TOOK MY CAR IN FOR OIL CHANGE AND THE DIP STICK PLASTIC TOP BROKE OFF. FORTUNATELY THE MECHANICS MANAGED TO USE SOME GLUE TYPE PRODUCT TO THE SICK AND RETRIEVE IT. THEY HAVE ORDERED A NEW DIP STICK FOR ME AT NO COST, BUT OBVIOUSLY, ON READING YOUR SITE THIS IS A NISSAN PROBLEM AND THE GARAGE THAT CHANGED MY OIL SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE OIL STICK. A RECALL AND DIFFERENT MATERIAL SHOULD BE USED INSTEAD OF PLASTIC WHICH GOES BRITTLE WITH HEAT OF ENGINE. *TR
2ND TIME SINCE OWNING THE CAR THAT MY DIPSTICK HAS BROKEN OFF IN THE OIL TUBE. I NOW MUST EITHER PAY $150 TO GET IT REMOVED OR TRY AND FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO TO GET IT OUT. *TR
THE DIPSTICK ON MY NISSAN SENTRA HAD A PLASTIC HEAD. TWICE, THE DIPSTICK HAS BEEN BROKEN BY A SERVICEMAN CHANGING THE OIL. HE SIMPLE PULLS IT OUT AND THE PLASTIC HEAD COMES OFF, LEAVING THE STICK IN THE TUBE. NISSAN CHARGED ME $168 DOLLARS FOUR YEARS AGO TO REPLACE THE TUBE AND DIPSTICK. NOW IT HAS HAPPENED AGAIN. THE HEAT IS TOO MUCH FOR THE PLASTIC, MAKING IT BRITTLE. BECAUSE THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE, AND I'VE READ OF HUNDREDS OF SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ON CONSUMER WEBSITES, THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL ITEM. *TR
HI , I HAVE A 2002 NISSAN SENTRA SER , THIS CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH A QR25DE ENGINE , THE PISTON RINGS CAME DEFECTIVE FROM FACTORY , NISSAN DOESN'T ASSUME THEIR RESPONSIBILITY , BUT THEY SELL IMPROVE PISTON RINGS FOR THIS TYPE OF ENGINE ... ENGINE OIL DISAPPEAR WITH STOCK PISTON RINGS, CAR DOESN'T HAVE ANY LEAK .... MACHINE SHOPS KNOW THIS PROBLEM ... CONSEQUENCE OF THIS MATTER IS THAT PEOPLE BRAKES CONNECTING RODS , CYLINDERS HAVE UNEVEN WASTE ... NISSAN ONLY GIVE 60K MILES WARRANTY ON POWER TRAIN , BUT BEFORE THAT I NOTIFY THEM ABOUT THIS PROBLEM , THEY SAID THAT "WAS CYLINDER HEAD". 1) CAR WAS PARKED IN DRIVEWAY WHILE GONE FOR THE WEEKEND. CAR WAS DRIVEN AS RECENTLY AS THE FRIDAY PRIOR TO THE START OF THE WEEKEND. THE CAR WAS TO BE DRIVEN FOR GROCERIES SUNDAY NIGHT, HOWEVER WHEN THE CAR STARTED, GAS SPRAYED FROM BELOW THE CAR UNTIL THE TANK WAS EMPTY. UPON EXITING THE CAR, THE DRIVEWAY WAS COVERED IN GASOLINE. CAR WAS THEN TURNED OFF. 2) SECOND OCCURRENCES OF THIS FAILURE. FIRST OCCURRENCE WAS 3 MONTHS PRIOR. 3) AFTER FIRST OCCURRENCE, CAR WAS TOWED TO LOCAL MECHANIC. FAULT WAS ATTRIBUTED TO SMALL ANIMAL CHEWING ON FUEL LINE AND ENTERING GAS TANK (FOUND DEAD IN TANK). FOR SECOND OCCURRENCE, CAR WILL BE TOWED TO DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR. *TR
1. CAR OVERHEATED FIRST NIGHT IT WAS BOUGHT NEW ZERO MILES. DEALERSHIP FIXED A STUCK THERMOSTAT. (CAR SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHECKED BEFORE IT WAS SOLD TO THE CUSTOMER!) THIS MAY HAVE FOREVER DAMAGED THIS CAR. 2. 59,000 MILES - CAR BLOWS HEAD GASKET. FIXED BY DEALERSHIP. 3. ~60,000 MILES - CAR RUNNING ROUGH BECAUSE THE SPARK PLUG SLEEVE WAS NOT PUT IN CORRECTLY AFTER HEAD GASKET WAS REPLACED AT THE DEALERSHIP LEADING TO A PRESSURE LEAK IN A CYLINDER. THIS MISS SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOUND BY THE DEALERSHIPS MECHANIC BEFORE RELEASING THE CAR BACK TO THE CUSTOMER. FIXED BY DEALERSHIP. 4. ~119,000 MILES - CAR BLOWS SECOND HEAD GASKET. DEALERSHIP AND NISSAN BOTH SAY THEY WONT HELP PAY BECAUSE THE CAR HAS TOO MANY MILES ON IT. 5. CAR IS CURRENTLY AT DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY ARE REPAIRING THE HEAD GASKET AT MY EXPENSE OF 2,000 DOLLARS PLUS I WON'T HAVE A CAR FOR OVER A WEEK. I ASKED IF I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER 2,000 DOLLARS IN 60,000 MILES FOR ANOTHER HEAD GASKET BECAUSE OF THIS DEFECTIVE ENGINE. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A POSSIBILITY. I DID A GOOGLE SEARCH ON THIS MODEL NISSAN SENTRA AND FOUND THIS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE. WE EVEN PURCHASED A WARRANTY THAT IS GOOD FOR 100,000 MILES OR TILL 2009, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. WE ARE JUST BARELY OUT OF THAT WARRANTY WHICH WE SPENT EXTRA MONEY ON. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 NISSAN SENTRA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED INTERMITTENTLY. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURES WERE IDENTICAL TO THOSE MENTIONED IN THE RECALL; HOWEVER, HER VIN WAS EXCLUDED. THE VIN AND NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER WERE UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 40,000.

THE FAILURE OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE DEALER STATED THAT A NEW RPM WAS NEEDED INSTEAD OF REPROGRAMMING THE CURRENT ONE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.

THROUGH ONLINE RESEARCH, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED NUMEROUS RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE WITH THE SAME FAILURE THAT HE WAS EXPERIENCING. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT HIS VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY OF THE RECALLS; THEREFORE, THE CONTACT WOULD NOT BE REIMBURSED FOR ANY OF THE REPAIRS RELATED TO THOSE RECALLS. THE CONTACT FEELS THAT HIS VEHICLE SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE RECALLS SINCE HE IS EXPERIENCING THE SAME FAILURES. THE VIN AND RECALL NUMBERS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 71,000.
I OWN A 2002 NISSAN SENTRA AND AT A ROUTINE OIL CHANGE I WAS INFORMED THAT THE PLASTIC HANDLE ON MY OIL DIPSTICK BROKE OFF AND THE DIPSTICK IS STUCK DOWN IN THE TUBE. THE DEALER WANTS $350 TO REMOVE IT. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM AND THAT IT COULD CAUSE MORE SERIOUS PROBLEMS. *TR

HI, MY NAME IS [XXX] . I HAVE A COMPLAINT/RECOMMENDATION ABOUT THE MANNER IN WHICH A VEHICLE RECALL IS BEING HANDLED/PERFORMED. I AM THE OWNER OF A 2002 NISSAN SENTRA SE-R SPEC V. THIS VEHICLE HAS/HAD A RECALL IN PLACE TO FIX A CONDITION THAT WOULD LEAD TO UNREPAIRABLE ENGINE FAILURE. THE CONDITION YOU MAY BE AWARE OF AS A PRE-CAT (CATALYTIC CONVERTER LOCATED ON THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD IN ADDITION TO THE MAIN ONE) FAILURE CONDITION. BASICALLY UNBURNED FUEL IS BURNED IN THE PRE-CAT RESULTING IN ITS DISINTEGRATION. IT IS THEN SUCKED INTO THE ENGINE CAUSING CYLINDER WALL DAMAGE. THIS CONDITION RESULTS IN THE ENGINE BURNING EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF OIL, A FURTHER DEGRADE IN COMPRESSION OVER TIME AND OVERALL ENGINE FAILURE BEFORE IT SHOULD EXPIRE UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS. THIS SITUATION HAPPENED TO ME AND I WAS NOTIFIED IN ANY MANOR AT ANY TIME ABOUT ANY RECALL EVEN DURING SERVICE FOR THE RECALLED ITEM. THIS REPAIR WAS IN EXCESS OF A THOUSAND DOLLARS. AT WHICH TIME I WAS TOLD NOTHING ABOUT THE PARTICLES BEING SUCKED INTO MY ENGINE CAUSING MY THE ENGINE WEAR WHICH CAUSED THE OIL CONDITION. AT THE VERY LEAST I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE RECALL AT THE TIME OF REPAIR AND OF MY OIL BEING CONTAMINATED. INSTEAD I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE FINE TO DRIVE 100+ MILES TO MY LOCAL NISSAN DEALERSHIP. THE VEHICLE STILL HAS NOT PASSED EMISSIONS. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 153,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 NISSAN SENTRA. WHEN THE CONTACT PURCHASED THE VEHICLE, HE HAD THE OIL CONSUMPTION OF THE FUEL SYSTEM INSPECTED. THE MECHANIC INFORMED HIM THAT THE VEHICLE WAS BURNING LARGE AMOUNTS OF OIL, CAUSING THE PISTON RINGS TO WEAR DOWN. HE WAS ALSO INFORMED OF A RECALL WITH THIS IDENTICAL FAILURE, WHICH STATED THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO REPLACE THE PARTS AS WELL AS INSTALL A CATALYST. THE CONTACT CALLED THE DEALER TO SEE IF HE COULD HAVE THIS REPAIRED UNDER THE RECALL, BUT THEY STATED THAT HIS VIN WAS EXCLUDED FROM THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 131,000. THE ECM WAS REPLACED AND THE FAILURE WAS CORRECTED FOR TWO WEEKS. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY BEING DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER. THE CRANKSHAFT ALSO NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THERE IS AN EXCESSIVE OIL AND ANTIFREEZE LEAK THAT COULD ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FAILURE. THE POWERTRAIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 114,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 112,000.
I BOUGHT A 2002 NISSAN SENTRA SE-R WITH APPROXIMATELY 70K MILES ON IT. AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING FINE, HOWEVER, AT APPROXIMATELY 72K MILES IT STARTED BURNING OIL AND I HAD TO PUT OIL IN THE ENGINE ONCE A WEEK. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP WERE THEY REPLACED THE CATALYTIC CONVERTED DUE TO A RECALL, BUT DID NOT STATE THAT THE ENGINE WAS DAMAGED TO THAT DEFECTIVE PART. I ASKED ABOUT AN ENGINE RECALL BUT NEVER RECEIVED AN ANSWER FROM THEM AS THEY SAID THE CAR WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY AND HAD NO WARRANTS UNDER RECALL. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS EXPERIENCING INCREASED OIL CONSUMPTION, EXCESSIVE SMOKING, AND MADE A KNOCKING SOUND. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 64,439.
2002 NISSAN SENTRA HAS A STALLING PROBLEM FOLLOWED BY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. *NJ THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED A RECALL EXISTED FOR THE STALLING HE EXPERIENCED. MY VEHICLE WOULD CUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. I TOOK IT TO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE RECALLS R3022 (CRANK POSITION SENSOR) AND THE INSIDE LINING OF THE ECM BOX REMOVED. BECAUSE OF THE DAMAGE DONE TO THE ECM BOX FROM THE LINING BY ECM BOX HAS TO BE UNJUSTLY FIXED AT MY OWN EXPENSE. *TR

THE DEALER ADVISED HIM TO ADD MORE OIL IN THE VEHICLE. THE OIL LEAKAGE BECAME A PERSISTENT ISSUE. ONE YEAR LATER, WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, HE HEARD A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE HOOD ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. THE VEHICLE STALLED AND WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE PISTON RINGS, HEAD JOB, AND CRANKSHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 180,000.
THE OXYGEN SENSORS IN MY 2002 NISSAN ALTIMA COMPLETELY BROKEN AWAY FROM THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER. (NOT AT THE BOLT, BUT AT THE WELDED OR FUSED END) THIS IS ALLOWING EXHAUST FUMES TO FILL THE INSIDE OF THE CAB OF THE AUTOMOBILE CAR. *TR
OIL DIP STICK BROKE ON 2002 NISSAN SENTRA. WITH ONLY ABOUT 60,000 MILES ON THE NISSAN SENTRA, THE PLASTIC OIL DIP STICK BROKE OFF INSIDE THE TUBE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A NISSAN DEALER FOR REPAIRS AT A AN OUT OUTRAGEOUS COST OF $380.63. CHECKING THE INTERNET, I FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. IT SURELY APPEARS TO BE A DESIGN FLAW WITH THE DIP STICK AND NISSAN SHOULD INITIATE A RECALL TO REPLACE EXISTING OIL STICKS MADE OF PLASTIC. ADDITIONAL, NISSAN SHOULD REIMBURSE THE OWNERS WHO HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR THIS REPAIR. *TR
2008 SAFETY RECALL FOR FAULTY ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE. 2002 NISSAN SENTRA HAD A STALLING PROBLEM. THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER IN THE MAIL REGARDING A STALLING PROBLEM. THE CONSUMER CONTACTED NISSAN AND STATED HE WAS ABOUT TO TRADE THE VEHICLE IN DUE TO THE STALLING ISSUE. THE CONSUMER WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET THE RECALL TAKEN CARE OF AND OTHER WORK DONE AS REQUESTED BY NISSAN. HOWEVER A FEW WEEKS LATER, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO STALL AGAIN. THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD TO PROVIDED PROOF OF THE REPAIRS, HE WOULD BE REIMBURSED. NISSAN DENIED REIMBURSEMENT BECAUSE ONLY REPROGRAMMING WAS COVERED WAS COVERED BY THE RECALL, NOT REPLACEMENT. *JB
MY CAR STALLED OUT ON ROAD TWICE. THE MIL CAME ON; ECM FAILED. NISSAN OF UNION CITY, GA, DIAGNOSED ECM FAILURE; SAID NEEDED REPLACEMENT. I THEN FOUND THERE IS A RECALL CONCERNING "SULFUR" THAT COULD CAUSE CORROSION OF ECM; NISSAN NEVER NOTIFIED ME OF SUCH. THEY TOLD ME THEY'D PERFORM THE FOAM AND CRANK SENSOR RECALLS; THEY DIDN'T AS FOUND OUT LATER. ADVISOR TOLD ME THAT THE ECM REPLACEMENT WOULD BE COVERED IF THERE WAS BURNING OR MELTING OF THE FOAM AROUND ECM. I ARGUED THAT "BURNING OR MELTING" IS NOT REQUIRED FOR ECM FAILURE SINCE RECALL STATED FAILURES WERE CAUSED BY FOAM RELEASING SULFUR GAS DURING CURING. I CONTACTED NISSAN NA AND TOLD THEM MY ARGUMENT THAT NISSAN SHOULD COVER THE ECM COST SINCE THEY NEVER NOTIFIED ME OF THE RECALL AND THAT THE DEALERS EXPLANATION FOR ECM FAILURE DIDN'T MAKE SENSE ACCORDING TO RECALL. IF THE ECM'S FAIL DUE TO SULFUR OUT GASSING DURING CURING, HE CANNOT HE SAY FAILURE OF THE ECM WAS NOT DUE TO THE RECALL DUE TO LACK OF BURNING OR MELTING OF THE FOAM. AFTER MUCH DELAY, NISSAN NA FINALLY TOLD ME ABOUT 16 DAYS LATER THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO COVER COST OF ECM REPLACEMENT BECAUSE DEALER SAID THE ECM FAILURE WAS DUE TO AGE AND MILEAGE. THIS IS NOT LOGICAL. I REPLACED ECM. WHEN I TOOK APART MY ECM BOX, I NOTICED THEY ONLY TOOK THE FOAM FROM ABOVE THE ECM AND NOT FOAM BELOW ECM AND VIDEO TAPED. RECALL CALLS FOR TAKING OUT BOTH FOAMS FROM ECM BOX. IT'S OBVIOUS THEY NEVER TOOK OUT ECM TO INSPECT TO SAY "THERE IS NO BURNING OR MELTING". THEY FAILED TO PROPERLY PERFORM THE RECALL. I CONTACTED NISSAN NA ABOUT THIS FAILURE, BUT THEY SAID MY CASE WAS CLOSED. JUST TODAY, MY CAR STALLED OUT AGAIN AFTER NEW ECM, AND IT HAD AN ERROR CODE FOR A CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR MALFUNCTION. THEY CLAIM TO HAVE PERFORMED THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR RECALL. BUT CRANKSHAFT SENSOR IN MY CAR LOOKS AS OLD AS CAR. I BELIEVE THEY DIDN'T PERFORM THAT RECALL AS WELL. I THINK NISSAN IS USING FOAM RECALL TO COVER UP BAD ECM'S FROM 2000-2003 AND MAKE MONEY. *JB
THE DIPSTICK CAP ON MY 2002 NISSAN SENTRA GXE IS PLASTIC. DUE TO THIS AND THE NORMAL HEATING AND COOLING OF THE ENGINE, IT HAS BROKEN AWAY FROM THE DIPSTICK AND THE DIPSTICK IS STUCK DOWN IN THE DIPSTICK TUBE. ON AUGUST 14, 2007 AT 5:35 PM I WAS DRIVING NORTH ON SPARTA AVENUE IN A 2002 NISSAN SENTRA. I WAS TRAVELING AT AN ESTIMATED 35 MILES PER HOUR. A JEEP CHEROKEE ON PINE TERRACE FAILED TO YIELD TO AT A STOP SIGN AND PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF MY CAR WHILE ATTEMPTING TO TURN LEFT ONTO SPARTA AVENUE CAUSING A COLLISION. THE COLLISION RESULTED IN EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END OF MY CAR THAT WAS IRREPARABLE; HOWEVER, MY AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. *JB

2002 NISSAN SENTRA SE-R WE OWN HAS BEEN GIVING US A RE-OCCURRING PROBLEM WITH BOTH THE UNIFIED METER THAT CONTROLS THE SPEEDOMETER AND AFFECTS THE ECM TO THROW UP THE ENGINE LIGHT TO COME ON..CAUSES A MASSIVE SLOW DOWN IN SPEED WHEN THE SPEEDOMETER GOES OUT WHILE DRIVING..BROUGHT THIS TO THE ATTENTION TO A LOCAL NISSAN DEALER, MIKE SHAD OF ORANGE PARK AND WAS INFORMED NOT TO WORRY ABOUT THE ENGINE LIGHT AND JUST HAVE THE ECM "REFLASHED". WE FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE SERVICE CENTER OF MIKE SHAD NISSAN AND HAD THE SYSTEM REFLASHED..SPEEDOMETER WORKED BRIEFLY AND WENT OUT AGAIN..TO THIS DAY IT CONTINUES TO STAY ON "ENGINE LIGHT", AND THE SPEEDOMETER STILL WORKS OFF AND ON AND CONTINUES TO WREAK HAVOC ON MAINTAINING A SAFE SPEED. ALSO A MAJOR ISSUE REGARDING THE "LONG ENGINE CRANK TIME BEFORE ENGINE STARTS". I HAVE FOUND INFORMATION THRU THE INTERNET INFORMING THERE IS A TSB ON THIS ISSUE ON THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE ('02 SENTRA) AND HAVE SUBMITTED AN EMAIL TO THE SERVICE DEPT OF MIKE SHAD NISSAN TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE BUT NO RESPONSE. THIS PROBLEM WITH THE CRANK TIME ENDANGERS NOT ONLY ME BUT MY FAMILY AS WELL. I CANNOT TRUST THE CAR TO CRANK PROPERLY WHICH THEREFORE PUTS THE RELIABILITY FACTOR IN JEOPARDY WHEN MY WIFE DRIVES THE CAR TO PICK UP MY DAUGHTER FOR SCHOOL AND USE THE VEHICLE TO AND FROM WORK. 2002 NISSAN SENTRA WITH A RECALL ON THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: IGNITION MODULE FAILURE CUSTOMER STATES THAT HE IS ENTITLED TO A REFUND FOR THE COST OF REPLACING THE ECM AND RELAY**CC THE CONSUMER STATED THE ENGINE KEPT STALLING WHILE IN OPERATION. THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TOOK THE DEALERSHIP, THEY REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR, BATTERY, FRONT BRAKE PADS AND RESURFACED THE ROTORS, HOWEVER 4 DAYS LATER THE ENGINE STALLED AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO THE DEALER AND THAT WAS WHEN THE ECM AND RELAY WAS DETERMINED AS BEING FAULTY. I PURCHASED MY CAR IN OCT 2006. IN DEC 2006 I WAS LEAVING MY BROTHERS AND MY CAR WOULD NOT START. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAD CAME ON EARLIER IN THE DAY. I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO NISSAN AT THE AVENUES, AFTER DOING A DIAGNOSTIC TEST ON IT THEY TOLD ME THE ECM WAS NO GOOD AND WAS COVERED UNDER RECALL. THE NEXT DAY THE DEALERSHIP CALLED ME BACK AND SAID NISSAN WOULD NOT PAY FOR THE ECM BUT IT WOULD PAY FOR THE 3 SENSORS THAT WERE ON RECALL. THE REASON IT WOULD NOT PAY FOR THE ECM IS BECAUSE I BOUGHT THE CAR USED AND IT HAD OVER 80,000 MILES ON IT.
