The abs / traction light continues to flash on and off. When light is on the abs and traction control does not work. Cruise control is also disabled when the lights come on. To repair the problem is a 1,000 dollar abs aluminum block and abs module. Plus labor. Thank you for your time and help
BACK UP CAMERA SCREEN IS TOO DARK, EVEN ON THE LIGHTEST CONTROL SETTING. I'VE BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO TWO DEALERSHIPS AND OPENED A COMPLAINT WITH THE COMPANY'S CUSTOMER CARE. I'VE BEEN TOLD THE CAMERA IS OPERATING NORMAL OR AN ADDITIONAL CAMERA SHOULD BE INSTALLED AT MY EXPENSE (THIS CAMERA WOULD ONLY DISPLAY THE TRUCK BED) PLUS MY TRUCK IS NOT EQUIPPED FOR THIS FEATURE
UPON MAXIMUM EMERGENCY BRAKING AT ANY SPEED, THE TRUCK STOPS AS IF THE BRAKES WHERE WET, IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP WHEN TOWING A UNLOADED 16 FOOT UTILITY TRAILER DOWN HILL IT JUST KEEPS ON GOING UNTIL YOU REACH BOTTOM. TAKEN TO DODGE DEALERSHIP THEY SAY IT'S NORMAL BUT THEY SAY OTHER TRUCKS LIKE CHEVY 2500 CAN STOP A TRAIN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 RAM 2500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE GEAR SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL AND ROLLED DOWN THE CONTACT'S DRIVEWAY INTO A POND. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (CAVENAUGH CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE, 118 E POPLAR ST, WALNUT RIDGE, AR 72476, (870)-886-2414) WHERE IT WAS AWAITING DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND REPAIRS BY THE MANUFACTURER FIELD INSPECTOR. OUR DODGE RAM 6.7 2500 2018, CASE, HARVEST EDITOR CAUGHT ON FIRE WITHIN A WEEK OF PURCHASE, WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY TOWING. AT TIME OF PURCHASE IT HAD 555 MILES ON IT, AND WE'D ONLY DRIVEN IT 3 TIME PRIOR TO THIS. WE WERE DRIVING BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT. THE TRUCK STARTING LOOSING POWER, WE SAW A LITTLE SMOKE IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. AS WE SLOWED THE SMOKE INCREASED. UPON LIFTING THE HOOD, TRANSMISSION FLUID WAS SQUATTING OUT ACROSS THE ENGINE PORING ON THE GROUND, FLAMES WERE MOVING ALONG THE BACK OF THE FIRE WALL. WE PUT THE FIRE OUT OURSELVES PRIOR TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVING. OUR INSURANCE INVESTIGATOR SAID IT WAS A WARRANTY ISSUES, DEFECTIVE TRANSMISSION LINE. HE ALSO SAID THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT ANYTHING THAT WE COULD HAVE OR MIGHT HAVE DONE. CHRYSLER'S INVESTIGATIONS REVEALED THAT IT WAS ALSO A WARRANTY ISSUE.

ABS and traction control continously comes on and off. Recieved safety recall almost a year ago. Have been to my local dealership several times over the last year to get recall fixed. Went as recently as today. Each time I am being told no parts / fix is available. It is my understanding this is a major safety concern and it is unacceptable not to have a fix.
Abs control module defective been having this problem for over five years. Ram just keeps saying no parts available. That they are working on solution. I think they are dragging there feet on purpose hoping the trucks will wear out before they have to fix. These companies need to be held accountable. Thanks for any help
THE WINTER STORM WARNING KEEPS POPPING UP ON MY SCREEN AND IVE SEARCHED EVERYTHING TO NO AVAIL OF DISCONNECTING.... THIS IS AGRAVATING AND DISTRACTING HELP THIS IS ALSO DANGEROUS WHILE MOVING ,,,DISTRACTING
I received notification of a recall in November,2025. However, Ram has still not come up with a resolution. This is almost a year without ABS on my truck. The Traction Control, ABS, and parking brake lights are all illuminated and the cruise control does not work. My wife refuses to drive my truck without ABS, traction control, and cruise control.
Since the recall was announced, my truck has experienced constant ABS and traction control alarms, including an unending beeping warning chime that makes the vehicle unpleasant and unsafe to drive. My local Ram dealer confirms that the repair parts (HCU/ABS module) are not available and that there is no estimated time frame for replacement. This situation has now persisted for months, leaving me with: •A continuously beeping alarm while driving or idling, •A loss of confidence in braking and safety systems, •And a significant loss in resale value, since I cannot sell or trade the vehicle while this open safety recall remains unresolved. Impact This recall defect has made my vehicle effectively undriveable and unsellable. I have made multiple attempts to have it repaired, but the dealer and Stellantis representatives continue to tell me that parts remain on national backorder. As a result, I am deprived of the safe and normal use of my property. Under 49 U.S.C. § 30120, a manufacturer must provide a free and timely remedy for a safety defect. The ongoing delay and the lack of any interim solution (such as a loaner or disabling the alarm) clearly violate the spirit of this requirement and constitute a constructive deprivation of use. Requested Action I respectfully request that Stellantis: 1.Provide a functional remedy immediately (replacement HCU or equivalent). 2.If parts are still unavailable, provide a loaner vehicle, temporary compensation, or buyback option until the repair can be made. 3.Confirm in writing the expected date when replacement parts will be available for my VIN. I am filing a concurrent complaint with NHTSA to document this safety-related hardship and ongoing loss of vehicle use and value. Documentation Available upon request: •Copy of dealer service report indicating unavailable parts. •Photographs/videos showing active ABS and traction control alarms. •Records of my prior attempts to schedule service.
Have waited for one year plus to get part replaced for NHTA recall #24V-896. ABS/ESC/ Traction control module. Dealerships say part is not available and to wait. In my opinion this is a safety hazard.
