THIS CAR IS VERY DANGEROUS, I WILL BE GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND IT LOSES SPEED FOR NO REASON. I TRY TO GET IT GAS AND MY SPEED DECREASES. I HAVE ALMOST BEEN IN SEVERAL ACCIDENTS DUE TO THIS SCARY PROBLEM. I'VE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAY NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THIS VEHICLE. IT'S GONNA TAKE SOMEONE LOSING THERE LIFE BEFORE NISSAN WILL ADMIT THIS BE VEHICLE NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NISSAN
THE PAINT ON THE ROOF, HOOD, AND BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT QUARTER PANELS OF THE VEHICLE IS STARTING TO COME OFF TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE ROOF NEAREST TO THE TOP OF THE WINDSHIELD, THE INSIDE OF THE QUARTER PANELS CLOSETS TO THE TRUNK LID, AND THE FRONT TOP PART OF THE HOOD. QM1 I THINK IS THE PAINT CODE. IT'S A 3-STAGE WHITE. I DON'T BELIEVE THE PAINT IS SUPPOSED TO ALREADY BE PEELING OFF OF A 2016 VEHICLE. I HAVE MORE PHOTOS IF NECESSARY.
The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that while at a complete stop, the vehicle stalled upon the depression of the accelerator pedal without warning. Due to the failure, the contact had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic who informed her of a class-action lawsuit that had been filed against Nissan's CVT transmissions. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed her that she no longer qualified for the warranty extension for the transmission. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 113,000.
MY 2016 NISSAN SENTRA HAS ALWAYS SKIPPED SOME, ACTED LIKE IT DIDN'T WANT TO GO, BUT THE OTHER DAY, WHEN I PRESSED THE GAS, IT WOULDN'T GO. THIS WAS AS I WAS RIDING DOWN THE ROAD. AT TIMES, THE GAS PEDAL WOULD ACCELERATE SOME, BUT THEN THE CAR WOULD START JERKING. TO MAKE IT HOME, I HAD TO ACCELERATE, COAST, TRY THE GAS PEDAL AGAIN, AND COAST SOME MORE. NO ENGINE, OR WARNING LIGHTS EVER CAME UP ON THE DASH.
THE PUSH BUTTON START IS VERY UNRELIABLE I HAVE HAD TO HAVE AAA TWICE FOR STARTING PROBLEMS AND TOWED TWICE TO THE NISSAN SERVICE GARQAGE I THIK THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFTEY ISSUE I AM NOT COMFORTABLE GOING ANYPLACE AND KNOWING THAT IT MAY NOT START AFTER PARKED IT HAS THIS PROBLEM IN PARKING LOTS AND HOME GARAGE I AM 82 YEARS OLD AND ALL I WANTED WAS A SMALL DEPENDABLE CARE THIS IS NOT
WHEN ON THE FREEWAY, ONCE VEHICLE HAS REACHED 50-70 MPH, THE RPMS JUMP UP AND DOWN. SUPER DANGEROUS AS I AM THEN UNABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF VEHICLE AND HAVE TO CUT THROUGH TRAFFIC TO A SHOULDER. ALSO ON TAKE OFF AND STOPPING AT RED LIGHTS, CAR SHUDDERS AND FEELS LIKE IT IS GOING TO STALL. I KNOW THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OUT THERE AS MANY DRIVERS ARE HAVING THIS ISSUE BUT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY $5 IN TRANSMISSION REPAIR ON A CAR THAT HAVE 60K MILES JUST TO WAIT FOR REIMBURSEMENT. NISSAN NEEDS TO STEP UP AND HANDLE THIS AS A RECALL.
WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD ONE MINUTE MY CAR IS DRIVING FINE THEN WHEN YOU COME TO A STOP AND PRESS ON THE GAS MY CAR DOESN'T WANT TO GO ANYWHERE. THE RPM WILL ACCELERATE BUT MY SPEEDOMETER WILL NOT GO UP. I HAVE EVEN PRESSED THE GAS ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR AND IT STILL WON'T GET UP IN SPEED. MY CAR WILL ALSO ACT LIKE IT'S TRYING TO DYE WHEN SITTING AT AT LIGHT OR STOP SIGN. IT'S ALSO STARTED MAKING A RATTLING NOISE IN THE ENGINE. THE HAS HAPPENED IN TOWN, ON THE HIGHWAY. THIS IS VERY SCARY ESPECIALLY WHEN TRYING TO GET ON A HIGHWAY WITH KIDS IN THE CAR AND TRYING TO MERGE INTO ON COME TRAFFIC WITH HUGE SEMI'S. I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR IN SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY TELL MY THAT IT NEEDS TO BE REPROGRAMMED. WELL OBVIOUSLY REPROGRAMMING IT DOESN'T WORK. I'M FED UP WITH THIS PROBLEM. I WILL NEVER BY ANOTHER NISSAN AGAIN. I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR IN
WHEN GIVING THE GAS WHEN TAKING OFF VEHICLE SHUDDERS. WHEN ON THE FREEWAY AROUND 50-60 MPH THE RPMS JUMP UP AND DOWN AND THE CAR JERKS AND SOMETIMES FEELS LIKE IT MAY STALL OUT AT HIGH SPEEDS. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS ON CALIFORNIA FREEWAYS.
SO YESTERDAY IN MY APARTMENT COMPLEX, I WAS DRIVING UP A HILL TO GET TO MY APARTMENT, WHEN MY CAR COMPLETELY STALLED ON ME & STARTED TO REVERT BACKWARDS, SO AS I'M TRYING TO STOP MY CAR I GET DRUG BACK DOWN THE HILL WITH MY CAR & AS MY CAR CONTINUED, IT HIT A TREE & A SHED WHICH MESSED UP MY DRIVER SIDE & MY BACK BUMPER & TRUNK. ALSO I HAVE PHYSICAL INJURIES AS WELL.
THE TRANSMISSION ALREADY WENT OUT ON MY CAR AND I JUST BOUGHT IT AND NOW HAVING TO PAY OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES FOR SOMETHING I SHOULDN'T BE HAVING ANY ISSUES WITH AT THIS TIME
CAR WAS BOUGHT BRAND NEW AND AT 64K MILES TRANSMISSION FAILED. VEHICLE STARTED TO SHAKE ON ACCELERATION THEN IT WOULD JUST SHUT DOWN ON THE FREEWAY OR WHEN PARKED. WHEN THE CAR WAS IN PARK OR STOPPED AT A LIGHT IT WOULD ALSO START SHAKING AND SHUT DOWN. ACCELERATION WAS ALSO VERY SLOW EVEN WHEN FLOORING THE GAS PEDAL THE CAR WOULD NOT GO BEYOND 20-40 MPH.
WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT AROUND 80MPH THE CAR'S RPM'S WILL SPIKE AND THE GAS PEDAL WILL NOT WORK. THE CAR JUST TAKES OVER DRIVING ITSELF. THIS OCCURS FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN THE CAR WILL DRIVE NORMALLY AGAIN. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAY NOTHING IS WRONG. I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER MECHANIC AND THEY SAY IT'S THE CVT TRANSMISSION SLIPPING. BUT THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT DAMAGED AND THERE'S NO DIAGNOSTIC CODE SO NOTHING CAN BE DONE.
CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSIONS (CVTS) STARTS SHIFTING BACK AND FORTH ABNORMALLY BETWEEN GEARS. IT SHUDDERS, SHAKES, AND JERKS WHEN SHIFTING GEARS. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT I NEED TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION THE VEHICLE HAS ABOUT 97 THOUSANDS MILES. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT NISSAN SENTRA ARE KNOW FOR THIS PROBLEM. I CALLED NISSAN CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE AND WAS TOLD THAT MY VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED BY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR THE CVT PROBLEM.
I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK THROUGH A RESIDENTIAL AREA AND THE VEHICLE MADE SOME GRINDING NOISE UNDERNEATH AND DIED SUDDENLY. IT WAS TOWED TO THE MECHANIC AND I WAS TOLD IT WILL BE $4,000.00 FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION. THE CAR IS 3 YEARS OLD AND HAS 60,873 MILES ON IT. NATURALLY THE WARRANTY EXPIRES AT 60,000 MILES. I STILL HAVE 3 YEARS OF MONTHLY PAYMENTS LEFT. NATURALLY, WHEN I GOOGLE THE NISSAN SENTRA 2016, YOU CAN SEE ALL THE OTHER COMPLAINTS WITH THEIR TRANSMISSION.
THE CAR IS NOT ACCELERATING PROPERLY. I FEEL UNSAFE AND UNCOMFORTABLE DRIVING IT ON THE ROADS AND MERGING INTO THE HIGHWAYS BUT THAT'S THE ONLY VEHICLE I HAVE AT THE MOMENT TO GET TO WORK, TAKE THE KIDS TO SCHOOL AND RUN ERRANDS.
VEHICLE HAS A SHUTTER IN LOW SPEEDS AND SLIGHTLY SLIPS
WHEN THE COMBINATION SWITCH IS USED TO ACTUATE THE WINDSHIELD WASHER, THE FLUID CONTINUES TO SPRAY AFTER IT IS RELEASED. ONLY PULLING THE SWITCH DOWN, AND BACK UP, WILL CAUSE IT TO STOP. THIS HAPPENS REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE VEHICLE IS PARKED, OR IN MOTION. OCCASIONALLY THE WASHERS WILL SPRAY UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE, ONLY STOPPING WITH MANIPULATION OF THE COMBINATION SWITCH.
THE CVT IS CAUSING THE CAR TO NOT PICKUP SPEED AND IT'S CAUSING A DANGEROUS SITUATION ON INTERSTATE. I SEE THAT THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM BEFORE MY PROBLEM WHY HASN'T A RECALLED BEEN ISSUED. ALSO MY CAR IS A 2016 NISSAN SENTRA THAT I PURCHASED IN BATON ROUGE LA AFTER THE MAJOR FLOOD HERE I HOPE I WASNT' SOLD A CAR THAT HAD WATER DAMAGE
I PURCHASED A USED 2016 NISSAN SENTRA SV IN 2019 AT 48K MILES - IT IS CURRENTLY AT 58K MILES, NEARLY TO THE POWERTRAIN EXPIRATION AT 60K MILES. AFTER 4 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP I BEGAN EXPERIENCING SEVERE CVT TRANSMISSION ISSUES - I WOULD BE DRIVING UP THE HIGHWAY AND SUDDENLY MY TRANSMISSION WOULD LOSE COMPLETE POWER CAUSING NEAR-ACCIDENT CONDITIONS ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE CAR WOULD BE IN MOTION, SOMETIMES IN CRUISE CONTROL WHILE MOVING FORWARD. THE CAR JOLTS BACK AND FORTH VIOLENTLY. WHEN IT LOSES POWER IT CANNOT ACCELERATE AND TYPICALLY GETS STUCK AT 45 MPH. THIS HAS HAPPENED APPROXIMATELY 15-20 TIMES IN THE DURATION OF MY OWNERSHIP OF THIS VEHICLE SO FAR. I HAVE TAKEN IT IN TO THE SERVICE CENTER SEVERAL TIMES TO HAVE IT REPAIRED, ONLY TO HAVE THEM STATE THAT THEY CANNOT DUPLICATE THE ISSUE AND THEIR COMPUTERS CANNOT SOURCE A CODE. I WAS ABLE TO CAPTURE THIS ISSUE ON VIDEO TO HELP PROVE THAT THIS ISSUE IS HAPPENING. I SENT THE VIDEO TO A TECHNICIAN WHO THEN CONFIRMED "YES, THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR TRANSMISSION" ONLY TO HAVE THEM STATE AT THE END OF ANOTHER DAY-LONG VISIT TO THE SERVICE CENTER THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT EXTRA FORCE WAS NEEDED TO REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION. THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

I'VE HAD THIS 2016 NISSAN SENTRA FOR 2 YEARS & 5 MONTHS. TODAY JUNE 29,2019 2:15 PM WHILE DRIVING HOME ON A REGULAR STREET MY CAR ENGINE JUST SHUT DOWN WITHOUT ANY WARNING. WHILE STILL MOVING NO LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD. STEERING WHEEL IS IS HARD TO TURN AFTER A MINUTE A COUPLE OF ITEMS LIGHTED UP ON THE DASHBOATD LIKE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, OIL ETC... TRIED TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE BUT THE STEERING WHEEL WAS HARD TO MANEUVER GOOD THING THERE WERE NO ON COMING CARS ON THE ROAD. I WAITED A VOUPLE MINUTES THEN RESTARTED THE CAR & IT STARTED. TURNED OFF THE RADIO , AUR CPNDITION & UNPLUGGED THE CHARGER & DROVE HOME WITHOUT ANY ISSUES BUT WAS SCARED THAT IT WOULD STOP AGAIN.
I am having issues with my check engine light going in and out. I received the code P0101. But the mechanic checked and said there's nothing wrong with my Mass Air Flow sensor nor trottle body. He said that everything was fine so he reset the car. A few months later the check engine light came back on. Went off a few months later. I have been going through this for a year now. I have also found a forum where several people are having issues with this same code P0101. And their mechanics are giving them the same answers. There needs to be a recall on Nissan Sentras for this reason.
THE DOOR HANDLE IS A TWO PIECE PIECE OF PLASTIC AND IT BREAKS VERY EASILY ALMOST AS IF IT WAS ENGINEERED TO BREAK. I CURRENTLY HAVE IT SECURED WITH ZIP TIES BECAUSE I AM TIRED OF REPLACING THE CHEAP CRAPPY PLASTIC ON MY DIME.
AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY I FELT MY CAR PUNCH, LIKE WHEN IT SWITCHED GEARS IT KEPT MAKING A BANG NOISE LIKE IF IT WAS PUNCHING. AS I CONTINUED DRIVING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON AND I WENT TO A PEP BOYS AND A AUTOZONE SO THEY COULD READ THE CODE AND THEY BOTH CAME UP WITH 'P2859'. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND TOLD THEM I WOULD BE BRINGING IT IN THE FOLLOWING DAY BECAUSE IT WAS LATE ALREADY. THE NEXT DAY I BROUGHT IT IN TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND AFTER SEVERAL HOURS THEY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME I WOULD NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION, I ASKED IF THEY WERE SURE AND IF A TRANSMISSION FLUSH WOULD DO ANYTHING OR IF THERE IS AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON IT BECAUSE I ONLY HAD THE CAR FOR CLOSE TO TWO YEARS. NOW I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO CAUSE I'M STILL MAKING PAYMENTS ON THE CAR AND THE REPAIR BILL IS ALIL OVER $4000.
MY TRANSMISSION FAILED ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY. I COULD NOT ACCELERATE AND NARROWLY AVOIDED A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT. PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT, THE CAR WAS MAKING A SMALL KIND OF CLICKING/SHUDDERING SOUND WHEN I WOULD ACCELERATE. I THOUGHT IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE TIRES. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THE TRANSMISSION WAS FAILING, BUT I THOUGHT THEY MAY HAVE BEEN MISTAKEN BECAUSE I WAS HAVING NO ISSUES WITH MOVING AT THE TIME. NOW I UNDERSTAND THAT THE DEALERSHIP KNEW IT WAS A TRANSMISSION ISSUE BECAUSE NISSAN IS AWARE OF A MAJOR DEFECT WITH THEIR CVT TRANSMISSIONS, BUT WILL NOT ORDER A RECALL TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. MY CHILDREN AND I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED ON THE HIGHWAY THAT EVENING; WE BARELY MADE IT OFF THE ROAD. I AM TERRIFIED TO TRY TO DRIVE THE CAR. THERE IS NO REASON WHY A CAR THAT I PURCHASED BRAND NEW SHOULD HAVE TRANSMISSION FAILURE LESS THAN TWO YEARS AFTER I BOUGHT IT. THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY BEFORE LIVES ARE LOST. I'M ASSUMING A FAMILY WILL HAVE TO DIE ON A HIGHWAY BEFORE THIS COMPANY WILL CORRECT THEIR FLAW.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2016 NISSAN SENTRA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH AND ATTEMPTING TO TURN, THE STEERING ABILITY SEIZED AND THE VEHICLE CRASHED HEAD ON INTO A TREE. POLICE REPORT NUMBER: 20191420571 WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED ABDOMINAL INJURIES DUE TO THE SEAT BELT AND WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE INSURANCE COMPANY LABELED THE VEHICLE DESTROYED AND IT WAS TOWED TO AN IMPOUND LOT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
MY CAR STARTED SHOWING A TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD AND MY CRUISE CONTROL STOPPED WORKING. I BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME A BRAKE SENSOR WAS BAD SO THEY WENT TO FIX THAT BUT IT DIDNT FIX THE PROBLEM BECAUSE I HAD NO BRAKE LIGHTS. APPARENTLY A WIRE SHORTED AND REULTED IN ME NOT HAVING BRAKE LIGHTS AND THE CAR DIDNT INDICATE OR WARN ME I HAD BEEN DRIVING WITH NO BRAKE LIGHTS. THEY TOLD ME THE COST TO REPLACE THE HARNESS WAS $3000.00 OR THEY COULD RUN ANOTHER WIRE TO REPLACE THE BAD ONE FOR $1000.00 ON A 3 YEAR OLD CAR THAT RETAILS FOR $18000.00 THAT HAS 25000 MILES ON IT.
MODEL 2016 ALREADY NEEDS THE TRANSMISSION REPLACED. HAPPENS OFTEN - THE DEALERS EVEN STOCK IT. WILL ONLY GUARANTEE THE WORK FOR ONE YEAR, AS THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH SEVERAL CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS. CAR STALLS CONSTANTLY, HIGH AND LOW SPEEDS AND MUST BE PUSHED OFF THE ROAD. HAD TO TOW IT TO THE DEALER.

CAR STALLED TO A COMPLETE STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF A HIGHWAY ONRAMP. CAR STARTS BUT DOES NOT GET INTO GEAR AND DIES. MAY BE SIMILAR TO NISSAN SENTRA 2016 ISSUE WITH ENGINE WIRING HARNESS. BUT MY CAR A NISSAN SENTRA S 2016 IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL.

CAR NOT EVEN 24 HOURS OLD, THE CAR WOULD NOT START WITH PUSHING THE STARTER BUTTON, THE RMP WOULD BE AT 3 AT IDLEING. MARCH 2019, ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, AND WENT TO THE DEALER. SENSOR IN FUEL PUMP HAD TO BE REPLACED, FEW WEEKS POWER TRAIN PROBLEMS. IN THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION OF ROUTE 45 IN GREYS LAKE, IL. THE CAR WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF FIRST GEAR AND ALMOST DIES IN THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION. THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS, DUE TO CARS BEING BEHIND ME, AND CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. NOT ALOT OF PEOPLE WANT TO PUT IN THE CLAIM, BUT WHILE DOING MY RESEARCH THERE HAVE BEEN PLENTY OF COMPLAINTS ON DIFFERENT WEBSITES. I'VE ONLY HAD THIS CAR FOR 3 YEARS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEATER CORE WAS REPLACED 3 TIMES AND THE HEATER BOX, ALONG WITH THE HEATER CORE, WAS REPLACED 2 TIMES. THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 32,000.
THERE'S A YELLOW DASHBOARD LIGHT AND A RED AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT THAT STAYS ON CONSTANTLY WHEN OPERATING THE VEHICLE. THE LIGHTS STAY ON WHEN THERE'S AN ADULT IN THE SEAT, TOO. TRANSMISSION IS MAKING A WHIRRING NOISE ON ACCELERATION FROM A GREEN LIGHT AND IS JERKING SOMETIMES UPON ACCELERATION. THEN GETTING ON THE INTERSTATE IT HESITATES BEFORE IT HITS 60 MPH I BOUGHT THIS CAR WITH 45,000 MILES AND PAYMENT. I HAVE A 2016 NISSAN SENTRA THAT HAS CVT TRANSMISSION THAT IS BREAKING DOWN AFTER THE CAR IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD. CAR IS HAVING TROUBLE SHIFTING, ACCELERATING, AND HESITATE AND LOSES POWER WHEN DRIVING ON BOTH A CITY STREET OR HIGHWAY. THIS HAS BEEN A KNOWN PROBLEM BY NISSAN FROM PREVIOUS MODELS AND THAT GO FROM 2003 TO 2010 MODELS WHERE THEY EXTENDED THE TRANSMISSION WARRANTY. I FOUND THIS OUT THROUGH RESEARCH AND SEE THERE ARE OTHER COMPLAINTS FOR LATE MODEL CARS LIKE MINE. A TRANSMISSION SHOULD NOT FAIL LIKE THIS ON A 2 YEAR OLD CAR AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BEAR THE COST OF REPLACING IT AT $5,000.

I HAD A REBUILT TRANSMISSION PUT IN, BUT I AM ALREADY SEEING THE SYMPTOMS AGAIN! I HAVE BEEN TAKING DATA EVER SINCE AND HAVE A PAGE OF INCIDENCES. I TOOK IT BACK AND THEY SAID THERE'S NOTHING WRONG. I AM LESS THAN 3000 MILES AWAY FROM 60,000, WHICH IS WHEN THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY WILL EXPIRE. ABOUT 10,000 MILES AGO, I INQUIRED ABOUT GETTING AN EXTENDED WARRANTY BUT THEY REFUSED TO SELL ME ONE SINCE I DRIVE ABOUT 110 MILES A DAY FOR WORK. I STILL OWE QUITE A BIT ON THIS POS. THE BRAKES SQUEAL WHEN MASHED EVEN THOUGH BRAKE PADS,ROTORS ARE GOOD AS WELL AS BRAKE FLUID. IT WILL MAKE A POPPING NOISE WHILE TRYING TO SHIFT IT INTO GEAR AS WELL. THE VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED. THE CAR JOLTS TO THE RIGHT AND LEFT WHILE DRIVING AND IS DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN CONTROL EVEN AFTER BRAND NEW TIRES WERE PUT ON, BALANCED, ROTATED AND ALIGNED.
