TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SCION XD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WINDOWS FUNCTIONED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. TWO YEARS PRIOR TO THE FAILURE, THE VEHICLE WAS REMEDIED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN 12V491000 (VISIBILITY). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 135,000.
