TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN QUEST. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE WOULD HEAR A CRACKING NOISE WHENEVER SHE TURNED THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS EVENTUALLY TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FRONT CONTROL ARMS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT BOTH TIE ROD ENDS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000.
HAVE A 2005 NISSAN QUEST. THERE IS VISIBLE SHAKING OF THE STEERING WHEEL AT VARYING DRIVING SPEEDS AND ROAD CONDITIONS INCLUDING DRIVING IN THE HIGHWAY. THE SHAKING OF THE STEERING WHEEL IS TRANSFERRED TO THE HAND THAT CAUSES SEVERE WRIST PAIN WHILE DRIVING. *NM
