SENSORS GO OFF AS IF SOMETHING IS IN FRONT OF ME TO POSSIBLE EMERGENCY BRAKING AND CUTS OFFS AFTER BEEPING A COUPLE TIMES WHEN I'M DRIVING ON AN EMPTY ROAD. THIS HAS OCCURRED MULTIPLE TIMES AND CONCERNS ME THAT IT WILL EVENTUALLY ENACT EMERGENCY BRAKING. THIS OCCURS WHILE I'M IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET GOING STRAIGHT.
I RECENTLY GOT MY VEHICLE LESS THAN 2 MONTHS AGO AND MY CAR HAS BEEN JERKING, STALLING WHEN I TRY TO ACCELERATE AND MAKING A SOUND AS IF IT'S TRYING TO ACCELERATE BUT IT'S NOT CONNECTING
WHILE TRAVELING DOWN THE ROAD MY CAR SUDDENLY STOPPED GOING OVER 3,000 RPMS WHICH IN TURN MADE THE CAR SUDDENLY SLOW DOWN TO AN EXCESSIVELY LOW RATE OF SPEED, DURING RUSH HOUR ON A BUSY ROAD. I WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED WITH MY CHILDREN IN THE BACK SEAT. I WAS ABLE TO EVENTUALLY GET THE CAR OFF THE ROAD. THE DEALERSHIP ADVISED THAT THIS IS A COMMON CONCERN WITH NISSANS AND THAT IT WAS SOMETHING CALLED A CVT TRANSMISSION SYSTEM THAT HAD FAILED SUDDENLY WHILE DRIVING. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THIS CAN BE A COMMON PROBLEM FOR SOMEONE TO BE DRIVING AND RUN THE RISK OF WRECKING BECAUSE THE CAR FAILS TO KEEP MOVING PROPERLY.
The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle made abnormally loud sounds. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the lower control arm bushings and the front driver's side shocks were faulty. The lower control arm bushings and the front driver's side shocks needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that the VIN was not included in any recalls and that the suspension was not under warranty. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
ON 11/22/020 WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE 605 FREEWAY GOING ABOUT 65 MILES AN HOUR, MY VEHICLE CAME TO A SUDDEN AND UNEXPECTED STOP. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THE ANTI COLLISION SENSOR MALFUNCTIONED. THERE WERE NO VEHICLES IN FRONT OF ME AND THE DASHBOARD WARNING WAS INDICATING A MALFUNCTION ON THE EMERGENCY BREAKING SYSTEM. I HAVE REPORTED THE TWO PRIOR INCIDENTS TO NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND THEY HAVE STATED THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY VEHICE. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE ORIGINAL SENSOR AFTER THE VEHICLE MADE A SUDDEN STOP SIX MONTHS AFTER I FIRST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. THE SENSOR WARNING LIGHT WAS STILL AN ISSUE AFTER THE REPLACEMENT AND THE DEALERSHIP THEN FELT ADJUSTING THE SENSORS DISTANCE WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.. IT DID NOT... MY VEHICLE WAS ALMOST IN A COLLISION AS IT CAME TO ANOTHER SUDDEN AND UNEXPECTED STOP AFTER A FEW MONTHS AFTER WHILE I WAS MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN IN THE INTERSECTION. THE DEALERSHIP CONTACTED NISSAN AND WERE ADVISED TO STABILIZE THE SENSOR WITH A BRACKET. NONE OF THE METHODS NISSAN HAS USED RESOLVED THE SENSOR MALFUNCTION. NISSAN DEALERSHIP INSISTED THAT MY VEHICLE WAS SAFE TO DRIVE AND INSISTED THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE SENSOR MALFUNCTION. ON 11/22/2020 MY VEHICLE ALMOST CAUSED A REAR END COLLISION AS IT AGAIN MADE A SUDDEN AND UNEXPECTED STOP. THE DEALERSHIP FAILED TO TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION AND DESPITE ME HAVING A VIDEO AND PICTURES OF THE DASHBOARDS WARNING LIGHT ON. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE AND THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE ISSUE. I BELIEVE MY VEHICLE IS A HAZARD ON THE ROAD AND CAN POTENTIALLY CAUSE A SEVERE ACCIDENT DUE TO THE FAULTY EMERGENCY BREAKING SYSTEM. THE DEALERSHIPS ADVICE IS TO GET BACK IN MY CAR BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT DUPLICATE THE ISSUE, THEY ALSO DO NOT WANT TO SEE THE VIDEO OR THE PICTURE OF THE DASHBOARD WITH THE MALFUNCTION WARNING DISPLAY.
ON 11/21/2020 AT 5:30 PM, WE HAD A CAR CRASH ON A HIGHWAY I-495 (CAPITAL BELTWAY, MD), WE WERE IN OUR CAR (I, MY WIFE, 2 KIDS), WE NOTICED A SUDDEN STOP BY MANY CARS AHEAD OF US IN THE SAME LANE WE WERE IN (LEFT LANE), I PRESSED MY BRAKE AND BEEN ABLE TO AVOID REACHING THE CAR AHEAD OF ME BUT UNFORTUNATELY, THE CAR BEHIND ME WAS VERY FAST WITH NO CONTROL IN THEIR BRAKE THUS, SHE HIT MY CAR FROM THE REAR AND PUSHED ME TO HIT THE FRONT CAR. AFTER WE STOPPED, I WENT OUT TO NOTICE THAT 9 CARS WERE INVOLVED IN THE CRASH. ALTHOUGH IT WAS A BIG AND HARD ACCIDENT, MY CAR'S AIRBAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY, HOWEVER, IT DID OPEN IN MOST OF THE OTHER CARS. DUE TO THE NONDEPLOYMENT OF THE AIRBAG, WE HAD A LOT OF BODY PAINS, WHIPLASHES, AND MY SON WAS HIT IN HIS HEAD (I HAVE AN EMERGENCY INITIAL DIAGNOSTIC REPORT FROM THE HOSPITAL). IN ADDITION, MY CAR EXPERIENCED HUGE DAMAGES FROM BACK AND FRONT, AND EVENTUALLY, IT HAD BEEN TOTALLY UNFIXABLE ACCORDING TO THE INSPECTION FROM THE COLLISION TECHNICIAN. I HAD CONTACTED THE CAR MANUFACTURER (NISSAN) TO OPEN A CASE, BUT THEY DIDN'T CONSIDER THE RISK THAT WE EXPOSED BY NOT DEPLOYING THE AIRBAGS AND THEY IGNORE THAT THEY ARE HAVING ANY PROBLEMS REGARDING THIS ISSUE AND THEY JUSTIFIED THIS INCIDENT BY SAYING THAT AS LONG AS THE CAR BEEN HIT BY THE REAR THE AIRBAG WILL NOT BE DEPLOYED REGARDLESS OF THE HIT STRENGTH.
WHEN THE VEHICLE IS PUT IN DRIVE OR REVERSE THE WHOLE VEHICLE SHAKES TREMENDOUSLY AND IS VERY, VERY NOTICEABLE WHILE HOLDING THE BRAKE. ALSO WHEN I TURN ON THE AC THE WHOLE VEHICLE SHAKES.
OCS PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT THE DEALER I BOUGHT FROM IS STATING NO RECALL FOR MY VEHICLE HOWEVER, THE NHTSA IS STATING THAT THERE IS ONE
This vehicle was purchased at a Carmax dealership in October of 2020. During the test drive it was observed that when accelerating and slowing, the car would jolt back and forth. The dealer told us that was "just how hybrids drive". It has since been inspected by an EV certified mechanic and the jolting was actually due to a failing transmission. We purchased the car and continued to drive this dangerous vehicle for 9 months.
I have not had it checked by a certified mechanic, however I have a witness who drove my vehicle for 2 days experienced the same problem more than once. After driving the vehicle for a while, let's say 30 minutes, when I try to accelerate from a stopped position, when pressing on the gas pedal, it does not go. It doesn't stall, it just won't go as normal. I keep pumping the gas pedal and eventually it will go, and sometimes lurches forward. It is unsafe.

THE PANORAMIC MOONROOF ON MY CAR SPONTANEOUSLY SHATTERED WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON 10/8/2020. IT WAS ABOUT 2:00 PM ON I4 IN FLORIDA, AND DRIVING AT HIGHTWAY SPEEDS. THERE WERE NO OTHER VEHICLES NEAR ME AT THE TIME. NO ROCKS, OR OVERPASSES, ETC THAT COULD HAVE DROPPED A ROCK. IT IS THE LARGE, REAR PANEL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 NISSAN ROGUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, A SECOND VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. DURING THE CRASH, THE FRONT AND REAR DOOR SUSTAINED DAMAGE BUT THE SIDE CURTAIN AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED HEAD, BACK AND NECK INJURIES WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL TREATMENT. A POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN AT THE SCENE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TOWED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WAS NOT YET CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,000.
CAR SLOWS DOWN ON IT'S OWN WHEN DRIVING DOWN HILL OR THE STREET.
MY NISSAN ROGUE HAS LESS THAN 60,000 MILES AND WAS BOUGHT BRAND NEW IN 2017. THE PAST COUPLE OF MONTHS THE TRANSMISSION HAS STARTED TO FAIL. IT JERKS AND HAS TROUBLE ACCELERATING LIKE IF THE GEAR IS STUCK. MY CHECK ENGINE TURNED ON AND HAD A CODE P0776 ITS THE POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE FAILURE. I WAS DRIVING THE CAR NORMAL ON THE FREEWAY AND HAD TO STOP ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED THE CAR OFF AND WAITED FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES AND DROVE BACK HOME AND IT WAS BETTER BUT THE CHECK ENGINE WAS ON.THE NEXT DAY IT HAPPENED AGAIN STILL NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO TAKE TO DEALER BUT I DONT DRIVE IT AS MUCH NOW UNTIL IT GET CHECKED AT THE DEALER. I HAVE READ ABOUT NISSANS CVT TRANSMISSION ARE DEFECTIVE FROM FACTORY FROM SOME ARTICLES INHAVE READ.
WHILE DRIVING THE CAR, THE EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM WAS ACTIVATED WHILE NOTHING WAS IN FRONT OF THE CAR. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THIS IS HAPPENED TO ME, AND THE FIRST TIME THE PART WAS REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE DUE TO IT BEING UNDER MY WARRANTY. IN THIS SITUATION, THE PART IS NOT BEING REPLACED AND I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH NISSAN CORPORATE WHO REFUSED TO TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DEFECTIVE PART. THEY ALSO REFUSED TO REPLACE THE PART, STATING THAT IT IS OUTSIDE MY VEHICLES WARRANTY.
BOUGHT VEHICLE NEW IN 2017 AND FROM DAY 1 THE VEHICLE DOESN'T ACCELERATE FROM A FULL STOP. I STEP ON THE GAS AND THERE IS AT LEAST A 2 SECOND DELAY BEFORE THE VEHICLE MOVES. NOW, AT 77,000 MILES, THE VEHICLE STOPS AND JERKS FORWARD IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC. VEHICLE IS A DEATH TRAP
WE WERE DRIVING SMOOTHLY ON A 5N FREEWAY AND THE CAR SUDDENLY JOLTED AND STOPPED AT EXACTLY 48K MILES, NO SENSORS WERE LIGHTING UP.I HAVE TO HAZARD LIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY TURN OFF THE ENGINE AND TURN IT ON, SAME JOLTING MOVEMENT BUT LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO STEER IT SAFE AT ROADSIDE AND ASK FOR TOWING.
MY VEHICLE STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION AROUND 90,000 MILES. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THE ACCELERATION STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS. I TOOK INTO A NISSAN AND THEY TESTED THE VEHICLE AND LET ME KNOW THE TRANSMISSION FAILED. THE MODEL IS A NISSAN ROGUE AND IS A 2017 MODEL...
IN 2017 NISSAN ROGUE THERE IS CORROSION/RUST AT THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE LIFT GATE SUPPORT STRUT BRACKET AND VEHICLE BODY. THE REAR LIFT GATE STRUT PROVIDES POWER TO ASSIST REAR LIFT GATE MECHANISM AND OPERATES UNDER PRESSURE. IF THE INTERFACE IS INSUFFICIENT OR THE STRUCTURE IS COMPROMISED DUE TO RUST IT MAY CAUSE FAILURE OF THE LIFT MECHANISM. IT COULD RESULT IN INABILITY TO OPEN OR CLOSE THE LIFT GATE BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY RESULT IN BODILY INJURY. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH NISSAN TO REPORT THE ISSUE AND GUIDANCE TO REMEDY THE ISSUE. MY CLAIM WAS DENIED AS I WAS INFORMED BY NISSAN THAT THE RUST DESCRIBED ABOVE IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AS I AM 2 MONTHS AND 10,000 OUT OF COVERAGE.
MY CAR WOULDN'T BRAKE WITHOUT A DELAY I THOUGHT MY BRAKES WERE BROKE. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. NO TRAFFIC WAS IN THE WAY. I LEFT A VOICEMAIL WITH CARMAX TO LET THEM KNOW AND ASK FOR SERVICE AS I JUST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE 4 DAYS BEFORE. I'M WAITING FOR A CALL BACK.
THE REAR MIDDLE SEAT LAP BELT LOCKS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY, TO DISENGAGE THE LOCKING OF THE BELT, IT HAS TO BE TOTALLY DISCONNECTED FROM THE LOCKING MECHANISM AND TOTALLY RELEASED BACK TO NO PASSENGER POSITION FOR THE LOCK TO DISENGAGE. INCIDENT. I HAD A CHILD IN THE MIDDLE SEAT WITH BOOSTER SEAT WITH THE SEAT BELT ENGAGED. WHEN I REACHED MY DESTINATION I COULD NOT GET THE CHILD OUT OF THE SEAT BELT BECAUSE IT WAS LOCKED AND THERE WAS NO WAY TO RELEASE THE BELT FROM THE BUCKLE BECAUSE IT WAS LOCKED AND THE CHILD ALMOST SUFFOCATED BECAUSE I COULD RELEASE THE BELT. THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT AND NO REASON FOR THE BELT TO BECOME LOCKED. I HAD TO CUT THE SEAT BELT WITH A KNIFE TO RELEASE THE CHILD.
SENSOR FEB SYSTEM NISSAN ROGUE 2017 NOT WORKING
I BOUGHT MY 2017 NISSAN ROGUE SV WITH 4 MILES ON IT. ON JULY 12, 2020 AT 11:30 PM MY CAR'S TRANSMISSION WENT OUT. I LOST COMPLETE POWER ON THE BUSY KENNEDY EXPRESSWAY OUTSIDE OF CHICAGO WHILE DRIVING WITH 3 FRIENDS IN THE CAR. THE CAR BEGAN TO CHUG AND THE RPMS WERE BETWEEN 3 AND 4. I WAS UNABLE TO ACCELERATE AND EVENTUALLY THE CAR SLOWED TO A STOP ON THE SHOULDER. IF THIS HAD BEEN RUSH HOUR, WE COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY HURT. NISSAN SAYS BECAUSE MY CAR IS AT 72,000 OF MY 60,000 WARRANTY THEY WILL ONLY PAY FOR 50%. NISSAN TOLD ME THEY RECOMMENDED REBUILDING THE KIT INSTEAD OF REPLACING THE WHOLE TRANSMISSION BECAUSE IT WAS MORE COST EFFECTIVE FOR THEM. I SPOKE WITH NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS, WHO MADE ME WAIT 4 DAYS WHILE THEY "ESCALATED" IT ONLY TO COME BACK AND SAY THEY ONLY CAN APPROVE 50% OF THE COSTS. I HAVE DONE ALL NECESSARY MAINTENANCE TO VEHICLE AND THIS IS THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE HAD. TOO BAD ITS A HUGE PROBLEM. IF YOU GOOGLE CVT YOU WILL SEE THAT THE "EXPERIMENTAL" TRANSMISSION HAS FAILED IN MOST ROGUES LEADING UP TO AND INCLUDING THE 2016. NISSAN SAYS THERE IS NO RECALL OR EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR THE THE 2017 (YET). THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
STOPPED ON 95 N TO PAY TOLL. WHEN EXITING TOLL BOOTH , THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE TO NORMAL HIGHWAY SPEED CAUSING CARS TO ALMOST RUN INTO THE BACK OF THE CAR. WAS ONLY ABLE TO TRAVEL A FEW MILES BEFORE THE CAR WOULD NOT GO ANYMORE . THERE IS POWER TO THE VEHICLE , BUT THE ENGINE WON'T ENGAGE . HAD TO HAVE VEHICLE TOWED 40 MILES TO MY DESTINATION . IT IS STILL NOT OPERATIONAL .

I WILL STOP AT A RED LIGHT AND WHEN THE LIGHT TURNS GREEN, I GIVE IT GAS TO ACCELERATE AND IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. THE GAS PEDAL WILL GO STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR AND THE CAR DOESN'T MOVE. MY DASH STARTED TO ALARM WITH NO ACTIVE WARNINGS. THE SENSORS ALARMED ME TO BRAKE IN HEAVY TRAFFIC WHEN I WAS NOT CLOSE TO ANY VEHICLE. THE ALARM CONTINUED TO PEEP. I HAD TO PULL OFF HWY WITH MY CHILDREN. I TURNED OFF ENGINE. RESTARTED VEHICLE AND ALARM CONTINUED. I HAD TO PHYSICALLY TURN OFF SENSORS. NOT SAFE. *TR
Car stops accelerating when the engine get hot. It happens all the time. I was not made aware of any issues with the car when I purchase it . This apparently is a known issue and a teenager drives the car. Mechanic states the whole transmission needs to be replaced.
WHEN DRIVING BETWEEN SPEEDS OF 30-45 MPH THE VEHICLE WOULD SHAKE, AND THE RPMS WERE SHIFTING ERRATICALLY BETWEEN 2000-4000 OR MORE. THE ISSUE WOULD CORRECT WHEN MORE SPEED WAS ATTAINED, BUT WOULD RETURN. WHEN THE ACCELERATOR WAS DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESPOND IMMEDIATELY, HOWEVER THE RPMS WOULD INCREASE DRASTICALLY. WHEN ON THE HIGHWAY, USING CRUISE CONTROL AT 65 MPH, THE RPMS WOULD CHANGE DRASTICALLY AGAIN. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS IN A FULL STOP WHEN EXITING A HIGHWAY THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT MOVE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR WAS DEPRESSED TO REENTER TRAFFIC, THE RPMS IMMEDIATELY WENT ABOVE 6000 OR MORE, AND THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF UNEXPECTEDLY, WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN PLACED IN PARK, AND IGNITION TURNED OFF, AND TURNED BACK ON AGAIN. THE VEHICLE TURNED ON WITHOUT ISSUE, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. AGAIN, THE VEHICLE DID NOT RESPOND IMMEDIATELY TO THE ACCELERATOR BEING DEPRESSED, BUT DID BEGIN TO MOVE. THE VEHICLE IS SCHEDULED TO BE TOWED TO THE WEST HERR NISSAN IN ORCHARD PARK FOR REPAIRS. *TR
RPMS WERE MOVING UP AND DOWM WITH VEHICLE SLUGGISH HAPPENED ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE APRIL 20TH WAS NOT SURE IF I COULD MAKE IT TO NEAREST FACILITY OCCURS MORE OFTEN IN ECO MODE. NOT RESPONSIVE WHEN ACCELATOR WAS DEPRESSED. STALLED ENGINE AT LIGHTS AND LOSS OF POWER ON HIGHWAY. TRANSMISSION FAILURE REQUIRING REPLACEMENT
PANORAMIC SUNROOF EXPLODED AND SHATTERED TRAVELING DOWN A UNOCCUPIED COUNTY ROAD. ROAD WAS CLEAR, NO TREES, TRAFFIC, ON SUNNY DAY. REPORTED TO NISSAN USA WITH "ITS GLASS" ANSWER. CAR WAS BOUGHT NEW, NEVER WRECKED, UNDER COVER WHEN NOT DRIVEN. DRIVEN AROUND 50MPH. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 NISSAN ROGUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING ACTIVATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE AEB WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STOPPED ABRUPTLY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NISSAN OF SACRAMENTO (2820 AUBURN BLVD, SACRAMENTO, CA 95821), HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,000.
I WAS DRIVING AROUND 40 MPH ON A STRAIGHT CITY STREET APPROACHING A PART OF THE ROAD THAT DIPPED UNDER A BRIDGE. MY CAR'S EMERGENCY BREAKING ENGAGED SLOWING MY SPEED TO ABOUT 20 MPH BEFORE THE BREAKS RELEASED. LUCKILY THERE WAS NOBODY ELSE ON THE ROAD (BEHIND ME) AND I DID NOT PANIC. OTHERWISE, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A DANGEROUS SITUATION. GIVEN THAT NO ACCIDENT OCCURRED, I DO NOT HAVE PICTURES TO SHARE.
2017 NISSAN ROGUE WITH ONLY 62674 MILES NEEDED INNER TIE RODS REPLACED 4/1/2020 TIE RODS WERE ONLY AVAILABLE AS PART OF THE ENTIRE STEERING RACK ASSEMBLY AT A COST OF $1450 FROM NISSAN DEALERSHIP. WAS TOLD NO HELP WAS AVAILABLE FOR THE COST SINCE IT WAS OUTSIDE OF THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY LEARNED THAT MANY OF THE SAME PART HAVE BEEN REPLACED LOCALLY SOUNDED EXCESSIVE FOR AGE OF VEHICLE AND THE CRITICAL NATURE OF THE STEERING COMPONENTS
WHEN I FORGET TO PUT ON THE DRIVERS SEAT BELT THERE IS NOT ALARM OR WARNING. SINCE I BOUGHT THE CARE I NOTICED THIS. I HAVE READ THROUGH THE MANUAL AND CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHY THERE WOULD NOT BE A SOUND TO REMIND ME.
THE LAST 3 DAYS MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN MAKING SUDDEN STOPS ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE MAIN ROADS......NO VEHICLES AROUND FOR 4 OUT OF THE 5 ENGAGING OF THE BRAKING SYSTEM THE SENSORS ARE GOING CRAZY AND SLAMMING ON THE BRAKES THE LAST ONE I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY AND THERE WAS A SEMI BEHIND ME THAT SLAMMED ON BRAKES AND ALMOST CAUSED A MAJOR ACCIDENT.........DONT FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH MY FAMILY IN THIS ROGUE ANYMORE!!!!!
THE CVT TRANSMISSION IN THESE VEHICLES ARE HORRIBLE AND A HUGE SAFETY HAZARD. THE FIRST TIME I NOTICED THE VIOLENT SHAKING OF MY REAR SEATS I WAS ON THE HIGHWAYS DOING 50 MPH THE SEATS WHERE EMPTY AND I ASSUMED I NEEDED A ALIGNMENT ALTHOUGH MY TIRES WHERE NEW. HOWEVER IT HAS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE EVEN WITH MY CHILDREN WHO ARE BOTH OVER 100LBS SITTING IN THE CAR! BETWEEN THE VIOLENT SHAKING AND JERKING AND ALSO THE HESITANT WHEN ACCELERATING ESPECIALLY ON A HILL IT'S GOING TO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT POSSIBLY A FATALITY. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO NISSAN TO BE TOLD 'I'M SORRY YOU ARE OUT OF WARRANTY'.
My car brakes locked up for no reason as I was driving. I’ve called Nissan they did a “reset” on the braking system while I was under warranty. The car continues to flash malfunction and front radar disabled. My car beeps all the time on the road for zero reason. Now my cars warranty is out by a few miles and the refuse to fix it. This is a safety issue. I’m terrified of wrecking and they will not fix it without 1300.00. Called home office they won’t budge. This isn’t my fault the car has done this since I bought it. It’s not safe and I fear of causing a wreck when the brakes lock up again. They would rather me wreck than fix my car under the warranty. I have powers when they rest it when under the 60 days time frame but it didn’t fix the problem. Now I’m stuck with a huge bill on a car I bought to be safe in. Please help there needs to be a recall. After researching I see this is a common issue that Nissan refuses to fix. How many die before it’s corrected. This is a safety issue. Not a brush it off sort of problem. This could kill someone. Bought 01/2020 issues began 02-2020 and are still happening.
WHEN DRIVING AT A MODERATE SPEED THEN SLOWING DOWN IN TRAFFIC THAT IS SLOW AND STOP AND GO, ONCE I COME TO A COMPLETE STOP AND GET READY TO GO AGAIN THE CAR HESITATES TO TAKE OFF. THE ENGINE SOUNDS LIKE A TRUCK AND DOES NOT GO ABOVE 25MPH WITH THE GAS PEDAL TO THE FLOOR. THE LIGHTS THAT APPEAR ON THE DASH IS THE SAFETY CRASH AND WARNING LIGHTS. I THEN HAVE TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE TURN THE CAR OFF AND TURN IT BACK ON AGAIN FOR IT TO GO BACK TO NORMAL. THIS HAPPENS 1-2 TIMES A WEEK. I AFRAID THIS GOING TO CAUSE A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT. I HAVE REPORTED IT TO SHERIDAN NISSAN THREE TIMES. THEY ARE SAYING NOTHING IS WRONG.
CVT - TRANSMISSION ISSUES - CAR HAS 87K MILES AND TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING, JERKING, REVS BUT NO POWER, CHANGED TRANSMISSION FLUID AND FILTERS WITH NISSAN PARTS AND STILL SAME ISSUES. CAR STOPPED ACCELERATING ON THE HIGHWAY CAUSING IMMEDIATE DANGER FOR DRIVER AND OCCUPANTS. DRIVING ON SURFACE STREET AT STOP LIGHT, CAR WILL REV UP TO 4 BUT NOT MOVE FOR MULTIPLE SECONDS AND THEN LUNGES FORWARD.
OUR 2017 NISSAN ROGUE SV WAS PARKED, COMPLETELY TURNED OFF IN OUR DRIVEWAY WHEN A NEIGHBOR WITNESSED SPARKS START TO SHOOT FROM UNDER THE HOOD. WITHIN MINUTES THE ENTIRE CAR WAS IN FLAMES, IT WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED. IT TOOK 5 MINUTES FOR THE FIRE TO BE PUT OUT.*DT *TP

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM INDEPENDENTLY ACTIVATED, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO ABRUPTLY STOP EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO OTHER VEHICLE NEARBY. ADDITIONALLY, THE VEHICLE WOULD RANDOMLY SHUT-OFF WHILE DRIVING, WITHOUT WARNING. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WERE NOT YET DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER CROWN NISSAN LOCATED AT 3900 W. WENDOVER AVE, GREENSBORO, NC 27407 AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM ABRUPTLY ENGAGES THE BRAKES WHEN THERE ARE NO OBJECTS IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THIS HAS OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON CITY STREETS.
THE TRANSMISSION IS FAULTY AND WHEN DRIVING IN THE FREEWAY OR EVEN THE STREETS I WOULD NOTICE THAT THE CAR STARTS TO JERK BACK AND FORTH. SECONDLY I BELIEVE IT UNSAFE WHENEVER TURNING AT HIGH SPEEDS THE CAR FEELS AS IF IT CAN TIP OVER. WITHIN MY FIRST MONTH OF PURCHASING THE CAR THERE WAS TONS OF ENGINE PROBLEMS.

THE WINDSHIELD HAS A DEFECT IN IT. AT NIGHT WHEN PASSING OTHER VEHICLES WHEN THEIR HEADLIGHTS HIT THE WINDSHIELD LOOKS LIKE 1000'S OF SPECKS THUS OBSTRUCTING VISION. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE USED IN 2018 THIS VEHICLE TO MY KNOWLEDGE HADN'T BEEN INVOLVED IN ANY WRECKS TO HAVE CAUSED THIS.
AT HIGH SPEEDS THE BACK SEAT MAKES NOISE AND SHAKES AS IF UTS NOT BOLTED DOWN CORRECTLY. SPEEDS OVER 50 IS WHEN IT'S MOSTLY NOTICED. IT ALSO HAPPENS SOMETIMES WHEN THE CAR IS IDLING.
