM AND ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL HYDRAULIC PUMP. THIS SHOULD BE AN ITEM COVERED UNDER THE 5 YEAR/60,000 MILE WARRANTY, HOWEVER, MITSUBISHI STATES THAT IT IS NOT COVERED, EVEN THOUGH IT IS PART OF THE POWER-TRAIN, AND REQUIRED TO WORK FOR VEHICLE STABILITY AND SAFETY. MITSUBISHI HAS CONTINUED TO REFUSE TO WARRANTY THE PUMP. THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED ISSUE, AND THERE HAVE BEEN DOZENS, MAYBE HUNDREDS OF OTHER CARS WITH THE EXACT SAME MALFUNCTION, MANY OF THESE WERE TURNED AWAY BY MITSUBISHI EVEN WHILE THEY WERE UNDER THE POWER-TRAIN WARRANTY. *TR
REQUESTED DEALER TO REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY A PROBLEM WHICH CAN CAUSE VEHICLE TO BECOME INOPERABLE AT TEMPERATURES OF 20 BELOW ZERO AS DOCUMENTED IN MITSUBISHI TSB-10-13-002. WAS ADVISED BY DEALER AND LATER BY MITSUBISHI CUSTOMER RELATIONS THAT THIS WOULD NOT BE COVERED BY WARRANTY SINCE THE PROBLEM HAS NOT OCCURRED ON THIS SPECIFIC VEHICLE. I RECOMMEND THAT THIS TSB BE CONSIDERED FOR A POSSIBLE RECALL IN THOSE PARTS OF THE COUNTRY WHERE THE TEMPERATURE REGULARLY GOES TO 20 BELOW ZERO. HAVING A DISABLED VEHICLE AT THAT TEMPERATURE IS A SAFETY ISSUE. *TR
FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED ON 12/6/10 WHEN THE CAR HAD 11,000 MILES ON IT. SOMETIMES WHEN PRESSING THE GAS PEDAL, THE ENGINE REVS UP BUT THE CAR DOESN'T MOVE. THIS PROBLEM HAS HAPPENED ABOUT 25 TIMES SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IN NOVEMBER 2009. THE VEHICLE ISSUE HAS BEEN REPORTED TO MITSUBISHI CORPORATE AND THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN IN TO DEALERSHIP SERVICE CENTERS SEVERAL TIMES. THE SERVICE CENTERS ADMIT TO KNOWING WHAT THE PROBLEM IS BUT WON'T FIX IT UNLESS THE CAR ACTS UP WHEN THEY TEST DRIVE IT. MITSUBISHI FINALLY AGREED TO TAKE MY CAR IN AND PROVIDE ME WITH A RENTAL ON 1/11/13 DO TO A RECENT ACCIDENT DUE TO THE CAR DEFECT BUT NO PROMISE TO FIX THE PROBLEM WAS MADE. DROVE OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND WITHIN 5 SECONDS ABS MALFUNCTION LIGHT CAME ON AS WELL AS STABILITY CONTROL. AFTER FURTHER INVESTIGATION I FOUND THAT THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR ABS SENSOR WAS FAULTY DUE TO THE SENSOR NOT BEING SEALED CORRECTLY BY THE MANUFACTURER WHICH LED TO CORROSION AND THE SENSOR FAILING. MITSUBISHI WOULD NOT WARRANTY THIS ITEM EVEN THOUGH ITS KNOWN TO BE FAULTY, MITSUBISHI EVEN HAS A NEW PART NUMBER FOR THE SENSOR. THIS SHOULD OBVIOUSLY BE A SAFETY RECALL. *TR
INDICATED POSSIBLE CLUTCH FAILURE/CLUTCH PEDAL STICKING ISSUES TO LOCAL DEALERSHIP. CLUTCH WENT OUT BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE. I WAS CHARGED $2700 OUT OF POCKET FOR A COMPONENT THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED UNDER MY WARRANTY. I WAS ISSUED A SAFETY RECALL JUST RECENTLY FOR FAULTY CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ISSUES FOR MITSUBISHI MOTORS. DURING MY ARBITRATION WITH THE DEALERSHIP BACK IN NOVEMBER 2012, THE DEALERSHIP HAD DEEMED THERE WAS NO MANUFACTURER DEFECT, WHEN IN FACT THERE WAS A COMPONENT THAT WAS AFFECTING THE PROPER ENGAGEMENT AND DISENGAGEMENT OF MY CLUTCH. I AM CURRENTLY EXERCISING ALL AVENUES IN SEEKING A REFUND FOR REPAIRS. WHEN I SPOKE WITH MITSUBISHI THEY TOLD ME THAT ITS IS NOT PART OF THE SAME ASSEMBLY WHEN INDEED IT IS; SHARING THE SAME FLUIDS AND LINES THIS COMPONENT WAS THE SOLE FAILURE POINT RESULTING IN MY POWER TRAIN DAMAGE. *TR
WHILE DRIVING HOME IN 100 DEGREE WEATHER WITH A 3/4 FULL GAS TANK THERE WAS SUDDENLY A STRONG FUEL SMELL COMING FROM THE FRONT AIR CONDITIONING VENTS. THE A/C SYSTEM WAS IN RECIRCULATE MODE. THE SMELL WAS SO STRONG THAT I STARTED TO GET DIZZY. I OPENED ALL THE WINDOWS AND PULLED OVER AT MY FIRST CHANCE TO LOOK FOR A LEAK. I DID NOT FIND ANY LEAKS IN THE ENGINE BAY OR UNDERNEATH THE CAR. I WAS ALMOST HOME SO I STARTED THE CAR TO PROCEEDED HOME. WHILE DRIVING I SMELLED THE GAS FUMES AGAIN, THIS TIME I TURN THE A/C SYSTEM TO FRESH AIR AND THE SMELL WENT AWAY. I THEN TURNED THE SYSTEM BETWEEN FRESH AND RECIRCULATE SEVERAL TIMES AND THE SMALL WAS ALWAYS ON THE RECIRCULATE SIDE. I BELIEVE THERE IS SOMETHING VENTING INTO THE CABIN OF THE CAR BUT I CAN NOT FIND IT. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUES AS SOMEONE COULD BECOME DIZZY OR FAINT FROM THE FUMES AND CRASH. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 MITSUBISHI LANCER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A SMELL OF FUEL EMITTED THROUGH THE VENTS AFTER DRIVING FOR APPROXIMATELY TWENTY MINUTES. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 MITSUBISHI LANCER. THE CONTACT WAS A PASSENGER IN THE VEHICLE AS THE DRIVER WAS TRAVELING 35 MPH. THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED TO ATTEMPT A TURN BUT DID NOT RESPOND AND THE DRIVER ENGAGED THE PARKING BRAKE. THE VEHICLE PROCEEDED TO CRASH INTO A GUARDRAIL ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY, DAMAGING THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE LEFT ARM, RIGHT LEG AND FOREHEAD. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE ARMS, LEGS AND NECK. EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL ARRIVED TO TREAT THE INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACTS HOME AND WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,000.
I BELIEVE THE OUTER TIE RODS ON 2008-2012 MITSUBISHI LANCER (ALL MODELS) ARE DEFECTIVE. I HAD THE PASS SIDE FAIL AT 20K MILES., WHICH WAS REPLACED BY DEALER. IT TOOK OVER A YEAR OF DIAGNOSIS, INCREASED NOISES, AND EVENTUAL UNSAFE HANDLING BEFORE THE SECOND ONE- DRIVERS SIDE WAS DIAGNOSED AND REPLACED, THIS TIME BY AN INDEPENDENT SHOP. I HAD TO PERSONALLY PAY TO HAVE THE SECOND ONE REPLACED BECAUSE THE DEALER WAS UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO REPRODUCE AND REPLACE AFTER NUMEROUS INQUIRIES. I HAVE VIDEO OF THE BALL JOINT UPON REMOVAL FROM THE IDLER ARM, AND THE JOINT IS ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED. SURPRISINGLY, IT DOES NOT EXHIBIT MUCH PLAY WHEN MOUNTED, AND THE BALL JOINT RUBBER LOOKS OK. IT WOULD BE VERY EASY FOR A CURSORY INSPECTION TO COME UP WITH NOTHING, EVEN WHEN THE JOINT IS DANGEROUSLY NEAR FAILING. NOT ONLY DO I BELIEVE THAT THE PART IS PRONE TO FAILURE, BUT I DON'T THINK IT IS SAFE EVEN WHEN NEW. I NOTICED THE VEHICLE HAD UNUSUAL STEERING SINCE I BOUGHT IT, THAT CAUSED IT TO DOG TRACK AND DRIFT IN AND OUT OF LANE. I TRIED A VARIETY OF WAYS TO IMPROVE, INCLUDING NEW TIRES, SOLD BY DEALER, PASSENGER SIDE TIE ROD REPLACED. NONE ADDRESSED THE STEERING ISSUES, UNTIL I REPLACED WITH AFTERMARKET MOOG OUTER TIE RODS AFTER FINDING THE DRIVERS SIDE TIE ROD DEFECTIVE. I HAVE ALSO INQUIRED WITH OTHER OWNERS, SINCE I AM A MEMBER OF A LANCER FORUM. MANY ALSO SEEM TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS. EITHER THEY HAVE HAD THEM REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY, OR THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO IDENTIFY. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT MANY OF THESE VEHICLES ARE ON THE ROAD TODAY WITH TIE RODS THAT ARE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. CONSIDERING THAT THE FAILURE OF THESE PARTS EVENTUALLY LEADS TO DRAMATIC UNDERSTEER, AND SLIDING OUT OF THE FRONT END, WHILE STABILITY CONTROL DOESN'T ENGAGE, THIS SITUATION COULD EASILY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. AFTER 4 TO 6 WEEKS, AGAIN THE NEW VISORS DRIFT DOWNWARD WHEN IN USE, OBSTRUCTING VISION. WHEN DRIVING TOWARD THE SUN, DRIVER MUST HAVE ONE HAND HOLDING THE VISOR IN POSITION AND OTHER HAND ON STEERING WHEEL - DANGEROUS TO SHIFT GEARS OR USE TURN SIGNALS. LOW TIRE PRESSURE COMES ON CONSTANTLY, FIRST THEY FOUND A WIRE ON THE RIGHT BACK TIER, I HAD A NEW TIER PUT ON, THEN SENSOR CAME BACK ON THEY FOUND THAT THE SENSOR WAS LEAKING FROM THE NEW TIRE HAD THAT FIX, WENT BACK 4 DAYS LATER THEY FOUND THE SENSOR LEAKING AGAIN. HAD THAT REPAIR. I HAVE PICTURES ON MY CELL PHONE WHEN SENSOR LIGHT TURNS ON. DATES 10-15-10, 10-18-10, 10-23-10,10-27-10, 10-28-10, 10-29-10, 11-05-10. I BOUGHT THE CAR IN OCTOBER 2009 PROBLEM STARTED IN APRIL 2010. THE MANAGER AT THE SHOP SAID THE SENSOR WILL PROBABLY NEED AIR AGAIN, HE DID NOT GIVE ME MUCH HOPE! *TR
