DROVE TO MY DAUGHTERS HOUSE TO PICK HER UP TO GO CHRISTMAS SHOPPING PULLED IN DRIVEWAY TURNED CAR OFF TOOK KEYS IN HOUSE WITH ME CAME OUT ABOUT 15 MINUTES LATER AND CAR WAS ON FIRE IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT. FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED AND CAR WAS A TOTAL LOSS. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE THEN SHUT OFF AND VEERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. BLACK SMOKE AND FLAMES APPEARED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED AT THE SCENE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FIRE. THE INSURANCE COMPANY STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THERE IS AN OPEN INVESTIGATION (EA07008) REGARDING VEHICLE FIRES. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 155,000.
ENGINE CAUGHT ON FIRE AFTER WIDE DROVE CAR FOR LESS THEN FIVE MINUTES. THE ENGINE STILL RUNS AND NO PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. IT APPEARS THAT ONE OF THE SPARK PLUG WIRES IS TORN RIGHT UNDERNEATH THE OIL FILL SPOUT. *TR
ON THIS MORNING (TUESDAY NOV 27 2007) MY 2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GTP SUFFERED AN UNEXPLAINED FIRE IN THE ENGINE DEPARTMENT. THE FIRE HAPPENED AFTER I DROVE TO WORK. I ARRIVED AT MY PLACE OF WORK, PARKED, WENT TO MY OFFICE, AND ABOUT TEN MINUTES LATER I RECEIVED A CALL FROM OUR COMPANY SECURITY THAT MY VEHICLE WAS BURNING. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN REGULARLY SERVICED AND MAINTAINED ACCORDING TO THE SUGGESTED SCHEDULE AT A PONTIAC GMC DEALER FOR THE ENTIRE PERIOD THAT I HAVE OWNED IT (2001-PRESENT). THERE WERE NO DEFECTS WHEN DRIVING AND THE CAR HAD BEEN SERVICED ONLY A COUPLE WEEKS EARLIER. IT HAS BEEN DRIVING WITHOUT ISSUE,SO I AM VERY SURPRISED THAT IT SPONTANEOUSLY IGNITED AFTER BEING PARKED. I HAVE READ THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MANY OTHER GRAND PRIX'S AND THAT THE MATTER IS UNDER INVESTIGATION. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS DAMAGED, BUT THE FIRST RESPONDERS WERE ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE BEFORE IT COULD SPREAD TO THE REST OF THE CAR. THE VEHICLE IS AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION IF THAT WOULD HELP THE INVESTIGATION AND I HAVE SOME PICTURES AS WELL. *TR

THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND A REPORT IS AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT REPORTED THE FIRE TO HIS INSURANCE COMPANY, BUT WAS UNAWARE IF THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE PURCHASE DATE WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 144,000.

THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 120,000.
2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GTP VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT MINUTES AFTER IGNITION WAS TURNED OFF RESULTING IN TOTAL LOSS OF THE VEHICLE. ALSO DAMAGE TO THE INTERIOR OF THE GARAGE WHERE VEHICLE WAS PARKED. *TR
I MADE MY NORMAL APPROX. 13-MILE DRIVE INTO WORK ON THE MORNING OF OCTOBER 29, 2007. PARK THE CAR, WALKED INTO THE OFFICE AND APPOX. 10 MINS LATER WAS NOTIFIED THAT MY CAR WAS ON FIRE. CAME BACK TO THE CAR AND FOUND IT HAD A FAIRLY LARGE FIRE. FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED AND WITHIN 15 MINUTES, MOST OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND THE EXTERIOR OF THE ENGINE WAS BURNT BEYOND RECOGNITION. THE CAR IS CURRENTLY BEING LOOK AT FOR A CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. *TR
ALL I DID WAS PARK MY CAR IN A HOTEL PARKING LOT AND WENT INTO THE LOUNGE. ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER THE INTERCOM WAS SAYING A PONTIAC WAS ON FIRE. I WENT OUTSIDE TO FIND MY CAR ON FIRE UNDER THE HOOD . FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS NOTIFIED AND RESPONDED TO PUT OUT THE FIRE..THE CAR WAS DESTROYED. *TR
I HAVE A 2000 GRAND PRIX GT WITH 63000 MILES. ABOUT A WEEK AGO I WAS TRAVELING TO WORK ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY WHEN I HAD A VEHICLE COME WITHIN INCHES OF MY BUMPER. I CONTINUED ON TO MY JOB AND THE DRIVER PULLED INTO THE PARKING LOT NEXT TO ME. I WAS THEN NOTIFIED I HAVE NO BRAKE LIGHTS. SINCE THIS TIME MY HUSBAND HAS TRIED TO REPLACE BOTH BULBS, THE FUSE THE STOP LAMP SWITCH AND CHECKED WIRING FOR ANY ISSUES. NONE OF THESE HAVE SOLVED THE ISSUE. LOOKING THROUGH THE NET I HAVE SEEN 100'S OF COMPLAINTS FROM PONTIAC OWNERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND I HAVE TO WONDER WHY PONTIAC HAS NOT LIVED UP TO THEIR END OF THE BARGAIN AND DONE A RECALL ON THIS. *JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. TWENTY MINUTES AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN THE CONTACT'S DRIVEWAY, HE NOTICED FLAMES UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. HE GRABBED HIS WATER HOSE AND EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT BELIEVED THAT THE VEHICLE SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 07E021000 (FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:PRESSURE RELIEF DEVICES). THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 142,000. UPDATED 01-17-08. *KB
2000 GRAND PRIX GT, NO BRAKE LIGHTS, REPLACED BULBS, TOOK TO LOCAL AUTO REPAIR, FOR $71 DIAGNOSIS, MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC BOX IN STEERING COLUMN, WHAT YOUR BLINKER IS STUCK INTO, $150 PART PLUS 4 HOURS LABOR TOTAL REPAIR $677, THEY HAVE REPAIRED MANY GM SWITCHES THAT'S HOW THEY KNEW WHAT IT WAS. MOLD SMELL - SOME PART HAS TO BE CLEANED NEAR THE AIR CONDITIONER WHICH REQUIRES SEVERAL PARTS TO BE REMOVED TO GET TO WHERE THE WATER WILL NOT DRAIN AND IS CAUSING THE SMELL. PROBLEM WILL RE OCCUR DUE TO THE DESIGN OF THE CAR. *TR
MY HUSBAND DRIVING VEH FRWY, GOING APPROX. 65-70 MPH WHEN ALL DASH LIGHTS WENT OUT. AS HE WAS PULLING OVER HE SAW SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER HOOD ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. HE OPENED THE HOOD AND THERE WERE FLAMES COMING FROM LEFT SIDE OF ENGINE. THERE WERE FLAMES COMING FROM THE WHEEL WELLS. MY VEHICLE WAS TOTAL LOSS FROM THIS. THERE WERE NO PRIOR INDICATIONS OF ANY PROBLEMS. THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD NUMEROUS ISSUES WITH POPPING NOISE IN FRONT END WHEN STEERING TO THE LEFT. WATER ON PASSENGER FLOORBOARD, NO APPARENT REASON. *TR
THERE IS A STRONG MUSTY SMELL, MOST NOTICEABLE IN THE WARMER WEATHER MONTHS. HAVE NOTICED WATER COMING INTO THE FRONT AREA BY DRIVERS RIGHT FOOT AND PASSENGERS LEFT FOOT AREA. I AM ALMOST CERTAIN THAT IT IS COMING FROM THE AIR CONDITIONING. MUSTY SMELL IS MOST LIKELY FROM THE CARPET GETTING WET AND PRODUCING THE ODOR. *TR
THE TREAD COMPLETELY CAME OF THE BASE OF THE TIRE WHILE ON THE INTERSTATE. THE TIRE NUMBER IS P20570R15. *JB

WHEN SHE RETURNED, SHE NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE AND REALIZED IT WAS ON FIRE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 91,730.
HUSBAND MOVED THE 2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GTP W/ SUPER CHARGER. CLOSER TO WORK SITE & PARKED THE CAR, SAT & ATE LUNCH IN CAR. THE CABIN OF THE CAR FILLED WITH SMOKE. HUSBAND COULDN'T GET DOORS OPEN, BUT GOT THE WINDOWS TO COME DOWN. HAD TO CRAWL OUT OF THE WINDOWS AND REALIZED CAR WAS ON FIRE. WITHIN 10-15 MINUTES THE CAR WAS COMPLETELY IN FLAMES. THE FIREMEN HAD TO PRY THE SIDES OF THE HOOD UP TO GET THE FIRE OUT. THE CAR WAS TOTALED. APPROXIMATE MILEAGE 121000. *AK

STARTING WITH A MAF SENSOR GOING OUT, REPLACED, CAUSED DAMAGE TO O2 SENSORS, REPLACED ,AS SOON AS THESE WENT OUT NOTICED COOLANT LEVEL DROP THEN THE COOLANT LEVEL SENSOR WENT OUT AT TANK, REPLACED, NEXT MORNING AT START UP A LOUD KIND OF KNOCKING TOOK PLACE AT START UP FOR 5 TO 10 MIN AND VERY ROUGH IDLE FROM 1500-2000 RPM ,PO300 RANDOM MISFIRE, SO I REPLACED PLUGS , WIRES , AND COILS. NOW RUFF RPM RANGE 1000 TO 1500 AND STILL KNOCKING AT START UP. CHANGING OIL AND FILTER AFTER ALMOST EVERY FIX TO CHECK FOR WATER OR METAL, OIL IS FINE,NOW A PO304 -RANDOM MISFIRE ON 4TH CYLYNDER- BUT CAR WOULD CLEAR UP FOR A DAY OR TWO,ALSO ADDING INJECTOR CLEANER AND FUEL FILTER TO MAKE SURE FUEL SYSTEM IS OK AND USING A NOID CHECK ON EACH INJECTOR ALL INJECTORS FINE, NOW KNOCKING AT START UP WENT AWAY ,BUT ROUGH IDLE STILL PERCISTS . STILL PO304 SO I CHECK COMPRESSION ON THE 4TH CYLINDER AND IT ONLY HAS 70-75 LBS. OF PRESSURE. SO I'M DONE WASTING MONEY BRING IT TO THE GILROY PONTIAC BUICK GMC FOR TEAR DOWN AND FIRST THEY SAW A BURNT EXHAUST VALVE ON THE 4TH CYLINDER , THEN NOTICED THE WATER IN THE VALLEY TRAY AND HEAD GASKET IS BLOWN AND THE INTAKE GASKET IS LEAKING AND THE WATER PUMP IS LEAKING THE SAME WATER PUMP THAT WENT OUT AT 700 MILES NEW. SO NOW THE ONLY CHOICE I HAVE IS TO HAVE THE HEAD AND VALVE JOB DONE, BUT THE WATER DAMAGE WOULD MOST LIKELY CAUSE PINGING AFTER ALL THAT MONEYS SPENT SO NOW ONLY CHOICE IS TO PAY ALMOST $4500 FOR A NEW MOTOR , PROBLEM SOLVED.AT 92000 MI
TL*- THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER RESEARCHING THE INTERNET SHE DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION ABOUT THE MULTI FUNCTION SWITCH MALFUNCTIONED FOR THE 2000 - 2002 GRAND PRIX. THE CONTACT'S BRAKE LIGHTS AND HAZARD LIGHTS WERENOT WORKING. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 126000. UPDATED 03/19/07. *JB
I DROVE ABOUT 3-4 MILES FROM MY WORK TO PICK UP MY NEWBORN SON FROM MY MOTHER, WHO WAS BABYSITTING. I PARKED MY CAR IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE SCHOOL AND WENT INSIDE (CAR WAS NOT ON). I HAD ENOUGH TIME TO USE THE RESTROOM AND CHANGE MY SON'S DIAPER (10 MINUTES) AND WE GOT A PHONE CALL FROM THE MAIN OFFICE ON THE 1ST FLOOR TO TELL US THAT MY CAR WAS SMOKING. I RAN TO THE WINDOW AND SAW BLACK SMOKE BILLOWING FROM MY HOOD. I RAN DOWNSTAIRS TO THE 1ST FLOOR, BUT BY THE TIME I GOT NEAR ENOUGH TO SEE, I COULD SEE ORANGE FLAMES UNDERNEATH THE CAR. I DIDN'T DARE GO NEAR THE CAR TO RETRIEVE MY BELONGINGS (PURSE, CAR SEAT, CD'S, ETC) FOR FEAR THAT THE FLAMES WOULD SPREAD TO THE GAS TANK. BY THE TIME THE FIRE DEPARTMENT GOT THERE, THE FLAMES WERE 5-8 FEET HIGH. THE CAR IS A TOTAL LOSS, BUT I HAVE NOT GOTTEN A QUOTE MY INSURANCE COMPANY AS OF YET. *JB
THE ABS HARNESS THAT CLIPS TO THE BACKING PLATE IS COMING UNCLIPPED ON THE BACK PLATE WHILE MAKING A SHARP LEFT HAND TURN. ITS HITTING THE LOWER A-FRAME AND COMING UNCLIPPED. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE, MY HUSBAND IS A MECHANIC, IT BECAME UNCLIPPED AND WRAPPED AROUND THE C.V SHAFT AND TORE THE CLAMP OFF THE OUTER BOOT AND GREASE WENT EVERYWHERE. *JB
TL*- THE CONTACT HAS A 1990 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX WITH AN ODOMETER READING OF 120000 MILES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE IS CURRENTLY HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS AS IN RECALL (00V189000) STRUCTURE. A CONDITION WHERE ONE OR BOTH FRONT ENGINE CRADLE BOLTS CAN PULL THROUGH THE RETAINERS DUE TO CORROSION OF THE RETAINERS. THE CONTACT HAS TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER THEY STATED THAT HIS VIN NUMBER IS NOT AFFECTED BY THE RECALL AND WOULD NOT REPAIR THE VEHICLE WITHOUT COST.

THE FIRE DEPARTMENT STATED THAT "THE FIRE STARTED IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT". THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. THE CURRENT AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE IS 89,000.
DUE TO THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH I DO NOT HAVE HAZARD OR BRAKE LIGHTS ON MY 2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX I DO KNOW THERE IS A INVESTIGATION ON IT NOW AND I KNOW MANY OTHERS IN MY AREA WHO I HAVE TALKED TO HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. IT IS NOT CHEAP TO FIX AND I'M UNABLE TO GET IF FIXED AT THE MOMENT SO I USE SOMEONE ELSE'S CAR WHEN I GO. THIS MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH HAS MY BRAKES AS WELL AS MY HAZARD WARNING LIGHT NOT WORKING. THIS IS A MANUFACTURER'S ERROR AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE SOON. *JB

THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 09V116000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). SHE IS CURRENTLY WAITING FOR A RESPONSE FROM THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 150.
I HAD A 2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX WITH 120,000 MILES, THAT HAD BEEN MOSTLY NO TROUBLE. WE HAD AN EXTENDED WARRANTY TIL 75,000 MILES, AND ALL THE ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. WHEN DRIVING HOME FROM WORK (<15MILES), I STOPPED AT THE GROCERY STORE FOR 20 MINUTES OR LESS. BEFORE I CAME OUT, MY CAR WAS TOTALLED IN FLAMES, AND 2 FIRE DEPARTMENTS WERE THERE DOUSING MY ENGINE. THERE WERE NO PRIOR LEAKS/NOISES/ WARNING LIGHTS. THIS OCCURRED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, 4:30PM, ALONG A MAJOR ROAD. MY HUSBAND IS A CERTIFIED IN ARSON INVESTIGATION, AND STATED THE FIRE BEGAN AT THE FRONT LEFT CORNER OF THE ENGINE, WHERE THE FUEL LINE IS. IT WAS MORE SEVERLY MELTED IN THAT AREA. WE HAD THE COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE DISCONTINUED ABOUT 2 MONTHS PRIOR,DUE TO HOUSE INSURANCE UP A THOUSAND DOLLARS, ETC, FROM THE HURRICANES, SO I HAD NO FIRE COVERAGE, AND AM OUT OF A VEHICLE. I CALLED GM, AND THEY OFFERED TO HAVE AN "INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATOR" LOOK AT IT FOR ANY POSSIBLE COMPENSATION. ( I DID NOT CALL THEM FOR MONEY, BUT CALLED TO REPORT THE INCIDENT, FOR SAFETY REASONS). THEIR 'INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATOR' REPORTED IT WAS 'IGNITED FROM AN OUTSIDE SOURCE, UNDERNEATH THE TRANSMISSION'. I ASSURE YOU THIS EXTENSIVE FIRE WAS NOT STARTED BY A CIGARETTE BUTT, AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY MAFFIA CHASING ME TO IGNITE MY CAR. I ASSURE YOU NO ONE IN BROAD DAYLIGHT ON A MAJOR ROAD TORCHED MY CAR. I AM VERY ANGRY WITH GM FOR MAKING SUCH A CLAIM. I HAD A VEHICLE THAN RAN WELL AND WAS PAID OFF OVER A YEAR AGO, AND WAS IN GOOD CONDITION...ASK ANYONE WHO I WORK WITH OR ANY NEIGHBOR. THE CONTACT STATED THERE HAD NOT BEEN ANY RECENT REPAIR WORK ON THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE INSURANCE COMPANY TOOK PICTURES OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD. 2000 PONTAIC GRAND PRIX GTP GREAT VEHICLE UNTIL I DROVE 30 MINUTES CAME BACK FROM LUNCH AND PARKED; 10 MIN LATER THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT COMPLETELY ON FIRE! THE HOT SPOT SEEM TO BE ON TOP OF THE ENGINE NEAR THE SUPERCHARGER AND MORE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. THERE HAS BEEN MANY MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS SAME THING HAPPENING TO THE GTP'S. VEHICLE HAD NO OTHER PROBLEMS BEFORE THIS, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON, ALL FLUIDS PERFECT AND SERVICED BY MYSELF A MECHANIC OF 15 YRS. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS BEFORE SOMEONE DIES FROM THIS. *JB
DROVE CAR FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES ON FREEWAY THEN PARKED IN A BANK PARKING LOT. TURNED CAR OFF AND WENT INTO BANK. ALL INDICATIONS ON DASH WHERE FINE THAT DAY AND CAR DROVE JUST FINE. ABOUT 15 MINUTES LATER, SOME ONE CAME INTO THE OFFICE I WAS AT AND ASKED IF ANYONE IN HERE HAS A BLACK GRAND PRIX. I WENT OUT AND FOUND THAT BLACK SMOKE AND FIRE WAS COMING OUT OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE PASSENGERS' SIDE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT HAD ALREADY BEEN CALLED. CAR THEN TRIED TO START ITSELF. FROM THE FRONT SEAT FORWARD, CAR WAS A TOTAL LOSS. *JB
UNABLE TO REMOVE KEY FROM IGNITION ONCE THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN PLACED IN PARK. I HAD THIS SERVICED TWICE BY A LOCAL PONTIAC DEALER, BUT THE PROBLEM REMAINS. *NM
I AM THE OWNER OF A 2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX AND MY TAILLIGHTS WERE BOTH NON OPERATIVE, WHICH RESULTED IN A NEAR MISS REAR END COLLISION. I LEARNED THAT THE CAUSE OF THIS MALFUNCTION WAS DUE TO A HAZARD SWITCH THAT WAS STUCK THAT TAKES OUT THE BRAKE LIGHTS WHEN THIS SWITCH MALFUNCTIONS. I HAD NO IDEA MY LIGHTS WERE OUT AND TRAVEL EVERY WEEK END ON THE INTERSTATE. MY VEHICLE WAS LITERALLY AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER, A FIRE ERUPTED FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WITHOUT WARNING. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ALERTED, AND EXTINGUISHED THE FLAMES. THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED EXTENSIVE FIRE DAMAGE, AND WAS DEEMED TOTALED BY THE INSURANCE ADJUSTOR. THE POLICE WERE ALSO ALERTED, AND A REPORT WAS TAKEN. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT INSPECTED THE VEHICLE, AND DETERMINED THE FIRE ORIGINATED FROM THE BATTERY OR THE FUSE PANEL. ALSO, A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE MANUFACTURER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE, AND DETERMINED THE FIRE STARTED FROM THE BATTERY OR FUSE PANEL . I WAS STOPPED BY A COP BECAUSE MY BRAKE LIGHTS DIDN'T WORK. I REPLACED THE BULBS THINKING THAT'S WHAT IT WAS, BUT THEY STILL DIDN'T WORK. IT TURNS OUT THAT MY CENTER WINDOW BRAKE LIGHT WORKS BUT NOT MY BRAKE LIGHTS. APART FROM THAT MY HAZARD LIGHT IS STUCK. CAR STARTED MAKING A CLUNCKING NOISE. PARKED CAR TILL SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK CAME IN. TOOK CAR TO GARAGE WHERE I FOUND OUT THAT I NEED A SWAY BAR, CONTROL ARM BUSHING AND TIE ROD (RIGHT SIDE). UPON CALLING FOR PRICES, I FOUND OUT THAT MANY CARS OF THIS MODEL ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. I THINK THEY GOT A BAD BATCH OF SWAY BARS. BEING ON DISABILITY, THE COST ARE OUTRAGEOUS AND THE REPAIRS HAVE NOT BEEN MADE AS OF YET, LEAVING DISABLED PEOPLE WITH NO TRANSPORTATION FOR MEDICAL CARE. *NM
VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED TO CURE A HARD STEERING PROBLEM. VEHICLE WAS HAVING TROUBLES TURNING TO THE RIGHT. REPAIR SHOP FOUND THE STEERING RACK WAS LEAKING. MANY OTHER OWNERS OF THIS VEHICLE HAVE ALSO SUBMITTED COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS SAME PROBLEM. GM SHOULD RECALL THIS VEHICLE FOR THIS PROBLEM. *JB

UPON IMPACT, THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED FACIAL INJURIES, INCLUDING THE LOSS OF 13 TEETH AND SHOULDER DAMAGE. THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED MAJOR DAMAGE.
