THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THERE WAS A LEAK WITHIN THE HEAD GASKET. AS A RESULT, THE HEAD GASKET AND TRANSFER CASE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE REMEDY DID NOT REPAIR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE, AND OFFERED TO MAKE THE ADDITIONAL REPAIRS AT NO COST. THE MANUFACTURER ALSO OFFERED TO EXTEND THE WARRANTY ON THE PARTS THAT WERE BEING REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 17,000.
