Defect Description
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The power distribution center may prevent the trailer turn signal lights and taillights from operating as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Safety Consequence
Trailer taillights and turn signal lights that do not illuminate as intended can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the power distribution center, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 2, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 57B.
