NHTSA Owner Complaint Log
This page lists owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA for the 2015 Nissan Sentra. Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA and do not by themselves prove a defect or defect rate.
The transmission quit working in rush our traffic in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident nearly caused a severe accident, if it hadn't been for two alert drivers during rush hour. After sitting for approximate sixty minutes waiting for a tow truck. Just before the the tow truck arrive another tow driver was going to pick up another vehicle "he stop to help." The tow driver was going to tow the vehicle. He was testing to see what the problem. As he started the vehicle he put it in drive and nothing happen. After a few minutes it jump in gear. The vehicle was driven home with loosing power, surging, and RPM going up without acceleration. This happen in late November. The car continued to jerk, stall, and loose power over long trips. The car was taken to the dealership but they could do nothing until they put a device on it to read codes. This was completed December 20, 2021, I was notified to drive the vehicle for several days up to a week and bring it back to them. The vehicle was picked up and drove per dealership instruction. The car was returned after Christmas. The tech perform a TCM update. They tested and drove the vehicle with myself in the car. The manager concluded the car had transmission problems that pointed to the transmission but it would not reveal a code. Until they get a code or approval from Nissan there was nothing they could. On about January 28, 2022, I was instructed to pick up the car. Also, I was instructed the car was unsafe to drive. It was bitter cold (12 degree) fifteen minutes into the drive home the service manger call (note after hours). The vehicle stalled/loss power and a multiple of problems. Approximately twenty miles away the vehicle caused an accident in which I suffer frostbite and damaged to my left hip. With the assistant of the State Trooper I was safe until the tow truck from D and K arrived. The vehicle was towed back to the dealership and remain until present date, [XXX]. The contact's wife owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while the vehicle was stationary, the steering wheel was loose and unable to lock into position. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact called the local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
For a while now it jerks or pulls, and it only goes up to 1-2 gears like it doesn't want to accelerate. It doesn't shift gear properly more like transmission issues. There is no power.
I'm driving my car on the freeway and it's stalls. I barely made it to the shoulder. I waited a few minutes and drove again. Went a few miles, and again, it stalled. I made it to a safe place. Had my car towed to a mechanic. They said it was the CVT transmission.
The component which has failed is the CVT Transmission. It can be available and has been inspected upon request. The safety is for myself, my son, and other drivers on the roads because the transmission could cause hesitation as it did previoiusly without warning while in operation causing a possible collision. The problem has been confirmed by the manufacturer. The component has been inspected by the delaer on behalf of the manufacturer. There were no warning lamps this time because the dealer stated the code found during the diagnostic check indicates the transmission is not communicating with the vehicle computer so that the warning lamp would indicate there is a problem. The transmission was replaced February 2021. However, after only being driven 21, 263 miles this transmission is malfunctioning and is defective.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that on several occasions while stopped at a traffic light, the vehicle unintendedly accelerated. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the failure might have been caused by an Oxygen sensor failure. The Oxygen sensor was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 65,000.
The airbag sensor fails to register the weight of a grown adult in the passenger seat. I have brought my car into a Nissan dealership to get this issue checked out, but I was told that there is no issue. I first noticed this issue approximately 5 years ago and has occasionally occured since. If the airbag sensor does not light up when there is a passenger (who is over 100 lbs and over 13 y/o) and does not deploy the airbag in the event of an accident, the passenger of my car could be seriously injured or killed.
DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT, BILLS PAID, WORK COMPLETED AND INFORMATION IS ATTACHED TO THIS DOCUMENT. [XXX] INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
Transmission malfunction. The car will reduced speed putting me on risk of getting hit in the back and someone colliding with me due the reduction of speed and the slowness of the car to start to gain speed. There was some jerking as gas pedal was pressed down and will slow down and then gain speed before it completely slow down to the point it will not go beyond 40 miles per hour. The car was inspected by the Nissan dealership where the car was bought and transmission is failing internally according to their findings. The vehicle has only been inspected by the dealership. There were no warning/message prior to this problem.
On Saturday, 25 SEP 2021, my wife and I departed San Clemente, CA, at 3:30 AM enroute to Idaho Falls, ID. We were driving my son and daughter-in-law’s 2015 Nissan Sentra with approximately 62,000 miles on the odometer. The car contained my wife and me along with 2 suitcases. At approximately 5:00 AM we approached the Cajun Pass, heading north on I15 North, going 70mph with the cruise control engaged. The crest of Cajun pass is approximately 3800 ft and the base of the pass is approximately 1100 ft, thus a rise of 2700 feet in a relatively short distance. As the 2015 Nissan Sentra began to ascend the Cajun Pass, the engine RPMs raised to 3700 RPM, but then the cruise control disengaged and the car lost power. I merged to the right into the Truck Lane and could only go 30-35 mph. Additionally, the engine RPMs would oscillate between 3700-3900, even though my foot maintained a steady pressure on the gas pedal. After we reached the top of Cajun Pass, I15 North actually descends and the2015 Nissan Sentra could then again be driven at 70-75 mph. For the remainder of trip on I15 North from Cajun Pass to Idaho Falls, there are approximately 10 steep grades where Trucking Lanes are provided. In each and every of those cases, the 2015 Nissan Sentra exhibited the exact symptoms it exhibited on Cajun Pass – the car lost power, could only be driven at 30-35 mph, and the engine RPMs oscillated between 3700-3900 RPM, even though the speed was constant and the gas pedal was depressed with the same pressure. There are literally dozens of additional hills between Cajun Pass and Idaho Falls on I15 North where the grade was not steep enough to warrant a Truck Lane, but there is still a considerable hill. In each and every one of those hills, the 2015 Nissan Sentra was only able to achieve a speed of 50-55 mph, even though the posted speed limit is generally 75 or 80mph. The car was unsafe to drive because most cars on I15 North are going 80-85 mph, which is 30-35 mph faster
The 2015 Nissan Sentra SV has issues with stalling during driving, not accelerating over a certain MPR but RPM continues to get higher, and the car seeming to jerk when in drive. The transmission seems to slip. There are no indicators for check engine that has came on prior to these events taking place. Very unsafe driving on the highway when these situations occur. Has had multiple diagnostics done and nothing has been solved.
Was in a car accident and totaled the car, however the air bags never deployed.
My check engine light keeps coming on and off and I fixed the so called problem already
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while his wife was driving 30 MPH, the driver’s side door inadvertently opened. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact's wife veered to the side of the road, locked the driver's side door, and continued to drive the vehicle. The contact also stated that the driver’s side door would not totally latch upon closing. Additionally, the door handles were fractured, preventing them from easily accessing the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the door handles needed to be replaced. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V453000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages). The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance because the vehicle was not included in the recall. The manufacturer opened a case. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 42,000.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle would shudder after accelerating and stalled. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who performed a transmission flush and replaced the fluid filters. However, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic and diagnosed as transmission failure. The dealer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that there was no recall related to the failure and to take the vehicle in for diagnosis. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that there was no recall related to the failure and referred the contact to take the vehicle to a dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that the vehicle would hesitate upon depression of the accelerator pedal as the check engine warning light would illuminate on the instrument panel. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic and had the air flow sensor replaced but soon after repair, the failure returned. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact had taken the vehicle to another independent mechanic however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 78,000.
After getting my transmission serviced, my car started jerking often and lagging on speed from 0-35. Once hitting 40 mph, it would create a loud rev up and a rough kick back. It has stalled out and started up numerous times while sitting in freeway traffic and traffic light controlled intersections to the point that I had to move it and park somewhere safe for 10 mins for it to restart then stall out again a few mins later down the road.
When I am pulling out into traffic or any stop and go, I press the gas pedal and sporadically there is a hesitation with the car acceleration. At times I am crossing a lane and traffic is coming and my car hesitated. Very scary thinking I may get t boned.
I GOT IT CHECK BY MECHANIC AND THE TRANSMISSION IS GOING, CAR IS MAKING NOISE, IS JUMPING AND ONLY HAS 90,000 MILES I BOUGHT IT WITH 37,000 ON 2016 I THINK IS TOO SOON FOR THE TRANSMISSION TO BRAKE. IS THERE ANY HELP FROM NISSAN TO GET MY CAR FIX
CVT TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. VEHICLE WAS JERKING, WOULD CHANGE SHIFTS, DIDN'T WANT TO GO OVER 20 AND THEN COULDN'T GET IT TO RUN. CAR TURNED OFF ON ITS OWN AT A LIGHT. THIS HAPPENED ON THE FREEWAY PUTTING IN DANGER SINCE DROPPED SPEED AND HAD HARD TIME GOING UP BRIDGES. THEN IT DID IT IN CITY LIMITS. STOP SIGNS AND AT LIGHTS.
UNKNOWN TOTAL TRANSMISSION FAILURE - NEW TRANSMISSION NEEDED & REPLACED.
CVT went in the car4
I initially owned a 2014 Nissan Sentra, which was a lemon, Nissan repurchased a 2015.. The transmission went into the car, and car slips gears when driving. I feel complicated unsafe in this vehicle. Please advise.
THE CAR HAD BEEN RUNNING OK BUT THEN OUT OF NOWHERE THE CAR JUST STOPPED AND THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. IT COULD NOT BE DRIVEN DUE TO THE CVT TRANSMISSION FAILING. HAD TO PAY $225 TO GET IT TOWED TO MY HOUSE AT 1:00 AM THEN ANOTHER $150 TO GET IT TOWED TO THE DEALER TO GET A DIAGNOSIS FOR NISSAN. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE VEHICLE WAS GIVEN AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR 7 YEARS/ 84,000 MILES. I AM STILL WITHIN THE 7 YEAR TIMEFRAME BUT I HAVE 86,439 MILES ON MY CAR. ONE ORIGINAL OWNER BEFORE ME. CLEAN CAR FAX REPORT AND THE CAR WAS DRIVEN MOSTLY HIGHWAY MILES. I HAVE HAD IT A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AND A HALF AND BARELY PUT 10,000 MILES ON IT. THIS CAR STOPPED WHILE MY 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING ON A BUSY HIGHWAY. SHE IS VERY LUCKY THAT NOTHING BAD HAPPENED TO HER. I HAVE DONE RESEARCH AND NISSAN HAS NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THESE CVT TRANSMISSIONS AND EVENTUALLY SOMETHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO SOMEONE BECAUSE OF THIS. I FEEL THAT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF THIS REPAIR AS THEY KNOWINGLY ARE SELLING THESE VEHICLES WITH TRANSMISSIONS AND THEY HAVE CAUSED MORE PROBLEMS FOR MORE PEOPLE. I HAVE AN OPEN CASE WITH NISSAN BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THEY WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS OR NOT.
AT 80,000 MILE MARK CAR WOULD SPUTTER ON HIGHWAY WHEN ACCELERATING, RPM FLARING, ENGINE WOULD REV UP ON HIGHWAY WHEN ACCELERATING. CAR WOULD ALSO JUDDER. SEEMS CLEARLY A CVT ISSUE.
VEHICLE IN MOTION ON HIGHWAY ABOUT 65-70 MPH RPM STARTS GOING UP AND DOWN SPEED STARTS TO DECREASE AS I PRESS TO ACCELERATE VEHICLE STARTS DECREASING SPEED NOT WANTING TO GO OVER 65 MPH AND RPM CONTINUES TO FLUCTUATE BACK AND FORTH FROM 3RPM TO 2 RPM LIKE IT WANTS TO GO FASTER BUT CAN'T. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A WEEK. THIS MORNING 2/18/21 STATIONED WAITING ON LIGHT TO CHANGE WHEN I PULL OFF THE VEHICLE JERKS WHEN PROCEEDING TO PULL OF FROM STATIONED POSITION. THIS HAPPENS EVEN IN THE CRUISE POSITION.
THE PAINT ON THE ROOF OF THE CAR HAS STARTED CHIPPING AND PEELING FOR NO REASON. THERE HAS BEEN NO DAMAGE TO THE CAR WHATSOEVER. THE PAINT JUST ONE DAY STARTED PEELING AND CHIPPING.
FAULTY CVT TRANSMISSION. I NEED THEM TO REPLACE IT WAITING ON CORPORATE TO RESPOND. IF NOTHING IS DOWN I'LL SEEK A LAWYER
WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY MY CAR STARTED SLOWING AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN NOT BEING ABLE TO ACCELERATE. THEN ON THE ROAD, IT WOULD TREMBLE AND STUTTER. NOT SAFE AT ALL I COULD'VE BEEN HIT
THIS IS OURT SECOND NISSAN SENTRA OUR FIRST ONE HAD THE TRANSMISSION REPLACED A LITTLE OVER 80,000 MILES AND NOW THIS ONE DOES THE SAME THING IT HAS A WHINE TO IT THAT IS PROGRESSIVELY GETTING LOUDER AND THE TRANSMISSION SOMETIMES FEELS LIKE IT SLIPS ALL OF THIS HAPPENS ON ANY STREET ROAD SPEED
WHEN DRIVING THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR WON'T LATCH CORRECTLY. WHEN DRIVING AT A SPEED OF 45-60 MPH YOU CAN HEAR A NOISE LIKE AIR IS COMING INSIDE THE CAR. ESPECIALLY ON A VERY WINDY DAY THE NOISE IS LOUDER AND IT FEELS LIKE THE DOOR WILL OPEN.
RECENTLY MY FAMILY WAS REAR-ENDED WHILE SITTING AT A STOPLIGHT AT A FOUR-WAY INTERSECTION ON A STATE ROUTE BY A DRUNK DRIVER TRAVELING MORE THAN TWICE THE SPEED LIMIT (40 MPH). FOLLOWING THE COLLISION, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAGS HAD BEEN DEPLOYED. HOWEVER, NEITHER THE DRIVER NOR PASSENGER AIRBAGS DEPLOYED IN THE CRASH CAUSING INCREASED INJURY TO THE DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER OF THE CAR. THERE WERE NO OCCUPANTS IN THE BACK SEAT AND ALL OCCUPANTS WERE WEARING SAFETY RESTRAINT BELTS CORRECTLY.*DT *TR
CAR WILL NOT ACCELERATE, TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING.. CAR STALLED WHILE TRYING TO PULL OFF THE ROAD. HAD TO HAVE CAR TOWED.
I WAS DRIVING THE INTERSTATE AND THE HOOD LATCH COMPLETELY DETACHED FROM THE FRAME OF THIS CAR CAUSING THE HOOD TO FLY UP AND SHATTER THE WINDSHIELD OF THE CAR ALMOST CAUSING A ACCIDENT WITH OTHER VEHICLES CAUSE IT WAS BLOCKING MY VISION
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while driving at various speeds on a bumpy road, the vehicle would skip to the passenger's side. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the front passenger's side lower control arm ball joint had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, while driving 20 MPH on an uneven road surface, the vehicle started shuddering with an abnormal rattling sound coming from underneath the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle would make abnormal squeaking sounds while turning to the left. Additionally, the contact stated that the front service brakes, brake rotors, and the rear service brakes were replaced twice within four years; however, the vehicle would emit a metallic grading sound while depressing the brake pedal. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000. Diagnostic was done on 4-6-2022 stating that the problem is the same problem as the recall that was put out for 19s26 by Ford.
CAR DOES NOT ACCELERATE AND DRAGS/SPUTTERS RPM GOES TO 4 OR 5 WHEN TRYING TO INCREASE SPEED TO 40 OR 50 MPH. CAR SHOULD NOT HAVE THESE ISSUES WHEN IT HAS HAD SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON FOR A AIRFLOW ISSUE. WHILE DRIVING THE ACCELERATION FEELS COMPLETELY OFF AS IF IT SLOWS DOWN OR DRAGS IN ONE GEAR AND HAS HARD TIME SWITCHING. I AM NOT TO SURE WHAT IS GOING ON BUT I AM NOW AFRAID TO TRANSPORT OR DRIVE MY PERSONAL VEHICLE ON AN UPCOMING 4 HOUR TRIP.I DRIVE MOSTLY LOCAL ROADS MINIMAL HIGHWAY. I AM A VERY BUSY PERSON AND NEED GUIDANCE ON HOW I SHOULD MOVE FORWARD PLEASE.
CAR ENGINE IS NOT ACCELERATING AND TRANSMISSION SEEMS TO BE STUCK IN A CERTAIN GEAR. TOOK IT INTO NISSAN LAST YEAR AND THEY REPLACED THE VALVE BODY IN THE TRANSMISSION. NOW IT APPEARS IT'S HAVING THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM AGAIN. VERY SCARY AS I ALMOST GOT INTO A FEW ACCIDENTS. ALSO THE ENGINE IS HAVING THE SAME LOW IDLE ISSUES BUT NOTHING IS AS BAD AS THE TRANSMISSION ISSUES. VERY VERY VERY SCARY
MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND CODE IS MASS AIRFLOW. I HAVE REPLACED IT 5 TIMES AS WELL AS HAD THE WORK DONE SUGGESTED BY NISSAN FOR THE TBS THAT HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR IT. IT STALLS WHILE I AM DRIVING IT. WHICH ALMOST RESULTED IN AM ACCIDENT. THE ONLY CODE THAT COMES UP ON THE SCAN IS FOR THE MASS AIRFLOW. I HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS BRING IT TO A DEALERSHIP. I HAVE HAD IT CHECKED AND RECHECKED AND FIXED AND THE ISSUE IS NOT GOING AWAY. WITH IT NOW STALLING AS I DRIVE THIS IS NOW A SAFETY ISSUE. IT HAPPENED ON A ROUTE WHERE THE SPEED LIMIT IS 50 MILES AN HOUR. AT THIS TIME I NOT ONLY REPLACED SENSOR AGAIN BUT ALSO HAD A MECHANIC CLEAN THE THROTTLE BODY AND DO THE OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS. THE LIGHT CLEARED AND 2 WEEKS LATER SAME ISSUE HAPPENED.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND MY CAR STARTED TO SLOW DOWN I CONTINUED TO PRESS THE GAS BUT IT WOULD NOT ACCELERATE AS I KEPT TRYING TO DRIVE IT JUST STOP GOING I PULL TO THE SIDE THE CAR WOULD NOT GO IN REVERSE OR FORWARD,I CALLED SOMEONE TO COME HELP AND THEY SAID MY TRANSMISSION WENT OUT
MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR WAS PREVIOUSLY REPLACED IN LATE JULY 2020 AND CURRENT MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR IS FAILING AGAIN THIS ONE IS BRAND NEW AND THE DATE IS AUGUST 25TH
CAR WILL JUST RANDOMLY STALL IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC I LOOSE A POWER OR STEALING THEN WILL SLOWLY COME TO A STOP MY BREAKS LOCK AND CAR START CLICKING THEN SHUTS OFF. ONCE I SIT FOR A BIT RESTART IT IT WILL START UP LIKE NOTHING HAPPEND IT HAD HAPPEND TO ME TWICE IN LESS THE TWO WEEKS APART. BOTH TIMES HAPPEND WHEN CAR RAN FOR ABOUT 10-20 MINS WITH NO MOVEMENT THEN ONCE I START DRIVING IT OCCURS.
TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS WITH ONLY A 70K MILAGE CAR. AND 4 MONTHS LATER, ITS GIVING ME THE SAME PROBLEM. AND THEY KEEP ON HAVING TO FIX IT AT MOSSY NISSAN DEALER.
THE CVT TRANSMISSION ON MY 2015 NISSAN SENTRA COMPLETELY FAILED. PRIOR TO THE COMPLETE FAILURE, IT HAS SWITCHED GEARS ON IT'S OWN WHEN I WAS DRIVING ON A CROWDED HIGHWAY, ALMOST CAUSING THE SEMI BEHIND ME TO HIT ME AND ALMOST CAUSING A MULTI-CAR PILEUP DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF TRAFFIC TRAVELING AT THAT TIME.. DURING THE SAME TRIP, IT LOST POWER ON THE HIGHWAY. IT HAS LOST POWER DRIVING THROUGH MY CITY STREETS, ALMOST CAUSING OTHER CARS TO HIT ME- AND IT STALLED WHEN I WAS IN HEAVY TRAFFIC- FORCING OTHER CARS TO GO INTO THE OTHER LANE OF TRAFFIC TO GET AROUND ME BECAUSE THE CAR HAD TO BE PUSHED INTO A NEARBY PARKING LOT. A FEDERAL JUDGE HAS FOUND THE CVT TRANSMISSION TO BE FAULTY. WHY HAS NISSAN NOT HAD TO RECALL THIS TRANSMISSION AND WHY DO THEY NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR REPAIRS WHEN THEIR TRANSMISSION IS AT FAULT.
2015 NISSAN SENTRA S AT 65,000 MILES ON FOUR RANDOM OCCASSIONS WITHIN THE PAST SIX MONTHS I HAVE EXPERIENCED THESE TWO ISSUES WHILE DRIVING THE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH, LOSS OF POWER AND HWY STALLING. THIS VEHICLE'S TRANSMISSION SHOULD NOT BE CREATING THIS. I HAVE HAD TO STOP DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY DUE TO THIS. TRANSMISSION/HWY LOSS OF POWER WHILE ACCELERATING
CAR RUNNING BUTT WON FORWARD OR REVERSE
THE CAR DOESN'T WANT TO CHANGE GEAR.
TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED BY PREVIOUS OWNER, 89,000MILES. VEHICLE HAS 114,000MI NOW, 25,000MI APPROX ON CURRENT TRANSMISSION. WHEN STARTING TO ACCELERATE, IT WILL TAKE 1-2 SECONDS (OFTEN) FOR THE CAR TO BEGIN MOVING. THIS SEEMS TO OCCUR AT RANDOM, UNRELATED TO OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE, OR ENGINE TEMPERATURE. WHILE BRAKING, ENGINE MIGHT "KICK UP" TO HIGHER RPMS AT RANDOM AS WELL. CVT TRANSMISSION IS VERY DEFECTIVE AND NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED ASAP. I HAVE NO DOCUMENTS TO PROVIDE AT THIS TIME AS IT WILL COST SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS TO GET AN ASSESSMENT OF THE TRANSMISSION, LET ALONE A REPLACEMENT. ISSUES HAVE BEEN PRESENT BEGINNING AT THE TIME OF MY OWNERSHIP, OCT 2019 - PRESENT.
CVT TRANSMISSION FAILED AT 63K
THE CAR STARTED MISS SHIFTING AND CAUSED ME TO STALL IN THE MIDDLE OF STREET. THE ENGINE IS STILL RUNNING BUT TRANSITION WILL NOW SHIFT OR DRIVE. I NEED TO FIND OUT IF THIS IS INCLUDED IN YOUR RECALL OR CLASS ACTION SUIT. PLEASE CONTACT ME.
