NHTSA Owner Complaint Log
This page lists owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA for the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA and do not by themselves prove a defect or defect rate.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH the vehicle was not shifting correctly and the vehicle stated jerking and shaking without any warning. The contact was able to pull over and had the vehicle tow to the dealer. The dealer stated that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and a case was file and advised to contact NHTSA. The failure mileage was 110,000.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated while driving at various speeds and depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle failed to respond immediately. The contact stated that the failure recurred on a raining day, causing the vehicle to glide. The air bag, traction control, and the ABS warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the brakes were replaced. The contact stated that she also replaced the tires; however, the failure persisted. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V445000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic, Electrical System); however, the VIN was not included. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing inaccurate fuel gauge reading. The contact stated that while driving, the vehicle shut off due to the lack of fuel. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where an unknown repair was completed. The contact also stated that the vehicle was experiencing an electrical failure. The contact stated that the headlights and the interior lights were dim and would flicker intermittently. Additionally, the power train warning light illuminated intermittently. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
Sun visors both sides will not remain up. Had one replaced. Still not staying in position. Holding them up with rubber bands and shoe laces doesn’t allow them to be adjusted when needed for safety.
The transmission cvt failed and it's making the car unsafe to drive.
Car shakes and sputters at low speeds or when stopping. Took to dealership transmission failure
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid. The contact stated that while driving up a hill during icy road conditions at approximately 10 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. As a result, the vehicle slid backwards down the hill and crashed into a brick mailbox. The catalytic converter warning light was illuminated prior to the failure however the part was on back order. The front air bags failed to deploy and the unknown air bag that did deploy trapped her in the vehicle causing it to need to be cut in order to release the contact. The failure had occurred on several occasion. The contact did not sustain any injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it remained pending an investigation from Nissan. The contact received NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V774000 (Engine and Engine Cooling, Hybrid Propulsion System) back in 2021 however parts had not been available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that there was no remedy for the recall repair. The contact was concerned that it will take 3 months for Nissan to conclude their investigation with the vehicle failure and that in the meantime she was left with no transportation. The failure mileage was 130,000.
After performing Recall PC786 my vehicle still randomly fails to start and I have to wait for 20 to 30 minutes for it to respond to normal start procedure. Fob battery new, battery good, break engaged. The recall didn’t provide a solution, problem with starting relay and connectivity remains. Safety issue.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that the front driver's side interior door handle no longer functioned as needed, and the door could not be opened from inside the vehicle. The driver had to roll down the window and use the exterior door handle to open the door. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 120,000.
Vehicle was purchased used from an AutoNation Dealership. This 2014 product has the same CVT defect as 2015 and above Pathfinders, but is not mentioned in settlement. Noted a continuous rhythmic thumping noise while driving and occasional scraping. We took the vehicle to a mechanic who informed us it needed to go back to the dealership because Nissan will not sell him a transmission. We were informed by the Nissan dealership a transmission replacement was necessary to make the vehicle safe at a cost of $6k. The parking pin is the defect of all other CVT transmissions in this class of vehicle. If this fails on the road, it will cause an accident when it lunges forward.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle would not properly accelerate. The contact stated that the check engine warning light would illuminate, and the engine would start to vibrate, causing the vehicle to become unstable while turning. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who replaced the engine control valve, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 100,000
the CVT transmission jerking/shuddering/hesitation
Vehicle shudders on acceleration randomly. Needs to be safety recall.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V774000 (Engine and Engine Cooling, Hybrid Propulsion System) however, shortly after the repair, the vehicle would stall right after start-up. The contact stated that the failure occurred while driving or while the vehicle was idle. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that they were not obligated to repair any additional damages during the recall repair. The contact was informed that the vehicle had no extended warranty service plan. The approximate failure mileage was 175,000.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated while driving at a slow speed, the vehicle started to jerk forward. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to continue driving to his destination. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with needing the continuously variable transmission (CVT) to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed; however, the result was not yet provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 67,000.
My 2014 Pathfinder has had all 4 door handles break just randomly causing us to be stuck in the vehicle without being able to get out unless we roll down the windows. Nissan fixed the passenger front door but would not fix the 2 back one's. Then the other day with temperatures inside the car in the 90s both front doors broke and the car would not start for us to get the windows down. We were locked in the car for almost 15 minutes before someone saw us and came over and let us out. We could of all died inside from the heat and had absolutely no way to get out of the vehicle. I took it to 3 mechanics but they all say Nissan is the only one with the part to remove the door panels to fix it. Nissan knows they are broken and wants to charge over $1,000 to fix them. There was no notice no warning just as you try to open the door the handle snaps and just sticks out and cannot open. I have been reading up on complaints and this is very dangerous the amount out there on this same issue. It appears Nissan is very aware of it and does nothing, people can die if they cannot get out of a car during an accident or high temperatures. It is available for inspection.
In 2017 the engine light came on and I took my car to Nissan of McKinney, Texas. They found the transmission was damaged and they claimed they replaced with another/new transmission. On November 18, 2021 the engine light came on again and I took the car to Nissan of McKinney. Michael D. Riffe at phone number 214 390 5370 or 469 877 0690 was my service agent., after inspecting the car, he told me that the transmission is bad again and I need to pay approx. $5900 before tax and labor. I reminded him that they had just changed the transmission in 2017 so I didn't understand why the 2nd transmission went bad again, he refused to help repair/replace the transmission even though they claimed to have installed a new transmission in 2017. Michael told me since I had added miles on the car they can't replace the transmission and I will need to pay approx. $5900 before tax for it to be replaced. Nissan of McKinney is deceptive, I feel like I was robbed and Nissan of McKinney lied in 2017 when they claimed that they had replaced the transmission because a transmission does not just break and they never showed me proof that they had installed a new transmission. I am requesting for assist so Nissan of McKinney/Nissan can take full responsibility and repair/replace the transmission at no charge. Also, after a research I found similar SUVs had transmission issues and there was a lawsuit filed in which Nissan accepted to settle, I was never made aware of this lawsuit and my vehicle is one of the affected vehicles in the lawsuit.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the RPM revved up to approximately 4,000-5,000 RPM. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic where it was diagnosed with needing the transmission replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
Vehicle shuddered, stopped at red light in traffic. Vehicle would not drive or reverse.
We purchased our vehicle from Nissan at 72K miles, we experienced a host of problems that we had to pay for out of pocket, only to have Nissan confirm our CVT transmission start to judder and start to lose power when turning left and right at low speeds. We experienced this at 111k miles when our car stalled when pulling out onto a busy road almost causing an accident in front of Walmart. We are in a situation where the repairs of the transmission and the other parts that continually fail are more money than what we have left on payments for the vehicle itself. With such a wide range of vehicles produced with this transmission type and such a widespread problem we feel like Nissan needs to take some ownership of the problem and would like some relief in the form of compensation or recall.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle started jerking while shifting gears. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer and the contact was advised to replace the spark plugs. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the spark plugs; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the independent mechanic again who diagnosed the vehicle and confirmed a transmission malfunction. The contact stated the failure had increased considerably over time. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
Interior driver’s side door handle snapped when I tried open it today from the inside. The only way to get out of the car now is to roll down the window and open from the outside. This seems to have happened to many other owners and was actually a recall on the 2008 Nissan murano
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated while driving 75 MPH, the sunroof glass fractured without impact. The contact stated that there was no injury sustained. The sunroof shade was closed, and broken glass did not penetrate the vehicle interior. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,800.
While driving the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder at 50 mph the hood came unlatched. It then hit the windshield and broke the fenders. This caused no visibility of the road while traveling at a high speed. The issue was reported to Nissan however, the vehicle is out of warranty. Our insurance company has assigned us to a collision center to fix the windshield and fenders. There were not warning messages before the hood latch failed.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated while shifting gears from PARK to DRIVE and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle inadvertently started shuddering. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring while driving. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that he would be responsible for the cost of a diagnostic test. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 140,000.
The passenger side tailgate strut failed. When the tailgate was open, the point where the struct connects to the lower bracket snapped, causing the tailgate to fall on, and injur the person below. I see that there is a recall on Nissan Rouges for "rusting tailgate struts" that seems to be the same problem, but none issued for Pathfinders. The vehicle has not been taken to the dealer for this issue or otherwise inspected. No warning lamps were present before, or after this occurred.
Driving on the highway at 75 mph on 8/26/21 the moon roof above the driving compartment shattered. It was preceded by a loud explosion sound which startled the driver enough to have to pull over. A police officer was driving behind her and pulled over as well because his car was showered with glass fragments. No vehicles were in front of the car when this occurred so nothing impacted the glass. It was a hot Florida day. Luckily the sun shade was closed so the glass did not rain down on the driver
Driver side sun visor has broken and can’t be stowed. Visor now hangs down and blocks at least 50% of the drivers view to the front. Visor can be moved to the left, up against the side window, but then it blocks the view to the left. This is a known issue. It is a safety defect and a recall should be issued.
CVT transmission Failure. First failure was approx 53,000 miles. 2nd failure was at 82,500 miles. The first failure threw a code while in for service to investigate an engine shudder. We were experiencing some moderate engine shudder and hesitation. The second occurrence was a very dangerous situation. CVT would barely move (extreme hesitation) at low speed making turns with oncoming traffic to get home potentially deadly. These vehicles probably need to be repurchased by the manufacturer and taken off the streets. At a minimum Nissan should be forced to further extend the CVT powertrain warranty and take responsibility for these poorly designed units. Failures occur with no warning. Had the same situation occur on the highway with a Nissan Altima as well. Instant failure with no warning.
This vehicle stops running while driving causing life threatening situations, Nissan is fully aware of the CVT Transmission issues and refuses to cover the repair of this CVT Transmission, this unexpectable, they have known about this problem since 2013, continued to sale and manufacture the vehicle, this is a terrible business practice and should be stopped, these consumers buy these vehicles expecting to be able to keep their families safe. We keep up on all our vehicles maintenance and repairs. I am sure if the CEO or the head of the NTSB had family in a fatal accident related to Nissans refusal to recall this CVT Transmission on all vehicles especially this year and make, then we would not have an issue getting help with this situation. Does someone have to die before a recall is forced? This issue started on 8/6/21 and has continued to stop running while we are driving it, we have parked this vehicle at the nissan dealership to prevent a fatality, until this issue is resolved, we owe money on this vehicle and now nissan is saying its over $10,000.00 to repair! This is madness. Protecting the company instead of the consumer has got to stop!
My vehicle has started to stall, jerk, jump while accelerating. I have called Nissan and got the run around. Non returned phone call.
June 2021 I brought my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder in for routine maintenance. I was informed there was a recall for the 'Brake Switch'. I had not received notice for this recall but east Charlotte Nissan insisted it get done. Until this date I had NO problems with this vehicle. Right after the recall was done I was driving thru a round-a-bout, tapped the brakes and then had NO Acceleration. There was a semi-truck on my bumper and I had no where to go. I immediately brought the vehicle back to EC and they insisted it was my transmission. They said they found no issues and charged me for work that was not necessary. I continued to brake down 4 more times pulling my trailer from NC to ME. Two incidents were on I81N. I had semi-trucks all around me. Panicked!! I had the vehicle into 4 different dealers, 6 different times. They could not fix the issue. I asked Berlin City Nissan to at least replace the recall parts. They did. My vehicle totally broke down this time, again going thru a round-a-bout. Every light on the dash was flashing. I had no control of the vehicle but was able to roll onto the sidewalk. I was too afraid to drive this vehicle any further. I called a tow truck. Several dealers explained they had seen this already and thought they could repair. None Could. Marc Motors sent that vehicle off to auction, as is!!! I have nightmares of some mom breaking down with her kids in the car. I have filed complaints with Nissan, 10 different departments. Nissan Corporate is telling me the NHTSA is responsible for the Nightmare Nissan has caused me and have 'brushed me off'. I am now in a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder and have identified 3 different issues with the vehicle. One of which is very dangerous. Not sure where to go next. I have all the documentation to back up my claim. Can you help?
I purchased my car 1 year ago. Since then my car has continued to stutter. Sometimes its a suttle stutter, most times its very noticeable and has continued to get worse in the short time I've had my car. I commute 1 hour to work and 1 hour home from work and am very concerned traveling on the highway at high speeds with this issue. I've asked a dealership in Hutchinson, KS to help me with this issue as I am concerned the CVT valve in the transmission has not been fixed and they won't help me. They tell me that since their tech does not witness the stutter during their brief test drive there is nothing they can do to help. I've read several complaints on nhtsa.gov from other customers as well and they are consistent with my concern.
We have a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder and started having issues in June 2021. Our car stalled while driving home from work almost causing an accident. Had it towed to Nissan and they told us we needed to replace the Transmission. It took them 2 months to fix our car. In the midst of fixing the transmission they said the supercharger pulley needed to be replaced. OKAY! We finally get our car and a day later the check engine light is on again and now the horn wont stop blaring. We had to disconnect the battery. WE TOOK IT BACK TO NISSAN and they said the battery was bad. They replaced it but it did not fix the issue. Nissan had to call the Nissan Tech Line for suggestions. So they said the DC/DC converter assy needed to be replaced and the HV harness was also failing to communicate. All this is connected to the transmission. With the new recall coming out all of this should be refunded. We need assistance. Any information or suggestions anyone has would be highly helpful.
While driving the car the driver and passenger sun visors are falling down and disturbe the view of the road. Contact the dealer and was told that the car is out of warranty and as such they would not replace it. This is a constant problem and it is not repairable.. This situation pauses a great risk to the driver as well as any traffic near by. Dealer name: Nissan Marlboro MA
Back on 5/27/21, I purchased a new transmission from Murfreesboro Nissan for my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder at 128k miles. Everything seemed fine at first, but a few months later, on 2/18/22, I got the CVT flush at 146k miles as advised. I mentioned that my Pathfinder was jerking, similar to when a transmission issue occurs. I was reassured that it was normal. Concerned about the ongoing transmission problems, I visited Murfreesboro Nissan on 9/16/22, when my check engine light came on. I specifically requested a diagnostic test and mentioned the transmission issue once again. However, I was informed that the problem was with the catalytic converter, which I had to get fixed elsewhere. I was once again told it was normal for the transmission to feel that way. Months passed, and on 12/2/22, at 159k miles, I returned to Murfreesboro Nissan for another diagnostic test. The situation had worsened, and this time the service advisor confirmed that the problem was indeed with the transmission. To my dismay, the advisor even admitted that she wished she had advised me to sell the transmission when I purchased it in 2021, as they apparently have consistent issues with their CVTs. She acknowledged that going from 128k miles to 159k miles should not require a new transmission, especially after getting the CVT flushed as recommended. Murfreesboro Nissan will not cover it since it just passed the 1 year mark of the transmission warranty though I have been complaining about it while it was still in warranty.
HAVE HAD TO REPLACE TRANSMISSION 2 TIMES ON VEHICLE WITH 141000 MILES ON IT. THESE CVT TRANSMISSIONS FAIL AFTER 60000 MILES OR SO. VERY FRUSTRATING TO PAY THIS MUCH FOR A VEHICLE TO HAVE SAME EQUIPMENT FAIL MULTIPLE TIMES. THE REPLACEMENT TRANSMISSIONS ARE NO BETTER THAN THE ORIGINALS. NISSAN NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING TO COMPENSATE THESE CONSUMERS AND OWN UP TO THE CVT TRANSMISSION BEING FAULTY.
TRIPS, SHUDDERING AND LOSS OF POWER WHEN ACCELERATING
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, WHEN A SMOKE ODOR WAS DETECTED AND SMOKE CAME THROUGH THE CABIN FILTER INSIDE THE VEHICLE. NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS LEAKING OIL AND THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED AND WAS STILL AT THE MECHANIC. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FAILURE WAS NOT COVERED SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS OVER THE MILEAGE WARRANTY COVERAGE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 111,000.
THE LEAK ON INNER TRANSFER CASE CAN CAUSE FIRE ON MIDDLE OF PASSENGER AND DRIVER SEAT, ALOS ODOR MAY CASUE THE DRIVE UNCONFORTABLE LEAK IS VERY SERIOUSLY FROM AXLE INNER SEAL. CVT TRANSMISSION JUDDER AND SHUDDER IS VERY DANGEROUS FOR ALL PASSENGER ON HIGHWAY THE SPEED WONT GO UP AND THE CAR WILL SHAKE LIKE A BOAT I MIGHT KILL ALL MY FAMILY DURING A TRIP TO PA WITH THIS CVT ISSUE. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ASK NISSAN TO RECALL THIS ISSUE TO SAVE 1000 LIFES.
CAR JUDDER AND LOOSE POWER
MY PASSENGER SEAT STOPPED SENSING SOMEONE SITTING IN THE SEAT AND WOULDN'T TURN ON. THEN, A COUPLE DAYS LATER THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON FLASHING. I WAS NOT IN ANY KIND OF ACCIDENT WHATSOEVER NOR WAS THERE A REASON FOR THIS TO HAPPEN. MEDFORD NISSAN TOLD ME THEY WOULD NOT REPAIR IT THAT I HAD TO PAY 120.00 JUST FOR THEM TO DETECT WHAT WAS WRONG. THEN THEY WANTED ME TO PAY TO FIX IT. I DID NOTHING THAT WOULD CAUSE THIS TO HAPPEN. SCROLLING THROUGH AIRBAG COMPLAINTS FROM THE 2014 NISSAN PATHFINDERS IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE.
THE MANUFACTURER HAS FAILED TO REMEDY THIS SAFETY RECALL FOR MY VEHICLE.
WHILE DRIVING ON A CITY STREET AT ~ 30MPH, THE HOOD FLEW OPEN BENDING BOTH THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER FENDERS AND MANGLING THE SEALS. THE FORCE AT WHICH THE HOOD OPENED NEARLY BROKE THE WINDSHIELD AND DID NOT ALLOW FOR THE DRIVER TO SEE OUT OF ANY PART OF THE WINDOW REQUIRING AN IMMEDIATE STOP. THERE WAS NO INDICATION ON THE DASHBOARD THAT THE HOOD WAS AJAR. IN DOING SOME RESEARCH, THERE IS A RECALL ON THE SAME YEAR/MAKE/MODEL BUT NONE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS VIN. WHILE THE DRIVER AND NO OTHER VEHICLES WERE INVOLVED IN THE ACCIDENT, THIS ISSUE HAD THE POTENTIAL TO INJURY OR KILL SOMEONE IF THIS HAD HAPPENED ON THE HIGHWAY OR ON A BUSIER ROAD.

I OWN A 2014 NISSAN PATHFINDER AND THE TRANSMISSION DIED LAST WEEK. I TOWED IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THE REPAIR IS $5,400. AFTER SOME DIGGING I DISCOVERED THAT NISSAN HAS HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL YEAR TRANSMISSION AND THERE WAS A CLASS ACTION SUIT FOR THIS ISSUE. THEY THEN EXTENDED THE WARRANTY ON THE CVT TO 10 YEARS OR 120,000 MILES, HOWEVER OWNERS WERE NEVER INFORMED OF THIS RECALL/ CAMPAIGN SINCE ALL VEHICLES WOULD NOT EXPERIENCE THIS PROBLEM. UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME MY TRANNY FAILED AT 125,000 MILES AND THEY WOULD NOT REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY, ALTHOUGH ALL THE CIRCUMSTANCES I OUTLINED ABOVE SHOWS' THEY DID NOT DO THEIR DO DILIGENCE TO INFORM AND FIX THE ISSUE AFTER THEY FOUND OUT ABOUT THE FAULT. I'M SURE THEY WILL BE MANY MORE OWNERS OF THESE VEHICLES THAT WILL EXPERIENCE THIS ISSUE. ANYTHING YOU CAN DO TO ASSIST WITH THIS WOULD A APPRECIATED.
AFTER ANY COMPLETE STOP , AS YOU ACCELERATE YOU FEEL ABOUT 3 TO FOUR SKIPS DURING ACCELERATION. HAPPENS EVERY TIME . HEARD THAT TRANSMISSION HAS ISSUES
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING, THE HOOD OPEN INADVERTENTLY CAUSING DAMAGE TO TWO OF THE FRONT FENDERS. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V033000 (STRUCTURE). NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 93,000.
I GOT NEW TRANSMISSION AND DEALERSHIP TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY FOR ALTERNATOR BATTERY AND FUEL PUMP AND AFTER I GOT MY CAR BACK NOT TO MENTION THE DEALERSHIP STOLE EVERYTHING FROM MY CAR AND MY CAR WAS AS TILL THE SAME AND THEY SAID MY WARRANTY WAS UP AND I BARELY DROV E IT AROUND AND IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN
TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING AND JERKING. HAD BEEN DRIVING FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES AND WAS STOPPED AT AN INTERSECTION. PULLED OUT INTO TRAFFIC AND TRANSMISSION SLIPPED/JERKED RESULTING IN ALMOST NO ACCELERATION. HAS HAPPENED AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES WHILE DRIVING STRAIGHT AND ALSO WHEN TURNING. VEHICLE AS 76,000 MILES. 2014 NISSAN PATHFINDER
SECONDARY HOOD LATCH DID NOT PREVENT HOOD FROM OPENING. HOOD OPENED AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET. RESULTED IN DAMAGING STRUTS AND BODY AS WELL AS A DANGEROUS IMPACT TO VISIBILITY. DID A GENERIC INTERNET SEARCH AND I FOUND RECALL PC343, NHTSA DATABASE SHOWS NO RECALLS OPEN, NEITHER DID NISSAN WEBSITE.
