2003 TOYOTA COROLLA EXPERIENCED ROLL BACK.*MR WHILE STOPPED AT RED LIGHT CAR SUDDENLY ROLLED BACKWARD. THE CONSUMER PUT THE BRAKE DOWN AS HARD AS SHE COULD BUT THE CAR KEPT ROLLING. THE CONSUMER HAD TO USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP THE CAR. *BF *NM
PAINT BUBBLED AND PEELING ALL OVER CAR. *JB
ON SEPT. 10TH, 2004 MY SON TRIED CLOSING MY TRUNK ON MY COROLLA LE AND THE PLASTIC MECHANISM BROKE AND PREVENTED THE TRUNK LID FROM LOCKING. HE REPORTS THAT HE DID NO MORE THAN TO TRY TO CLOSE THE TRUNK AFTER OPENING IT. THIS SEEMS LIKE ONE OF THOSE INCIDENTS WHERE THERE IS A STRUCTURAL PROBLEM AND MOST OWNERS FEEL THEY ARE THE CULPRET OF ITS' MALFUNCTION. I HAD ONE OF THOSE COROLLA'S THAT HAD A FAULTY CATALYTIC CONVERTER. THE TOYOTA AGENCY AFTER 1 1/2 YEARS REPLACED IT FREE AFTER SMELLING LIKE ROTTEN EGGS FOR THAT LENGTH OF TIME. I WAS TOLD ORIGINALLY BY THE SERVICE DEPT., IT WAS THE GAS I PUT INTO IT, OR THAT IT WOULD TKAE LONGER THEN NORMAL FOR THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER TO BREAK IN. FINALLY, IT WAS REPLACED BECAUSE OF SO MANY REPORTS AND COMPLAINTS BY OTHERS WHO SUFFERED FROM THE SAME SMELL. I WONDER IF THIS IS THE SAME ABOUT THE TRUNK LID MECHANISM?*AK
INTERMITTENTLY THE VEHICLE LUNGED OR ACCELERATED UPON FINAL PARKING WITH FOOT OFF ACCELERATOR AND ON BRAKE. THE VEHICLE JUMPED OVER A COUPLE FEET. THE DEALERSHIP INSPECTED THE VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG. *AK THE BRAKES FAILED TO HOLD. THE CONSUMER STATED THAT OVER THE PAST YEAR SHE EXPERIENCED ENGINE SURGES AND THE VEHICLE LUNGING FORWARD UPON BRAKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN IN FOR SERVICE AND THEY ADMITTED THEY DID NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. CONSUMER WAS TOLD SHE HAD A DESIGN FLAW IN HER VEHICLE WHERE THE BRAKE AND THE ACCELERATOR WERE DESIGNED TOO CLOSE. *TC *JB
WHILE DRIVING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD AND REMAINED ON. VEHICLE STALLED. BUT THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO RESTART VEHICLE, AND DROVE IT TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. MECHANIC PLACED THE VEHICLE ON THE DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE AND THE CODES APPEARED AS FOLLOWS, P04400/P04411/ P04412. THEN, MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE CHARCOAL CANISTER AND THE GAS VAPOR SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. CONSUMER INFORMED THE MECHANIC THAT THE PROBLEM OCCURRED MANY TIMES. ALSO, MECHANIC INFORMED CONSUMER THAT THIS PROBLEM COULD BE A DESIGN FLAW FROM THE MANUFACTURER. *AK
2003 TOYOTA COROLLA HAS BEEN USING OIL SINCE 30,000 MILES. TOYOTA DEALER SAID THE ENGINE NEEDED REPLACING AT 35,000 MILES BECAUSE SLUDGE WAS IN THE HEAD. OIL WAS CHANGED BETWEEN 4,000 - 5,000 MILES SINCE NEW. NOW WE MUST REPLACE THE ENGINE AFTER IT WAS JUST PAID OFF. I SINCERELY BELIEVE THIS WAS A DEFAULT FROM THE FACTORY. *TR
THE DRIVER WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION, AND BOTH FRONTAL AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. DRIVER AND PASSENGER SUSTAINED MAJOR INJURIES, AND WERE TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A GARAGE. *AK
I HAVE PURCHASED THE NEW COROLLA 2003 ON AUGUST 2002,ONLY SEVEN MILES AT THE DELIVERY TIME. AND I HAVE FOUND WATER INSIDE THE CAR (WET RIGHT REAR CARPET) AFTER THE HEAVY RAIN TWICE. THE FIRST TIME HAD HAPPEN ON JUNE 2003, THE FAWLER SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAD REPLACED BODY SEAL AND DOOR SEAL. THE SECOND TIME ON JUNE, 28TH 2004, THE JOHN EAGLE SPORT CITY SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAD FOUND THAT WATER WAS LEAKED INSIDE THE CAR THROUGH THE SEAL OF REAR WINDOW. IT IS NOT RIGHT BECAUSE WITH IN TWO YEARS AND AT THE 24000 MILES THE SEALS NEED TO BE REPLACE AT SEVERAL PARTS. IS IT THE DEFECTED PARTS OR CARS BECAUSE THE BODY OF THE COROLLA HAD JUST REDESIGN FOR THIS MODEL. *LA
WHEN BACK WINDOWS ARE DOWN IN THE CAR, IT CREATES A SONIC PRESSURE AND HURTS YOUR EARS, WHICH COULD LEAD TO PERMANENT EARING LOSS. THIS WAS NOT DISCLOSED TO ME WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, CAUSED BY POORLY FITTING GAS CAP. CONCERNED ABOUT BURNED OIL DEBRIS IN NEW OIL CHANGED. *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THAT ONE INCH OF THE ENGINE OIL HAD BEEN LOST OVER 1800 MILES ENOUGH THAT THE ENGINE COULD BE COMPLETELY OUT OF OIL OVER A 4000 MILE PERIOD. *TC
WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED, THE VEHICLE WOULD IDLED AT A HIGH RPM . THE DEALERSHIP AND MANUFACTURE HAS BEEN CONTACTED. TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *NM *JB
VEHICLE IS LETTING OUT FUMES FROM THE ENGINE AND THROUGH THE VENTS INTO THE VEHICLE. DRIVER TENDS TO GET DROWSY, AND HER ASTHMA TENDS TO GET WORSE BECAUSE OF THE FUMES.*AK
THE PASSENGER'S REAR SEAT BELTS LOCK GOES THROUGH THE SEAT. SEAT COVER HAS BEEN CHANGED, AND THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT MADE FURTHER CONTACT WITH THE CONSUMER.*AK THE CONSUMER STATED THAT THE DEALER TWO PIECES OF CARPET INTO CIRCLES AND A SLIT IN THE CENTER AND PUSHED THE REAR SEAT BELT LOCKS THROUGH THE CARPET AND NOW IT LAYS ON THE TIP OF THE REAR SEAT. *TC
CONSUMER STATES THAT WHEN HE IS SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT, WITH HIS FOOT ON THE BRAKES, HIS VEHICLE SURGES FORWARD. HE STATES THIS ALSO HAPPENS WHEN HE HAS HER DEFROSTER ON OR THE VEHICLE IS HEATING UP. HE STATES HE HAS TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER/MECHANIC HE IS TOLD THAT IT IS NORMAL. HE STATES THAT THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR 2 YEARS, AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT IT. HE STATES THAT HE IS TOLD THAT THERE ARE RECALLS ON THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE FOR THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT WAS IT DOES NOT INCLUDE HIS. HE STATES HE WAS TOLD THAT IT IS WITH THE CAMRY, AVALON. PLEASE HELP, BECAUSE HE STATES IT IS GETTING WORSE AND HE IS AFRAID HE WILL HAVE AN ACCIDENT OR HIT SOMEONE. *NM

THE VEHICLE WILL SURGE FORWARD WHEN AT A STOP. THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONER IS TURNED ON. THERE HAS BEEN SEVERAL OCCASIONS THAT I ALMOST HIT THE CAR IN FRONT.*AK
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE SLOWING DOWN BEHIND ANOTHER VEHICLE. IT WOULD NOT SLOW DOWN SO THE VEHICLE WAS PUT IN TO NEUTRAL, THE ENGINE REVVED UP. THE GEARS WERE THEN PUT INTO DRIVE AND FINALLY THE ENGINE SLOWED DOWN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP TO BE CHECKED, UPON INSPECTION THE PROBLEM WAS DETERMINED TO BE THE THROTTLE BODY HAD STUCK. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN FOR A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME BEFORE EXPERIENCING THE SAME TYPE PROBLEMS. THE DEALER SAID IT COULD HAVE BEEN THE FLOOR MAT GETTING UNDER THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE VEHICLE IS STILL HAVING THE SAME TYPE OF PROBLEMS. THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN ALERTED. UPDATED 4/6/2006 - *NM
I HAVE A 2003 TOYOTA COROLLA. IN COLD WEATHER AS THE ENGINE IS WARMING UP, THERE IS A VERY STRONG ROTTEN EGG SMELL WHEN VEHICLE IS STOPPED. THIS OCCURS WHEN THE WINDOWS ARE ALL CLOSED. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS A SAFETY CONCERN. *JB
MY 2003 TOYOTA COROLLA EXPERIENCED A SUDDEN ACCELERATION PROBLEM TWICE. THE LOCAL TOYOTA DEALER AND TOYOTA'S FIELD TECHNICAL SPECIALIST REFUSED TO BELIEVE THE CAR WOULD HAVE ACCELERATED BY ITSELF UNLESS I HAD PRESSED THE ACCELERATOR. NO WAY!!!! THEY SAID IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE CAR TO HAVE PICKED UP SELF-ACCELERATION. THEY WERE UNABLE TO PINPOINT ANY PROBLEM. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION! I WAS LUCKY NOBODY WAS HURT OR KILLED.
WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED THERE IS A DELAY BEFORE THE VEHICLE WILL STOP. CAUSE IS UNKNOWN. ON DECEMBER 2003 CONSUMER HAD A ACCIDENT BRAKE TOOK LONGER TO STOP. DEALER NOTIFIED. PLEASE DESCRIBE FURTHER.*AK
RATTLING NOISES, SUDDEN ACCELERATION WHILE SITTING STILL AND ALL FOUR WINDOWS GOT STUCK IN THE SUMMER TIME AND COULDN'T BE OPENED WITH THE AUTOMATIC SWITCH. (NAR) *PH *CB
TRANSMISSION DOWNSHIFTS FROM OVERDRIVE TO LOWER GEAR, WHEN TAPPING BRAKES IN ORDER TO SLOW DOWN SLIGHTLY AT HIGH SPEED. GOING DOWN HILL, FOR EXAMPLE, RESULTING IN SUDDEN SURGE OF RPM, ACTING LIKE A BRAKE AND TAKING A WHILE TO SHIFT BACK INTO OVERDRIVE. THIS PUTS TREMENDOUS STRAIN ON ENGINE, AND RESULTS IN POOR GAS MILEAGE. IT DOESN'T SEEM PROPER THAT IT SHOULD DOWNSHIFT WHEN SLOWING FROM 70 TO 65. EVEN PUNCHING THE ACCELERATOR DOESN'T SEEM TO MAKE IT GO INTO OD UNTIL SEVERAL SECONDS HAVE PASSED. 2003 TOYOTA COROLLA. *LA
MY 2003 TOYOTA COROLLA EMITS AN OVERPOWERING SULPHUR SMELL WHEN I COME TO A STOP. THE SMELL ENTERS THE PASSENGER CABIN AND LINGERS FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES. THIS IS AN ON GOING PROBLEM. MY CAR HAS ONLY 13,000 MILES ON IT.*AK

HAVE NOTICED A STRONG SULFUR/ROTTEN EGG SMELL FROM THE EXHAUST THAT ENTERS THE INSIDE OF THE CAR. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD TO CHANGE MY BRAND OF GAS. NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN NOTICED.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE REARVIEW MIRROR DISTORTED THE DRIVER'S VIEW, CAUSING VEHICLES TO APPEAR CLOSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (LEHMAN TOYOTA/SCION, MIAMI, FL, 305-652-4442) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS QUOTED AN UNAFFORDABLE REPAIR COST. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 10. UPDATED 10/26/17*LJ *JS
CAR MAKING KNOCKING NOISE IN ENGINE. TOOK CAR TO DEALERSHIP AND WAS ADVISED THAT THERE WAS SLUDGE IN THE ENGINE. I WAS TOLD IT WAS FROM NOT RECEIVING OIL CHANGES ON TIME. THE CAR ONLY HAS 22,456 MILES, AND I HAVE HAD 3 OIL CHANGES. THEY TELL ME I WILL NEED A NEW ENGINE. I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR IN MARCH 2002. THE CAR ALSO HAS A ROTTEN EGG SMELL.*AK
MY NEW '03 TOYOTA COROLLA CE (17715 MILES AS OF 01/19/04) HAS SOME SERIOUS DEFECT THAT MAKES IT STALL. AT LEAST 5 TIMES, FROM OCTOBER 20, 2003 TO JANUARY 22, 2004, WE HAD TO BRING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. IT ALREADY HAD TO BE TOWED TWICE, AS IT WOULD SOMETIMES STOP IN TRAFFIC, PUTTING THE LIVES OF MY FAMILY IN DANGER. SO FAR, NONE OF THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP'S TECHNICIANS HAVE BEN ABLE TO FIND THE PROBLEM. I WAS TOLD THAT DIAGNOSTIC TESTS PERFORMED ON THIS CAR HAVE SHOWN UNUSUAL CODES UNFAMILIAR TO TOYOTA TECHNICIANS. ONE SUCH CODE, THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO INTERPRET, IS "P1780. THEY THOUGHT THE PROBLEM WAS THE ECU SWITCH. THEY REPLACED IT IN NOVEMBER 2003, AND SINCE THEN THE CAR HAS STOPPED TWICE. ON JANUARY 24, 2004, LESS THAN A WEEK AFTER IT WAS DELIVERED TO US FOLLOWING REPAIR FOR THE SAME PROBLEMS, IT STOPPED AGAIN, BECAME INOPERABLE, AND HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. AT EACH OCCURRENCE, THE ENGINE INDICATOR LIGHT, AND IN SOME CASES THE "LOW ENGINE" PRESSURE LIGHT WOULD STAY ON PERMANENTLY, THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD BECOME VERY HARD TO MANEUVER, AND THEN THE CAR WOULD COME TO A SUDDEN HALT. TO RESTART IT, IT WOULD TAKE TURNING THE IGNITION KEY ON SEVERAL TIMES. MY BIGGEST FEAR IS THAT IT MAY SOMEDAY STOP SUDDENLY (AS IT USUALLY DOES) IN A BUSY INTERSECTION OR ON A HIGHWAY, THEREBY PUTTING AT RISK THE LIVES OF MY WHOLE FAMILY. THIS PROBLEM NEEDS SOME URGENT ATTENTION. *LA
INTERIOR NOISE, SEVERAL PARTS WERE REPLACED, BUT NOISE IS NOT GONE YET. NOW RIGHT FRONT DOOR AND DASHBOARD STARTED MAKING A NOISE. EVERYTIME I TAKE MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY TELL ME THAT NOISE CAN'T BE DUPLICATED. AS A RESULT I USUALLY HAVE TO RIDE WITH SOMEONE FROM THE DEALERSHIP TO PROVE THAT NOISE IS THERE. IN MY OPINION SOME INTERIOR PARTS DO NOT FIT CAR'S STRUCTURE. *LA
THE CONSUMER WAS DRIVING 20 MPH WHEN THE DRIVER APPLIED THE BRAKES. THE PEDAL HAD GONE TO THE FLOOR AND THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER BUT THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM. *AK THE CONSUMER TURNED THE VEHICLE VERY SLOWLY AND HEARD A SHARP NOISE AND THE VEHICLE BEGUN TO SHAKE. THE MOTOR HAD GONE WILD. THE BRAKES HAD GONE OUT. THE CONSUMER TRIED TO SHUT OFF THE IGNITION AND TRIED TO PLACE IN NEUTRAL, THEN PARK, BUT NOTHING HAPPENED AND THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO RUN WITH NO CONTROL. THE VEHICLE RAN INTO A TREE. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES. *SCC *NLM
WHEN THE VEHICLE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BECAME STUCK IN THE IDLE POSITION. THE DEALER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE THREE TIMES AND WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE OR CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *AK *SCC *JB
WHILE APPLYING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. CONSUMER APPLIED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED UNCONTROLLABLY. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FLUID NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AND REPLACED IT. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM RECURRED, AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER. HOWEVER, MECHANIC COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *AK
THIS COMPLAINT REGARDS THE TERRIBLE SMELL EMITTED BY MY 2003 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE VERY STRONG SMELL FILLS THE ENTIRE CAR, AND OFTEN LASTS SEVERAL MINUTES. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE SMELL IS HARMFUL OR NOT, BUT THERE SHOULD BE SOMETHING THAT TOYOTA CAN DO TO FIX THE PROBLEM.*AK
I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS UNRESOLVED PROBLEMS WITH MY 2003 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE AIR CONDITIONING/HEATER FAN QUITS AT RANDOM. IT DOES START BACK BUT OBVIOUSLY HAS A SHORT. IT COMES AND GOES. THE DEALER HAS STATED EACH TIME THEY ARE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. IT ALSO HAS SUSPENSION PROBLEMS. SINCE NEW THE CAR HAS MADE UNPLEASANT CLANING AND RATTLING NOISES IN THE FRONT END. I HAVE HAD IT LOOKED AT MANY TIMES WITH NO RESOLUTION. IT FEELS UNSTABLE IN WINDY CONDITIONS AND UN EVEN SURFACES. I'VE ACTUALLY THOUGHT I HAD A FLAT TIRE BECAUSE OF THE CAR SWAYING SO BADLY IN THE WIND AND ON UNEVEN SURFACES. I'VE OWNED MANY SMALL CARS BEFORE AND EVEN AN OLDER COROLLA SO I'M AWARE OF WHAT IS NORMAL. IT HAS DEFINITE SUPSENSION PROBLEMS. I HONESTLY FEEL IT'S DANGEROUS FOR MYSELF AND OTHERS DUE TO THE SUSPENSION. I NEED HELP. THERE ARE OTHER PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR AS WELL. IT'S A TRUE LEMON.
WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED FROM NOWHERE A VERY TINY GRAVEL HIT WINDSHIELD AND CRACKED IT. CONSUMER FOUND THE WINDSHIELD CRACK FROM TOP TO THE BOTTOM. DEALER WON'T REPLACE. *AK
WE ARE CONTINUOUSLY EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH OUR TOYOTA COROLLA (2003) CREATING A "ROTTEN EGG" SMELL. WE HAVE COMPLAINED MULTIPLE TIMES TO TOYOTA, INCLUDING FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THEIR NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD 1)THE SMELL IS NORMAL, 2) WE'RE USING THE WRONG TYPE OF GAS (WE HAVE TRIED ALL KINDS) AND 3) WE NEED TO RUN THE CAR WITH THE AIR RECIRCULATING AT ALL TIMES. WE ALSO DO NOT GET THE GAS MILEAGE AS EXPECTED. WE ARE GENERALLY GETTING 29 MPG WITH MOSTLY INTERSTATE DRIVING. THE TWO MAY BE RELATED. THIS STARTED LAST FALL SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASE. PURCHASED NEW 2003 TOYOTA COROLLA ON 05-27-03 -- VEHICLE DELIVERED WITH METALLIC RATTLE IN DASH -- BROUGHT INTO DEALER SERVICE ON 07/11/03 -- INFORMED BY DEALERSHIP THAT THERE IS NO FIX FOR THIS -- TOYOTA HAS TO COME UP WITH A NEW PART BECAUSE THE DASHBOARD DOES NOT FIT INTO THE BODY CORRECTLY - WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL A PART IS AVAILABLE -- THERE IS NOT ONE AT THIS TIME. *JB
VEHICLE WAS HIT ON FREEWAY AND KNOCKED UP ONTO CENTER DIVIDING WALL OF FREEWAY, APPROXIMATELY 2 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE. THE VEHICLE WAS TWISTED AND UNABLE TO BE DRIVEN. INSURANCE COMPANY REFUSED TO TOTAL VEHICLE AND ORIGINAL FACTORY REPLACEMENT PARTS WERE DENIED. AFTERMARKET PARTS NOT RELATED TO VEHICLE WERE PLACED ON VEHICLE INCLUDING WRONG STEERING, FRAME, WRONG BRAKES, WRONG EVERYTHING, AND MANY OTHER FRAUDULENT PARTS INCLUDING ABS REMOVED FROM VEHICLE FOR WHICH I PAID EXTRA ABOUT $5600. ALL COMPLAINTS TO REPAIR COMPANY, ALLSTATE INSURANCE, AND TOYOTA OF ORANGE WERE DENIED ALTHOUGH VEHICLE WAS NOT OPERATING PROPERLY. EXAMPLE BRAKES NEVER WORKED, AND LOCKED AND SKIDDED AT 2-5 MILES PER HOUR WHICH WAS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS ON ROAD. IN MAY, I TOOK VEHICLE FOR SMOG TEST AND WAS INFORMED VEHICLE WOULD NOT PASS VISUAL INSPECTION TEST DUE TO NON APPROVED AFTER MARKET PARTS ON VEHICLE NOT RELATED TO TOYOTA. AT THIS TIME SPECIFICALLY CATALYTIC CONVERTER IS NOT AN APPROVED PART. ONLY TOYOTA DEALERSHIP WORKED ON THIS VEHICLE UNTIL 2012 WHEN VISIT TO ARIZONA. NO ONE WILL HELP ME REGARDING THIS MATTER, AND I CANNOT GET TAGS AND REGISTRATION. I AM DISABLED AND IMMEDIATELY NEED MY VEHICLE.
