NO CRASH YET BUT I DO HAVE A FISH TAILING, SIDE TO SIDE WOBBLING THAT APPEARS TO BE A DESIGN DEFECT FROM NISSAN. I OWN A 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER WITH 99,000 MILES AND AT SPEEDS OVER 50 MILES AN HOUR, THE TRUCK WILL START WOBBLING SIDE TO SIDE DUE TO A RUT IN THE ROAD OR A GUST OF WIND. FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY SEVERAL NISSAN MECHANICS, THE REAR UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS ARE BAD AND DETERIORATE PREMATURELY, CAUSING THE DANGEROUS WOBBLE IN THE TRUCK. THE COST TO REPLACE THE BUSHINGS IS $700.00 PLUS AND HAVE TO BE REPLACED. VERY POOR DESIGN WHICH WILL END UP CAUSING SERIOUS ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES. THANK YOU. *TR
CD PLAYER NO LONGER WORKS; DISPLAYS ERR 2. RADIO VOLUME CONTROL KNOB NO LONGER WORKS. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT OPENED THE LIFTGATE AND IT RAPIDLY CLOSED BY ITSELF ONTO HIS HEAD. HE SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO RECALL NOTICE CONCERNING STRUT TOWER HOUSING *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE ENTIRE STRUT ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED ON SEPT. 5, 2008 BEFORE THE NOTIFICATION WAS RECEIVED. THE CONSUMER IS REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT. *JB
I WAS DRIVING MY 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER ON A BUMPY ROAD AND HIT A POTHOLE, THE RIGHT STRUT PUNCHED THROUGH THE STRUT TOWER AND I COULD NO LONGER CONTROL THE VEHICLE. I THEN HAD IT TOWED TO MY LOCAL SHOP AND FOUND OUT THE WHOLE OF BOTH STRUT TOWERS WERE CORRODED BEYOND BELIEF. I HAD ONE REPAIRED AFTER I REPORTED IT TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY WHO THEN CHARGED ME A POINT ON MY LICENSE FOR THE ACCIDENT. I THEN TRADED THE VEHICLE IN ORDER TO AVOID PAYING THROUGH THE NOSE FOR THE OTHER STRUT TOWER REPAIR, I THEN FIND OUT NISSAN DID A RECALL ON THE PROBLEM. NOW THEY REFUSE TO PICK UP THE PHONE. THEY EVEN GAVE ME A BOGUS E-MAIL ACCOUNT TO SEND THE PAPER WORK FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT. I FEEL THEY AT LEAST OWE ME THE AMOUNT FOR THE REPAIRS AND THE SURCHARGE I AM STILL PAYING. *TR
THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON' HAS BEEN ON AND OFF FOR ABOUT 1 YEAR ON MY 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER (MILEAGE IS A LITTLE OVER 70,000). I TAKE THE CAR TO A GARAGE (DELMAR AUTO & RADIATOR INC., 90 ADAMS STREET, DELMAR, NY 12054, 518-439-0311) ON 8/1/08 TO HAVE IT DIAGNOSED ($144.40) AND THE CODE SAYS THE OXYGEN SENSOR (P0140) NEEDS REPLACEMENT ($219.37). THE WORK IS DONE AND AFTER ABOUT 80 MILES THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON COMES BACK ON. I TAKE THE CAR BACK TO THE GARAGE (8/7/08) HAVE IT DIAGNOSED ($144.40) AND THE CODE SAYS MASS AIR FLOW SIGNAL IS WEAK ($563.00). THE WORK IS DONE AND AFTER ABOUT 20 MILES THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON COMES BACK ON. I CALL THE GARAGE (8/18/08) AFTER THEY RETURN FROM VACATION AND THEY WILL TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A NISSAN DEALER AND HAVE THE ECM REPROGRAMMED AT COST. *TR
I PURCHASED AN 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER IN 2003 AND THE BOSE RADIO W/ 6 CD CLARION PLAYER. "ERR 2" CODED 3-MONTHS AFTER I PURCHASED IT. I HAD AN EXTENDED WARRANTY, IT WAS REPLACED WITH A REFURBISHED SYSTEM OF THE SAME. IT IS 8/08 AND THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN AGAIN, AND NOT COVERED. WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THAT THIS VEHICLE COULD GO THROUGH 2 RADIOS IN ONLY 63,000 MILES?? RIDICULOUS!!! NISSAN WILL NOT STAND BY THE CHEAP PARTS USED BY CLARION IN THE RADIO (AS RESEARCHED ON THE NET). I ALSO HAVE AN ECM PROBLEM, NISSAN SAYS IT NEEDS TO BE UPGRADED, BUT WILL NOT PAY FOR IT. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON CODING THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER. THEY TOLD ME NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE CONVERTER, JUST AN ERROR WITH THE SOFTWARE IN THE ECM. SO NOW I WON'T KNOW IF THE "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT IS ON FOR SOME THING SERIOUS OR IT IS JUST THE CONVERTER WRONGLY CODING. *TR
I RECEIVED A RECALL FOR MY 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER FOR A FAULTY FUEL FILLER TUBE. I HAD TO REPLACE MY TUBE A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO DUE TO LEAKING GAS. HOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING REIMBURSED FOR THIS WORK? *TR
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE ON 5/15.2008 I NOTICED A STRANGE NOISE EMANATING FROM THE OUTSIDE REAR AREA OF THE VEHICLE. THE NEXT DAY WHILE HAVING THE VEHICLES TIRES REPLACED A SHOP EMPLOYEE POINTED OUT TO ME THAT THE SWAY BAR WAS BROKEN IN HALF. THIS IS NOT A NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR OCCURRENCE AND WAS NOT DUE TO ANY MISTAKE OR MISUSE OF THE VEHICLE BY ME. I HAVE NOT DRIVEN THE VEHICLE SINCE AND THE BROKEN PART HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER. IN 2007, THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE TOWARDS THE END OF APRIL. HE CALLED THE DEALER TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE RECALL REPAIR AND THEY STATED THAT HE WOULD NEED TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR INSPECTION. AFTERWARDS, DEPENDING ON THE DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS, THEY WOULD DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THE COMPONENTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE RECALL NOTICE STATED THAT THE COMPONENT WOULD BE REPLACED NO MATTER WHAT; THEREFORE, THE CONTACT BELIEVED THAT THE DEALER SHOULD REPLACE THE DEFECTED ITEM REGARDLESS OF THE DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS. THERE HAD BEEN NO FAILURE TO DATE. THE RECALL NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 77,000.
NISSAN PATHFINDER- OXYGEN SENSOR KEEPS ON FALLING. VERY POOR QUALITY. *TR
6 CD CHANGER CD PLAYER NEVER WORKS, I HAVE TRIED TO CALL NISSAN AS I FOUND 100 OF SIMILAR COMPLAINTS BUT NO RESPONSE. THE CD SYSTEM IS BY BOSE. ONE OF THE TOP CD MAKERS IN THE WORLD. DEALERS WILL CHARGE 2000 TO FIX IT, IS IT REALLY WORTH FIXING IT FOR 2K I WOULD RATHER INSTALL OF THE MKT ONE, HOWEVER IT SHOWS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY. *TR
MY 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER 6 DISC CD CHANGER WENT OUT ON ME THE OTHER DAY WITH THE DREADED "ERR2" MESSAGE. THIS IS CLEARLY A DEFECT THAT THE MANUFACTURER IS NOT TAKING CARE OF. SOMETHING MUST ME DONE. *TR

THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE CONTACT'S VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 07V435000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:FILLER PIPE AND CAP). THEY ALSO ADVISED HIM TO CALL THE CONSUMER AFFAIRS DIVISION IN TWO WEEKS. THE TIRE MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE WHILE REPLACING THE TIRES. THE REPAIR WOULD COST $1,000. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,900 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 69,000.
2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER FUEL LINE LEAK. CONSUMER STATES THAT HE WOULD LIKE TO BE REIMBURSED FOR PAYING TO HAVE THE REPAIR FOR THE FUEL LEAK. CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL AND WOULD LIKE TO BE PAID BACK. *KB RECALL # 07V435000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP WHERE IT REMAINED UNTIL THE PARTS ARRIVED. NISSAN STATED THAT HER VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 07V435000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:FILLER PIPE AND CAP). THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 115,000.
ON SEPTEMBER 12,2007 NISSAN POSTED A RECALL ON 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDERS. MY VEHICLE WHICH SHOULD BE PART OF THE RECALL WAS DENIED BY NISSAN BECAUSE MY VEHICLES VIN#S WERE NOT PART OF THEIR RECALL. I BEG TO DIFFER. I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE IN JUNE 06 IN LOU,KY. THE RECALL STATES THAT IF THEY ARE CURRENTLY REGISTERED IN CERTAIN STATES AND KY IS ONE OF THOSE THEN I'M ENTITLED TO THE RECALL. I PURCHASED A 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER FROM A FAMILY MEMBER. THE BOSE 6 CD CHANGER COMES UP WITH AN ERROR MESSAGE ERR2. JULY 1, 2007: MICHELIN TIRE FAILURE: P255/65 R16 MICHELIN LTX M/S . AFTER 22K MILES ON THE TIRES, WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 65MPH, SUDDENLY THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE TREAD COMPLETELY SEPARATED FROM THE SIDEWALL, RESULTING IN A BLOWOUT. THE 2001 PATHFINDER LE 4X4, DIDN'T FLIP OVER. I WAS ABLE TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE AND PULLOVER ON THE SIDE. THE ENTIRE TIRE TREAD SEPARATED INTACT, AROUND THE TAILPIPE BRACKETS AND REAR MUDFLAP. THE TREAD IS UNDAMAGED: NO NAIL OR SCREWS OR ANY OTHER ROAD HAZARD OR DAMAGES. THE AAA SENT A TRUCK WHO CHANGED THE TIRE. HIS COMMENT WAS: "IN OVER 22 YEARS OF DOING TIRE AND MECHANICAL WORK, HE NEVER SAW ANYTHING LIKE THIS". I RETURNED THE TIRE TO COSTCO. THE TIRE CENTER MANAGER WAS VERY COOPERATIVE,WHERE THEY ORDERED A NEW TIRE WITHOUT QUESTION.DAMAGES TO THE PATHFINDER WERE ESTIMATED AT $900 DUE TO THE NEED TO REPLACE THE TAILPIPE/MUFFLER ASSEMBLY AND THE MUDFLAP WAS DESTROYED. COSTCO MANAGER SAID THAT THE CLAIM FOR DAMAGES WOULD NEED TO BE MADE DIRECTLY TO MICHELIN. I DID THAT. IT IS A MIRACLE THAT THE VEHICLE DIDN'T FLIP OVER !!!. MICHELIN REQUIRED THAT THE TIRE BE RETURNED TO COSTCO, HAVE THEM CALL MICHELIN TO GIVE A REPORT OF THE SITUATION. MICHELIN REP SAID THAT THEY WOULD OFFER PERHAPS A 50% DISCOUNT ON THE PURCHASE OF NEW REPLACEMENT TIRE BUT NOTHING ELSE. I WANT MICHELIN TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGES SUSTAINED !!. I WAS REQUIRED TO SEND THE TIRE TO MICHELIN (THEY EVENTUALLY PAID FOR THE SHIPPING) TO BE EXAMINED. THE RESULTS OF THEIR INVESTIGATION WAS A LETTER RESPONSE THAT THIS WAS CAUSED BY "DRIVER ERROR" - BY RUNNING THE TIRE IN A RUN-FLAT CONDITION. A RUN -FLAT CONDITION ???? THEY SENT A BROCHURE PRINTOUT EXPLAINING HOW THAT OCCURS. AIR ESCAPES , RUNS LOW AND THE TIRE EVENTUALLY BLOWS OUT. THERE WAS NO AIR ESCAPE NOR IS THERE ANY ROAD HAZARD DAMAGE TO THE TREAD. HOW DID THE AIR ESCAPE TO RUN FLAT ??? MICHELIN DID NOT PAY ANY DAMAGES. *TR
THE BOSE 6 DISC CHANGER IS ALSO GIVING ME AS WELL AS HUNDREDS OF OTHERS THE DREADED 'ERR 2' ERROR AND WILL NOT EJECT OR PLAY DISCS. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CENTER ARM REST IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE LEANS ON THE CONVERTIBLE CHILD SAFETY SEAT. THIS CAUSES THE ARM REST TO LEAN OUTWARDS. THE FAILURE IS DUE TO HOW THE REAR SEAT WAS DESIGNED. THE CENTER SEAT BELT WAS TWISTED AT THE BASE, WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO TIGHTEN AND SECURE THE CHILD SEAT. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO DISASSEMBLE IT AND WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE OWNERS MANUAL STATED THAT IT IS UNSAFE WHEN THE SEAT BELT IS TWISTED. THE ANGLE OF THE REAR SEAT IS STEEP AT THE BOTTOM. THE CONTACT IS USING A HUGE BATH TOWEL FOLDED UNDER THE SEAT, BUT THE SEAT IS NOT SECURE. THE CHILD SEAT MOVES FROM SIDE TO SIDE. THE SAFETY SEAT RESTS ON THE EDGE OF WHERE THE VEHICLE'S SEAT MEETS THE OTHER SECTION OF THE REAR SEAT. THIS INCREASES INSTABILITY AND CAUSES THE CHILD SEAT TO ANGLE DOWNWARDS. THE VEHICLE HAS NO LOWER ANCHOR TETHER. THE CONTACT HAS NOT SPOKEN WITH THE DEALER. THE PURCHASE DATE AND FUEL SYSTEM WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 95,153 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,153.

I JUST PURCHASED A 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE 6 DISC CD PLAYER DOES NOT WORK, IT SAYS "ERR2". I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT EVERYTHING WAS IN WORKING CONDITION AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. ENGINE SERVICE LIGHT - CATALYTIC CONVERTER. MY MECHANIC FIXED THE ENGINE SEVICE LIGHT BEING ALWAYS ON BY BYPASSING SOMETHING ON THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER. *TR
I OWN A 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER SE THAT IS CONFIGURED WITH A BOSE/CLARION 6 CD CHANGER UNIT. THE UNIT FAILED IN 2007 GIVING AN ERR 2 MESSAGE. I HAD THE UNIT REMOVED BY EMPIRE NISSAN LAKEWOOD, CO WHO SENT IT TO BE REPAIRED TWICE TO A SERVICE CONTRACTOR. BOTH TIMES THE UNIT WAS RETURNED REINSTALLED AND FAILED AGAIN. THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. AN INTERNET SEARCH REVEALED MANY OTHER CONSUMERS REPORTING THE EXACT SAME ERR 2 PROBLEMS WITH THEIR AUDIO SYSTEMS. *TR
I PURCHASED NISSAN PATHFINDER 2001 ON MARCH 2001, AND THE IN-DASH 6-CD CHANGER DEFECTED FIRST TIME LESS THAN A YEAR WITHIN THE WARRANTY. IT WAS SENT TO FACTORY TO BE REFURBISHED. AFTER THAT IT MALFUNCTIONED AGAIN TWICE. AFTER I BOUGHT THE SERVICE MANUAL FOR THE CLARION UNIT I FOUND THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY PLASTIC GEARS THAT CONTINUED TO BREAK. THE PLASTIC WILL GET BRITTLE OVER TIME AND BREAK OR STRIP OUT. KNOWING THIS, CLARION CONTINUED TO USE PLASTIC GEARS THAT WERE KNOWN TO BREAK DURING NORMAL USAGE. THIS WAS POOR ENGINEERING ON CLARION'S PART. IF THE GEARS WERE MADE OF SOMETHING STRONGER , SUCH AS TEFLON? THE GEARS WOULD NO LONGER BREAK OR STRIP OUT. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT NO ONE AT NISSAN/INFINITI OR CLARION ADMITTED TO THIS PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM MENTIONED HERE COULD BE FOUND IN MOST ALL OF THE CLARION 6-DISC CHANGERS INSTALLED IN NISSAN/INFINITI VEHICLES. A SMALL GROUP ACROSS THE U.S. WAS NOW SPREADING THE WORD NOT TO BUY NISSAN/INFINITI PRODUCTS BECAUSE OF THIS SINGLE PROBLEM. THE DISSATISFIED GROUP WAS ONLY GOING TO GET LARGER AS THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE FIND OUT HOW NISSAN/INFINITI AND CLARION WERE DENYING THIS PROBLEM. *AK
I HAVE 2WD NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CAR HAS BEEN VOBBELING LEFT TO RIGHT AND RIGHT TO LEFT AT SPEEDS OF 50MPH AND OVER. SOME OF THE SYMPTOMS ARE EXCESSIVE PLAY IN THE REAR AXLE ESPECIALLY DURING MODERATE ACCELERATION OR DECELERATION. THE COST OF THE REPAIRS WERE $2,058.34. FOUR MONTHS LATER, THE ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONSUMER RETURNED TO THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THE FUEL FILLER TUBE HAD RUSTED AND WAS LEAKING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY. I HAVE A 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER THAT HAS THE 6 DISC BOSE CD CHANGE, I HAVE CONTACTED THE ORIGINAL DEALER OF THE VEHICLE AS WELL AS NISSAN AND CLARION, THE MANUFACTURE OF THE CD PLAYER AND HAVE RECEIVED MULTIPLE SNOW JOBS. ALL I AM LOOKING FOR IS THE DEFECTIVE PLAYER TO EITHER BE FIXED OR REPLACED WITH A NEW UNIT, I KNOW THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE OUT THERE AFTER RESEARCHING SAID PLAYER ON THE INTERNET. I DID RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND FOUND THAT HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE SAME PATHFINDER AT ABOUT THE SAME MILEAGE. THE DEALERSHIP INFORMED ME IT WOULD COST $500 TO REPAIR. THE CD PLAYER ATE UP MY CDS AND I CAN NOT GET THEM OUT UNLESS I TAKE APART THE DASH AND EVERY TIME I TURN ON THE IGNITION, I HEAR A SERIES OF CLICKING NOISES. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THIS DISK CHANGER. *NM
WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH ON I-95 THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE BLEW OUT. SPECIFICALLY THE THREADS PEELED OFF CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE WHEEL WELL, TRIM AND BRAKES. DAMAGE WAS $1650. TIRE WAS A TOYO TRANPATH A12(TAA12-6). P255/65R16 106S WITH GOOD THREADS. UPON INSPECTION CRACKS ARE VISIBLE ON TWO OTHER TOYO TIRES AND NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE FOURTH TIRE IS A BRIDGESTONE DUELER H/T AND SHOWS NO CRACKS. VIRGINIA HWY PATROL CHECKED VEHICLE BUT DID NOT FILE A REPORT. *NM

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY, A GAS LEAK WAS NOTICED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP, WHO DETERMINED THE GAS FILLER HOSE WAS FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.
I HAVE A 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER LE THAT HAS APPROXIMATELY 74000 MILES ON IT. THIS SUMMER, THE OEM 6 DISC CD CHANGER BY CLARION IN THE CAR HAS STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY. IT WAS NOT USED INAPPROPRIATELY OR ABNORMALLY IN ANY WAY. I INSERTED A CD INTO IT, AND IT DISPLAYED "ERR2" ON THE SCREEN, AND BEGAN CLICKING REPEATEDLY, AND THE CD DID NOT PLAY AT ALL. I WAS ABLE TO EJECT ALL CD'S FROM THE CHANGER, BUT THE UNIT CONTINUES TO NOT WORK. IN SUBSEQUENT ATTEMPTS TO PLAY A CD IN THE CHANGER, THE SAME ERROR "ERR2" DISPLAYS AND I HEAR THE REPEATED CLICKING. I HAVE NOT TRIED TO REPLACE THE UNIT OR FIX THIS PROBLEM AT ALL. I HAVE DONE SOME ONLINE RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON DEFECT IN NISSAN PATHFINDERS BY READYING/JOINING A FORUM WHERE HUNDREDS OF USERS ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM. IN FACT, I HAVE FOUND PAY SERVICES DEDICATED TO REPAIRING THIS UNIT BECAUSE OF THE OVERWHELMING POPULATION OF USERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I BELIEVE NISSAN SHOULD RESOLVE THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY. I PURCHASED A 2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE 6 DISC BOSE CD PLAYER WORKED PERFECT FOR A FEW YEARS. IN 2006 IT READ ERR2. I ATTEMPTED TO RETRIEVE THE CD'S BUT THEY WOULD NOT COME OUT. AS A RESULT THE PLAYER CONTINUOUSLY CLICKED AND THEN EVENTUALLY STOPPED. NOW IT DOES NOT DO ANYTHING. I HAVE FOUND THIS PROBLEM TO BE VERY COMMON IN 2001 PATHFINDER AND INFINTIY QX4. THERE IS NOT A CD PLAYER MADE THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH BOSE THAT WILL SOUND GOOD. TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE IS RIDICULOUS BECAUSE OF THE HIGH PRICE THROUGH THE DEALERSHIP.
