My 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 back up cam is not working. Just a blue screen. As of last night, my bed tailgate will not open. It is an electric tailgate. Pushing on the lid while trying to open does nothing, as suggested by Reddit. There is no power to the electric latch.
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while his son was driving at 40 MPH, the steering wheel seized with no warning light illuminated. The vehicle slid off the road, crashed into several trees, and sideswiped a telephone pole when it came to a stop. There was no damage to the telephone pole. The air bag did deploy during the crash. No injuries were sustained, and no medical attention was provided. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the steering module had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure recurred when the steering wheel seized. The vehicle was taken back to the same independent mechanic, where it was confirmed that the failure was a manufacturer's defect with the steering rack. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the steering rack and the power steering module. The vehicle was repaired under warranty. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 20,0000.
>> RAM eTorque 5.7L V8 motor stopped and emergency brake activated without warning. >> I was driving on [XXX] (*5 lanes of traffic*) in Phoenix AZ just after rush hour. The sudden deceleration of the vehicle put my wife, son, and me at extreme risk of being struck from behind by one or more vehicles traveling in excess of 65 miles per hour. >> There are multiple reports of this failure in this model of RAM truck/engine dating back to 2021. >> NHTSA opened PE24-018 to collect and analyze detailed information regarding possible causes for this issue (ref. attached letter from NHTSA in September 2024). >> There were no warning or error indicators visible on the driver dashboard/console displays. Vehicle flashed SOS call not available on the radio. Then noticed airbag light on. Immediately went to the dealership and was informed the sensor is out and therefore the airbags are not functional. The part was supposed to be ordered only to find out more than a week later that the part is unavailable. The vehicle is without airbags and without emergency call if the airbags were to deploy. Have escalated to Chrysler corporate for parts expedition however that has done nothing either. There is no estimated part replacement time. I found online where there is a superseding part however it only works supposedly on the 23 and 24 model years. They got the part in and said that it would work if they changed the airbag module. But I would have to pay for the module.
Going thru neighborhood stop signs, stopped at the first one and when i tried to take off I noticed the gas pedal wasn't accelerating vehicle like normal/ felt like a transmission slipping issue, but it finally "hooked up" and surged forward 100 feet to next stop sign, and after i stopped I hit gas pedal again only to stall out and roll thru the intersection. Brakes were almost unresponsive, and rolled about 60 seconds until truck finally shifted into park on its own and applied emergency brake. After the truck got to a complete stop, it started back up and drove fine the final 2 minutes of the drive home. No warnings/ check engine lights/ malfunction messages were displayed, no obvious signs of issues. 1. The malfunctioning component would be the motor, as it stalled out for seemingly no reason. But issue could be incorrect supply (voltage/ fuel/ air/) so something like the (fuel pump/ alternator/ control modules) could be actual culprit why truck stalled out 2. The safety of me and my passengers was at risk because we stalled out in the middle of an intersection, had it been a stop sign on a road with flowing traffic moving above 25 mph, an accident would most certainly be a good possibility. 3. The problem hasn't been reproduced by dealer or mechanic. Research into this topic yields countless similar issues with similar year and models by Ram. 4. No, vehicle want inspected by anyone but myself. This occurred in a small neighborhood with little to no traffic and no accident resulted from the truck shutting off. 5. Only symptom was a few seconds earlier, where from a complete stop it felt like the gas pedal wasn't responding at all, low rpm and almost stalling, then all the sudden the transmission "slipped" into gear and surged forward. The next stop sign 100 feet ahead is where the truck stalled and wouldn't start for a minute as i rolled uncontrollably thru the intersection, and it finally hard shifted into park and applied e-brake
On more than five occasions, the engine shut off without warning and the emergency brake and battery light came on. All instances occurred when I was slowing down at a stop sign or attempting to turn. I have taken my truck to at least 3 differend dealerships regarding the issues. The Horne dealership in Show Low, AZ, connected a code reader and stated it could be the eco battery system and if I drove the truck more it would most likely recharge on its own. They further stated it was a low etorque battery system malfunction. No paperwork was initiated. The Jim Marsh dealership in Las Vegas, stated they knew what the probem was and it would be 10 days to get the part in to make the repair. They gave me a rental car under my Mopar warranty and sent me on my way as I was out of state. The next day they called me and stated it was fixed and put in a new standard battery (which I paid for) and not the etorque battery. One month later the same thing occurred. The engine shut off again without warning. I'm in the process of taking it back to my local dealership.
My 2022 Ram 1500 TRX has recurring safety-related failures of the infotainment system affecting both Uconnect 5 (12” screen) and earlier Uconnect 4 units. These issues are widespread in 2021–2024 Ram TRX and Ram 1500 models and began or worsened after forced over-the-air updates. The primary defect is black-screen failures while driving. When the screen goes black or freezes, the truck loses all functions controlled through the display, including HVAC/defrost, backup camera, vehicle settings, seat controls, and performance gauges. This creates an immediate safety hazard: I cannot adjust climate/defrost, cannot see the required rear-view camera when shifting to reverse, and cannot access key vehicle information. Owners across multiple years consistently report: • Black screens, freezes, and reboots • Loss of HVAC control and dual-zone functions • Backup camera not displaying • Vehicle/Apps tabs failing to open • Uconnect error messages • Smaller, harder-to-read gauges after updates • Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto failures • No option to decline or roll back OTA updates These failures distract the driver, remove access to federally required equipment (rear camera), and eliminate visibility and climate controls that directly affect safe operation. The system becomes unpredictable and unstable despite the vehicle being in motion. My vehicle experiences the same issues, including: Radio reboots without notice(sometimes volume is very high), black screen while driving, loss of HVAC, camera not available, system rebooting, etc. Because this affects essential safety-related controls and visibility, I believe this is a safety defect in Ram/Stellantis Uconnect 4 and Uconnect 5 systems. I request NHTSA open a defect investigation and require Ram to correct these failures.
Towards the end of the summer of 2024 I received a recall notice #79B, rearview camera visibility. I brought my vehicle to Rockland CJD in Nanuet in September 2024, I was informed at that time that there was not a repair to correct the situation. I have since received another recall notice #97A also rearview camera visibility. I brought my vehicle to Rockland CJD today 04/10/2025 for service and to resolve the recall. I have been told that neither recall could be found through searching up the VIN. My vehicle is experiencing the problems described in the notice, blue screen or no display when shifted in reverse. I would like to be able to have this situation taken care of.
Motor Generator Unit Failure
E torque system on this truck has had several problems Factory did replace it, but still has issues Before replacing the system, my truck shut down in the middle road several times very dangerous After replacing the system, I now get strange issues remote start stop won't work Had several situations with the truck, stopping and starting again
The Safety of my wife and two Sons was put at risk when the Brakes of the vehicle failed to respond, which put another driver at risk as well The problem has been confirmed by a professional investigator working directly for Chrysler stating that Due to a brake hose tear triggered by a bad factory design of the distribution of the hoses and harness on this specific vehicle model there were no warning lamps, messages our other symptoms at any time since the purchase of the vehicle
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving at 70 MPH, the driver’s side sun visor became inoperable. The contact stated that the sun visor inadvertently detached, and the contact had to forcefully reattach the sun visor. The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 26,000.
The information system with the back up camera will lock up and not display the back up view or will display a view as a photo and not a video. It is making a loud buzzing noise when it is happening. It will then shut down and restart on its own, this usually takes about 2 minutes and then it is OK until i turn it off and restart it again. Does not happen every time but I would say that it happens 3 out of 5 times I start the vehicle.
Twice while coasting at between 5 & 10 mph, the engine shuts down, a warning shows auto disabled, and applies emergency brake before one can even get the transmission into park. Our concern is that this sudden stop could cause us to be hit from behind. We brought it to a Ram dealership in Hartsville, SC and they could not reproduce problem and have no idea what caused it.
When giving the vehicle gas after a stop sign. The vehicle threw itself into emergency break and shut off in the middle of an intersection. Had to turn off the emergency brake and restart the vehicle. This has happened multiple times. The vehicle almost stalls consistently after coming out of a stop sign or making a slow right turn.
2022 ram with 26,000 miles and the fuel pump is failing, check engine light on with a small emissions system leak as well. Upholstery under the driver and rear passenger seat is detached with exposed zippers. Truck is falling apart before it even reaches 30,000 miles but because of the time frame, despite the low miles and mostly highway driving in a rural area, out of warranty
I purchased the truck used five days ago from a dealership and today the engine shut off on me approximately 12 times. Most occurred while putting the truck into reverse or drive. I was exiting my driveway and the engine turned off halfway into the street. I was unable to move it and since I had to pick up my child, I left the truck halfway in my drive way and half on the street. When I returned home I was able to drive the truck, but approximately 7 minutes later it turned off on me when I turned into a shopping center. The last two times it turned off on me (all on the same day) it occurred while I was on the freeway driving approximately 70 mph. The engine just shut off so I pulled over to the side of the freeway. I was able to drive it shortly after, but then it occurred again. I was able to drive it home approximately 12 miles away without further incidents.
On March 12th, 2025, I was driving the truck on cruise control at 70 mph on the toll road with no shoulder. The truck rpm gauge went to zero as well as all other gauges. The truck went to shut down mode, I then put the truck in neutral it would not let me start it so I applied the brake to stop the truck, then put it in park. The emergency brake light was on so I had to release it and the truck restarted . Note this stall happened the middle of the highway, luckily , no one came up on me while the truck was stalled. We took it to 2 different Dodge dealers today and they both say there is not a stored fault code or active code, therefore there is nothing they can do to resolve this issue. This is very frightening as I do not know if or when this could happen again.
More than once now the vehicle has applied its parking brake, the engine stalled, and stopped the vehicle in the middle of the road. It then required me to reset the emergency brake to “release”, return the shifter knob to park, and restart the vehicle in the middle of busy intersections!!
When the vehicle is cold, after about a mile of driving coming to a four way stop, the vehicle stalled in the middle of a busy intersection and applied the emergency brake. An error message came up to service the electronic throttle control. A few miles later a message came regarding the battery saver and the battery light was lit. This came two days after being at the dealer for this issue where they found nothing! After doing a simple google search it appears to be a known issue.
Vehicle has shut off for no apparent reason when slowing and turning. This has occurred three times in the last year. This is very unsafe and I believe there are recalls for the same make/model vehicle built in prior years.
Vehicle stalled while driving. Causing sudden loss of engine power and related functions such as power steering. Cause was do to water intrusion from rear window leaking on to a control module RF Module. The leak is common in thousands of ram trucks over several years. They’ve attempted to address it for some years but not all. Having such an important piece of equipment under a window which they know is prone to leaking is irresponsible and negligent. Had I been at higher speed this could have been deadly.
This vehicle stalls while driving. • The engine shuts off without warning • The vehicle shifts into park and applies the emergency brake • The vehicle has a malfunction warning light with a battery fault symbol • The vehicle has a "low voltage condition fault"
on 2 separate occasions, I experienced a low speed stall when pulling out and turning at intersections. After the stall, the vehicle placed itself in park and activated the emergency brake. In both instances, the stall occurred after I had partially entered an intersection, representing a safety hazard. In both instances, the vehicle was able to be restarted quickly.
Engine shut off unexpectedly while moving at a slow speed, while making a turn. The vehicle shifted into park and applied the emergency brake automatically.
In October 2024, my 2022 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, which I purchased brand new from Lynch Ram in Wisconsin, suffered a catastrophic fuel system failure while I was driving. The fuel rail—previously under recall—cracked, spraying diesel fuel all over the engine bay and sending smoke and fumes through the cabin vents. While the truck didn’t catch fire, the situation posed a serious safety risk. I had to have it towed to Zeigler Ram in Downers Grove, Illinois, where they confirmed that the failure was due to the known recall issue. They replaced the part under warranty, despite previously stating that the necessary component had been unavailable for months. Fast forward to February 2025, and the exact same issue occurred again while I was on a road trip to Michigan. Once again, the fuel rail cracked, spraying fuel over the engine and sending fumes into the cabin. My truck was towed to Zeigler Ram in Grandville, Michigan, where it's now awaiting repairs. This means the replacement part only lasted four months before failing in the same dangerous manner. Serious Safety Concerns Fire Hazard: Diesel fuel being sprayed onto a hot engine creates a significant risk of ignition, which could lead to an engine fire while driving. Cabin Fumes Exposure: Diesel fumes entering the ventilation system can cause driver impairment, dizziness, nausea, and other health risks, especially on long drives. Repeat Failure in a Critical System: A fuel system defect that fails twice in four months raises concerns about the quality of the replacement parts and whether the manufacturer has truly resolved the issue.
There is premature bearing ware on the E-Torque alternator. When taken into dealer was told not to drive the vehicle due to the fact the vehicle will eventually lose power and may be stranded. When taken in was not given a time line for when the part will be in. When looking on line noticed there is approximately 4200 parts on back order . Some individuals stating they have been waiting 3-4 months. While the vehicle sits in the drive way waiting for part still have to make payments and trying to find rides to work which is over an hour each way!!
A few days ago (18 Feb 2025)Truck died while coming to a stop light. Would not immediately start, out on flashers and continued to attempt to start. After a few minutes I was able to start and proceeded on my way. Truck has never done this and dash board did not indicate any issues.
Having a different electrical issues with this vehicle since I purchased it, of course the warranty has fallen off after just bringing it in for diagnosis for different reasons. Now it’s winter time and the truck will not start without a jump. I took it to get tested. Everything came back One thing that stood out at the auto parts store that the dealership could not find, kind of frustrating. The report reads no valid data available for ESM on CAN - C or CAND-PT with the codes U1267x2 and u1267-00 power training system. ABS- c2206-00 c2100-9a I’m hoping for help as now the truck is shortly out of warranty with miles now being 36400 miles. I also acknowledge that the car was cut out while driving at one point before all this happened. They couldn’t find anything so now I’m at a point where the truck doesn’t start without a jump I could probably take a video and show you right now. It’s probably dead. I went on vacation a week of Feb 8 out of town and I had to call my insurance company to give it a jump. There are other times the truck stall or cut off while driving. They drove the car and still couldn’t find the issues that I had and it’s starting to happen again.. so far Falls Dodge has been accommodating, but it’s very frustrating. You can’t find the solution to this vehicle. Please call me at your convenience. [XXX] On the feb INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
Vehicle cut off in middle of intersection, locked emergency brake a d turned on battery light. Took several min to get vehicle operational. This put my family and I in grave danger. This issue has bee. Reported by priovious owner also. Very scary
Fuel Rail leaking from rail seem. Appears to be along the entire rail where the top is joined to the bottom part of the rail.
Engine will stall and autoshift in to park and apply emergency parking brake. Happens when trying to accelerate away from a stop. Very dangerous when trying to pull out into traffic. No warning lights or messages on dash.
When attempting to merge with traffic and accelerate quickly the transmission occasionally will stay locked in a lower gear leading the engine to stall out causing a collision risk. This usually occurs when attempting to accelerate quickly. When accelerating from a stopped position, there is a delay in power which requires the operator to time their merges in anticipation of this problem. This also caused the vehicle to lurch forward adding to the risks of accidental collision.
When driving home on a rainy day on an active interstate road, 66 west bound lane my truck turned off engine. I was in right hand lane so I was able to coast to side of road. Once stopped the truck automatically on its own went into park. I could start truck but when I put it in gear to drive would automatically go back into park giving warning message shifter autocorrect active. Truck was towed to closest Ram dealership. It was determined third brake light seal was leaking and water ran down to the RF hub module and fried it. From reviews online I saw this was a common issue but it don’t see where this is a recall to be addressed. Differently a safety issue when driving and truck turns off. Luckily I was in right lane to get off this active road. I have repair cost receipt if needed. I called my insurance company for the tow. Geico.
On two occasions the engine has stalled while trying to accelerate from a stop sign. Both instances were not complete stops and when I tried to accelerate, a warning chime sounded and the engine shut off. I shifted the vehicle into park and it applied the parking break. When restarted the battery light was on and the voltage going to the battery was low. About half of what it normally is. I shut off the vehicle and opened the driver door to "reset" the system and then started the truck. Once I did this there were no issues on my 25 minute drive to work. The engine was not completely up to operating temperature quite yet but was more than halfway there. On another occasion this winter I was stopped at a stop light at the engine shut off as it noramlly would with the E-torque system. When the light turned green I released the brake pedal and went to accelerate and the engine never restarted. I went through a similar procedure to get the truck started again although it did take longer than this morning.
Had system update to correct previous recall issue for backing camera. Update completed, but changed display. Display is no longer showing critical applications and is consistent with NHTSA complaint 11638513.
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving 30 MPH, the vehicle stalled. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road. The vehicle failed to restart and was towed to the residence. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 41,000.
The complaints describe instances where the engine shuts off unexpectedly, often while the vehicle is moving at a slow speed. Sometimes, the vehicle shifts into park and applies the emergency brake automatically. Additionally, the vehicles sometimes cannot be restarted, and drivers have reported seeing a malfunction warning light with a battery fault symbol on the dashboard. This i found on the internet bud is only mentioned to happen with the v8 hemi etorgue and it is under investigation or something like that. Well, i got the 3.6 V6 engine also with etorque, and i got thid stalling issue 2 times a week now. I dont feel save because what if this happens at a railway crossing? It takes me like 5-10 seconds to put the car in P and taking off the electrical parkingbrake, push the starterbutton and putting the car in D! Please help me on this one.
Due to a leak on the back sliding window water entered the vehicle and caused the “RFO” box to break. Dealership told me that is the box that connects the fob keyes to the truck causing the truck to not recognize any keys.
The contact owned a 2022 RAM 1500. The contact stated that after leaving the dealer from completing the recall remedy for an unknown recall related to the fuel pump and while driving at 20 MPH, half a mile from leaving the dealer, the vehicle started to smoke and an abnormal sound came from the vehicle as the front windshield cracked. The check engine warning light illuminated. The contact then tried to make a U-turn and return to the dealer. The vehicle suddenly stopped and shut off. Other drivers started to honk in an effort to alert the contact that there were flames coming from the vehicle. The contact then saw smoke coming out of the front part of the vehicle and exited the vehicle. The Fire Department was on scene and extinguished the fire. The origin of the fire was unknown. The fire took place at the intersection of [XXX] . The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The insurance company deemed the vehicle a total loss. The vehicle was consumed by the fire. The contact was the only occupant in the vehicle and sustained emotional distress that did not require medical attention. The failure mileage was approximately 20,970. **DANGEROUS STALL OUT ISSUE** RAM 1500. Typically 2-4 minutes into driving on random mornings after warming truck up for 5-10 minutes, I go to give it gas and the engine stalls out in the middle of an intersection, sometimes with oncoming traffic. No check engine light at all. Autobrake engages. Put it in park and restart. No issues the rest of the day…until the next morning. Has happened multiple times. Took it to ram/mopar service. They couldn’t find any issues. Replaced the eTorque alternator. Still having the same issue.
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving 10-15 MPH, the vehicle lost power steering functionality temporarily. The contact stated that the failure recurred intermittently while driving. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with low voltage failure. The mechanic replaced the battery; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced a permanent power steering failure. The vehicle was towed to K B's Auto Lab, where it was diagnosed that the power steering control module (PSCM) had failed. The mechanic contacted the manufacturer and was informed that the vehicle could not be covered because the warranty had expired. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Action Number: EA19004 (Steering). The dealer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 44,000. The VIN was not available.
1/21/24 was at a stop light. vehicle was idling. tried to accelerate. vehicle cut off, ebrake was applied electronically, check engine light came on and remains on.
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Gauge cluster doesn't shut off, which kills the electrical system. This is likely due to a known issue from FCA as noted in Customer Satisfaction Notification 48A. FCA claims my truck is not affected even though it has the same Electronic Shifter Module, as well as is the same Model, Trim, Year... Just not the right VIN. The fix is a software update. They know the software in my truck is faulty, but won't update it in compliance with 48A. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Truck leaves me stranded if left not running for too long. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? No, I can reproduce it myself reliably... I have an appointment with the Ram dealer on 3/14/25. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No. I purchased the Truck [XXX]... the issues started within a few weeks. It has killed the battery 3 times now. Here is the existing notice 48A... My truck SHOULD BE ON THIS LIST! PLEASE HELP! I was stopped at a red light and the auto start/stop shut off my engine normally. When the light changed to green, I took my foot off the brake and the engine would not re-start. The transmission shifted to Neutral and the electric parking brake engaged. I had to shift the transmission to Park, and press the start button to re-start the engine.
Was driving on interstate coming home from Texas when we encountered a winter storm that was producing freezing rain. We were running the defroster on high to stop the ice buildup that was occurring on the windshield when the air suddenly stopped blowing through the defroster vents and diverted to the floor vents. Our safety and others was compromised by the ice being able to build up and significantly reducing our visibility effectively causing us to have to stop on the offramps to de-ice the windshield. Against my better judgement I did not take vehicle to the dealer because other drivers of similar vehicles had reported that they have experienced similar results in similar conditions. There were no warning lamps or prior symptoms associated with this event.
I am writing to file a complaint regarding a serious safety issue with the backup camera system in my Ram 1500.Issue: Since [Date of Issue], the backup camera display on the 12.1-inch screen has been significantly reduced in size. It now occupies only half of the screen, with vehicle controls (climate, audio, etc.) occupying the lower portion. This unexpected change in functionality occurred without any prior notification or explanation. Safety Hazards: Reduced Rearward Visibility: The diminished camera display size severely compromises rearward visibility while backing up. This significantly increases the risk of collisions with pedestrians, cyclists, and other vehicles, particularly children and low-lying objects. Driver Distraction: The presence of vehicle controls within the camera view creates a significant distraction for the driver during a critical maneuver. This distraction further increases the risk of accidents. Obstructed View: The smaller camera view may obstruct crucial areas behind the vehicle, potentially obscuring children, pets, or other obstacles from the driver's view. Widespread Issue: Research on online forums, including the Ram Forum, indicates that this issue is not isolated and affects multiple Ram 1500 owners with the 12.1-inch display. This suggests a potential systemic software or hardware issue. Dealership Inability to Resolve: I have visited the dealership on [01/17/2025] to address this issue, but they have been unable to resolve it. Requested Action: I request that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) thoroughly investigate this serious safety issue. I urge NHTSA to determine whether this constitutes a safety defect in the Ram 1500 and, if necessary, initiate a recall to address this issue and ensure the safety of all Ram 1500 drivers.
When accelerating from being stopped at a stop light the vehicle spontaneously shut off and the emergency brake engaged. I was able to restart the vehicle and disengage the brake and drive. Check engine light came on, the start / stop function is disabled and the remote start is disabled. Vehicle is giving engine code P1C64 with the check engine light one.
ON 12/31/2024 I was turning right onto a street and my vehicle shut off. There was no power steering or power brakes. The battery light came on and some warning about battery saver emitted. The vehicle would not restart so I had it towed to Larson Dodge in Puyallup, WA. I have a gas, 5.7 L E-torgue engine. Also, the left turn blinker does not always cancel itself and the vehicle was in the shop previously for this, but they could not replicate the issue. Both issues are a safety issue. The dealership stated they were unable to resolve the matter so they contacted their engineers. Its alleged that they are sending some type of module which will not be here until 1/28/25.
The vehicle stalls while driving. I’ve had 6 occurrences all intermittent. The truck is in motion and at any speed. It happened in a roundabout, uphill at 45 mph, while doing a Detroit left, while coasting when approaching a stop light at 30 mph, while turning left into my neighborhood and on the highway with the cruise control on. When it happens I lose steering and power brakes. It terrifying. I’ve been to the dealer and they couldn’t replicate the issue. They are going to put a monitor on. I have read that it may be connected to a faulty electric motor in the drive system. It can happen at any speed in any conditions.
