PAINT DEFECT. SEVERAL LARGE AREAS OF PAINT CHIPPING AND FLAKING ON DOORS AND HOOD WITHOUT ANY OTHER PHYSICAL DAMAGE CORRESPONDING. THERE ARE SEVERAL LARGE AREAS WHERE THE PAINT JUST FALLS OFF WITH THE SLIGHTEST TOUCH,, IT IS DEFINITELY COMPROMISING THE APPEARANCE OF THE VEHICLE AS WELL AS THE STABILITY OF THE UNDERLYING BODY ALLOWING ELEMENTS TO REACH THE BARE METAL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT SEARCHED ONLINE AND FOUND THAT THERE WERE THREE OPEN RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH THE VIN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (ALL PRO NISSAN OF DEARBORN, 24501 MICHIGAN AVE, DEARBORN, MI 48124). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 423,000.
