Hi, I purchased my car in Feb 2017. but before 9 months back, it starts to have bubbles on all perimeter of the windshield. and currently have too many bubbles on that perimeter. My current Car milage is 33,000 only So, I talked to Toyota care regarding this but they denied handling this as they said this is outside of the warranty period. but I feel that this is a manufacturing defect. and that must be resolved by Toyota as there is no user reason for this bubbling happens. this happens when any manufacturing defect. Also, when I searching for a reason for such bubbling, I found that the ford car also has some issues in 2014. and ford made a correction on this. The contact owns a 2017 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that while at a stoplight, an Audi truck crashed into the rear of the vehicle, allegedly due to being distracted by a cell phone. The air bags did not deploy. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact sustained broken bones, whiplash, chest injuries, and a broken toe; her knee was swollen, and she had head, neck, and foot injuries. and medical attention was provided. There was no reported fire. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an unknown location. The frame and fuel tank were bent. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, who confirmed no recalls. Six months after the failure, the vehicle was taken to the same dealer who repaired the vehicle under NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V024000 (Air Bags). The contact believed that the vehicle was sold with an open recall. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, who opened a case, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 9,800.

I HAD A CAR ACCIDENT ON JANUARY 15, 2021. MY CAR WAS TOTALED AND NONE OF MY AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. MY EMERGENCY BRAKE SENSOR DIDN'T GO OFF AS WELL WHICH USUALLY ALWAYS GOES OF FOR ANY MINIMAL CLOSE OBJECT. BECAUSE OF MY AIR BAG NOT DEPLOYING I CUT MY LIP OUTSIDE AND INSIDE GOING TO THE HOSPITAL AND GETTING A STITCH IN THE INSIDE OF MY LIP. I HAD A HOLE THE WIDTH OF A DIME FROM HITTING THE STEERING WHEEL AND BLED NON STOP FROM MY NOSE AND LIP/MOUTH. THE HOSPITAL HAS IN MY CHART THE PICTURE OF THE HOLE.
PAINT PEELING ON THIS COLOR BLUE AND TOYOTA IS NOT ACKNOWLEDGING THE PROBLEM, PAINT IS CHIPPING ALL OVER THE CAR , PLACES WHERE IT SHOULD NEVER YOU CAN EVEN SEE THE ORIGINAL PRIMER THE FACTORY USES UNDERNEATH THE CAR
I was driving my 2017 Toyota Corolla when I was hit on my driver side . All four panels on driver side needed to be repaired. The air bags never deployed . I was injured and can’t understand why the airbags never deployed
This vehicle when it's impacted there's really no help or assistance to get the vehicle removed off your property on the vehicle is a hazard it really needs to be retested and there needs to be someone to know that it's not safe for children and being this vehicle a lot of times it's kids slides and it doesn't have the front part of the vehicle is impacted bad and it's hard to get the car replaced by the manufacturer in thewayenough restraint so that you can take your kids a little faster in the car without answering them it's also a hazard because only certain drivers know how to operate it and it's not always safe to have this car out and about without issues or malfunction
VEHICLE STRUCK A DEAR AT APPROX. 50-55 MPH. NO AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT. VEHICLE SUFFERED DAMAGE AS FAR BACK AS THE ENGINE REQUIRING REPLACEMENT OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. FRONT IMPACT BAR AND CORE SUPPORT WAS NOTICEABLY BENT. HOW COULD AIRBAGS NOT DEPLOY? I WAS NOT DRIVING MY WIFE WAS.
MY CAR IS IM COROLLA 2017. WHEN I WAS DRIVING 2 DAYS AGO THE AIR BAG WARNING APPEARED IN THE DASHBOARD. I BROUGHT THE CAR TO THE NEAREST TOYOTA TO BE CHECKED. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE SPIRAL CABLE THAT CONNECTS TO THE DRIVER'S AIRBAG MODULE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. I TOLD THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE THAT MY CAR IS ONLY MORE THAN 3 YEARS OLD WITH 32,000 MILEAGE. MY CONCERN IS MY SAFETY DRIVING A CAR WHEN THE SPIRAL CABLE ATTACHED TO THE DRIVER'S AIRBAG IS DAMAGED WHICH COULD DEACTIVATES THE AIRBAG AND CAUSED THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT TO COME ON. HE MENTIONED I NEED TO PAY ROUGHLY $700.00 FOR THE SPIRAL ELECTRICAL WIRE TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE HE HAUD MY CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY ALREADY. IS IT REALLY MY FAULT IF THE SPIRAL CABLE IS DAMAGED THAT DEACTIVATES THE AIRBAG OR IS IT AN EXISTING ISSUE CONCERNING SPIRAL CABLE CONNECTED TO AIRBAGS. THANK YOU.
WHEN GOING DOWN HILL, THE CRUISE CONTROL RACES THE ENGINE INTO HIGH RPM (4000+ RPM) RATHER THAN SLOWING THE ENGINE AND CONTROLLING THE CAR SPEED. IT HAS DONE THIS SINCE IT WAS NEW.

I RECIEVED A LETTER ABOUT "IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL" FROM TOYOTA COMPANY. IT SAYS "INCOMPLETE OR NONDEPLOYMENT OF AIRBAGS AND SEAT BELT PRETENSIONERS MAY OCCUR." I TOOK MY CAR TO TOYOTA OF ORLANDO DEALER TO HAVE NEW PARTS REPLACED, BUT THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T HAVE THOSE PARTS TO REPLACE FOR MY CAR. I ASKED THEM WHEN THEY HAVE NEW PARTS TO FIX MY CAR. THEY SAID THEY DON'T KNOW WHEN, JUST GO HOME AND WAIT. I AM VERY WORRIED ABOUT MY SAFETY EVERY TIME I DRIVE TO WORK OR DO ERRANDS. THIS IS AN URGENT SAFETY RECALL. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DON'T HAVE NEW PARTS READY TO FIX CUSTOMERS' CAR. HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT FOR IT TO BE REPAIRED?

ON 3/12/20, DRIVING HOME AND TRAFFIC CAME TO SUDDEN STOP ON 80MPH INTERSTATE TRAVELING STRAIGHT, HIT THE BRAKES AND NOTHING, PEDAL WENT TO FLOOR. DROVE CAR INTO MEDIAN DITCH WITH ENGINE AND PARKING BRAKE ENGAGED TO AVOID ACCIDENT. LUCKILY NO DAMAGE TO CAR OR PEOPLE, PROPERTY DAMAGE OCCURED. TOWED TO NEAREST SHOP, DIAGNOSED AGAIN WITH MASTER CYLINDER FAILURE, CAR AT 52K MILES NOW, BARELY 8K FROM LAST REPLACEMENT . NOTIFIED TOYOTA HEADQUARTERS AGAIN WITHOUT RESOLUTION.

REPORTED IN MARCH, TOYOTA HAS NOT PROVIDED A REPLACEMENT/RENTAL DURING THE RECALL. VERY DIFFICULT TO MAKE PROGRESS GETTING HELP. BOUNCED BETWEEN DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS.
HEADLIGHTS ARE INADEQUATE, EVEN DANGEROUS. YOU CAN SEE A DISTINCT "HORIZON LINE" IN FRONT OF THE CAR WHICH HAS A SHARP CUTOFF ABOVE WHICH THERE IS NO ILLUMINATION. IN SPITE OF THEIR EXTREME INTENSITY, THESE HEADLIGHTS ILLUMINATE EVERYTHING BUT THE ROAD AHEAD. MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I AM DRIVING WITHOUT HEADLIGHTS. I THOUGHT THEY WERE NOT ALIGNED PROPERLY BUT DEALER SAYS THEY LOOK OK. I HAVE SINCE OBSERVED MANY SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ON VARIOUS WEB SITES FOR THE COROLLA OVER SEVERAL MODEL YEARS. HERE IS ONE OF MANY SIMILAR COMPLAINTS FOUND ON THE WEB: "THE MAIN FRONT LED LOW BEAM IS A PROBLEM ON ALL TRIMS OF THIS CURRENT GENERATION. IT IS TOO BRIGHT AND BLINDS ONCOMING DRIVERS, THERE IS ALSO A HARD CUTOFF LINE IN WHICH YOU CAN'T SEE ANYTHING ABOVE IT. THEY ALSO POORLY LIGHT THE ROAD. THE BEAM GOES EVERYWHERE BUT THE ROAD. IT SEEMS THEY ARE INCORRECTLY AIMED." "WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?" ONLY ALLOWS FOR A SINGLE DATE. THIS IS A CONTINUOUS PROBLEM. WHICH OCCURS ANYTIME YOU TRY TO DRIVE AT NIGHT.

A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED YET. I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT. I WAS STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN BEHIND A LINE OF CARS ON AN OFF RAMP OFF I-10EAST, EXIT 279 IN VAIL AZ. I WAS REAR ENDED BY ANOTHER CAR WHO REPORTED THEY HIT ME GOING 60MPH. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, MY SEATBELT DID NOT TENSION. I HIT MY HEAD AND FACE ON THE STEERING WHEEL. I SOUGHT MEDICAL TREATMENT AND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A CONCUSSION, WHIPLASH AND NECK INJURY.

I WAS DRIVING ALONG A SUBURBAN STREET WITH LITTLE TRAFFIC IN NICE WEATHER WHEN I HEARD WHAT SOUNDED LIKE A LIKE A LOUD EXPLOSION. I THOUGHT I GOT SHOT BY A GUN BUT I DIDN'T FEEL ANY PAIN SO I THOUGHT MY CAR WAS SHOT. WHEN I WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF MY VEHICLE TO CHECK THE DAMAGE, I WAS UNABLE TO FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I REAR-ENDED SOMEONE AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH AND NONE OF MY AIRBAGS DEPLOYED
STEERING WHEEL IS HARD TO TURN WHILE DRIVING.BECAUSE OF HARD STEERING WHEEL, IT IS HARD TO TURN. I FEEL RISKY WHILE TURNING BECAUSE THERE WOULD BE A CHANCES THAT IT WON'T TURN IN TIME AND WOULD HAVE THE RISK OF COLLISION.
MY CAR WAS IN DRIVE AND MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE SO I WAS NOT ACCELERATING. I WAS IN A TURNING LANE TO ENTER A BUSINESS. MY CAR SHUT OFF COMPLETELY AND THE LIGHTS ON MY DASH LIT UP. I WAITED A FEW MINUTES AND TOOK THE KEYS OUT OF THE IGNITION AND WAS ABLE TO START THE CAR AGAIN. I'VE ALSO HAD ISSUES IN THE PAST, ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, WHERE I TURN MY KEY IN THE IGNITION AND THE CAR WILL NOT START. THIS ISSUE HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES (EVEN WHEN IT WAS BRAND NEW) AND NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO DUPLICATE IT AS IT HAPPENS RANDOMLY. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND THE SEAT BELT DID NOT RESTRAIN, CAUSING THE CONTACT TO SLAM HER HEAD INTO THE STEERING WHEEL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NO WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A CONCUSSION, HEAD, NECK AND OCULAR BONE DAMAGE. THE CONTACT SOUGHT MEDICAL TREATMENT AT AN URGENT CARE FACILITY THE NEXT DAY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CALLED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND WAS TOWED TO A TOW YARD. THE CONTACT LATER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 20V024000 (AIR BAGS). THERE WERE NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO (NORTHRIDGE TOYOTA, 19550 NORDHOFF ST, NORTHRIDGE, CA 91324) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT FAILURE WAS DUE TO THE BRAKE SHIM KIT. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000.
PERSONALLY I AM A RATHER TALL PERSON. THE CAR WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR TALL PEOPLE. WHILE I WAS TRAVELING AT 65 MPH I WENT TO REST MY LEFT ANKLE TO A CLOSER SPOT ALONG THE DOOR AND SEAT. THE GAS LOCK AND TRUNK LEVER ARE IN THE SAME PLACE MY HEAL WAS, AND THE TRUNK OPENED WHILE GOING 65 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. THEY DIDN'T DESIGN THE CAR TO KEEP THE GAS LID OR TRUNK CLOSED IF ACCIDENTALLY TRIGGERED WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION. MY SECOND ISSUE WITH THE CAR IS THAT IT HAS ISSUES GOING INTO PARK. THE CAR ROLLS JUST A LITTLE AND THE SHIFTER CLICKS IN A DELAYED REACTION ONCE PLACED IN PARK.

HIS VEHICLE AND TWO OTHER VEHICLES LOOKING TO MAKE A LEFT-HAND TURN. THE CONTACT WAS REAR ENDED AT 45 MPH AND ENDED UP CRASHING INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HIM WHO CRASHED INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF THEM. THE CONTACT'S AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT HAD A MINOR CONCUSSION BUT THE PASSENGER WAS TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCE WITH INJURIES TO HER FACE AND BACK. THERE WERE NO MAJOR INJURIES WITH THE OTHER VEHICLES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED BY STATE FARM. THE WRECKAGE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WHERE NOT CALLED BY THE CONTACT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 27,000.
CLUNKING NOISE, SOMETIMES VERY NOTICEABLE WHEN GOING OVER SPEED BUMP AND TURNING STEERING TO RIGHT OR LEFT. TOOK THE CAR TO TOYOTA DEALERSHIP TWICE. BOTH TIMES THEY SAID THE NOISE IS NORMAL. BUT INDEPENDENT MECHANIC SAYS THERE IS PROBLEM WITH CV JOINT AND BUSHING. I AM WONDERING IF THIS VEHICLE IS SAFE TO DRIVE.

HELLO, ON SEPTEMBER 4TH 2019 I WAS INVOLVED IN A THREE CAR ACCIDENT, ME BEING IN THE MIDDLE. MY AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND THIS EVENING I JUST SAW A NEW ARTICLE ABOUT MANY TOYOTA COROLLAS BEING EFFECTED. LOW AND BEHOLD MY VEHICLE WAS ONE OF THE RECALL CARS. THERE IS NO WAS TO FIX THE CAR NOW I HAD TO GET A NEW ONE WHICH IS AGAIN ON THE LIST. I HAVE CHECKED BOTH VIN'S. I WAS INJURED IN THAT CRASH AND THAT AIR BAG COULD HAVE HELPED MY HEAD NOT GOING THE WAY IT DID. I'M EXTREMELY UPSET WITH THE FACT THIS WAS NOT BROUGHT FORWARD SOONER. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO HER DRIVER SIDE DOOR CAUSING QUESTIONS AS TO WHY THE DRIVER'S SIDE KNEE AIR BAG DEPLOYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL TOW LOT WHERE IT WAS CONSIDERED A TOTAL LOSS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. WHEN CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED, IF IT HITS A LEVEL OR DOWN HILL IT APPEARS TO DOWN SHIFT, BUT CONTINUE TO SPEED UP. IT SHOULD JUST REDUCE THE FUEL TO SLOW DOWN. THIS APPEARS TO BE A PROGRAM PROBLEM. THIS HAPPENS AT ALL SPEEDS. IT WAS BOUGHT USED FROM A TOYOTA DEALER. I HAVE NOT ASKED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT YET.
LANE DEPARTURE ALERT & PRE COLLISION SYSTEM MALFUNCTION WARNING LIGHT KEEP ILLUMINATING ON THE DASHBOARD FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME AND THEN WILL TURN OFF AGAIN WITHOUT WARNING. THIS IS ALSO AFFECTING THE CRUISE CONTROL AND THE ABS SYSTEM. I NOTICED THAT IT AFFECTS WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE TRANSMISSION WHEN I AM COMING TO A STOP THE CAR WILL SHAKE UNCONTROLLABLY AND ACT LIKE IT IS OUT OF GEAR. ALMOST LIKE IT IS POSSESSED. IT'S BEEN DOING IT ON AND OFF SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR AND I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY WILL FIX IT TEMPORARILY AND THEN SEVERAL MONTHS LATER IT ALWAYS COMES BACK. THIS PAST TIME HAS BEEN THE WORST AS IT SEEMS LIKE THERE ARE MULTIPLE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS THAT ARE BEING AFFECTED AND IT IS ACTUALLY AFFECTING THE STEERING AS WELL AS THE BREAKING AND EFFICIENT RUNNING OF THE VEHICLE .
I WON'T TO KNOW WHY IT'S NOT MANDATORY FOR ALL NEWLY MANUFACTURED VEHICLES TO HAVE THE COMPUTERIZED BLIND SPOT ASSISTANCE (BSA) SYSTEM INSTALLED? THIS SYSTEM MUST BE MANDATORY THE SAME AS SEATBELTS AND AIRBAGS. VEHICLES SUCH AS THE NISSANS HAVE ADVANCED WARNING SYSTEMS FOR BLIND SPOTS. COUNTLESS MOTOR VEHICLES ACCIDENTS HAPPEN DAILY BECAUSE DRIVERS CAN'T PROPERLY SEE EXISTING TRAFFIC PRIOR TO CHANGING LANES DUE TO SIDE MIRROR BLIND SPOTS. THE DUAL/DOUBLE SIDE MIRROR MUST BE MADE AVAILABLE SO THE DEALERS OR THE INDIVIDUAL CAN REMOVE/REPLACE ALL EXISTING MIRRORS. IT NEEDS TO BE MANDATORY FOR CURRENT OWNERS OF ALL VEHICLES BEING DRIVEN TO HAVE AT LEAST THE DUAL/SPLIT MIRROR. THIS SAFETY REQUIREMENT WILL SAVE COUNTLESS LIVES EACH DAY. THESE WARNING SYSTEMS SHOULD NOT BE A LUXURY FOR ONLY THE RICH. EVERY LIFE MATTERS. THE TECHNOLOGY IS THERE AND MUST BE USED TO HELP SAVE LIVES. PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO WHOM EVER CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR CHANGE.
