THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE TEMPORARILY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 154,016. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
TRACTION AND ESC SERVICE WARNINGS COME ON RANDOMLY. CAR REDUCES ENGINE POWER RANDOMLY. CAR JERKS RANDOMLY AND WILL NOT ACCELERATE IN TRAFFIC. COOLANT LEAKS BUT COOLANT WARNING DOES NOT ACTIVATE, CAR OVERHEATS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH DOWN A HILL, WHEN BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESS AND FAILED TO STOP/LOW DOWN THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED SHE HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE WHILE TRYING TO DIVERT THE VEHICLE TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. THE CONTACT STATED AFTER PUMPING THE BRAKE PEDAL SEVERAL TIMES SHE WAS ABLE TO SLOW THE VEHICLE TO A STOP. THE CONTACT STATED SHE SAW SMOKE COMING FROM VENTS ON THE DASHBOARD. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO EXIT THE VEHICLE SAFELY AND SAW FIRE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND FILED A REPORT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES SUSTAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DRIVABLE AND WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED AS OF YET. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE GEAR SHIFTER REMAINED STUCK IN THIRD GEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WAS CALLED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED, BUT THE CONTACT WAS NOT ABLE TO SPEAK WITH A REPRESENTATIVE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 150,000.
FAILURE OF THE WAVE PLATE. MY VEHICLE HAS ONLY 82,000 MILES AND THE WAVE PLATE IS FAILING. I'M UNABLE TO REVERSE AND THE GEARS SHIFT WHILE DRIVING. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE IN GM CARS AND THEY REFUSE TO REPAIR. UNFORTUNATELY, A SINGLE SPECIAL BULLETIN WAS SENT OUT AND MY VEHICLE MET THE CRITERIA FOR MILEAGE BUT WAS 5 MONTHS PASS THE 10 YEAR MARK. SINCE THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE ALL VEHICLES SHOULD BE RECALLED AND A FIX SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED OR A REIMBURSEMENT PROVIDED TO OTHERS DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE IN DESIGN. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO DO HARD SHIFTS WHILE DRIVING. MY SON, 16 YEARS OLD, WAS DRIVING AND DUE TO HIS INEXPERIENCE HE COULD HAVE HAD AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE THE VEHICLE BECAME DIFFICULT TO DRIVE.
I SUFFERED A POWER STEERING FAILURE, IT WAS LISTED IN A RECALL AS A PROBLEM FOR SATURN AURA 2008 BUT MY VIN NUMBER DOESN'T RESULT IN THEIR RECALL. I HAD THE SAME ISSUE, I CALL THEM AND SAID THAT MY CAR WASN'T LISTED IN THE RECALL. I ALMOST CRASH 3 TIMES AND THEY DON'T WANT TO FIX THE PROBLEM. IT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS TRY TO TURN IN A BUSY STREET AND END UP ON A LAWN. THEY ARE SAYING THAT I HAVE TO PAY EVERYTHING OUT OF POCKET AND THAT IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT. BUT IT'S THE EXACT SAME ISSUE THAT THEY DESCRIBED IN THE SAME MODEL AND YEAR OF THE CAR. I WAS LUCKY THIS TIME BUT I FEARED FOR MY LIFE
NO AIR BAD DEPLOYMENT AT ALL. MY 21 YEAR OLD SON WAS KILLED. IGNITION KEEPED CUTTING OFF
I HAVE A RECALL COMPLAINT... RECALL#: 14E044000 --STEERING; THE WHEEL IS STIFF AND HARD TO TURN RECALL#: 14V153000 --STEERING: ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM; HARD TO TURN WHEEL, LEAKING PS FLUID, NO LONGER HAS WHINING NOISE. VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AND TURNING I HAD PREVIOUSLY REPLACED MY BATTERY, BECAUSE I CONSTANTLY HAD TO USE A BATTERY BOOSTER TO START IT AFTER EVERY TIME I SHUT THE CAR OFF, AND THE FORMER ONE BECAME FAULTY AND IT TESTED AS A BAD BATTERY. WITHIN 2 DAYS OF REPLACING THE BATTERY, THE PS FLUID RAPIDLY STARTED LEAKING AFTER STARTING THE CAR IGNITION AND THE STEERING WHEEL IS STIFF AND VERY HARD TO TURN NOW. I'VE PUT MORE PS FLUID IN MY CAR, BUT IT DOESN'T HELP THE STIFF STEERING AT ALL ALMOST AS IF I NEVER EVEN PUT ANY PS FLUID IN IT TO BEGIN WITH. I'M ALSO HAVING AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE TO WHERE WHEN I GO TO PUT ON MY BRAKES SOMETIMES, IT'LL DIM MY LIGHTS AT THE SAME TIME WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD.

MORGAN BUICK GMC SHREVEPORT (8757 BUSINESS PARK DR, SHREVEPORT, LA 71105, (318) 798-1600) WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE CONTACT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR COST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 142,285.
TRANSMISSION JUMPS FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR AND WILL NOT ACCELERATE.
I TAKE MY VEHICLE AT MARTIN CHEVROLET ON 02/22/2019 FOR THE INCOMPLETE RECALL TO BE FIX AFTER A DAY MY VEHICLE START HAVING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON AIR BAG TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT ON TAIL LIGHT NOT WORKING WIPER BLADE STOP WORKING THE CONSEQUENCE THAT ANY OF THE MENTION ISSUES WILL CAUSE FAILURE CONDITIONS INCREASES THE RISK OF FATAL ACCIDENT I WANT ALL THESE ISSUES TO BE RESOLVED.
I WOULD NOT EVEN FILL OUT THIS FORM IF THE THINGS I AM ABOUT TO WRITE DOWN DID NOT HAPPEN AT SUCH AN UNEXPLAINED AND WITH EXTREME PROGRESSION. THE CAR STARTED OFF WITH JUST A WOBBLE AND A JERK. WHICH NOW HAS PROGRESSED TO THE TRACTION LIGHT POPPING ON AND OFF; THE CAR SWAYS FROM SIDE TO SIDE SO DANGEROUSLY IT IS NOW ALMOST NOT DRIVABLE; THE PASSENGER SIDE TIRE HAS STARTED TO FLATTEN AND WEAR AND TEAR VERY FAST, EVEN AFTER GETTING BRAND NEW TIRES, NOW ALL OF THE TIRES ARE STARTING THE SAME WEAR AND TEAR; WHEN ACCELERATING IT STARTS TO JERK AND LOCK UP NOT GOING OVER A CERTAIN SPEED LIMIT EVEN IF YOU FLOOR THE PEDAL UNTIL IT LURCHES FORWARD; THE BREAK LIGHTS WERE ALSO STAYING ON AND THEN TURNING OFF WHEN WE PRESSED THE BRAKES, WE GOT THAT FIXED AT THE DEALERSHIP THOUGH; THE CAR IS COMPLETELY FALLING APART; WE TOOK THE BATTERIES OUT OF THE KEY CHAINS AND THE CAR DOOR STILL LOCK AND UNLOCK BY THEMSELVES; THE STEERING WHEEL DOESN'T SEEMED TO BE ALIGNED OR STRAIGHT. LIKE IF IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE WHEEL SOMEWHAT STRAIGHT (A STRAIGHT LINE IS NOW ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE WITH THIS CAR) THEN YOU HAVE TO ANGLE IT KIND OF THE LEFT. ITS SO DANGEROUS NOW TO DRIVE THIS CAR. THE WHOLE THING FELL APART AT ONCE.AND ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS HAPPEN WHILE MOVING. WHILE THE CAR IS IN PARKED AND ALSO WHILE ITS TURNED COMPLETELY OFF. THAT ONLY WITH THE LOCKS UNLOCKING AND LOCKING. AND THE SPEEDS AT WHICH IM GOING WHEN THE OTHER PROBLEMS ARE HAPPENING ARE NO MORE THAN 35 MILES PER HOUR.;' I KNOW THAT WE TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF THE CAR AND HAVE ALL THE SERVICE REPORTS . SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT WITH MY CAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPARED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. DOORS TO THE VEHICLE WILL INTERMITTENTLY NOT UNLOCK, EITHER WITH KEY FOB, OR FROM INSIDE THE VEHICLE WHEN THE POWER LOCK BUTTON IS DEPRESSED. AT THIS TIME THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR WILL NOT UNLOCK OR OPEN, EVEN WHEN THE LOCK IS MANUALLY PLACED INTO THE UNLOCK POSITION. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD DUE TO THE FACT THAT IN AN EMERGENCY THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR IS UNABLE TO BE OPENED, POSSIBLY CAUSING AN OCCUPANT TO BE TRAPPED. THE REAR DOORS WILL NOT LOCK WITH THE POWER LOCK SWITCH OR KEY FOB. THOSE DOORS ARE ABLE TO BE UNLOCKED MANUALLY. THIS POSES A SECURITY ISSUE AS THE VEHICLE CANNOT BE PROPERLY SECURED. I WOULD LIKE GENERAL MOTORS TO PAY FOR THE NEEDED REPAIRS TO THE DOORS/DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM.
POWER STEERING, TRACTION CONTROL, POWER INSIDE CAR COMES ON AND OFF
ALL GM VEHICLES WITH V-6 MOTOR FROM 2007 TO 2009. THE VEHICLE WILL LOOSE THE ABILITY TO KEEP GOING FORWARD OR TO BACKUP. CAN HAPPEN AT 70 MPH ON HIGHWAY OR WHILE PARKED AND SHIFT TO BACKUP OR GO FORWARD. ONLY 1ST AND 2ND GEAR WILL WORK. THE CAUSE IS A TRANSMISSION CLUTCH WAVE PLATE USED BY GM THAT EXPLODES AFTER VEHICLES HIT 100,000 MILES OR MORE. TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY WITH 6 LANES AND LOST ALL POWER TO KEEP MOVING FORWARD. MAJOR RISK OF BEING REAR-ENDED OR KILLED TRYING TO GET CAR OFF THE HIGHWAY. GM FAILED TO DO A RECALL, INSTEAD GM CHOSE ONLY TO DO A SERVICE BULLETIN SENT TO DEALERS, NOT OWNERS OF THE EFFECTED VEHICLES. WHEN THIS FAULTY WAVE PLATE HITS 100,000 MILES OR MORE IT WILL EXPLODE AND THROW METAL INTO THE TRANSMISSION COMPLETELY DESTROYING THE TRANSMISSION. GM CHOSE TO ONLY DO THE SERVICE BULLETIN. SAID BULLETIN EXPIRED ON AUGUST 21, 2018 AT THE SAME TIME THE 2007-2009 MODELS WERE REACHING OR PASSING 100,000 MILES. ATTACHED IS THE REPAIR BILL FOR $3,370.50 TO REPLACE MY TRANSMISSION DUE TO A FAULTY CLUTCH WAVE PLATE. SERVICE BULLETIN IS NUMBER14404A. I WANT GM TO PAY ME MY REPAIR COSTS.
WHEN I SHUT THE FRONT DRIVER OR PASSENGER SIDE DOOR THEY WON'T STAY SHUT. THIS ONLY HAPPENS IF YOU OPEN THE DOOR FROM THE INSIDE. IT STARTED WITH THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR FIRST NOW ITS BOTH FRONT DOORS. TO GET IT TO SHUT YOU HAVE TO OIL THE OUTSIDE HANDLE LIKE YOUR GOING TO OPEN THE DOOR. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE!!!! SOMETIMES ALSO THE DOORS WON'T UNLOCK WITH THE CAR IN PARK OR IF I TURN THE CAR OFF.
ON SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 30 2018, I WAS DRIVING IN THE CHURCH PARKING LOT AT A SLOW RATE OF SPEED MAKING A LEFT TURN WHEN MY SATURN AURA LOST ALL POWER STEERING ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. I HAD A DIFFICULT TIME GETTING THE CAR TO STRAIGHTEN OUT TO PARK. I TURNED IF OFF AND WHEN I STARTED MY CAR AND IT WAS FINE THE REST OF THE DAY. ON MONDAY OCTOBER 1, 2018 I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY TO GO TO WORK AND AGAIN I LOST AL STEERING POWER. I PULLED BACK INTO MY DRIVEWAY, TURNED IT OFF, STARTED IT AND IT WAS FINE; HOWEVER, I WORK 50 MILES FROM HOME AND DID NOT WANT THE CHANCE IT WOULD DO THAT DURING HIGHWAY DRIVING. GM WHICH MADE THE SATURN AS OF SEPT 13, 2018 HAS A RECALL ON A NUMBER OF THEIR VEHICLES WITH THIS VERY PROBLEM. IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL AS THIS CAR IS MADE BY GMC AND IT IS THE SAME PROBLEM? THIS COULD BE VERY SERIOUS IF I HAD BEEN DRIVING IN TRAFFIC.
WHEN IN MOTION AT ANY GIVEN TIME THE MOTOR GOING INTO REDUCED ENGINE POWER AND DRIVES SLOW. I HAVE REPLACED THROTTLE BODY AND THE CAR STILL GOES INTO REDUCED POWER. THIS IS S SAFETY CONCETTA'S I AM AFRAID OF GETTING INTO A ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS ISSUE AND IT IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE THAT STILL CAN NOT BE PINPOINTED.

ADDITIONALLY, WHILE REVERSING, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE HAD TO BE ENGAGED TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFTER CABLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
MY VEHICLE HAS HAD ELECTRICAL ISSUES FOR A FEW MONTHS. THE POWER LOCKS WILL NOT WORK BUT, RANDOMLY DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THEY WILL START GOING UP AND DOWN AND THEN IN PARK WHEN I'M NOT IN THE VEHICLE THE DOORS WILL AUTOMATICALLY LOCK BUT, ANY OTHER TIME THEY DO NOT WORK. ALSO 2 DAYS AGO ON MY WAY TO WORK THE POWER STEERING INSTANTLY WENT WHEN I PULLED INTO WORK. I PARKED THE CAR AND SHUT IT OFF. WHEN I TURNED IT BACK ON IT WAS WORKING AGAIN. I'M VERY SCARED OF THIS HAPPENING WHILE DRIVING.
IN PARKING LOT. STARTED CAR, PUT IN REVERSE. FELT LIKE IT WASN'T GOING TO STOP. THEN GEAR SHIFT WENT LOOSELY BACK AND FORTH. HAD IT TOWED AND REPAIRED. SAID IT WAS A CLIP CAME OFF. REPAIRED TRANSMISSION CABLE.

THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 112,000.
#1 (STEERING COLUMN) JARS OCCASIONALY WHEN TURNING AT SLOW SPEEDS MAKING IT JAR THE WHOLE CAR AND ALSO MAKES IT HARD TO TURN. #2 (ELECTRICAL)POWER LOCKS ON EVERY DOOR BUT DRIVER SIDE DOES NOT WORK OCCASIONALY...AND PASSENGER DOOR SOMETIMES DOES NOT LATCH AND SOMETIMES WONT OPEN WHEN DOOR IS UNLOCKED AND CAR IS SETTING STILL AND OR MOVING.
I TOOK MY VEHICLE IN FOR AN "ELECTRIC POWER STEERING ASSIST" RECALL. DROVE IT THERE, BUT HAD TO TOW IT OFF BECAUSE THE SHIFT CABLE BROKE. IT WILL NOT SHIFT INTO ANY GEAR, JUST STUCK IN DRIVE. ALSO WONT START NOW I ASSUME BECAUSE IT WONT GO IN PARK. THE LOCK BUTTONS/ WINDOWS DONT WORK EITHER
BROKEN GEAR SHIFTS. PUT CAR IN REVERSE TO PARK AND CAR SHUT OFF GEAR SHIFT WENT LOOSELY BACK AND FORTH. CAR ROLLED BACK ON IT'S OWN POTENTIALLY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. GEAR SHIFT BROKEN. CAR ENGINE WOULD NOT START. I PUT KEY IN IGNITION AND IT LIT UP DASHBOARD AND WINDOWS LET UP AND DOWN BUT VEHICLE DIDN'T MOVE. *TR
MY TIRE PROBLEM
ON OCTOBER 17, 2017 I PICKED UP MY VEHICLE AT THE BODY SHOP AFTER HAVING THE DRIVER'S SEAT REPLACED BECAUSE THE WELDS BROKE. TODAY, APRIL 27, 2018 I RETURNED TO THE BODY SHOP FOR THE SAME ISSUE. THE WELDS ARE BROKEN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SEAT. I HAVE ATTACHED A PHOTO OF THE RIGHT FRONT WELD. I SEARCHED YOUR DATABASE FOR THIS ISSUE AND DID NOT FIND IT.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER AS THE MESSAGE CENTER DISPLAYED 'POWER STEERING ". THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE FAILURE BEGAN IN DECEMBER OF 2017, BUT WOULD ALWAYS CORRECT ITSELF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING MOTOR FAILED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 160,000.
POWER STEERING WENT OUT WITHOUT WARNING
THE STEERING HAS GOTTEN VERY HARD TO STEER AT SLOW SPEEDS. IT TAKES EFFORT TO TURN IT AND ONCE TURNING, IT WILL NOT RETURN STRAIGHT BUT YOU HAVE TO FORCEFULLY TURN THE STEERING WHEEL BACK TO GO STRAIGHT INSTEAD OF IT WANTING TO GO STRAIGHT . IT IS NOT THE POWER STEERING WHICH IS WORKING FINE.A MACHANIC TOLD ME THAT THIS IS AN ISSUE FOR MANY GM CARS AND TO CHECK. SURE ENOUGH THERE ARE MANY MODELS OF MY CAR THAT HAVE THIS ISSUE AND HAVE BEEN RECALLED. I HAVE LUCKILY AVOIDED ANY ACCIDENTS SO FAR BUT THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE.
POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:LEVER AND LINKAGE:FLOOR SHIFT THE SHIFT CABLE IN MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES IN THE LAST FOUR YEARS! EACH TIME IT FAILED I WAS IN THE PROCESSING OF REVERSING INTO TRAFFIC AND WHEN I WHEN I SHIFTED TO DRIVE THE TRANSMISSION CABLE SNAPPED AND THE VEHICLE CARRIED ON ROLLING BACKWARDS! I HAVE PAID FOR TWO REPAIRS MYSELF ONE WAS SHORTLY BEFORE THE RECALL, IT WAS FIXED AGAIN UNDER THE RECALLED AND IT WAS REPAIRED AGAIN LAST WEEK AT MY EXPENSE BY HOLLY CHEVROLET ON 2/12/18. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND I'M JUST FORTUNATE NOT TO HAVE HIT SOMEBODY OR HAVE SOMEBODY HIT ME! ALL REPAIRS WERE COMPLETED BU HOLLY CHEVROLET ON EACH OCCASION, OF COURSE , I ALSO HAD TO PAY THE TOWING COSTS AS WELL. THE 2014 RECALL OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T WORK IF THIS HAS FAILED AGAIN. I SHOULD ADD THAT MY VEHICLE ONLY HAS 73000 MILES ON IT AND I DRIVE 20 MILES A DAY ROUND TRIP.
I AM 80 YEARS OLD AND EVERYBODY IS TRYING TO GET MY HARD EARNED MONEY. YESTERDAY JANUARY 26, 2018, I BOUGHT A 2008 SATURN AURA. WHEN I GOT HOME AND TOOK TIME TO GO THROUGH THE PAPERWORK. I FOUND INFORMATION ABOUT 2 RECALLS. I CHECKED THE NET AND FOUND TWO MORE. SOME OF THESE MAKE THE CAR UNSAFE TO DRIVE. I NEED HELP THAT WILL HELP ME RETURN THIS CAR TO THE CAR LOT I BOUGHT IT FROM. I E-MAILED BOTH THE LOCAL AUTO NATION CAR DEALER AND GENERAL MOTOR HEADQUARTERS IN DETROIT MICHIGAN. GM MAY NOT FIX THE CARE SINCE SOME OF THESE RECALLS GO BACK TO 2012.
HEADLAMP, LOW BEAMS KEEP GOING OUT. IT STARTS WITH ONE SIDE THEN I REPLACE IT THEN THE OTHER SIDE GOES OUT. THEY DRIVER SIDE REPLACED WORKED FOR A MONTH THEN WENT OUT THEN THE PASSENGER SIDE LASTED FROM OCTOBER 2017 TILL JAN 5 2018. I KEEP REPLACING THE LOW BEAMS. IT COST 100$ EVERY TIME ONE IS REPLACED. I ACTUALLY TRIED REPLACEING ALL 4, AND STILL ONE LOW BEAM WENT OUT I REPLACED ONE THEN NEXT MONTH ANOTHER ONE WENT OUT.
DRIVING DOWN A ROAD DOING ABOUT 35MPH AND NOTICE THE POWER STEERING QUITS WORKING, A MESSAGE COMES UP ON THE INFO PANEL THAT READS POWER STEERING, AND A BELL RINGS. I LOOK IN THE MANUAL AND IT SAYS THAT THE CAR HAS ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (NO FLUID TO CHECK). I CALL THE DEALER AND HE SAYS THE CAR WAS REPAIRED UNDER A RECALL AT 86000 MILES (IT HAS 126000 NOW). APPARENTLY WHAT EVER HAPPENED BEFORE IS HAPPENING AGAIN. BEFORE ALL OF THIS HAPPENED I NOTICED A SLIGHT VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL AS I WAS AT A RED LIGHT. NOT SURE IF THE TWO ARE RELATED.

THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 142,000.

ADDITIONALLY, WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE BRAKE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED INDEPENDENT OF THE BRAKE PEDAL BEING DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.

IN ADDITION, THE SERVICE BRAKES AND ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL INDICATORS ILLUMINATED, AND THE BRAKE LIGHTS REMAINED ILLUMINATED WITHOUT DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE FAILURES WERE NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND LOCAL DEALER (SUTLIFF GMC IN STATE COLLEGE, PA) WERE NOTIFIED, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V252000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, EXTERIOR LIGHTING, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL) IN 2014, BUT THE FAILURES RECURRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 190,000. *LN
THERE WAS A RECALL #12106 IN 2011. THERE IS A SHIFTER CABLE PROBLEM, IT BREAKS. IT WAS REPLACED UNDER THE RECALL. WELL, IT BROKE AGAIN IN 2013, 2015 AND JUST RECENTLY, NOV. 24, 2017. THE PREVIOUS ONES WERE COVERED UNDER THE RECALL. THE MOST RECENT REPAIR WAS NOT. ON NOV. 24TH, WHEN IT BROKE AGAIN, I WAS ON THE STREET I LIVE ON; I LIVE ON A HILL; THE CAR WOULD NOT STOP; I HAD TO ENGAGE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO GET IT TO STOP ROLLING. THE CAR HAD TO BE TOWED TO A DEALER FOR REPAIR. THIS IS THE 4TH REPAIR!
I PURCHASED THIS CAR ON 11/05/2017 AND HAVE EXPERIENCED MORE PROBLEMS EVERYDAY WITH THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS IN THE CAR. MY POWER LOCKS RARELY WORK ON ALL OF MY DOORS. I MANUALLY UNLOCK MY DRIVER'S DOOR AND IF I TRY TO UNLOCK THE OTHER DOORS WITH MY POWER LOCK CONTROLS, SOME OR NONE OF THE OTHER LOCKS WILL UNLOCK OR LOCK. THIS PROBLEM HAPPENS WITH THE CAR BEING STATIONARY, IN MOTION, AND ON ALL VARIETIES OF DRIVING. MY SEATBELT LIGHT ON MY DASHBOARD FLASHES EVEN WHEN MY SEATBELT IS ON. THIS PROBLEM HAPPENS WITH THE CAR BEING STATIONARY, IN MOTION, AND ON ALL VARIETIES OF DRIVING. THE TIRE MONITOR AND TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT ARE ON AT ALL TIMES, EVEN AFTER HAVING MY TIRES CHECKED BY A SPECIALIST. THIS PROBLEM HAPPENS WITH THE CAR BEING STATIONARY, IN MOTION, AND ON ALL VARIETIES OF DRIVING. THE PASSENGER AIRBAG GOES ON AND OFF WHEN A PASSENGER IS SEATED AND WEARING A SEATBELT. THIS PROBLEM HAS ONLY BEEN NOTICED WHILE DRIVING FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES. THE OVERALL LIGHTS ON MY DASHBOARD WILL DIM, GO COMPLETELY OUT, AND TURN BACK ON AFTER DRIVING FOR A FEW MINUTES. THIS PROBLEM HAPPENS WITH THE CAR IN MOTION AND ON ALL VARIETIES OF DRIVING. THE TRUNK, THAT DOESN'T HAVE EXTERIOR KEY ACCESS, SOMETIMES DOESN'T OPEN AND HAS TO BE ACCESSED FROM THE INTERIOR VIA THE BACKSEATS. THIS PROBLEM HAS ONLY BEEN ATTEMPTED WHILE STATIONARY.
AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON AND WILL NOT GO OFF. NOT INVOLVED IN A ACCIDENT
POWER STEERING WENT OUT AS I WAS DRIVING MY CAR TO WORK, I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED . I WAS TOLDED THAT THIS PART WAS ON A RECALL SO I CALLED A GM SHOP AND WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL WHY IS THAT!!!!!!!
3RD BRAKE LIGHT IN FEAR WINDOW OUT INTERMITTENTLY AND IS KNOWN ISSUE ON AURAS. ALSO HEADLIGHT ELECTRICAL ISSUES AND THAT IS ALSO INTERMITTENT.
WHEN I'M DRIVING THE BRAKE LIGHTS ARE ON BUT WHEN I STEP ON THE BRAKES TO STOP THE BRAKE LIGHTS GO OFF. I'VE HAD PEOPLE STOP ME WHILE I'M AT A RED LIGHT TO TELL ME THAT WHEN I STEPPED ON MY BRAKES MY BRAKE LIGHTS GO OFF, BUT THEY'RE ON WHILE I'M DRIVING. IT'S VERY SCARY. I'VE TAKING IT TO MY MECHANIC BUT THEY STEP ON THE BRAKES THE LIGHTS COME ON.THEY COME ON WHILE THE CAR IS SITTING STILL IT SEEMS LIKE WHEN I'M DRIVING IS WHEN THE BRAKE LIGHTS DON'T WORK RIGHT. I DRIVE AT NIGHT TIME AND IF I'M AT A RED LIGHT WITH NO BRAKE LIGHTS SOMEBODY MIGHT RUN INTO THE BACK OF ME. I'M REALLY ANXIOUS TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON. EVERYTHING ELSE WITH THE CAR SEEMS FINE.
WHILE DRIVING AND AT SPEEDS BETWEEN 35 MPH AND 55 MPH THE CAR SHUTS OFF LIKE THE IGNITION WAS TURNED OFF AND WHEN PUT IN TO NATURAL WHILE STILL MOVING TRY TO START CAR AND IT WON'T CRANK, IT IS DIFFICULT TO GET THE CAR OFF THE ROAD AND STOPPED. CAR IS NOW IN PARK, TRY TO START AND THE ENGINE WILL NOT CRANK, NEEDS TO SET FOR 30 OR SO MINUTES AND NOW WILL CRANK. I REPLACED THE IGNITION RELAY BUT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME 6 TIMES IN THE PASS 4 WEEKS. NO DOCUMENTATION.

WHILE MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET UTICA ROAD AND GRATIOT IN ROSEVILLE MI THE ENGINE SHUT OFF WITHOUT ANY WARNING. LUCKILY NO ONE WAS BEHIND THE CAR WHEN IT SHUT OFF OR ON THE FREEWAY AT THE TIME OR IT COULD HAVE BEEN A BAD SITUATION OR ACCIDENT. THE CAR WOULD NOT START BACK UP JUST CLICKING IN IGNITION WHEN TURNING KEY IN THE IGNITION. HAD TO CALL FOR A TOW AT 10PM. SHOP SAID SOMETHING WENT WRONG WITH TIMING CHAIN AND COMPRESSION TEST SHOWED NO COMPRESSION IN CYLINDER 4 POSSIBLY BENT VALVES. I RECENTLY RECEIVED A LETTER FROM GM REGARDING A CONDITION WHEN INCREASED RESISTANCE IN THE BODY CONTROL MODULE RESULTING IN VOLTAGE FLUCTUATIONS OR INTERMITTENCY IN THE BRAKE APPLY SENSOR DATED MARCH 2017.
MY SATURN AURA TRACTION CONTROL AND ESC LIGHTS CAME ON. THE BRAKE LIGHT WOULD BE ON EVEN WHEN I AM NOT BRAKING. THIS HAPPENS WHEN NORMAL DRIVING IS TAKING PLACE.
