CONDITION IS PRESENT WHETHER VEHICLE STATIONARY OR MOVING. INVESTIGATED BY DEALER ( COURTESY NISSAN OF RICHARDSON, TEXAS) AND TOLD THAT FIRST STAGE REPAIR ( REPLACEMENT OF FRONT PASSENGER SEAT CUSHION) COSTS ~ $ 2100 WITH NO GUARANTEE OF SOLUTION, FOLLOWED BY FURTHER ATTEMPT TO SOLVE AT ADDITIONAL COST. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE TO BE SOLVED BY NISSAN. ALSO REPORTED TO NISSAN NORTH AMERICA BUT NO RESPONSE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 NISSAN MAXIMA. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR AN OIL CHANGE, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE REAR SWAY BAR HAD SNAPPED. THE CONTACT ALSO HEARD A CLICKING METAL SOUND WHILE DRIVING. THE DEALER (AUTONATION NISSAN LAS VEGAS, 5800 W SAHARA AVE, LAS VEGAS, NV 89146, (702) 570-1013) STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL AND THAT THERE WAS NO FAILURE WITH THE SWAY BARS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CALLED AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE MANUFACTURER CALLED BACK AND STATED THAT THEY COULD NOT ASSIST SINCE THERE WAS NO RECALL OR CURRENT WARRANTY. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT UNDER A WARRANTY, WHICH WAS NOT TRUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,300.
AIRBAG DEACTIVATION LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYS ON FOR THE PASSENGER SEAT EVEN WITH AN ADULT IN THE SEAT.
MY CAR KEEPS LOSING POWER AFTER DRIVING IT FOR AWHILE. I HAD A NEW ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY INSTALLED. IT CONTINUES TO LOSE POWER AND STARTS UP AFTER A FEW HOURS. THIS IS UNSAFE AND VERY SCARY.

THE CVT TRANSMISSION ON 09- 2014 NISSAN GO OUT AND TAKE YOU TO PRACTICALLY A DEAD STOP FROM 60MPH. THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY UNDOCUMENTED TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS THAT NISSIAN HIDES/ DENIES. DRIVIN WITH YOUR LIGHTS ON DIM YOU CAN'T HARDLY SEE THE ROAD. THE LIGHTING DOES NOT EXTEND FAR OUT IN FROM OF THE CAR. IT ONLY SHOW A FEW LIL FEET OUT IN FRONT OF THE CAR. I HAVE TRIED USIN OTHER BULB TYPE TO SEE IF IT WORKS BETTER. AND NO IT DOESN'T. SOMEONE SAID NISSAN TOLD THEM THE CARS AREN'T GROUNDED THAT GOOD. I DRIVE WITH MY ON BRIGHT TO SOMEONE BLINKS AND TELL ME TO DIM MY LIGHTS.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 NISSAN MAXIMA. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, A VEHICLE RAN A STOP SIGN AND CRASHED INTO THE FRONT DRIVER'S DOOR OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR THE AIR BAG FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 118,000.
WHEN LOOKING UP MY MAKE MODEL AND YEAR OF CAR, YOUR SITE SEEMS TO INDICATE A "SUSPENSION/STRUT INSULATOR CRACKING" PROBLEM, HOWEVER, WHEN I CONTACTED THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP, THEY SAY FOR MY VIN # THERE IS ONLY ONE RECALL AND IT IS FOR A "STEERING COLUMN" PROBLEM . I JUST WANT TO KNOW ALL THE FACTS BEFORE I TAKE IT IN FOR REPAIRS THIS THURSDAY, MARCH 29, 2018.
NISSAN HAS A RECALL ON CERTAIN 2009 NISSAN MAXIMAS ELECTRONIC STEERING LOCK ASSEMBLY. MY MAXIMA IS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. HOWEVER, IN JULY OF 2014 DURING ROUTINE SERVICE AT A NISSAN DEALERSHIP THE ELECTRONIC STEERING LOCK WAS REPLACED. A FEW DAYS AGO IT FAILED AGAIN, I HAD TO TOW IT TO THE SAME DEALERSHIP, I WAS INFORMED THAT NISSAN WILL NOT COVER ANY PART OF THE COST OF $797.19. MY CASE NUMBER WITH NISSAN USA IS 29509408. I'M ASKING FOR THE REPLACEMENT COST AND $40.00 FOR TOWING COST FOR A PART THAT WAS INVOLVED IN A RECALL AND HAD TO BE REPLACED TWICE.
CAR WOULD NOT START ON A BLISTERY COLD DAY. LUCKILY, IT HAPPENED INFRONT OF MY HOUSE, BUT I THEN HAD TO GET TOWED TO A GARAGE BECAUSE THE WINDOWS WENT DOWN WHEN I TRIED TO START THE CAR. STEERING WHEEL IS LOCKED. "KEY" LIGHT TURNS ON. ALL FUNCTIONS ON FOB STILL WORK AND THE CAR HAD A BRAND NEW BATTERY INSTALLED 3 MONTHS AGO. SEEMS TO BE THE STEERING LOCK MODULE WHICH HAS CAUSED THE CAR NOT TO START.

AIRBAG SENSOR BLINKING. SEEMS TO BE A RECURRING PROBLEM WITH 2009 NISSAN MAXIMA. READ OTHERS COMPLAIN OF SAME. DEALERSHIP SAYS IT WILL COST $1700 TO FIX THE PROBLEM. SINCE IT IS A RECURRING COMPLAINT IT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A RECALL ITEM.
MULTIPLE INSTANCES OF THE ESCL (ELECTRONIC STEERING COLUMN LOCK) FAILING. NISSAN IS OFFERING TO REPLACE FREE OF CHARGE FOR VEHICLES WITH CERTAIN VIN NUMBERS (NHTSA #10119190, NISSAN CAMPAIGN ID PC516). HOWEVER, NISSAN HAS STATED THAT MY VIN# IS NOT PART OF THE PROGRAM. NISSAN HAS ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE NHTSA SET THE PARAMETERS FOR THE VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN, AND THEY ARE UNABLE TO EXPLAIN WHY MY CAR IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF IT IS TRUE THE NHTSA SET THE VIN# PARAMETERS FOR THIS PROGRAM, AND IF SO WHY MY CAR, WHICH HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM MULTIPLE TIMES, IS NOT INCLUDED. IF IT IS NOT TRUE THAT THE NHTSA SET THE PARAMETERS, WHAT ARE THE POTENTIAL LIABILITIES NISSAN FACES IN BLAMING THE PROBLEM ON THE NHTSA. OCT 9, 2017, DROVE THE CAR FOR 15 MINUTES, TO DESTINATION. WHEN READY TO LEAVE, CAR WOULD NOT START, AFTER PUSHING STARTER BUTTON. CHANGE FOB KEY BATTERY AND STILL WOULD NOT START. STEERING WHEEL WAS LOCKED IN UPRIGHT POSITION. CAR TOWED TO DEALER. DEALER STATES THE STEERING COLUMN LOCK IS FAULTY. REPLACEMENT COST $1100+. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL ITEM, OBVIOUSLY, IT CAN HAPPEN AT ANY GIVEN TIME AND BE AN ENDANGERMENT TO STRANDED OCCUPANTS.

AIR BAG IS BLINKING. NISSAN DEALERSHIP CONFIRMED TO BE A B1022 CODE FOR OSC SENSOR FAILURE AND QUOTED $3,000 FOR REPLACEMENT OF ENTIRE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE CHILDREN I HAVE TO BRING TO SCHOOL DAILY. PLEASE ADD RECALL FOR NISSAN MAXIMA 2009 MODELS AS WELL. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN.
WHINING NOISE COMING FROM ENGINE COMPARTMENT AS SOON AS VEHICLE IS TURNED ON AND CONTINUES WHILE RUNNING. MANY FORUMS DESCRIBE THIS AS BAD SECONDARY TIMING CHAIN TENSIONERS DUE TO COMPLETE WEAR-OUT OF PLASTIC MATERIAL. MOTOR NEEDS TO BE PULLED TO REPLACE TENSIONERS. 19 HOURS LABOR AT DEALER PLUS PARTS PUTS THIS REPAIR AT $2500 PLUS. PHOTO ATTACHED SHOWS NEW PART AND OLD PART REPLACED BY A DEALER.

THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 147,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
RATTLING, CRACKING, VIBRATION AND ROAD NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT WHILE DRIVING ON THE ROAD AT ANY SPEED. NOISE WAS VERY NOTICEABLE IF ROAD WAS BUMPY. IN MY EMAILS WITH NISSAN THEY ONLY WOULD REFER ME TO A LOCAL DEALERSHIP, WHICH IS 1 HOUR AWAY. I FORWARD NISSAN DOCUMENTS FOUND ON THE INTERNET STATING THE THIS YEAR MODEL HAD STRUT AND SUSPENSION PROBLEMS. NISSAN COULD ONLY TELL ME TO SEE A LOCAL DEALER.

THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE HIGH PRESSURE POWER STEERING HOSE LEAKED POWER STEERING FLUID ONTO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND STARTED THE FIRE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 177,000.
MY 2009 NISSAN MAXIMA HAS A CRACKED AND MELTING DASHBOARD. THE RESULT OF THIS IS THAT THE SUNLIGHT CAUSES AN EXTREME GLARE ON THE WINDSHIELD THAT MAKES VISIBILITY ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE ON SUNNY DAYS. A BIKER OR PEDESTRIAN COULD BE CROSSING THE STREET IN FRONT OF ME AND I WOULD NOT KNOW IT DUE TO ONLY SEEING THE GLARE ON THE WINDSHIELD. I HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS ABOUT THIS AND THEY WERE NOTHING BUT RUDE THE ENTIRE TIME. THEY SAID THERE ARE NO KNOWN DEFECTS WITH IT AND THEY DON'T BELIEVE IT IS AN ISSUE. I TOLD THEM THAT I CANNOT SEE AND IT IS AN EXTREMELY BIG ISSUE AND THEY DISAGREE. I EVEN OFFERED TO PAY TOWARDS THE COST OF A NEW DASHBOARD AND THEY SAID THEY AREN'T GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THERE SEEMS TO BE NOTHING ELSE I CAN DO AT THIS POINT AND IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE AN ACCIDENT OCCURS DUE TO THE BLINDING REFLECTION FROM THE DASH.
PASSENGER OCCUPANCY SENSOR HAS FAILED. TO REPLACE YOU MUST REPLACE THE ENTIRE SEAT BOTTOM WHICH IS OVER $1500. THERE ARE MANY OTHER PEOPLE EXPERIENCING THE SAME ISSUE. SEEMS TO BE A DEFECT.
I OWN A 2009 NISSAN MAXIMA, NEVER HAD NAY PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR EXCEPT FOR ROUTINE WORK DONE. I CLOCKED OUT OF WORK AND WENT TO START MY CAR AND THE CAR DID NOT START. THE WHEEL AND BRAKES WERE LOCKED ON ME AND I COULD NOT TAKE THE VEHICLE OUT OF PARK TO SHIFT IT. MY KEY LIGHT APPEARED ON MY DASH AND I LOOKED IT UP IN MY MANUAL AND SAW IT WAS THE STEERING LOCK.. NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAD TO PAY TO TOW MY CAR FROM WORK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND IT COST ME 1113.00 TO FIX THE STEERING LOCK UNIT.. TO MY KNOWLEDGE I NEVER WAS NOTIFIED OR RECEIVED A LETTER TELLING ME ABOUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY ABPUT THE STEERING LOCK. I FEEL LIKE THE WARRANTY SHOULD BE FOREVER BECAUSE WHAT IF THIS STEERING LOCK UNIT I REPLACED GOES OUT ON ME AGAIN LEAVING ME STRANDED SOMEWHERE ELSE AND THEN I HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER 1113.00 TO FIX... WAY TO GO NISSAN!!!!!!!!
MY MAXIMA WON'T START OR DO ANYTHING. I TOWED THE CAR TO MOSSY NISSAN AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE STEERING LOCKING MECHANISM.
THE STEERING LOCK SYSTEM (AN ANTI-THEFT DEVICE) FAILED. IT LOCKED MY STEERING WHEEL AND DISABLED THE START BUTTON ON THE CAR. THE CAR WAS STATIONARY; I WAS STRANDED IN A PARKING LOT AWAY FROM HOME WITH A CAR THAT WOULD NOT START. NISSAN IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND HAD ISSUED A TSB, BUT NO RECALL. NOR WAS I NOTIFIED OF THE POTENTIAL PROBLEM AS AN OWNER.
2009 MAXIMA WITH 87,000 MILES WAS OPERATIONAL THROUGHOUT THE DAY; WE PARKED AT A BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT FOR LUNCH FEBRUARY 4, 2017 (WINTER; CLOUDY NO RAIN OR SNOW) OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE 45 F. WHEN RETURNING TO VEHICLE, CAR WOULD NOT START: STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND INTELLIKEY SYSTEM WOULD NOT FUNCTION; BLINKING DASH LIGHT INDICATED CAR WAS IN LOCK-DOWN MODE. HAD TO CALL TOW TRUCK - AFTER 75 MINUTES WAIT CAR WAS TOWED TO NISSAN DEALER FOR REPAIR (STILL WAITING). THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THE STEERING LOCK MECHANISM & IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY LOCKED UP IN THIS VERY SAME CAR (THAT TIME WAS OCTOBER 2012 WITH 46,000 MILES ON THE CAR). THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM SINCE THIS APPEARS TO HAPPEN AT RANDOM; LUCKILY NO ONE WAS HURT AND IT DIDN'T HAPPEN IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION OR VICIOUS WEATHER. PREVIOUS REPAIR WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, BUT I SUSPECT THIS REPAIR WILL BE QUITE COSTLY. THE CAR SHOULD NOT LOCK UP LIKE THIS FOR NO REASON. THE STEERING LOCK MECHANISMS APPEARS TO BE EITHER A FAULTY DESIGN OR HAVE PROBLEMS FUNCTIONING. PLEASE INVESTIGATE AND HAVE THIS PART RECALLED OR REPAIRED.
THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT CAME ON AND HAS STAYED ON, AND THE DEALER WILL NOT REPAIR FOR LESS THAN $2084., NISSAN NORTH AMERICA HAS REFUSED ASSISTANCE FOR THE REPAIR.
THE STEERING WHEEL LOCK LOCKS AND DOESN'T ALLOW YOU TO START YOUR VEHICLE. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AS I LIVE IN MINNESOTA AND HAD THE STERRRING LOCK TRIGGER WHICH LEFT ME STRANDED IN FRIDGED TEMPERATURES. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS IT HAPPEN WITH OUT NOTICE AND COULD CAUSE HARM OR DEATH BY NOT BEING ABLE TO START YOUR VEHICLE. THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE CAR IS PLACED IN PARK AND THE IGNITION IS DISENGAGED.
THE DASHBOARD HAS MELTED CAUSING SEVERE GLARE ON THE WINDSHIELD. THIS DEFECT MAKES IS VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE CARS AND PEDESTRIANS. THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED FOR OUR SON AND AT THIS POINT IT IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE WITHOUT A NEW DASHBOARD OR AS WE HAVE IT TODAY, COVERED WITH A TOWEL. WE HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN AT LEAST 3-5 TIMES HOWEVER THEY HAVE INDICATED THAT THERE ISN'T ANYTHING THEY CAN TO DO TO ASSIST. I DID TELL THEM THAT THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THEM TO ONLY COVER CARS IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND THEY SHOULD BE LOYAL TO ALL CUSTOMERS REGARDLESS OF THE STATE.
STOPPED AT CONVENIANCE STORE AND SHUT CAR OFF. TRIED TO RESTART CAR AND IT WON'T START. HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER SHIP WHERE I BOUGHT IT. FOUND THAT IT WAS THE STEERING LOCK THAT HAD FAILED. COST TO REPLACE WAS 1300 DOLLARS. FOUND OUT THIS IS A HIGH FAILURE PART AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED.
CAR WILL NOT START WITH THE ELECTRIC PUSH BUTTON. IT SEEMS TO BE THE ELECTRIC STEERING LOCK MECHANISM ACTUATOR. NISSAN WANTS TO CHARGE $1000 FOR THE PART AND $400 LABOR. IT TOOK US 15 MINS TO TAKE THE PART OUT OURSELVES AND UNPLUGGED IT AND PLUGGED IT BACK IN. IT DID WORK A FEW TIMES BUT NOW IT WONT WORK AGAIN. LOOKS LIKE I WILL HAVE TO BUY THE PART WHICH IS ON AMAZON FOR AROUND $400.00. THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM WITH THIS PART AND NISSAN SHOULD HONOR AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON IT! I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TWICE BEFORE FIGURING THIS OUT! NOT SURE WHY THEY HAVE CHARGE SO MUCH FOR SUCH A SIMPLE FIX. THE DEALER SHIP IS A RIP OFF...
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 NISSAN MAXIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A PROGRESSING FAILURE IN WHICH THE PUSH BUTTON START FAILED TO FUNCTION. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE IGNITION LOCK MECHANISM INTERNALLY MALFUNCTIONED, WHICH PREVENTED THE VEHICLE FROM STARTING ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR FURTHER DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE ELECTRONIC STEERING COLUMN LOCK WENT OUT AND I WAS UNABLE TO START MY CAR. I HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR WHICH I HAD TO PAY $1,100 TO GET A PROBLEM FIXED I NEVER EVEN HEARD OF. THERE WAS AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THIS PART THAT "EXPIRED" A YEAR AND A HALF AGO. NISSAN NEVER RECALLED THIS PART THAT IS CLEARLY A PROBLEM.
MY CAR STARTED WITH NO PROBLEM EARLY MORNING TO GO TO WORK, BUT WHEN I GOT OFF IT WOULD NOT START. I SAW A KEY LIGHT ON, SO I ASSUMED THAT IT WAS MY INTELLIGENT KEY BATTERY. SO I GOT A NEW BATTERY. I TRIED TO START IT AGAIN AND IT STILL WOULD NOT START. I HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THE NEXT MORNING THEY DID A DIAGNOSTIC. THEY TOLD ME MY STEERING LOCK UNIT IS BAD AND IT WOULD BE 1,020.00 TO REPLACE IT. I ASKED HOW DOES SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS WITH NO WARNING AND THEY COULD NOT ANSWER. I WAS TOLD IT JUST HAPPENS.THIS UNIT REALLY NEEDS TO BE RECALLED.

THE CAR WOULD NOT START. STEERING COLUMN BROKE. HAD IT FIXED THE FIRST TIME IT BROKE 3 YRS AGO. THEN IT WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. TWO DAYS AGO, IT HAPPENED AGAIN. CAR DOESN'T START. THE YELL INTELLIGENT KEY LIGHT WAS ON. I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I CALLED TO HAVE CAR TOWED TO DEALERSHIP (AGAIN). THIS TIME NO LONGER COVERED. TOTAL OF AROUND $1500 TO GET FIXED. BOTH TIMES MY CAR WAS PARKED, AND OFF, AND THE CAR JUST WOULDN'T START. BOTH TIMES HAD I HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED OVER 30 MILES ON A FLAT BED. I JUST WANTED 1 YR WITH NO CAR PAYMENT, CATCH UP ON MY STUDENT LOANS, AND BUY A NEW NISSAN. I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER NISSAN, EVER AGAIN!

WEB SEARCH REVEALS THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AND SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER RECALL. NISSAN REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS PROBLEM COVERS MULTIPLE YEARS AND MODELS. NO NOTIFICATION FROM NISSAN WARNING THIS PROBLEM WAS OCCURRING OVER SEVERAL YEARS. OVER $1000 TO REPAIR. MY VEHICLE LEFT ME STRANDED WHEN I STOPPED AT A OVERLOOK ON AFTON MOUNTAIN. REQUIRED TOWING TO NEAREST DEALER FOR REPAIR.
I WENT OUTSIDE TO START MY VEHICLE AND IT WOULDN'T START..THE STEERING WHEEL IS LOCKED AND I CAN'T GET IT UNLOCKED..THE STEERING WHEEL SYMBOL WITH 2 UP AND DOWN ARROWS ON BOTH SIDES OF IT LIGHTS UP ON THE DASH AND A RED FLASH IN CAR SYMBOL WITH A KEY IN THE CENTER OF IT IS ON ALONG WITH THE LOCK WORD ON THE PUSH BUTTON..IT WON'T GO PAST THE LOCK BUTTON WHEN I TRY TO START IT.

I INSERTED MY KEY FOB IN THE SLOT HOPING THAT FIXED IT AND NOTHING. I WIGGLED THE WHEEL AND PRESSED THE START BUTTON AND NOTHING. I TRIED EVERYTHING IN THE BOOK FOR 3 HOURS IN THE PARKING LOT OF HEB UNTIL I GOT IT TOWED TO MY APARTMENT UNTIL I FIGURED OUT WHAT TO DO. I GOT ONLINE AND SAW SO MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE. I CALLED NISSAN DEALERSHIP SATURDAY AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED. THEY SAID THEY NEEDED TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE SO I SCHEDULED. I ASKED IF THEY WOULD COVER THE REPAIRS SINCE THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON TO MANY VEHICLES, MAYBE A RECALL? THEY SAID NO, UNLESS I HAVE WARRANTY- I DON'T. TURNS OUT I NEED A NEW STEERING CONTROL. $1,500 LATER MY CAR IS BEING WORKED ON NOW. I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS FOR THE SERVICE ADVISORS. NOT A HAPPY NISSAN OWNER RIGHT NOW.
